Hello everyone.
It's been about 6 months since the last one of these and I wanted to address a few things. Empire Wrestling has 25 shows under our belt now and we've also passed 1 year since our return. These are two great milestones and I have to say thank you to all of you that are here now and to all of those that have been here. It's because of you all that I want to do this. When you all "bring it" and I see how your characters react to what I put out, it makes doing this all worth it. It's a gag in the e-fed community that being a fed-head is a thankless job but all the thanks I need are you being a part of this.
With the cast of characters that we have I believe that we can have one of the best feds out there. We have a solid top card, a great mid-card, and a couple tag teams that are a lot of fun to see.
That being said, I need your help. I know that it starts with me getting shows up as close to the day they're supposed to go up as possible and getting you cards quickly after. One of the reasons I wanted to be bi-weekly is to allow that wiggle room because of how crazy my work schedule can be.
How I need your help.
Things like Aftershock are crucial to Empire Wrestling. They help further storylines, they show reaction to what's happening, and it's your reactions that get me excited to do what I do. It's the e-fed circle of life. I've been very lenient on handlers writing Aftershocks. The rules state characters being placed on LOA's for missing a second Aftershock. While I'm not going to strictly enforce this rule if you're active on things like Twitter or helping with storylines, I do encourage everyone to post an Aftershock reaction.
I will also continue to strive at being better at getting shows up quicker. I will also keep trying to Tweet out advertising for the fed to try and get new people in so you all have more people to work with. I'd love to see our Tag Division grow some more so that it can have a solid core of teams. If you anyone knows of any...
Outside of that, thank you all once again for people here. I see the group we have and have tons of ideas for you all and think they will all be fun. I know of some slow burn things that have been happening and it should be fun when it comes to a head. My inbox and DMs on Twitter are always open! If anyone wants to get more involved with the "day to day operations", things like small GFXs for shows and the boards, writing a match or two each show, or even writing a bi-weekly "show" (interview, ranking, recap, or anything to your hearts desire) let me know. I'd love to get the boards more active each week.
Let's go for another year. And then some.
