Superstar History: Returning from a near career ending injury at the hands of Sid Dharth, with TCW now ruins before his feet, The Kumquat Kid, now 32, shows no signs of mellowing out or slowing down. The former two time TCW Tag Team Champion is in search of singles gold, and when he says singles gold he doesn't mean yellow Kraft Singles, even though they sound delicious right about now...maybe on a roll with a sausage pattie or bacon cheeseburger. Where was I? Oh yeah. The Kumquat Kid has signed with EWS to continue the legacy he has built, but also to answer some burning questions, like who decided it was a good idea to allow Nikki Minaj to sing, or why are there NEVER any giant Twizzlers On A Pole Match? You know, questions all wrestling visionaries such as himself wants to know.
The Kumquat Kid would spend time in BWF, capturing the BWF Chaos Theory Championship from Danny Hall, but that's when tragedy would strike. Huey Lewis, Ryan's first child and only son, would develop pediatric cancer that would soon end his life, sending Ryan down a downward spiral of alienating himself from friends and family, as depression, anxiety, paranoia, and bipolar disorder would turn into some severe PTSD, manifesting itself into the birth of who was known as Clockwork Kumquat, a darker, much more sinister side of the fun loving Kumquat Kid. Ryan would leave BWF, emerge in PWR, quickly capturing the PWR Anarchy Title, reigning supreme until VENUS would capture the gold, Ryan packing his bags from PWR, seemingly never to return. Prompting by BJ Jones would send Ryan back home, hopefully to find peace, and the man his friends and fans once knew.
PWR would close, leaving fans wondering if they'd ever see their beloved, goofy, citrus loving hero ever again. Would Ryan sign with EW? Indeed he would, becoming Empire Wrestling's Lightheavyweight Champion (or as he called, the champion of all things light AND heavy!) as the company's most beloved champion, so much so that rumor has it the U.K. started opening Denny's restaurants in his honor! However, Empire Wrestling didn't last long, and Ryan would find himself bouncing around from PWR to CHAMP Wrestling before a feud with long time friend Dunk would have him seeking employment elsewhere.
And here we are, the year is 2018, and a giant Cheeto Man rules the White House with only 37 year old Ryan Lewis and the power of citrus able to defend the country AND the sport he loves.
