Episode #117 - July 29, 2024
The show kicked off with a rundown of the current point standings after the first week of the Warfare Series. With week one in the books it is still a wide open series as Bia, Carter Adams, Leo Lions, Moon Doorells, and Taylor Voight all have 7 points after their wins. We were ready to get the matches underway with the first Warfare Series match of the night.
WARFARE SERIES MATCH
Lucas Branson Vs. Colton Callahan
The cowboy was out first as he shouted at a few fans at ringside and rolled into the ring. Branson came to the ring second and the fans started to chant “Lucky”. He tossed his flashy robe to the outside and we were ready. The two locked up and Callahan’s brawling style was on display as he kept clobbering Branson with blows. Callahan was able to power Branson to the mat with a big powerslam and got one when trying to cover. Branson had the fans behind him as she started to stand and he was able to be alert enough to duck the Colt 45 (spinning back elbow). Branson hit a big neckbreaker, pulled him up and delivered a DDT, and then a big suplex. Callahan stumbled up and into the corner where he was rocked with Let it Ride (Helluva Kick)! Branson went into a near three count cover but Callahan kicked out. Branson started to lift Callahan up to his feet and Callahan pushed him away. Callahan looked for a belly to back suplex but Branson countered into Triple 7s (RKO)! Branson covered and got the pinfall win!

WARFARE SERIES MATCH
Olivia Diaz Vs. Luna Bowman
Bowman and Diaz made their way to the ring and it was clear that Bowman had both a size and strength advantage. Diaz tried to use some speed early on with kicks and quick takedowns. Diaz came off the ropes and was slammed down with a big spinebuster. Bowman lifted Diaz right back to her feet and then right back down with a scoop slam. Bowman grabbed her by both legs and started to swing her around with a giant swing. After around a dozen rotations she stopped and covered Diaz for two. Bowman started to lift Diaz up but Diaz was able to get away after a knee to the face caught her as she was lifting Diaz for a suplex. Diaz hit Bowman with Skidrow (Running Knee Strike)! Diaz covered and got a two before Bowman powered up. Bowman got a few hard shots in on Diaz and Diaz fought back. Diaz went to the top rope and dove but Bowman caught her. Bowman countered into Sweet Dreams (Fireman's carry overhead kick)! Bowman covered and got the victory!

There’s a cheer as Lacy Hartson makes her way to the ring, surprising the fans in the Warehouse. She smiles as she makes her way down and climbs into the ring. She’s handed a microphone as she looks around and the fans cheer.
Lacy Hartson: Empire Wrestling! It’s been a little bit!
“LACY! LACY LACY!” chants fill the Warehouse.
Lacy Hartson: I’ve been a little banged up recently and was told to slow it down for just a bit. I had some obligations to take care of over in FCW and those are over now. But, something just isn’t sitting right. People that might have missed it, Eve O’Donnell and I have been going at it. I beat her at the last FCW show but it just doesn’t feel like it’s over, it wasn’t enough. I want… violence… I want a headline. EVE!
Lacy turns to the camera and looks right into it as he zooms in.

Lacy drops her microphone as the fans erupt and she leaves the ring.
Freaks with Benefits (Krista May Williams & Kayla Taylor) Vs. Chelsea LeClair & Missy Propaganda
The fans were mixed on the Freaks with Benefits as they came out, excited for their return, but soured on them attacking LeClair last week. LeClair and Taylor went at it first and exchanged some takedowns before LeClair started to get the advantage. Taylor made a tag to Williams and she jumped into the ring. Williams took LeClair down and then knocked Propaganda off the apron. Missy jumped up and pulled Williams down by her hair and the referee started to lose control of the match. All four women were in the ring and Taylor was rocked by a roundhouse kick from Propaganda. LeClair hit Taylor with her Ocean City Crusher (Hurricanrana Driver) and the fans were fired up. Williams grabbed LeClair and tried to deliver her Last Breath (Swinging Inverted DDT) but Propaganda was there to break it up. The Freaks started to regroup on the outside and shook their heads as they jumped into the crowd and left, taking the countout.

Moon Doorells Vs. SHURA
Doorells and SHURA were ready for the next Warfare Series match as the bell rang. SHURA opened with hard clops to get Doorells off balance early on and started to hit a series of suplexes and an overhead belly to belly. Doorells had to start using some speed and took him to the mat with a slingblade. A handspring elbow in the corner caught SHURA in the jaw and Doorells was able to take him down with a monkey flip. After a big takedown, Doorells went to the top rope and delivered a frog splash. She covered for only two. SHURA tried to fight back and was able to catch Doorells with a hard knee to the gut and then deliver a backdrop driver! He covered and the crowd popped when Doorells was able to kick out at two. Doorells had to duck a big lariat attempt and as SHURA turned, she caught him with the ATL Vice (RKO)! She hooked both legs and got the three count win!

Josh Williams Vs. Tala Leilani
Williams came out along and was ready for the match. He looked at his opponent as Leilani made her debut. Williams runs into a big boot and he gets right back up. He charged again and Leilani hit a big chokeslam! Leilani pulled him up and called for the match to be over as he hit his Welcome To Prima Kappa Kappa (Tour Of The Islands)! Leilani covered and picked up the three count pinfall.

“It Girl” Taylor Voight is walking through the backstage area of the Warehouse with a bounce in her step.
“It Girl” Taylor Voight: Did you all see it last week? I started this Warfare tournament with a big win and I have every confidence in the world that I’ll be keeping this momentum going against Carter Adams tonight.
Taylor turns down a hallway corner.
“It Girl” Taylor Voight: You know I can’t say that you’re trash because I honestly don’t know anything about you, Carter. But I will say that I believe in myself and all of my abilities which is why I’ll not only beat you tonight but the whole Warfare tournament. I have the mental equity along with all the natural ability in the world to navigate my way through this tournament against the very best up and comers in all of professional wrestling.
PRIMETIME CONTENDER TOURNAMENT
Jason Evans Vs. Harper Mason Vs. Claire Talbot
The next match was to determine one of the finalists in the Primetime Contender Tournament. We got a shot of Melody Slayton backstage watching as the match was unfolding early. Each competitor was throwing pump kicks, roundhouse kicks, and their speed was on display as many were dodged. Evans hit a tornado kick on Mason as she dropped to the mat. Talbot came off the top and caught Evans with a flying thrust kick to the jaw! Talbot took Mason down with a headscissors and had control of the match. Evans had made his way to the top rope and took Talbot down with a meteora. Evans pulled Mason up and looked for his Flatliner (Cutter) but she countered into a German suplex. Mason grabbed Evans as he stood and rocked him with Into The Earth (Ripcord Rolling Elbow). Evans was out cold as Talbot caught Mason with the Foxy Smack (Diving calf kick)! Talbot saw an opening and hit Evans with Flawless (Double jump moonsault) and covered for three!

“Spoiled” Summer Page: Don’t think that just because I am not in the Warehouse tonight doesn’t mean I am not aware of what is going on in New York. I mean our new Empire Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion will be in action tonight and ultimately that is what I want to be and I will be sooner rather than later.
Atlanta Banshee owner and Summer’s boyfriend, Craig Burton, walks up behind Summer and kisses her neck as he hands her a glass of champagne.

Carter Adams Vs. Taylor Voight
It was time for the next match as the bell rang. Adams used his size to lift Voight up and slam her to the mat. Voight was lifted up and dropped with an electric chair drop. Adams went for a cover for just one. Voight started to fight back after raking the eyes of Adams and then hitting “It Girl” (Spike DDT)! Voight hit a jumping leg drop to Adams and covered for barely two. Adams started to come back and looked for a lariat and Voight ducked it. She looked for a roll up but Adams was able to counter and shift his weight just enough to be able to pin her shoulders down. Voight kicked out but it just wasn’t in time!

Marilyn Lee Cross Vs. Kimiko Hirano
The World Champion was set to compete next as Kimiko stood on the outside of the ring and said something to the ring crew. Cross seemed annoyed as she handed the title off and readied. Seth Brown was announced for the match and we learned this was a Dishonor recruit. The bell rang and Cross rocked him with Mary Go Round (Discus Big Boot). The fans were on their feet as she pulled Brown into position and locked in Hungry Jaws (Dragon Sleeper w/ body scissors), giving Brown no choice but to tap.

Bia Vs. Leo Lions
Main event time as the two competitors circled each other. They exchanged some takedowns and arm drags and Bia caught him with a big spear out of nowhere! She covered for one one and smirked. Bia started to set up for a powerbomb but he was able to fight free with blows to the head. Lions hit a suplex and powered Bia up and hit a belly to back suplex. The fans cheered on the action as Lion tried locking in his liontamer. Bia struggled and used her powerful legs to send him flying into the corner. Bia and Lions were both up and came to blows in the center of the ring as the fans went crazy. Bia hit Lions with a spinebuster and was fired up. She started to set up for a stretch muffler but Lions countered with a headscissors. Lions jumped up and hit a codebreaker. She covered but Bia kicked out at two. Lions went to the top rope and delivered the Lion Pounce (Takedown from the top)! Lions covered and got two just before Bia kicked out. Lions tried to pull Bia to her feet and she caught him with a hard elbow to the face. Lions charged at Bia and he ran right into her Maelstrom (F5)! Bia covered and got the pinfall.
