Next Level: Turmoil - December 26, 2018
Scott Parker: Welcome one and all to Next Level: Turmoil! Tonight we crown the Empire Wrestling Tag Team Champions.
Gemma Foster: The Freaks with Benefits. The Glorious Bastards. Hell’s Belles. One of these three teams will walk out tonight champions.
Scott Parker: It’ll be an EW turmoil tag match. All six competitors will be legal, no disqualifications, no count outs, and the only way to win is via pinfall or submission in the ring. It’s going to be, well, turmoil!
Gemma Foster: Along with all the other action tonight we’ll see F.M. Young defend her Heavyweight Championship in the main event against Chelsea Pryce.
Scott Parker: And don’t forget that we’re expecting AJ Adams here at ringside to watch the match.
Gemma Foster: I heard rumors that AJ and FM had coffee backstage before the show and he promises no harm to either Chelsea or FM.
The Purge Vs. The Haters
Gio DeLuca: Ho. Ho. Ho.
Gemma is cut off as we get the familiar voice of Gio DeLuca, one half of the Haters.
Gio DeLuca: Was Santa good to all of you? Cause y’all know you ain’t deserve any of it. Everyone in here, you’re a bunch of haters.
The fans boo as DeLuca and Salvatore make their way to the ring. Before they could get even half way down the ramp, the trio of Francis, Shrader, and Artemis hit the stage and attacked from behind. Francis was barking orders as they tore into the Haters. Salvatore was tossed shoulder first into the steel steps before Artemis hit him with a running knee to the head. Francis rolled DeLuca into the ring as Shrader was yelled at the referee to ring the bell. She locked DeLuca into the Merciless Killing (Muta Lock) and he quickly tapped out.
WINNERS: The Purge, via submission @ :10
Family Bonds
Ollie Maverick: A lot of people mistake our kindness for weakness. A lot of people think because we like to have fun that we don’t take this seriously.
Johnny Maverick: A lot of people… are fucking stupid.
Johnny and Ollie Maverick are backstage, Ollie in his Ryu themed Street Fighter ring gear we’ve seen him wear previously and Johnny wearing new Ken Masters themed gear.
Ollie Maverick: Anyone with an ounce of sense can look past a few raccoon memes and silly backstage skits and look at the broken faces we’ve left in our wake courtesy of a few well-placed knees and roundhouse kicks.
Johnny Maverick: Because if we aren’t causing the laughter in your heart we’re causing that clicking noise in your jaw.
Ollie Maverick: We aren’t brothers by blood. I was adopted by a Demonic Dickhead obsessed with finding ‘a perfect heir’. But the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb. I’ve never met my real family but even if I had a real brother, Johnny will always be more my brother than they could ever be.
Johnny Maverick: We trained together. We traveled together. We won tag titles together. On our own we are great. We can win any singles title in any company and we’ve never had to suck up to management to do it. We kinda prefer to do things the hard way in that regard.
Ollie Maverick: But we both believe that together? We make the single greatest tag team in the world.
Johnny Maverick: My third eye is open and because of that I believe that there are infinite realities and in those realities there are infinite possibilities and infinite outcomes of infinite situations. There are realities where I am a whole other person. Realities where this is a whole different company… but I believe that there isn’t a single one of those realities where Ollie and I don’t win this match and become Empire Wrestling Tag Team Champions. We are a tag team so great we transcend the Multiverse. We are the Singularity.
Ollie Maverick: The Freaks With Benefits and the Hell’s Belle’s? They have a lot of what it takes to make a tag team. They’re good. GREAT, even. There’s just one thing that they aren’t and that’s…
Johnny Maverick: …Fucking…GLORIOUS.
The pair exchange a fist bump before they walk offscreen together.
No DQ Match
Ash Fi Vs. Daniel Daemon
There was a lot of tension heading into this match with the fall out of Fi and Daemon battling backstage weeks ago. Daemon stood in the ring waiting. Fi made her way to the ring slowly dragging a kendo stick on the ground. She circled the ring just staring at Daemon. He invited her into the ring and she accepted and the bell quickly sounded as the two went to blows. His massive right hands backed her into the corner but she drove a knee into Daemon’s gut. He backed just briefly which allowed Fi to crack the kendo stick over his head. Daemon staggered and Fi landed a second blow. Daemon just smirked and landed a headbutt that dropped Fi. Fi rolled to her feet and was taken down with a scoop slam.
Scott Parker: Daemon took two vicious shots to the head with that kendo stick but it isn’t enough.
Fi rolled out of the ring to try and compose herself. Daemon leaned through the ropes and Fi cracked the kendo stick across the head of Daemon once again. Daemon dropped to his knees and was leaning out from the middle and top ropes. Fi jumped onto the apron and connected with a superkick to the side of the head. Daemon fell backwards into the ring and Fi climbed back into the ring. She held the kendo stick up as Daemon started to stand. He reached forward and grabbed her by her outfit and pulled her towards him. She tripped up and went head first into the middle turnbuckle. The referee checked on Fi as she seemed to be out and Daemon quickly pulled her up and tossed her into the corner and unloaded with meticulous left and rights. Daemon tossed Fi across the ring with a big hip toss and she staggered to her feet before getting dropped with a running big boot. Daemon lifted her off the mat by her throat and wanted a chokeslam but she was able to land a kick to the gut. Fi tried to fight back with forearms before Daemon tossed her back into the corner and hit her with a big corner splash. He lifted Fi to the top ropes and followed. He started to lift Fi up into a suplex and held her in the air as he climbed to the very top rope.
Gemma Foster: He’s looking for the Power of Asmodeus (Delayed vertical suplex) on the top rope!
Fi started to struggle and swung her weight down and fell to the apron as Daemon tumbled to the floor below. Fi fell backwards and landed beside Daemon on the floor as the fans gasped.
Scott Parker: That’s a nasty fall for both competitors. I’m not sure either has moved yet.
The referee called for trainers as he checked on both and then he called for the bell. Daemon started to stir and pulled himself up and seemed upset that the bell had sounded and the match ended in a no contest.
NO CONTEST
Paradise Tango (Talia Areano/Azurine Vebbins) Vs. Spectres (Mighty Jo Young/Riley Rouse)
The match was announced and the music for Paradise Tango hit but finally cut out after they didn’t appear on stage. The music for the Spectres played next but once again no one appeared on stage.
Gemma Foster: What’s going on?
Scott Parker: I’m not sure. Wait…- I’m being told there’s a situation backstage.
The cameras cut backstage as we see the Spectres and Paradise Tango battling with the Purge! All three members of the Purge had chairs in hand and were beating on the other two teams.
Scott Parker: The Purge sending a message here tonight! They tore into the Haters and it continues!
Gemma Foster: This is uncalled for!
Francis once against barked orders as they took out the four with chairs and security finally chased them off.
The Ten-Year War
Get me out of this God-forsaken city,
Let me start over somewhere new.
All my friends have turned up missing,
I can’t blame it on my youth.
Throw my heart in the well of wishing,
Pay my toll to just move on
Ask myself to please forgive me,
All my innocence is gone…”
Inside of a locker room, Egypt Central’s “Backfire” resonates from a wireless silver BlueTooth speaker. Chelsea Pryce is dressed in her ring attire and warming up for her upcoming match. She lifts her left leg, presses her boot high against the wall, and uses it to help her stretch. Then she does this for her right leg. She even stretches her arms out so her fingertips can touch the tip of her boot. She doesn’t even seem to realize there’s a camera nearby. She’s only focused on the challenge ahead: to become the Empire Heavyweight Champion.
“How ya feelin, champ?”
Johnny Maverick snuck up behind Chelsea and said it right into her ear. This received a slight jump, but she was calmly able to lower her leg. He was always good at keeping her on her toes. Wearing the ‘Ken Masters’ gear that matched his brother’s ‘Ryu’ outfit, he’s beaming with pride at his girlfriend. She turns towards him and smiles softly.
Chelsea Pryce: “I’ve been better. You look great, Johnny.”
She leans in and kisses him. Johnny kisses back briefly then pulls away.
Johnny Maverick: Yeah, the whole costume thing makes Ollie happy, so I just go with it. So, ya nervous or are you channeling all that energy into badassness?
Chelsea contemplates his question before she sighs softly.
Chelsea Pryce: Even the best performers are nervous… but I have a bad feeling about tonight. What does AJ Adams want with me? Why is management determined to protect him?
She closes her eyes and shakes her head slowly.
Chelsea Pryce: ...What if I lose?
Johnny listens to her and nods.
Johnny Maverick: I’ve never been able to trust that dude. Don’t know why. Just always rubbed me the wrong way. Don’t get caught up in ‘what-ifs’ and ‘whys’ right now. You have a goal. It has a form. You’re as close to it as you can possibly be. Go out there and get it.
Raising her head, Chelsea looks up to Johnny, a softness in her facial features. She places her left hand over his right cheek and caresses his cheekbones with her thumb.
Chelsea Pryce: You’re right. I’m this close to ending my ten-year war. I’ve never been able to win the top-tier championship in my entire career, but that changes tonight. I will defeat FM Young and become the new Empire Wrestling Heavyweight Champion!
Johnny Maverick: Okay...this right now? This confidence? This is hot. I should go… I should definitely go. Yes. Good luck. I love you.
Chelsea can’t help but laugh when Johnny leans in and kisses her. She returns the kiss and smiles at him.
Chelsea Pryce: We’ll take care of that later. I love you too, sweetheart. Good luck.
She winks. He kisses her again before he leaves her locker room. The Stiletto Knife takes a deep breath, notices the camera, and exhales slowly.
Chelsea Pryce: ...There’s always a price to pay.
Baby, It’s Cold Outside
Casey Grey and Alicia Monroe walk through the back of the warehouse. Both are in their wrestling shorts, heavy coats, and earmuffs.
Alicia Monroe: It’s drafty in here.
Casey Grey: Of course it’s drafty. We basically ain’t wearin’ pants.
The pair round a corner and run into Rune. She’s on the phone.
Rune Sigidottir: Yeah, any day…um, I’ll call you back.
Rune hangs up the phone, slipping it into her handbag.
Casey Grey: Who’re you talkin’ to?
Rune Sigidottir: Nobody. Well, somebody, of course. Business. You two look absolutely ridiculous. Why aren’t you wearing pants?
Casey Grey: Match.
Rune Sigidottir: You should have worn the pants. It’s cold outside.
Alicia Monroe: They banned that song. Sad, really.
Rune looks at Alicia for a moment before shaking her head.
Rune Sigidottir: Whatever. Look, same as ever, okay? You two get out there and bring momma two more belts. Maybe put nice bows on them or something, whatever…you people do this time of year.
Casey and Alicia walk away. Rune takes her phone out of her handbag and dials a number. She speaks with her back to the camera.
Rune Sigidottir: It’s me. Like I was saying, this isn’t going to last forever. I’ll push the issue if I have to.
A beat.
Rune Sigidottir: I know! Don’t you think I know! This is hard on me too. You just have to trust me a little longer. The end result is going to be…incredible. See you soon.
Rune hangs up the phone and turns around, noticing the cameraman after apparently assuming he followed Casey and Alicia.
Rune Sigidottir: Damn it! Don’t you have anything better to do that spy on my dinner plans? Two girls just walked by with no pants on, for gods sakes. Get away from me!
Rune storms out of frame.
Josh Goldstein Vs. Bailey Mayhew Vs. Zoey Mathews-Mitchell
After a brief absence from Empire Wrestling the fans were excited to see Goldstein make his way to the ring. He embraced the crowd and was fired up. Mayhew was ready for a fight as she made her way to the ring next. She walked around the ring and started to stretch on the outside as Mathews-Mitchell made her way down next.
Scott Parker: Big match right here as Mathews-Mitchell is the number one contender to the Primetime Championship. If Goldstein or Mayhew can pull off a victory it would be huge for them going forward.
All three competitors got into the ring as the bell sounded and the match got underway. It was a quick paced match as the three all exchanged lefts and rights. Goldstein hit Mathews-Mitchell with a hip toss but turned right into a kick to the gut from Mayhew. She followed it up with a snapmare. Mathews-Mitchell stepped up and landed a kick to the chest of Goldstein but then was hit with an uppercut from Mayhew. Mayhew jumped up and spiked Mathews-Mitchell into the mat with a big DDT.
Gemma Foster: This is a big match for Mayhew. She’s been on such a roll lately that if she could win it would speak volumes for where she is.
Mayhew pulled Mathews-Mitchell to her feet and sent her into the corner. She connected with a big corner splash and then was taken down with a running crossbody by Goldstein as she turned around. Goldstein hooked Mayhew’s leg for a cover but just got two. Goldstein got to his feet and turned to Mathews-Mitchell. Mathews-Mitchell came running with a dropkick that sent him into the corner. She stood and pulled Goldstein into position and hit a tornado DDT. Mathews-Mitchell popped to her feet just in time to catch a charging Mayhew with a flapjack. Mathews-Mitchell turned back to Goldstein and went to pull him up but Goldstein rolled her up with a small package but got two. Mathews-Mitchell stood and was clotheslined over the top ropes. Mayhew grabbed Goldstein for a Russian leg sweep but he battled out with elbows to the head. Goldstein sent Mayhew over the top rope and she dropped onto Mathews-Mitchell on the outside. Goldstein readied himself and ran off the far ropes and came back with a somersault plancha, taking out both Mathews-Mitchell and Mayhew.
Scott Parker: Goldstein all fired up here tonight!
All three competitors were slow to get up but Goldstein grabbed Mayhew and rolled her into the ring. Goldstein climbed to the apron and then the top ropes. He started to get his balance but Mathews-Mitchell jumped up and pushed him off the top and to the mat. She jumped into the ring and grabbed Mayhew and hit her with the Faceplant (Famouser). She rolled Mayhew into a cover but only got two as Goldstein was there to break it up. Goldstein pulled Mathews-Mitchell to her feet but she started to land blows to Goldstein. Mayhew got to her feet and hit Mathews-Mitchell with the Hurricane Bailey (Cyclone Kick)! Mayhew stood and was hit with the Chutzpah Boot (Running Bicycle Kick). Goldstein lined both Mathews-Mitchell and Mayhew up and hit a double Dreidel Drop (Somersault Leg Drop) and covered Mathews-Mitchell for the victory.
WINNER: Josh Goldstein, via pinfall @ 16:21
Gemma Foster: What a win for Josh Goldstein!
Freak You Up
We’re backstage as we see Krista May Williams and Kayla Taylor standing backstage, their match up next. Kayla and Krista are standing with their foreheads pressed against each other as they hold hands.
Krista May Williams: You ready?
Kayla Taylor: So ready.
They turn to the camera and fix their elbow pads.
KMW: Tonight we become two-time EW Tag Team Champions. We become the first to hold them in this era of Empire Wrestling. It doesn’t matter who thinks they SHOULD be champions, we WILL be champions.
KT: We’ve been ready for Hell’s Belles for months now. It was destiny that they are in this match with us. It was always going to be one of us. As far as the Maverick boys go?
KMW: Sorry, boys. This isn’t your night. Tonight, we freak you up.
EW Tag Team Championship
Hell’s Belles (Casey Grey/Alicia Monroe) Vs. Freaks with Benefits (Krista May Williams/Kayla Taylor) Vs. Glorious Bastards (Johnny Maverick/Ollie Maverick)
Grey and Monroe were out first and fired each other up on the way down the ramp. Rune stood behind them and smiled. Hell’s Belles stopped at the bottom of the ramp and looked at each other before sliding into the ring in unison.
Gemma Foster: Casey Grey knows what it takes to be a champion here in Empire Wrestling. She’s going to take whatever it takes to become a double champion.
The fans bust in cheers as the Mavericks came to the ring in their matching outfits. The duo talked strategy at the top of the ramp before making it down to the ring.
Scott Parker: Ollie and Johnny have each been very successful around the world. Tonight they’ll look to capture tag gold.
There was a mixed reaction for the Freaks with Benefits as Taylor and Williams came out. They wasted no time as they charged the ring and ran past the Glorious Bastards and into the ring. The referee held up the Tag Team Championships but Taylor and Williams went right into a battle with Grey and Monroe.
Scott Parker: It’s been a long time coming with a lot of bad blood between these four ladies.
Gemma Foster: Here come the Bastards!
Johnny and Ollie jumped into the ring and joined in on the brawl as the fans ate it up. There were hands flying and Johnny hit Williams with a OFMF (Running Palm Strike). He turned around and was hit with the Short Drop Method (3D) from Hell’s Belles. They jumped up and Ollie hit a running double drop kick that sent them flying. Ollie was fired up but when he turned around he took a hard kick to the gut from Taylor that dropped him to his knees. She loaded up and hit him with the Stamp It Out (Superkick to opponent on knees). Taylor screamed and wanted some more as she looked around the ring. She grabbed Grey but Grey started to fight back with right hands. Grey sent her hard, face first, into the top turnbuckle. And again. And again. Again. Grey flipped Taylor to the mat and started to unload with mounted punches. The rest of the competitors battled around the ring as it was pure mayhem.
Gemma Foster: This is why this is a turmoil tag team match! There’s no strategy here tonight. Just beat down everyone else until you can get a pin!
Monroe had Ollie backed into a corner and was driving her shoulder into his gut. She pulled him into position and went for Freebird (Running Bulldog) and dropkicked Taylor at the same time. Johnny grabbed Grey and delivered a big German suplex. She rolled to her feet and he hit her with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Williams rushed over to Johnny and hit him with the Last Breath (Swinging Inverted DDT). Grey then hit her with the Breath Mint (Running Forearm Smash). Before she could go into a cover, Ollie speared Grey through the ropes and they both went to the floor below as all six competitors were down.
Scott Parker: The fast paced, hard hitting action is starting to catch up to everyone.
Gemma Foster: It’s still anyone’s… wait a second!
There was a stir in the crowd and the team of Artemis, Shrader, and Francis, the Purge, jumped over the barricade.
Scott Parker: What are they doing here!?
Francis barked the orders as they started to take out each competitors one by one. Tossing Ollie into the barricade, sending Grey bouncing face first off the steel steps, Johnny was pulled out of the ring and send shoulder first into the barricade. Taylor started to fight with Artemis before Francis hit her with a Full Nelson Bomb.
Scott Parker: Someone get them out of here!
Trainers rushed to the ring and started to break up the fight just as Monroe was handcuffed to the bottom ropes on the outside of the ring. Williams and Ollie started to take the fight to the Purge as they scattered through the crowd. Ollie and Williams rolled back into the ring and looked around at the damage and then quickly tried to fight each other. Ollie rolled Williams up with a small package for two before Williams popped to her feet. She tucked a clothesline and rolled him up with a school pin pin but he flipped back to his feet. They both stood and Ollie hit the 360 No-Scope! (Jumping corkscrew roundhouse kick) He looked for a cover but only got two as Grey pulled Ollie out of the ring. She lifted him up and flapjacked him onto the announcers table Grey rolled into the ring and stalked Williams. Johnny checked on his partner and then rolled into the ring behind Grey. Johnny spun her around and hit Brain Damage (Jumping Brainbuster). Johnny tried to cover but Taylor pulled him back to his feet. She sent Johnny towards Williams and she hit him with a drop toe hold before the duo hit him with the Season Ender/Plan A Combo (Double Shining Wizard). Taylor rushed over to the ropes and took out Ollie with a flying forearm through the middle ropes. Monroe was trying to get into the ring but couldn’t get the handcuffs off. Rune had left for the back to get help. Williams went to cover Grey but Grey pulled her into a small package and got a two count. Grey lifted Williams up for the Racklash (Rack Attack) but Williams was able to struggle out and down to her feet. Williams pulled Grey down into the Revertigo (Tilt-A-Whirl Armbar). Grey started to crawl to the ropes. Williams countered into her Better Than You (Cattle Mutilation). Grey was in pain and Monroe kept trying to reach her partner but couldn’t.
Scott Parker: Casey has to tap!
Gemma Foster: Live to fight another day, Casey!
Rune came rushing to the ring with boltcutters and tried to get Monroe free but Grey tapped out.
WINNERS AND NEW EW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: Freaks with Benefits, via submission @ 19:11
Taylor rushed into the ring with the titles and handed one to Williams. Monroe jumped into the ring and was livid. The Purge jumped back across the barricade and started their assault again. The Freaks grabbed their titles and quickly made their way up the ramp. Monroe hit a big clothesline on Artemis and tried to take on Francis but the numbers game quickly caught up as Shrader hit her in the back with a chair. There was carnage in the ring as the new champions sat at the top of the ramp with the titles in hand.
Gemma Foster: The Purge sent a message to the entire tag division here tonight. They mean business.
EW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
F.M. Young [c] Vs. Chelsea Pryce
The fans were still buzzing for the last match but it was time for the main event of the night. Before things got underway the fans were excited as AJ Adams made his way out to the stage. He said something the camera couldn’t quite catch and made his way to the ring and walk over to the timekeepers area and grabbed a seat. Chelsea Pryce came out first and shot a look over to Adams, not happy to see him. She ran around the ring and off the ropes as the champion’s music hit. Young held the championship high as she walked down the ramp. She walked around the ring and only looked away from Pryce to look over at Adams once. She rolled into the ring and got ready for the match.
Gemma Foster: AJ Adams is not a welcomed guest here tonight.
Scott Parker: I can’t really blame Young and Pryce. Especially after how things have gone tonight.
The title was held high as the bell sounded and things got underway. Young and Pryce circled each other before finally locking up. Young pushed Pryce into the corner and put her forearm into Pryce’s face. The referee got them to break before Pryce spun Young into the corner and drove her shoulder into Young’s gut. Pryce took a few steps back and charged and ran into a boot to the face. Young lifted Pryce up and hit a running powerslam into the middle of the ring. Young locked in a sleeper hold but Pryce was able to get to her feet. Pryce spun away from Young and hit a Russian leg sweep. Pryce quickly rolled to her feet and Young was right there with her. The two exchanged lefts and rights until Pryce ducked an incoming shot and hit a reverse DDT. Pryce locked in a standing armbar on Young. Young slowly got to her feet and pulled Pryce in and hit a hip toss.
Scott Parker: Back and forth we go. These two are in a deadlock.
Every time Young tried to pick up the pace, Pryce would try to slow it down holds. Adams sat outside the ring and would clap for both competitors, enjoying the match.
Gemma Foster: And so far, AJ Adams is doing exactly what he said he was going to do. Have the best seat in the house and enjoy a great match.
Young hit a vicious combo as she first hit Pryce with the Stand Alone Complex (Elevated gutbuster). Pryce stood and then was flipped around with the Man-Machine Interface (Discus Clothesline). Young went into a cover and got two but thought it was over. Young was in shock that Pryce kicked out. She pulled her up to her feet but Pryce pushed away and hit the KO Shot (Roundhouse Kick). Pryce pulled Young back to her feet and then hit the Pay the Pryce (Double Knee Facebreaker)! Pryce rolled Young into a cover and got two and a half as Young kicked out just in time!
Scott Parker: FM kicks out just in time!
Now Pryce was in disbelief as she took a second to plan in her head and then pulled Young up. Young speared Pryce into the corner and then tossed her between the ropes and to the floor.
Gemma Foster: Smart move by FM as this is going to allow her time to regroup.
Young didn’t use it to regroup however as she went off the far ropes and went flying over the top rope and took out Pryce! Both competitors were down as the referee started his ten count. Young was up first and grabbed Pryce by her hair and rolled her into the ring. Young started to climb to the top ropes, looking to put things away, but Pryce pushed her footing off and she fell down to the mat. Pryce stalked Young and kept calling for the belt around her waist. She looked for the KO Shot but Young ducked it and the referee took the kick to the face. Young lifted Pryce up and hit her with the Human Error Processor (Assault Driver). She covered but the referee was out. Young checked on him and tried to get him to come to. Young turned in time to see some woman running down the the ring wearing a referee shirt. Young covered and the referee counted. 1-2-and the referee stopped counting. She stood up and tore off her referee shirt to reveal a shirt with the initials “L2N”. Young stood, confused, as the woman grabbed her hand and hit her with a falling boot to the face (Eat Defeat). She rolled out of the ring and grabbed a chair. She got back into the ring and stood beside Young.
Scott Parker: Who is that!? Why is she attacking the champion!?
The woman stomped on Pryce as she waited for Young to stand.
Gemma Foster: And Pryce!
Young got to her feet and just as the mystery woman swung, Young was pushed out of the way by AJ Adams and he took a hard shot to the back. L2N hit Adams again as she swung at Pryce and he protected her. Adams tackled her to the mat and rolled her out of the ring.
Scott Parker: AJ Adams to the rescue!?
Pryce looked down out of the ring at Adams who just made the save and he had the Lights Out (Tazzmission) locked in on the “L2N” woman. Pryce was rolled up with a school boy pin and the original referee was aware enough to count the three count and Pryce kicked out just a moment too late!
WINNER AND STILL EW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: F.M. Young, via pinfall @ 20:11
Young celebrated in the ring as Pryce looked around in anger. Trainers had taken L2N to the back as Adams stood, holding his shoulder. Pryce rolled out of the ring and got in his face but he walked away and climbed into the ring. He handed Young the championship and she took it and held it close. She looked back at Adams as he gave her a clap and left the ring for her to celebrate.
Scott Parker: Young is walking away the winner tonight.
Gemma Foster: But we’re left with questions as to who that was that tried to get involved!
We get a final shot of Young before fading to black.

Johnny Maverick: Because if we aren’t causing the laughter in your heart we’re causing that clicking noise in your jaw.
