In a press release today, it has been confirmed that Fenryr Wulfsson has indeed suffered an injury to his knee. The injury was sustained at Empire Wrestling’s “Hype” event on September 11 in an apparent revenge attack by Casey Grey, Alicia Monroe, Karli Frost, and newcomer Annabelle Daboia. Fenryr’s manager, Rune Sigidottir, is also expected to be out for what is also an indeterminate amount of time. Rune agreed to give a statement despite her face being bandaged up from injuries that are suspected to have come from an attack from Annabelle Daboia, also on September 11.
“This was a cowardly attack perpetrated by mentally deranged people. There was no reason for it and it took us completely by surprise. I…we…will be back. And when we get back, I am going to create rivers of blood from the bodies of all four of them. Casey, Alicia, that new psycho girl, and the traitor Karli. They are going to pay for what they’ve done.”
The extent of Fenryr’s injuries are unknown at the moment, though it is expected that both he and Rune will be out of competition for some time.
