King of the Mountain Match
Primetime Championship
Talia Areano [c] Vs. Josh Goldstein Vs. Alicia Monroe Vs. Kaito Hirano Vs. AJ Adams
With all the competitors having made their way down to the ring we were all set for the first match of the night. All five competitors took a moment to look above the ring at the championship.
Gemma Foster: Remember folks, a competitors must first score a pinfall to be eligible to climb a ladder to claim the championship.
Hirano surprised Monroe with a big tornado kick as the action started and the competitors started to exchange blows. Monroe was stunned and dropped to a knee which allowed Hirano to roll her up with a crucifix pin to get a three count!
ELIGIBLE: Kaito Hirano
Scott Parker: Kaito just shocked everyone in the ring by quickly scoring a pinfall. They’ll all now have to try and get their own pinfall AND make sure Kaito doesn’t climb the ladder!
Hirano rolled out of the ring to strategize as the action in the ring continued. Goldstein and Areano are in one corner exchanging blows while Adams and Monroe are engaged in a series of headlocks and wrist locks. Hirano was on the outside looking up at the prize and pulled a ladder out from under the ring. Adams had dumped Monroe through the ropes and was now working with Goldstein to work down Areano. Areano started to battle back but was sent into the ropes. Goldstein and Adams were hit with a double dropkick and Areano popped up to her feet. Areano turned her attention to the outside and dove over the top ropes and took out Monroe and Hirano! Areano was fired up as she rolled Hirano into the ring and climbed to the apron. Hirano stood and was taken down with a slingshot DDT from Areano. Areano got to her feet and Goldstein took her down with the Hannukanrana (Reverse Hurricanrana). Goldstein looked for a cover but Monroe pulled him off. Monroe tossed Goldstein to the outside and went into a cover but Areano kicked out at two. Hirano brought a ladder into the ring and leveled Adams with it. He turned and rammed it into the gut of Monroe before setting it up in the corner. Goldstein approached Hirano and was backdropped onto the ladder! Hirano turned into Areano who grabbed him and used the ladder in the corner to hit Slice of Heaven (Sliced Bread 2)! Areano covered and got a three count.
ELIGIBLE: Talia Areano
Areano quickly set up the ladder and tried to climb it but Adams grabbed her by her foot. She tried to kick him away but he pulled her off the ladder and into the Last Call (Codebreaker)!
Gemma Foster: Last Call off the ladder!
Adams stood and was clotheslined over the top ropes by Goldstein. Goldstein pounced onto Areano and picked up a pinfall.
ELIGIBLE: Josh Goldstein
Monroe came off the top of the ladder with White Lightning (Moonsault) onto Areano! Monroe picked up a pinfall!
ELIGIBLE: Alicia Monroe
Goldstein had started to climb the ladder but was met on the other side by Hirano. Hirano grabbed Goldstein and started to connect with a series of headbutts. Hirano tried to pull Goldstein over the ladder with a suplex but couldn’t get it. Monroe climbed the ladder behind Goldstein and took him down with a neckbreaker off the ladder! Adams was back in the ring and pulled Hirano off the ladder and pulled him into position and hit the Legacy Maker (Sister Abigail)! Areano was trying to climb the ladder as Adams picked up a pinfall on Hirano.
ELIGIBLE: AJ Adams
Gemma Foster: Everyone is eligible now! It’s a race to the top of the ladder!
Adams quickly reached out and grabbed Areano. Goldstein climbed the other side of the ladder. Goldstein flipped over the top rope with a sunset flip powerbomb onto Areano! Monroe grabbed Adams and tried to her Freebird (Running Bulldog) but he pushed her away. She spun around and walked into the Last Call! Adams dumped Hirano over the top and he scrambled up the ladder. Goldstein started to climb the other side but was pushed off by Adams. Adams grabbed the Primetime Championship and yanked it down!
WINNER AND NEW PRIMETIME CHAMPION: AJ Adams @ 17:31
Gemma Foster: AJ has done it!
Adams throws the title above his head in celebration as the fans roar in cheers. Goldstein sat up and scratched his head as he looked up at Adams. Areano was now on the outside and grabbed a chair as if she were about to go on the attack but tossed it away.
Scott Parker: Congratulations to AJ Adams. The new Primetime Champion.
Rule Number One of Hell
“You really can’t tell me what happened on Monday?”
A smartphone on speaker mode sits on a simple coffee table. Wrapping white tape around her left wrist and her hand between her fingers and thumb, Chelsea Pryce sits up on the couch. There’s a faraway look in her jade-green eyes.
Chelsea Pryce: What is spoken in Hell stays in Hell.
“Come on, mom. You can’t be serious…”
It’s clear now that Rosalyn Fernandes is on the phone. Tearing off the last part of the tape with her teeth and right hand, Chelsea sighs softly and sets the roll of tape on the table.
Chelsea Pryce: I’m very serious, Rosalyn. Johnny and I have been sworn to secrecy. We’re not going to break our word with Lucifer.
It’s the name of the Devil. Chelsea glances up and notices the camera with a scoff.
Chelsea Pryce: We’ll talk later, sweetie. It’s almost time for the Ice Queen to take back her place on top of the mountain… and you need to get some sleep while Leonardo’s taking care of Izabella.
Rosalyn Fernandes: “Alright… Take care of yourself, mom. Say hi to Johnny for us.”
Chelsea Pryce: I will.
After a moment, her daughter ends the call. Chelsea looks at the tape on her wrists and hands, comparing them, and sighs. The tape on her left hand and wrist is a little less organized.
Chelsea Pryce: It’s hard when you’re left-handed…
Rising to her feet, she walks out of the shared locker room of the Glorious Bastards, turns off the lights, and closes the door. The camera watches her head towards ringside with a single purpose:
To take back what the Ice Queen believes is rightfully hers. The Empire World Championship.
Tag Team Championship Match
Glorious Bastards (Johnny/Ollie Maverick) [c] Vs. Ragnarok (Frost/Wulfsson) Vs. Midnight Special (Cherry/Carbine) Vs. Spectres (Young/Rouse)
The second the bell rings for the Tag Team Battle Royale, all four teams attack one another without hesitation. As they are the Empire Tag Champions, Glorious Bastards are targeted first. However, chaos ensues when The Spectres attempt to eliminate Johnny and Ollie. Midnight Special seem to believe it should be their right to take out the champions, battling with Rouse and Young. Josh targets Riley, while Harvey takes on Mighty Jo.
Ragnarok looks to take advantage of the distraction, opposing the Glorious Bastards. But the Maverick Brothers refuse to quit and fight back. After knocking Karli Frost down, Johnny and Ollie isolate Fenryr Wulfsson with “The Bastardplex”. While Johnny and Ollie turn their attention to Karli, Mighty Jo and Riley are actually fighting Midnight Special. Riley even manages to hit “Bored Now!” on Josh. However, this only encourages Harvey to fight harder, hitting Mighty Jo with “Chimera”. In their chaos, Ollie hits Karli with the “360 No-Scope!”, and Johnny sends her over the top rope!
Scott Parker: Ragnarok has been eliminated!
Gemma Foster: Fenryr doesn’t look happy about it, but there’s nothing he can do.
With a frustrated growl, Fenryr moves out to check on Karli. As he helps his tag partner up the ramp, Johnny and Ollie turn their attention to Midnight Special and The Spectres. Johnny sees the suplex challenge in Harvey and goes toe-to-toe with him. Mighty Joe has recovered and she looks for “Caught Up” on Josh, but he moves out of the way and she spears Ollie instead. Ollie falls onto the mat in a heap. After landing an exploder suplex on Josh, Johnny looks up to try and help his younger brother. However, Josh catches him with “Cherry’s Jubilee”. Riley nails a running dropkick on Josh, sending him away for a moment. She takes advantage of the stunned Glorious Bastards, seizes Johnny, and sends him over the top rope and out of the ring!
Gemma Foster: T-the Empire Tag Champions have been eliminated!
Scott Parker: With Glorious Bastards out, we’re going to have new champions tonight!
As soon as he’s able, Ollie checks on Johnny who’s just as shocked as he is. The Maverick Brothers look at the ring before reluctantly leaving. Now that it’s down to The Spectres and Midnight Special, the battle royale becomes a normal tag-team match. Harvey stays in for his team; Riley stays in for hers. The former Empire Tag Champion takes the fight to Harvey, looking to keep up with her speed advantage. Chaining together forearm and shin strikes, Riley catches Harvey with “Gotcha!” After a few shots, however, Harvey knocks Riley off. She tries to Irish whip him towards the ropes, but when he comes back, Harvey catches her with a spinebuster counter. A quick pin attempt is kicked out of, nothing discouraging. He wears Riley down a little, isolating her from Mighty Jo as Harvey tags in Josh. Josh antagonizes Riley with a double foot stomp followed by a tequila sunrise suplex, bridging it for a pin attempt.
Fortunately for Riley, Mighty Jo breaks it up. Hissing at her, Josh tangles up with Mighty Jo before the referee forces Jo back to her corner. Midnight Special continues to isolate Riley, tagging back and forth and trapping her in their corner. Somehow she’s able to fight her way out, hitting a double DDT on Josh and Harvey. With some struggle, she tags in Jo who looks to wear down Josh the legal man. She even hits him with “Young Gun” and covers him. Alas, Harvey breaks up the count. Now a fight breaks out between the four wrestlers, the Spectres and Midnight Special unleashing their furies. Unfortunately for the ladies, Josh and Harvey manage to knock Riley out of the ring. They focus their attention on Jo, who tries her best to fight the duo. Her best effort is just not enough; Josh and Harvey nail Jo with “Minutes to Midnight” and Josh goes for the cover. One - Two -- Three!
WINNERS AND NEW EW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: Midnight Special via pinfall @ 17:05
Scott Parker: Unbelievable! Midnight Special has done it.
Gemma Foster: They’re leaving Next Level: Ascension as the Empire Tag Team Champions.
Calling an Audible
We cut to the backstage area where we see Lacy Nelson sitting in the hallway grabbing her ankle. Trainers are checking on her as she seems to be in pain. EW Management Liaison Sara Logan approached the scene.
Sara Logan: Lacy, what happened?
Lacy Nelson: I tripped over those cords and twisted my ankle. I don’t think I can go tonight.
The trainers continued to attend to Nelson as Logan walked a few steps away and pulled out her cell phone for a call.
Sara Logan: Yeah. Looks like we’re going to have to call our audible.
EW Extreme Championship
Samantha Hamilton [c] Vs. Austin Scott
Scott made his way to the ring and paced around as he waited for Hamilton. She made her way down to the ring and we quickly got underway. Scott quickly went in for the attack as she rolled into the ring, not letting her get to her feet.
Scott Parker: Scott is NOT a fan of Hamilton.
He pulled her to her feet and sent her into a corner. Scott connected with a big corner splash and walked around the ring. He hit the ropes and on the return Hamilton delivered a spear! She rolled out of the ring and quickly went looking under it. She pulled out her trusty sledgehammer and climbed back into the ring. She went for a shot to the head of Scott but he ducked it. She turned around and was lifted up and driven into the mat with a spinebuster. Scott pulled Hamilton to her feet and pulled her into the corner. He jumped and sat on the second rope and lifted her from behind with a dragon sleeper. Hamilton kicked as Scott lifted her off the ground. He then flipped forward into a blockbuster. Scott rolled Hamilton into a cover but she kicked out at two. Scott rolled out of the ring and tossed in a steel chair.
Gemma Foster: Austin Scott grabbing some equalizers.
He then tossed in the top of a trash can, the trash can, a kendo stick, and another chair. Scott also took a few moments to set up a table on the outside. He rolled into the ring and wedged the chair between the second and third tuckbuckles. Hamilton tried to walk up behind him but she took an elbow to the face. Scott grabbed the trash can lid and swung but Hamilton ducked it and lifted him up and down with a belly to back suplex. Scott rolled to his knees and took a running knee to the face. Hamilton pulled Scott back to his feet and used the sledgehammer to lock in her Exiled To Tartarus (Sleeper Hold). Scott struggled and fell to a knee as the referee checked on him but he stayed alert. He started to slip but he rolled himself forward to try and break the hold but Hamilton pulled him right back up and kept the hold in. Scott was able to get Hamilton onto his back. He drove her into a corner and it forced her to break the hold.
Gemma Foster: Great ring awareness by Austin Scott.
The camera shows us Allen Chaney standing backstage watching the match on a monitor.
Scott Parker: Allen Chaney intently watching this match.
Scott used a few moments to clear his head before locked in a side headlock. Hamilton pushed him away and he hit the ropes and speared her through the ropes and through the table on the return! The two were slow to start to get up as the crowd was cheering on the action. Scott grabbed Hamilton and rolled her into the ring. He crawled in and was hit with a basement dropkick! Hamilton rolled Scott into a cover and he kicked out at two. Hamilton quickly looked for the Wrath Of The Titans (Pedigree) but Scott hit a backdrop. He lifted her onto his shoulder and hit the Booze Cruisin' (Oklahoma Slam) onto the trash can! Scott hooked a leg and went for a cover and Hamilton kicked out at two!
Gemma Foster: Austin Scott thought he had it!
Scott got into the face of the referee thinking it was three. He eventually turned back to Hamilton and she rolled him up with a small package but he quickly popped up to his feet. Hamilton showed off her power as she lifted Scott up with the Zeus's Wrath (One Winged Angel)! Both competitors were down as the referee checked on them both. Hamilton slowly started to crawl to Scott and put her arm across him for a cover, getting two.
Scott Parker: If Sam had been able to hook the legs this thing might be over.
The fans cheered on Hamilton as she pulled herself up using the ropes. She grabbed the trash can lid and clocked Scott in the head as she started to stand. Hamilton looked for a rollup pin but Scott kicked out at the last moment. The two were both up and Scott fell into the corner. Hamilton charged and looked for a spear and Scott jumped over her and she went headfirst into the chair! Hamilton crashed and burned and Scott grabbed her from behind and hit the Law and Order (Pumphandle Slam)!
Scott fell onto Hamilton and the referee counted the pinfall!
WINNER AND NEW EW EXTREME CHAMPION: Austin Scott via pinfall @ 18:11
Gemma Foster: I don’t believe it!
The fans booed as Scott was helped up by the referee and handed the championship. Scott got one last stomp on Hamilton for good measure as he held the title in her face, standing over her. She started to stir and Scott walked away from her before she could react.
The Governor Called
Casey Grey and Alicia Monroe walk through the back. The two chat with each other, but when they round a corner they run into Ragnarok, being led by Rune Sigidottir. The five of them stare at each other, and when Karli steps forward towards Casey who steps forward to meet her, Rune grabs Karli’s shoulder. Karli and Casey stop inches from each other, but Karli takes a slow step backwards.
Rune Sigidottir: Not now.
Rune guides Karli away. Fenryr walks after her, leaving Rune alone with Casey and Alicia.
Rune Sigidottir: The two of you have been granted a stay of execution. While you will both surely be dealt with, it won’t be tonight. Everything is on hold and will proceed when I’m ready.
Casey Grey: You can’t—
Rune walks away. Alicia looks at Casey.
Alicia Monroe: What the hell is on hold?
Casey Grey: I don’t know. She’s crazy.
Alicia walks away, but Casey lingers, looking towards where Rune walked away. Alicia calls from off-screen, and Casey hurries to join her.

Scott Parker: Who could it be?
Gemma Foster: I can’t even begin to guess.
The arena went berserk as they were introduced to David Blazenwing.
Scott Parker: I don’t believe it!
Blazenwing made his way to the ring as he soaked in the fans. He rolled into the ring as Casey Grey made her way out next. She looked down at Blazenwing and rushed the ring, sliding in and stretched. FM Young was out next to a big pop from the fans. She threw a few punches at the top of the ramp before heading down. Chelsea Pryce was the next one out to her own pop. Pryce had a smile on her face that quickly turned sour as she was making her way down the music for Daniel Daemon hit. Pryce rolled into the ring and stood in a corner as Daemon stood on the stage. He received massive boos from the crowd as he held up the EW World Championship.
Gemma Foster: This is it, Scott. The Emperor of Empire is here and he’s never been more unstoppable as he has been in recent months.
Scott Parker: This might be the best chance that anyone has to dethrone the Emperor. He doesn’t have to be pinned the lose the championship here tonight.
Daemon stood in the middle of the ring with the other four competitors each standing in a corner. He pointed out to the ladder set up on the outside of the ring and then said something to the competitors. The referee took the championship and it slowly rose above the ring. The bell sounded and things were at a standstill.
Scott Parker: Everyone is waiting for someone to make the first move.
Daemon turned to Pryce and was attacked from behind by Grey and Young. They backed Daemon into a corner and landed blow after blow. Daemon pushed them both away but was hit with a corner splash from Blazenwing. Blazenwing threw an arm up in the air as he stood in the ring but was quickly rocked with a big boot from Daemon. Daemon turned and was hit with a running forearm from Pryce. Pryce hit the ropes again and hit a second forearm to the face. Daemon staggered into the ropes but took Pryce down with a shoulder block. Grey looked for a dropkick on Daemon but he swatted her away.
Gemma Foster: Daemon is unstoppable right now!
He lifted Grey off the mat with ease and delivered a gutwrench suplex. Young came charging at Daemon and was hit with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. He lifted her and hit a tilt-a-whirl powerbomb. Daemon roared as he stood up and pounded his chest.

Blazenwing ducked a wild clothesline from Daemon and hit the ropes. He clobbered Daemon with a running forearm. Daemon started to sit up but Pryce hit him with a sliding forearm to the face. Daemon started to roll over and get to a knee. Just as he stood he was driven to the mat with a spear from Grey! Young came off the ropes with the Negasonic Warhead (Starship Pain)! Daemon was still starting to stir and stumbled to his feet, right into a KO Shot (Roundhouse Kick) from Pryce!
Gemma Foster: Daemon is down!
Daemon hit the mat as the fans cheered and he rolled out of the ring. This allowed the other four competitors to start to fight between them. Grey and Blazenwing exchanged strikes as Young and Pryce struggled to gain the upper hand in a corner. Pryce was taken down to the mat with a tackle and Young landed a series of blows. Grey came flying at Blazenwing and hit a running knee strike to the face. Young pulled Pryce up and sent her towards Grey who hit a flapjack.

ELIGIBLE: Chelsea Pryce
Daemon had slid a ladder into the ring and took the time to set up a couple tables side by side on the outside of the ring closest to the ramp. He then slid a table into the ring, along with a chair.

He tried to take Daemon down for the Firehawk Lock (Crippler Crossface) but Daemon stayed on a knee, holding himself in place. Pryce stood and Nelson rocked her with a superkick! Nelson was fired up as she started yelling at the referee and tried to set up the ladder.
Gemma Foster: I think Lacy is trying to invoke her contract!
She turned to confirm with the referee and Blazenwing was there with the Full Effect!
Scott Parker: I think Dave just said no!
Blazenwing started to climb the ladder as the fans went nuts. Blazenwing had a hand on the prize but Daemon shook the ladder, causing him to grab the top of the ladder to balance himself. Daemon climbed the ladder and grabbed Blazenwing by the throat.
Gemma Foster: Don’t do it!
Daemon chokeslammed Blazenwing off the ladder and through the table in the ring! Daemon reached up and pulled the championship down to retain!

He rolled into the ring and wedged the chair between the second and third tuckbuckles. Hamilton tried to walk up behind him but she took an elbow to the face. Scott grabbed the trash can lid and swung but Hamilton ducked it and lifted him up and down with a belly to back suplex. Scott rolled to his knees and took a running knee to the face. Hamilton pulled Scott back to his feet and used the sledgehammer to lock in her Exiled To Tartarus (Sleeper Hold).

The arena went berserk as they were introduced to David Blazenwing.

He received massive boos from the crowd as he held up the EW World Championship.

Blazenwing rolled out of the ring and thanked the trainer as he seemed okay. Nelson sat against the announcers table and shook her head at Blazenwing.
Gemma Foster: The Emperor of Empire is still the World Champion.
We get shot of Pryce rubbing her jaw and looking out at Nelson and then over to Daemon as she sat in a corner before we get one final look at Daemon with the championship.
