Episode #3 - August 4, 2015
Scott Parker: Hello everyone! Welcome to another edition of EW’s Animosity. We have a great show on tap for you tonight!
Alex Wilkie: What a great main event we have scheduled too!
Scott Parker: I agree, Alex. Calypso and Imperious are teaming up to take on Kayla Taylor and Barrett Lynch.
Representative of All
Earlier Tonight
Backstage Kevin Olson stands by with Alexander King "Kaylash" who appears to be busy on his phone.
Kaylash: One sec mate. Just updating BlazenBook. Aaaannnnd done.
Kaylash switches his attention from his phone to Kevin Olson.
Kevin Olson: You ready?
Kaylash: Yep sorted mate. I am one hundred percent yours.
Olson turns to the camera.
Kevin Olson: I'm here with Alexander King, the self proclaimed "Fighting Fanboy". Alexander, we're here just moments before your television debut with Empire Wrestling...how do you feel?
Kaylash: A little unsure of whether I liked the way you said "self proclaimed" but I'll let that slide because to be honest I'm just excited mate. Very excited. This is personal history in the making. It's The Fighting Fanboy versus The Pale Dragon. Alexander vs Drak. Man vs Myth. Me versus ... a man who claims to be a dragon.
Kaylash looks at Kevin Olson and raises an eyebrow.
Kaylash: A dragon Kev.
Olson quickly moves on.
Kevin Olson: There are people out there that might know you and people that might not. What do you have to say to the Empire Wrestling fans? Who is Alexander King? What can they expect?
Kaylash: Kev, I'mma tell you what my "mavva" told me. She said "Kaylash..."
Kevin Olson: So your mother was the one who called you Kaylash?
Kaylash: Was my mum the one who took my initials and them being the same as a Russian assault rifle derived a nickname mimicking the slang term for said weapon? I don't think so mate...do you?
Olson looks a little uncomfortable.
Kaylash: My mum never called me Kaylash but that isn't the point. She said "Alexander my beautiful boy," because I was a good looking kid, she said "if you ever come face to face with and go one on one with a dragon never forget our blessed Patron Saint George. Never forget his bravery, selflessness and his will to fight against the tyranny and torment of the beast. Never forget he did it for the people and so can you.
Kevin Olson: Wow ... they are strong words. Your mother really said that to you?
Kaylash: I highly fakkin doubt it mate. It'd be a stupid thing to say for a start and she'd have to be as batty as the bloke who thinks he's a dragon to think I'll come face to face with one. Mrs. King was a much wiser woman than that but that's not the point.
Olson's look is one of complete confusion.
Kevin Olson: With all due respect Alexander...what is the point exactly?
Kaylash takes a second to think and clicks his fingers like an idea has just come to him.
Kaylash: Exactly the point of my boot connecting with the point of Drak's chin. The point is Drak feels the weight of impressing one child, making one person proud. I'm here to represent all of them, I am one of them. Every fanboy, fangirl, fantrans and fan... dragon. I'm here to fight and tell them when it's shite. Do i hate Drak? No. But we're all here to win and quite frankly I don't give a fuck...sorry Drak The Pale Dragon...I think your...story...sucks.
Kaylash walks off towards the gorilla position.
EW’s Pale Dragon
Drak's music hits as he makes his presence known. Running down the ramp, he greets the EW audience before sliding into the Ring. As the noise winds down and his music stops, Drak motions to an EW technician walking on the outside to toss him a microphone. Drak is about to speak then stops, seemingly overwhelmed by the emotion of this moment. He composes himself and raises the mic again:
Drak: I am Drak, the Pale Dragon. I've fought long and hard to get to this point in my life. I could be at a grander stage but, that's not where I need to be. Not right now. This is where I'm going to make my mark. If and when I leave EW..I want this place to tell stories. About me and what I stood for.
He paces around the Ring for a few moments then continues:
Drak: Like any mythical Dragon from an age long past, I covet a treasure. That treasure is the EW Heavyweight Championship. I will do everything I can to make it mine. To protect it, keep it close, and I'll be damned if anyone is going to take it away from me once I have it. I like to think that I am a decent man but, let me make one thing very clear.
Drak holds the mic closer to his face as his breathing intensifies.
Drak: I am a man that knows exactly what I want and what I will do to get it. I will not sacrifice my beliefs but, I will fight harder than anybody. Alexander King is incredibly skilled, a truly talented individual. There is one thing that he isn't. Me.
He tosses the mic out of the Ring and slaps the mat, building up adrenaline and anticipation as he waits for King's entrance. Drak yells out: "COME ON! BRING IT!" His face twisted into a scowling, furious expression. This was his moment, and he wasn't about to let it pass him by.
King and Drak stood in the center of the ring to start things off for the evening. The bell sounded and the two locked up and Drak was able to power King to his knees with a side headlock. King threw punches into the gut to break the hold. King kicked Drak in the knee and then booted him in the face. Drak hit the mat and then rolled to his feet and speared King into the corner. Drak hit a hard backhand chop on the chest of King that echoed throughout the Warehouse. Drak clotheslined King and hip tossed him into the center of the ring. King rolled to his feet and ducked under Drak and took him down with a chop block. King grabbed Drak by the foot and lifted it, driving Drak’s knee into the mat. King stomped in the inside of Drak’s knee before pulling him to his feet. King landed a hard kick to the knee of Drak and Drak staggered. King charged and was grabbed by the throat and dropped with a chokeslam. King climbed to his feet but was quickly taken down with a spinebuster. Drak pulled King up and was able to deliver the Dragon’s Teeth (Michinoku Driver). Drak rolled King into a cover but was only able to pick up a two count. Drak quickly covered once again and once again got two. King powered to his feet and hit a hard back elbow. King delivered another chop block and started to stomp on the knee of Drak. Drak started to climb to his feet and King grabbed him and rolled him, locking in the 616 (Rolling Kneebar). Drak had no choice but to tap out.
WINNER: Alexander King, via submission 9:39
Scott Parker: Big win for King here tonight.
Alex Wilkie: That is true but Drak really looked good here tonight. It’s great to see young talent like this using EW to really get better.
Scott Parker: Backstage we’re going to have a look in with Jo Young. Jo was one of three EW talents that were on BWF’s Beta Test event last week and she looked impressive.
Alex Wilkie: She really did. She might be going through a rough patch to start things off but she really has a lot of talent. As does her opponent. We saw Sabriynn Cassidy in a dark match before the last Animosity and she looked great.
A Little Fire
The camera pans across a bare concrete wall, then the wall abruptly ends, a corner providing a view into a locker room. The focus adjusts to the distance, and standing against the far wall, facing away from the camera is Mighty Jo Young, dressed and ready for the ring in black lycra shorts and top with gold stars on the sides. She's got her hands on the corner of a sink, staring herself in the mirror. The camera tracks into the room, closing in until the image of her face in the mirror finds focus. We're nearly looking over her shoulder, though the camera keeps most of her body in frame.
Jo Young: Two losses. Where's that put me? Bottom quarter of EW competitors?
She sneers at her own reflection, and almost faster than the viewer can follow, her gloved right fist has struck, is planted next to the mirror image of her face. The glass creaks from the sudden assault
Jo Young: Nahh. You can't believe that, can you sister? You've worked hard, busted your ass, came up to this level.
She laughs, but it doesn't entirely reach her eyes, which are just staring into her reflection, oblivious to the cameraman.
Jo Young: So we work harder, train harder, and put all these pieces together. But honestly? It's been so so tempting to cut loose a little. I like that right? When we can just get a liiiitle......
Her lips open into a toothy grin, the sort of thing one would expect of a movie psychopath.
Jo Young: ...... WILD
More laughing. Her right fist opens, open hand planted on the mirror, partially obscuring the side of her face.
Jo Young: Yep. Can't be all Yin and no Yang. So lets see what we can do, little bird. Let's see if we can step this game up and have some fun! Bring a little fire along with that ice.
She leans in, staring into her own reflected eyes still. Some viewers might note she hasn't blinked in a awfully long time. She presses her forehead to the mirror, face to face with her image. The camera pulls in tight.
Jo Young: Win or lose.... It'll be fun.
Her hands slam onto the concrete on either side of the mirror, and she's gone. The camera wheels, trying to find her again. As the view pans rapidly across concrete wall and blue lockers, there's a long, guttural wail, then a tremendous metallic racket.. fists slamming shut locker doors once, twice.. four.. five times in rapid succession. The camera's view finally makes the entire 180 degrees to the corner the cameraman first entered the room through, but there's nothing but a hallway, and the concrete echo of the wild holler of the woman sprinting down it.. away from the camera.. toward the ring and the fight!
Rockstar
The scene opens backstage where Sabriynn Cassidy is shown waving towards the camera. Cassidy is wearing her plaid ring gear and she is smiling happily towards the camera.
Sabriynn Cassidy: Well hello there Empire Wrestling! It's nice to meet you! Sabriynn Cassidy, I am.
She greets the fans watching with a small wave and a point to herself.
Sabriynn Cassidy: Well, what do I say? I was on the pre-show of the last Animosity and I think the fans and I can all say that I did a wonderful, spectacular, and terrific job! Thank you, thank you!
She bows towards the camera.
Sabriynn Cassidy: Now, why Empire Wrestling? Why the BWF? Why all of this? It's pretty simple, actually. You see, it's wrestlin'! It's the thing all of us have in common! We aren't here just because we were "assigned" to be here, no! We are here because we chose to be here! When I grabbed that pen and wrote my signatures here, there, and there on the application form for EW, I knew that was when my career had just started. Everyone has their little goals, right? Staying healthy, not getting into a car crash on traffic... whatever it is you want to achieve! They are goaaaaals! Well ya' know what? My goal is to one day, walk out on the stage on the show of Havok, look around at the fans and gladly know that I've made it. But first, we've gotta take baby steps! What are those baby steps? To win that EW Heavyweight Championship of course! People ask me this all the time; Hey Cass! Are you ready!? HECK YEAH I'M READY! To prove that I am ready, watch the next episodes of EW Animosity! I'll be appearin' on your TV screens, kicking ass and rocking out like a... like a...
Cameraman: A rockstar?
Sabriynn Cassidy: Yepperooooooo!! A rockstar!
As soon as the bell sounded Cassidy was quick to attack as she rushed Young and connected with a running dropkick. Young rolled to her feet and Cassidy grappled with her and tried to whip Young. Young reversed and drove a knee into the gut of Cassidy. Young grabbed Cassidy from behind and took her down with a back to belly slam and rolled into a headlock. Cassidy was able to slip out of the hold and got to her feet. Young grabbed Cassidy and dropped her with a Russian leg sweep. Young mounted Cassidy and landed a few hard shots before pulling Cassidy to her feet. Cassidy connected with a series of forearms to the head of Young. Cassidy sent Young into the corner. She charged and hit a Young with a corner knee. Young fell to the mat in the corner. Cassidy started to stomp on Young in the corner. Cassidy ran off the far ropes and finished the Mosh Pits (Stomps in corner, followed by running boot to downed opponent). Cassidy pulled Young to the center of the ring and tried to lock in a figure four leg lock but Young kicked her away. Young climbed to her feet and ducked a running forearm from Cassidy and delivered a big German suplex. Cassidy rolled to her feet and staggered into the Young Gun (AA Spinebuster). Young covered Cassidy but only picked up a two count. Young started to pull Cassidy to her feet but Cassidy started to land a couple of punches to the gut. Cassidy ran to the ropes and quickly jumped to the top ropes. Cassidy dove and looked for the Stage Dive (Crossbody) but Young caught her. She lifted Cassidy to her shoulders in a fireman’s carry. Cassidy brought her knee up and turned and was able to connected with a hurricanrana. Cassidy hooked a leg as she looked for a cover but only picked up two. Cassidy climbed to the top ropes and steadied herself. She looked for another hurricanrana but Young caught Cassidy and delivered the Mighty Slam (Batista Bomb). Young rolled onto Cassidy and picked up the win.
WINNER: Mighty Jo Young, via pinfall 10:19
Young leaped to her feet in excitement and started to pump her fists. She pounded her chest as she celebrated her win.
For the People
Earlier Tonight
The maniacal laughter of Billy Way echoes in the secluded scenario as the camera catches him pacing, reminiscing what happened at Animosity #2. Billy then stops pacing and looks directly at the camera, the enigmatic and unpredictable man ready to address to his "people."
Billy Way WOW! What a main event last time on Animosity. The Notch versus Aeolus Wrath. The grizzly lovable veteran that adults love and kids look up to versus the brash, cocky, second generation wrestler that has accomplished a lot in his short career. The hero versus the villain. Old generation versus new generation. Oh the story, the drama, and the tension between these two is captivating. And let's not forget about the actual fight itself. These two gave it all! The old saying blood, sweat, and tears were demonstrated in the great back and forth action. In the end. when it looked like The Notch was going to overcome the odds and hit his finisher on Wrath..BAM! BILLION DOLLAR KICK OUTTA NOWHERE!
Billy shouts out the last line like a commentator marking out before his voice becomes calm again.
Billy Way In the end..there wasn't a winner or a loser. Oh no. In the end, the unknown element was left standing. In the end, I was the only one left standing and posing for the world to see. Now people are wondering why did I attack poor ol' Notch. And the answer is pretty simple..I wanted to create chaos for the sake of entertainment...
A chuckle is heard from Billy Way before he continues his speech.
Billy Way You see, the whole, "lovable veteran vs. cocky youngster"is cliche and quite boring. You even said it yourself Notch, you're tired of people calling you "old" and "washed up" while some young punk disrespect you. Admittedly, I’m guilty of those same actions. However, I spiced up the main event and brought something new to the table, something both you and Aeolus Wrath haven't. My actions are for the sake of the bored fans, tired of your same old crap Notch that you have spewed since the 90s. My action are for the sake of Empire Wrestling, an uprising fed that wants to be known more than just a developmental fed and looking to expand its market. My actions are for the sake of you Notch..Now knowing you, you will probably make a promo before or after this promo about how I'm a weirdo, about how I was a joke in EWS and perhaps a joke to you here in EW. Probably going to tell everyone how I accomplished nothing in my career and talk about the many accomplishments you had in your historical career and how you paved the way for young bucks like me. You're probably going to show up during or after my match against Rose and perhaps attack me from behind for the sake of revenge. And you know what I say, just do it Notch. JUST DO IT. Do what you what's fitting for you Notch. Because in the end..I'm going to keep exposing you as a fraud that you are Notch. I will tear off your mask and expose the truth about you for the world to see. For the sake of entertainment....for the sake of chaos....for the sake of the people. Welcome to the True Way of Entertainment.
And with that, Billy walks away from the camera view.
Billy Way stood in the ring as he watched Rose enter through the ropes. As soon as the bell sounded Way was all over Rose with vicious right hands. He beat her into the ropes and the referee was forced to call a break. Way backed up a few feet as Rose tried to get back to her feet. Way started to whip Rose across the ring but pulled her back at him before hitting her with the Nutcracker (Reverse Atomic Drop). Rose staggered before she was hit with the Billion Dollar Kick (Roundhouse Kick). Rose fell to the mat in a heap as Way stood over her as the fans booed. Way climbed to the top ropes slowly and readied himself. Way dove and connected with the Way of the Future (Shooting Star Leg Drop). Way covered Rose nonchalantly and picked up the win.
WINNER: Billy Way, via pinfall 4:28
Way grabbed Rose by her hair after the match and started to pull her up to her feet. He started to set her up for the Billy Way (Swinging Reverse STO) but dropped her as The Notch started to rush the ring. Notch slid under the ropes and started to brawl with Way as the fans cheered. The two men were separated by referees and pulled to the backstage area.
Ride the Wave
Backstage cameras caught up to Bailey Mayhew.
Bailey Mayhew: I'm not the type of person to say I told you so, so I won't say it. But I do feel great getting that win two weeks ago. I feel on top of the world. Mighty Jo and James Gaines put up a fight, and as promised, I bought the beer. As I said, that win felt great, not only because I did what I said I was going to do, but also because I beat a decorated Tag Team Champion in James Gaines. On the subject of decorated champions, that brings me to my opponent tonight, Derrick Daze. ...I can beat him. After beating a decorated champion and a mighty roommate two weeks ago, I'm on a wave of momentum, and that's not gonna stop tonight. It's as simple as that.
The camera cuts away.
The Best Here
The camera pans to another part of the backstage area where we can see EW’s General Manager Wade Mason sitting at a desk as Destruction INKorporated and 2 Girl Crew seem to be arguing back and forth. The Gaines Brothers can be heard saying they’re “the best tag team in EW” and Cross and Dillon laugh it off.
Wade Mason: Hey…
They continue to talk over Wade as he just watches on for a few moments.
Wade Mason: Alright!
He stands up and gets the attention of the four competitors.
Wade Mason: I get it. You want a chance to say you’re the best team in EW. Someone else recently told me that she could get a partner and that they’d be the best team in EW because they’re already besties. Whatever that means. Give me a week and I’ll weigh all the options and at the next Animosity I’ll tell you and the world how we’re going to determine who is the best tag team in EW. Okay?
The four seem content as the camera cuts away.
The two competitors stood across from each other as the bell sounded to start the match. Daze came in quick and caught Mayhew with a hard knee to the gut. He followed it by flipping Mayhew to her back with a hip toss. Daze locked in a grounded chickenwing on Mayhew. She started to scoot herself over to the ropes but Daze grapevined Mayhew. Mayhew was able to balance her feet and bridge enough to put the shoulders of Daze to the mat, causing him to release the hold to break a pinfall. They both got to their feet and Mayhew caught Daze with a stiff uppercut to the jaw. Mayhew flipped Daze over with a snapmare. He sat up and Mayhew came off the ropes and caught him with a knee to the face. Mayhew covered but only picked up a one and a half as Daze kicked out. Daze powered to his feet and clubbed Mayhew with a left forearm. She staggered and Daze connected with the Voyage (Spinning Unprettier). Daze rolled Mayhew into a cover but only got two. Mayhew rolled out of the ring to regain her composure. Daze went after her but was hit with a kick to the gut as he rolled out of the ring. Mayhew looked for the Lockjaw (Stunner) but Daze pushed her away. She turned and had to quickly duck under the Fall (Running Crane Kick) from Daze. She dove back into the ring and Daze chased after her. Mayhew hit Daze with a baseball slide to keep him out of the ring and he fell backwards and hit the barricade. Mayhew springboarded to the top rope and dove, catching Daze with a flying forearm. Both competitors were down as the referee counted. Mayhew tried to get back into the ring but the bell rang to call for a draw.
DRAW, via double countout 8:11
Mayhew rolled into the ring and Daze jumped to the apron. Mayhew welcomed him back into the ring but Daze jumped down and backed up the ramp saying “another day”.
Get Ready to Hurt
Earlier Tonight
Amidst the bright lights of New York City, we see, underneath one of the many street lights, a homeless man, his back against a dumpster, passed out. The camera moves back a bit to see another figure, under the guise of a hooded windbreaker, gazing out from underneath it, seemingly a shadow on a bench, but as he slowly turns his head, we see the sly, devilish grin of one Aeolus Wrath, closing his eyes, seemingly breathing in the hate, before his eyes shoot open, keen and focused.
Aeolus Wrath: Recently I stood outside the EW ring and watched as the asshole known as Billy Way stole my spotlight, stole my moment to turn the tide and finish what I started with that old, decrepit piece of shit, The Notch, because he wanted attention. Oh, Billy..Billy, Billy, Billy, Be careful what you wish for, because chances are you might just get even more than you hoped for. Nothing will stand in my way of finishing off that fossil and taking what is rightfully mine, the EW World Heavyweight Championship, so go ahead Billy, enjoy yourself, have some fun as you say, because I can assure you, it won’t be fun for long. That’s the thing about attention, it’s not about getting it, it’s what you do when you get there. Don’t choke, Billy.
Aeolus Wrath: It’s funny that I mention attention, because it seems that some vagabond from the past, some relic of days gone by here in BWF has dug herself out of an alcoholic coma to once again grace us with her presence, and the ability to make someone like me nearly vomit. Oh, Kirlia, your vain attempts at gaining the trust, sympathy, and support for the BWF faithful, oh yes, it will work, because those sheep are stupid as fuck and don’t know any better, but that’s why I’m different. Sympathy, Kirlia, it’s for those who deserve it, those who have truly been through some kind of traumatic experience. You? You sobbed yourself to sleep with a bottle of Jack Daniels and half a case of Coors Light in the fridge. What happened to you was self-imposed, Kirlia, and a show of weakness. How can anyone in their right mind feel bad for a complete and total failure? Have we really declined so far in this world that we actually feel sorry for those who consciously choose to slowly kill themselves? Oh, you had the world on a string, didn’t you? It’s too bad if it hasn’t snapped yet, I plan on doing it for you, free of charge.
Wrath slowly pushes his hood back, flashing a sinister grin.
Aeolus Wrath: People want to say that this is a big challenge for me, this is my moment to “prove that I belong.” Really, fuckers? Really? I turned the wrestling world on its head for 408 days, and given the opportunity, I could do it again in MY sleep. I don’t need to beat up some poor girl looking for her sweet redemption song. No, Kirlia, there will be no redemption song for you, just the silence of bitter defeat, and another sound you’re quite familiar with. Hmm, I wonder if someone could hum you a few bars in case you’ve forgotten?
We cut to the homeless man, stirred from his sleep, reaching on the ground and picking up what remains of a bottle of cheap whisky. He unscrews the cap and tosses it aside, downing the remains before belching and then returning to his alcoholic induced slumber.
Aeolus Wrath: Aww, look Kirlia. It’s your lullaby. Get ready to hurt, bitch.
Wrath tosses his hood back up and walks off, stopping by the homeless man, shaking his head with disgust as we fade to black.
Kirlia stood in the ring and waited for Wrath to make his way down the ring but he was nowhere to be seen. The cameras panned to the backstage area and Notch and Billy Way were once again brawling. Way sent Notch into a table full of cups of waters that made a mess as they spilled. Wrath was seen walking into frame and quickly started to throw lefts and rights at Way before driving a knee into the gut of Notch. Wrath walked off and through the curtain and made his way to the ring. The bell sounded to start the match and Kirlia and Wrath locked up. Kirlia tried to end things quickly with a victory roll but Wrath kicked out a little after two. Wrath popped to his feet and ducked under Kirlia’s Pretty Petal (Chick Kick). Wrath dropped Kirlia with a reverse tornado DDT. She started to stand and he looked for Your Anti-Christ (Springboard Roundhouse Kick) but she was able to dodge it. Kirla grabbed Wrath and connected with the Flora Bomb (Sky High) and covered. Wrath was once again able to kick out just after two. He powered up and drove a knee into her gut before hitting a snap DDT. Wrath quickly pulled Kirlia to her feet and sent her into the corner. He charged after her and was able to connect with My Insanity (Miz-style Corner Clothesline). Kirlia staggered forward a few steps before falling to the mat. Wrath slid through the ropes and then climbed to the top ropes. He turned around and hit a high arching moonsault that crashed down hard on Kirlia. He covered but only could pick up a two count. Wrath pulled Kirlia up to her feet and started to set up for the Son of Silence (Canadian Destroyer) but pushed her to the mat as Notch came rushing the ring. Notch was grabbed as he slid into the ring and sent back over the top by Wrath. Wrath turned around and was hit with a stiff kick to the gut by Kirlia. Kirlia grabbed Wrath and followed up with the Bleeding Rose (Sliced Bread #2). She covered Wrath but he put his foot on the ropes just at two. Kirlia started to pull Wrath up and Billy Way rushed after Notch. Notch and Way rolled into the ring and started to brawl and knocked into both Wrath and Kirlia as the referee called for the bell.
NO CONTEST, referee stoppage 12:31
The four competitors continued to brawl before Kirlia ducked out of the ring to avoid any damage. Way caught Wrath with the Billion Dollar Kick. Notch speared Way as referees once again came out and separated the men as the crowd loved it.
See the Darkness
A video package plays before the Main Event. The camera slowly loops through an empty, disheveled room that is laden with a thick coating of dust. A single lightbulb flashes repeatedly, illuminating a metal folding chair below. On the final flash Calypso appears sitting in the chair. His head is slumped forward, greasy black hair hangs loosely in front of his face. The dim lighting creates an eerie effect as the shadow casts his strands of hair dangling back and forth.
Calypso: Let me make myself..abso-lute-ly clear. Mr.Lynch and Miss Taylor have earned every single thing that is coming their way. They brag and they bluster like so many of the sheeple at this place..about all SORTS of things. Working hard to accomplish your goals..believe in thyself and you will be set freeeeeeee..They attempt to MOCK me..still unable to realize what I am capable of.
The light bulb flashes several times again as Calypso has moved directly in front of the Camera.
Calypso: The only thing that will get you anything in this world is power. The acquisition of and execution of power onto those whom are not worthy of having it. I already had power before but now I've got a little help. Imperious' Empire will crush you into a paste. He's a man who knows what he wants just like myself. I want to show the world that Mr.Lynch and Miss Taylor are nothing but, FAKES. LIARS. THIEVES. STEALING WHAT BELONGS TO CALYPSO!! You will all bow to me. The alternative...is to suffer.
Calypso spits on the Camera's lens and begins laughing. Uproarious, joyous, unhinged laughter.
Calypso: On the other hand maybe you'd like that. Give you something nice to write on your twitter accounts. To inspire the masses before you. All the Sheeple that you've herded into your corners. #Workhard am I right? I have a better one for you Miss Taylor. #IQuit. #Pleaseletmego. #Stopthematch! Mr.Lynch..what a man. What a hero! We should all..praise him and his accomplishments! I've got a better idea, why not stop this farce before it continues any further!? You think any of those Sheeple REALLY came to see you? They like the thought of you. They embrace the idea but, when I show them the darkness that lurks beneath that Iron Heart..they'll be crushed..you'll be a failure. Just like anything else you've ever done Mr.Lynch. It will result in failure.
Calypso: Take heed..the both of you. That match can only end one way. You know what way it is..even those 'fans' as you like to call them know what it is. The 3rd Power is Rising my friends. Stand in my way and you will know only pain.
The light bulb burns out as the video package fades out, Calypso's laughter being the only sound heard.
#Relentless
The camera opens up to the backstage area, just outside of the curtain to the entrance of the Warehouse. We see Kevin Olson standing by with Kayla Taylor. He leaned in towards her to ask her a question.
Kevin Olson: Kayla, ever since the first Animosity Calypso seems to have it out for you. You beat him in singles action and ever since he’s been relentless in his assault on you. Is tonight the night that he has your number or are you and your partner ready?
Kayla pats Kevin on the shoulder with a smile.
Kayla Taylor: We’re ready, Kevin. Barrett and I were on our way to having a great match at Animosity #2 before Calypso got involved. I have a lot of respect for a guy like Barrett, not so much for a guy like Calypso.
Kevin Olson: Are you worried at all about Imperious having picked up a win over your partner tonight?
Kayla Taylor: Imperious is a great competitor. I’ve seen the guy toss around some of the trainers here like they’re nothing. He’s not someone to be taken lightly and I won’t. Barrett told me a lot about Imperious and we’re going to be ready for anything they throw at us tonight. You want to see relentless, Kev? Make sure you’re watching because I’ll show you relentless. It’s time to go out there and #workhard!
Lynch walks into frame as the two walk off, ready for the match.
Calypso and Taylor have decided to start for their teams and are all over each other with lefts and rights as the bell sounded. Calypso started to get the better of Taylor as he started to throw hard headbutts. He flipped Taylor into the corner and delivered the Re-Education (Flurry of Punches to Gut). He took a few steps back and charged but ran into a hard back elbow. He staggered backwards and Taylor took him down with a running single leg dropkick. They rolled to their feet and Taylor hit a jawbreaker and followed it with a scoop slam. She tagged out to Lynch and the two hit a double hip toss. Calypso climbed to his feet and caught the charging Lynch with a spinebuster. Calypso tagged out to Imperious who climbed in the ring slowly. Imperious took his time with hard, calculated blows to the gut of Lynch. Imperious grabbed Lynch and delivered a German suplex. He slowly pulled Lynch to his feet and delivered a second German suplex. Imperious looked for a third but Lynch battled out with hard elbows. Lynch hit the ropes and connected with the SCUD Missile (Sick Kick). Lynch tagged out to Taylor. They grabbed Imperious and looked for a double suplex but Imperious shifted his weight and suplexed both Lynch and Taylor. He crawled to his corner and tagged out to Calypso. Calypso came flying off the top rope and hit Taylor with the Embrace Destiny (Diving Crossbody) and covered, however, only getting two as she kicked out. Taylor got to her feet and was sent hard into the corner. Calypso looked for the Baptism (Stinger Splash) but Taylor moved out of the way. Calypso staggered and fell to a knee and Taylor delivered Plan A (Shining Wizard). She covered but only got a two count. She started to pull Calypso to his feet but he jumped up and caught her with a DDT. Both competitors were slow to get to their corners and Taylor tagged to Lynch. Calypso went to make a tag to Imperious but Imperious jumped off the apron and refused the tag. The fans were shocked as Imperious walked up the ramp and to the back, leaving Calypso alone. Calypso realised what just happened and turned around slowly. Lynch clotheslined Calypso and then pulled him back up. He sent Calypso into the corner and tagged to Taylor. Lynch pushed Calypso towards Taylor and she grabbed him, lifted him, and connected with the Redemption (Final Cut). She rolled him into a cover and picked up the win for her team.
WINNERS: Kayla Taylor and Barrett Lynch, via pinfall 14:52
Taylor celebrated as she jumped to the second turnbuckle for a few moments as Calypso rolled out of the ring. She jumped to the mat and the referee raised the arms of Taylor and Lynch.
Alex Wilkie: Where the Hell did Imperious go?
Scott Parker: I guess he decided that he didn’t want to help Calypso anymore.
Alex Wilkie: Well I guess it IS Imperious’ Empire and not the other way around.
Scott Parker: Maybe we’ll find out soon! Thanks for tuning in folks. We’ll see you next time on EW Animosity!
We get a final shot of Taylor and Lynch in the ring.

Alex Wilkie: What a great main event we have scheduled too!
Scott Parker: I agree, Alex. Calypso and Imperious are teaming up to take on Kayla Taylor and Barrett Lynch.
