Earlier in the Day
In the interview area of the Warehouse Kevin Olsen is sitting in a chair and across from him is “Spoiled” Summer Page. Summer takes a sip of coffee as Kevin gives a nod to his cameraman.
Kevin Olsen:I am here today with one of the wrestlers competing in a five person battle royal to determine who will be getting a shot at the Empire Wrestling World Heavyweight title match on July 7. Please welcome “Spoiled” Summer Page. Thank you for joining me today.
“Spoiled” Summer Page:Thank you for having me, Kevin.
Kevin Olsen:I have got to say that you have been on quite a roll since your return to Empire Wrestling, Summer.
“Spoiled” Summer Page:(Chuckles)Yes, I have been very happy with how things have been going since I returned to the Warehouse. Hopefully that continues tonight and that will carry over to this upcoming Sunday.
Kevin Olsen:If you do get through tonight’s battle royal you’ll be challenging the World Heavyweight Champion, Serena Riot, who is the wife of one of your very good friends and fellow Empire Wrestling superstars, Lacy Harston.
“Spoiled” Summer Page:That would indeed make things very interesting but Serena, Lacy and I are all professionals. From bell to bell we will handle our business…
Kevin Olsen:How can you be so sure? It seems as though since FCW’s show a little over a week ago we have seen a new side to Serena.
“Spoiled” Summer Page:I did see that and I have to admit, Kevin, that you are right. It is a side of her that I have never seen but Lacy assured me that all is good.
Kevin Olsen:But before you can focus on Serena you will have to face off with four great wrestlers in AJ Adams, Marilyn Lee Cross, Casey Grey, and Eve O’Donnell to earn a World title shot on Sunday.
“Spoiled” Summer Page:So true, Kev, and these four are all high level talent. So whoever comes out the winner and the number one contender will definitely have earned that title shot. I know Eve will be extra motivated because of the recent issues she has had with Serena over the last several months. While AJ and Casey are both some of the very best in the world or they wouldn’t be in the Empire locker room. But opportunities like this is why I came back to Empire Wrestling. To compete against the greatest talent in the world in my own backyard of NYC. Becoming World Heavyweight Champion in New York. The place where I was born and raised is something that I have dreamt of since I first became a wrestler. So you damn right I will be ready tonight and then on Sunday.
