Superstar History: Joshua Goldstein always felt like he was born in the wrong era. He worshipped the superheroic wrestlers of the 1980's and despite his lack of muscle he always clung to the dream of bringing 80's wrestling back to the world. He was hired by the developmental wrestling territory Empire Wrestling and began training under former BWF and REBEL Pro World Champion Johnny Maverick where he met another student, 'Prince of Pleasure' Ronnie North. Joshua earned the respect of Johnny for his impressive resilience and was given his blessing to pursue his wrestling dreams as 'Radicalliance '85' with Ronnie. Josh was teased in his youth for being Jewish so he carries his heritage into battle with pride. He and Ronnie became the tag champions in IPW before it closed it's doors and had a couple successful defenses. He also has a pomeranian named 'The Metaphor' or 'Phorry' for short who often appears in promos with him.
After Ronnie North injured himself on the set of one of his films, Joshua decided to fly solo as The Jew Blazer, claiming 2017 is the year he wins his first singles title. he fulfilled this prophecy by winning the New Gen Title (later the Five Lakes Title) and defending it against the likes of Jack Tillman, giving Jack his first clean loss. Soon after The Blazer lost the title to Jack and became despondent, dropping the Jew Blazer name entirely and wrestling under his real name In this time Joshua attacked Jack backstage, swore, and interfered in a match to give someone else a win breaking his code of Honor. It was not until an intervention by the Guardians after Josh cheated to win a match against Jessica Nitoh that Josh decided to make a change. Josh has chosen to combine the hopefulness and humor of the Jew Blazer with the gritty determination and 'never say die' attitude of Josh Goldstein and now wrestles as 'The Jew Blazer' Josh Goldstein. Josh briefly retired after the closing of NGW but the call of the ring coming from his own New York backyard was too strong and now he is returning to make it on his own as a singles wrestler despite his reputation as a tag team specialist. Always upbeat, positive, and willing to take on any foe the Jew Blazer has come a long way since his days of being perceived as a ‘joke’ and has stated that by the end of 2019 he will have captured his first World Championship.
