Next Level: Ascension - September 29, 2015
The show opens up with a video highlighting the journey of EW up until tonight’s event. Some of the highlights start with seeing Notch, Wrath, and Way all fighting at the very first EW event. We then see M.J. Young picking up her first win over Cassidy before flashing over to see King and Lynch brawling back and forth. We’re shown various other events throughout EW Animosity events. Billy Way is then shown hitting people with the Billion Dollar Kick before we cut to see the EW Heavyweight Championship sitting on display and flashing to the arena.
Scott Parker: Welcome to EW’s Next Level Ascension! As always I am Scott Parker and beside me once again is Gemma Foster. We’re live here in the EW Warehouse and we’re set for EW’s first “supercard” event.
Gemma Foster: I can’t express how excited I am for tonight, Scott. What a show we have lined up!
Scott Parker: I think many in the backstage would agree with you. Tonight is a special night for EW as we’ll crown the very first Tag Team Champions and by the end of the night we’ll also have the first EW Heavyweight Champion!
Gemma Foster: How do you even pick a favorite to walk out of the main event with the championship? Each competitor is bringing something to the ring that could very well put them over the top and give them the chance walk out the winner.
Scott Parker: The same could be said for the Tag Team Championship. Each team competing tonight has what it takes to go the distance. Six of the twelve competitors just competed last night at BWFF’s Retribution event as well and all were there for the event. They’ll have to rely on teamwork if they want to make the dream work!
Returning the Favor
Earlier Tonight
Earlier this evening a cameraman and Kevin Olsen caught up with Bailey Mayhew as she entered the Warehouse.
Kevin Olson: Bailey, can we get your thoughts on Alex Richards attacking you two weeks ago?
Bailey Mayhew: Alex Richards should be in jail, he attacked me after the event was over. Instead of putting the man behind bars, Wade Mason instead makes a match. You know what? Sure. That's fine. But what was Alex's reasoning? I was in the wrong place at the wrong time? What does that even mean? It makes no sense at all. He said it could have been anybody... but it wasn't just anybody. My whole thing here is that I'm not trying to be just like anybody. I've said it before, I'm looking to be not just another wrestler. And so here's my personal message to Alex Richards: Your reasoning for attacking me doesn't make sense, so make some sense out of this: I'm gonna mess you up. What goes around comes around, and tonight, all the fans aren't gonna witness just another Bailey Mayhew match. Tonight, Alex Richards will be "in the wrong place at the wrong time" as he gets to be the first person to experience a different side of Bailey Mayhew. And hey, Alex, it won't matter, because "it could have been anybody." I hope YOU'RE ready to meet YOUR fate.
The Rebuild
The camera switches live to see Alex Richards in the ring as he’s ready for his match that’s about to start. He holds a microphone and seems to have a bit to say before things get underway.
Alex Richards: I'm sure there’s a lot of questions buzzing around everyone's heads isn't there? I am sure everyone is wondering why I am in EW and why did I truly attack Bailey instead of coming into this company normally.
Alex begins to laugh and smile.
Alex Richards: It's pretty simple the reason why I am in EW, it’s to rebuild my career here. You see I used to be on the main roster a long time ago and because management didn't want me offer me a fair shake I left. Everybody knew I was the next big thing BWF. It was set in stone that will would be World Champion. I was the fresh breath of air for the BWF talent. But management didn't like how I did things so now I am in EW to rebuild that broken run and start at the bottom and reclaim glory here!
We hear the crowd booing at Alex Richards. But all Alex could do was smile.
Alex Richards: See I love the atmosphere around this place. It will make more fitting when I move up roster like an hurricane! But I'm sure a lot of people are wondering why did I attack someone from behind to make my debut?
Alex laughs again.
Alex Richards: You guys are freaking morons. The reason why did that was to make an impact I wanted everyone to know that I am not here to let some half-assed talent shine brighter than "The Great Alex Richards" I plan on being the fastest rising superstar in EW and will claim the EW Heavyweight Championship before it gets tainted by unwanted talent and the first person I will devour on the EW roster will be Bailey Mayhew!
Mayhew and Richards waste little time coming to blows as Mayhew is fired up from Richards’ actions on Animosity. Mayhew landed a few hard European uppercuts Richards grappled with her. Richards connected with a spinning belly to belly slam that drove Mayhew to the mat. Richards began to pull Mayhew to her feet and applied a side headlock. Mayhew broke it by pushing him away but was dropped with a shoulder block. Mayhew rolled to her feet and ducked an incoming running forearm and dropped Richards with a neckbreaker. Mayhew popped up to her feet and locked in a single leg crab. Richards struggled but was able to make his way to the ropes to break the hold.
Gemma Foster: Mayhew is starting to get into her groove here in EW. She could really be a great competitor within the BWF community.
Mayhew went to grabbed Richards but he drove an elbow into her gut. He started to set up for the Welcome to Detroit (Double Underhook Backbreaker) but Mayhew reversed into a northern lights suplex. Mayhew pulled Richards up and quickly pulled him in and delivered the Into the Sunset (Asai DDT). Mayhew began to climb to the top ropes as she’s ready to hit the Not Just Another Frog Splash but Richards was alert enough to roll out of the ring. He mouthed off towards Gemma Foster and Scott Parker and started to walk towards the back as he waved off Mayhew.
Scott Parker: I’m pretty sure he just told us he didn’t have time for this.
Gemma Foster: That’s right. He must feel like he’s too good to be in this match tonight by the looks of it.
The referee counted Richards out as he disappeared into the back and Mayhew just shrugged. She jumped out of the ring and quickly went towards the back.
Gemma Foster: I hope Mayhew goes after Richards and gives him a fist full.
WINNER: Bailey Mayhew, via countout 9:24
Scott Parker: This is the match we were supposed to get on the last Animosity.
Gemma Foster: If 2 Girl Crew walks out this time they won’t be competing tonight for the EW Tag Team Titles.
Young and Dillon were going to start things off for the match and Young had been dying to get her hands on Dillon. Young lifted Dillon up and drove her into the mat with a scoop slam. Dillon got back to her feet quickly and speared Young to the mat. She grabbed Young by her hair and started to slam her head against the mat. The referee came over and forced Dillon to break and let go of Young’s hair. She finally did so after receiving a warning and backed up to her corner. Dillon and Cross made a tag and Cross climbed into the ring. Cross grabbed Young and locked in a sleeper hold. Young tried to make it to her corner but Cross kicked the back of Young’s knee to make her fall to her other knee. Young reached back and hit a snapmare to break the hold. Young made the tag to Rouse and Rouse jumped into the ring, ready to go. Rouse clotheslined Cross as she stood and then pulled her right back up. Rouse grabbed Cross and delivered a running bulldog. Rouse was pumped up and started to measure up Cross but was grabbed from the outside by Dillon. Dillon dropped to the floor and drove Rouse’s throat into the ropes. It caused her to stagger and turn around where Cross delivered the O.F.M.J. (Stiff open hand slap followed by stiff uraken to the face). Cross rolled Rouse into a cover as she dropped. One… two and a kickout.
Gemma Foster: Rouse is on the ropes here. Cross’ experience is coming into play.
Rouse used the ropes to pull herself up. Cross grabbed Rouse and to set her up in a straight jacket hold but Rouse began to fight out. Rouse drove Cross to the mat with a Russian legsweep. Rouse pulled Cross to her feet and connected with a perfect Sonic Screwdriver (Swinging Neckbreaker). Rouse made the tag Young and Young climbed in. Cross had started to get to her feet and quickly jumped and connected with a spiking DDT. Cross crawled over to her corner and made the tag to Dillon. Dillon was ready for Young and Young got up slowly. Dillon looked for the Eyes of Texas (Sweet Chin Music) but Young caught her foot. Young lifted Dillon and drove her hard into the mat with the Young Gun (AA Spinebuster) and covered. One… two… three!
WINNERS: The Spectres, via pinfall 10:22
Gemma Foster: Rouse and Young did it! I don’t think Cross was even ready for Young to make the cover on Dillon.
Scott Parker: The Spectres are moving on to the championship match after a big win.
The crowd popped for The Haters as they were introduced from Queens, New York. DeLuca had a microphone in hand and was ready to spread some “hate” to the crowd. Dominic Salvatore walked alongside DeLuca before they both stopped at the middle of the ramp. Before DeLuca could begin to speak they were attacked from behind by the 3rd Power and the fans booed. Tartarus grabbed Salvatore and first tossed him against the barricade. He grabbed Salvatore by the throat and connected with a chokeslam on the steel ramp. DeLuca had been hit from behind and rolled into the ring by Calypso as this was going on. Calypso began to assault DeLuca as the referee quickly started the match. DeLuca stumbled to his feet and was leveled with To the 3rd Power (Clothesline) from Calypso. He dropped to his knees and covered DeLuca. One… two… three!
WINNERS: The 3rd Power, via pinfall 1:09
Scott Parker: Talk about uncalled for!
Gemma Foster: Calypso just showed that he isn’t here to play games, Scott. The 3rd Power is gunning for the Tag Team Titles.
Calypso rolled out of the ring as he met back up with Tartarus and they went towards the back.
The fans were split on who to root for as the match was about to get underway as each team had its vocal supporters. It looked like we were going to get Taylor and Korey to start things off as they met in the middle of the ring. The two locked up to get the match started and Korey tried sending Taylor into the ropes but she started to reverse and ducked under as she pulled him close. Taylor started to look for a neckbreaker but was hit with a hard elbow to the side of the head before Korey tripped her up before mounting with a series of lefts and rights. He popped to his feet and jumped up as he dropped his leg across the head of Taylor. Korey pulled Taylor to her feet and lifted her for a perfectly executed suplex. He got to his feet and made the tag to his brother. James entered the ring and lifted Taylor up for a side slam but dropped her on his neck for a backbreaker. Korey came jumping off the middle rope as Taylor was draped across the knee of James and connected with a leg drop. The brothers high fived in the ring as James turned his attention back to Taylor.
Scott Parker: James and Korey are on a level of communication that you can only attain by being family.
Gemma Foster: There is that unspoken bond.
James pulled Taylor to her feet and delivered a fallaway slam. Taylor started to crawl to her corner as Williams cheered her on but James pulled her back to the center of the ring. James positioned Taylor for a powerbomb and drove her into the mat. He lifted her up without breaking and looked for a second powerbomb. Taylor landed a hard right hand to James to stagger him. She flipped backwards and landed on her feet. James fell to a knee as Taylor landed a hard kick to his gut. She followed it with Stamp It Out (Avada Kedavra) and fell to the mat after. Both competitors made it to their corner for hot tags and Williams and Korey met in the middle of the ring. Williams was able to connect and lock in the Revertigo (Tilt-A-While Armbar) and had Korey dead to rights in the center of the ring. James grabbed his brother’s hand from the outside and pulled him to the ropes to break the hold. Williams pulled Korey up and delivered the Last Breath (Swinging Inverted DDT) and covered. One… two and James broke it up by stomping on Williams. He pulled her up and delivered a spinebuster before being forced out of the ring. Korey made the tag to James and Williams tagged out to Taylor. Taylor looked for a superkick but James ducked it. He picked Taylor up with a gorilla press and Korey tagged the back of his brother and climbed to the top ropes. He dove and hit a cutter to finish the Getting Tatted and covered as James kept Williams away. One… two… three!
WINNERS: Destruction INKorporated, via pinfall 11:34
Gemma Foster: What a match between these two teams!
Scott Parker: I think the experience of teaming together for such a long time really helped the Gaines’ here tonight.
Gemma Foster: I wouldn’t take anything away from the Freaks though. Williams and Taylor have a promising road ahead of them.
Taylor sat up and just shook her head in disappointment as the Gaines Brothers celebrated. Williams was able to get to Taylor and checked on her as they shared a brief hug. They got to their feet and both James and Korey offered a handshake which was accepted by Taylor and Williams.
Scott Parker: Class act by these two teams here tonight.
Sharma and Cassidy were in the ring and they shared a quick word and “good luck” before we began. They locked up early on and we saw a beautiful exchange of mat based chain holds. Cassidy locked in a grounded sleeper but Sharma was able to slip out and pulled Cassidy into a wrist lock. Sharma hit a belly to back suplex with the wrist lock applied and rolled onto Cassidy with an armbar. Cassidy had to quickly make it to the ropes and slid out of the ring, shaking her arm. She climbed back in and the two locked back up. This time Cassidy got the upperhand as she drove her knee into the gut of Sharma. Cassidy followed that up with a bridging tiger suplex in the middle of the ring for a pin. One… two and a kickout. Sharma rolled to her feet but was taken down with an arm drag. She climbed back up and walked right into a dropkick from Cassidy. Cassidy pulled Sharma up to her feet and locked in a full nelson. Cassidy was flipped over Sharma as she leaned forward and landed on her feet. She spun around and Sharma jumped up and delivered a headscissors takedown that got the crowd to pop.
Gemma Foster: A great execution there by Sharma.
Sharma was to her feet and Cassidy was up shortly after her. Sharma looked for a forearm but it was blocked by Cassidy which allowed her to hit one right back. Cassidy grabbed Sharma and delivered the Hyperplex (Brainbuster). Cassidy and Sharma were both down and the crowd started to get behind them. They were both to their knees and they exchanged a few lefts and rights. Cassidy was to her feet and hit the ropes. She charged back and looked for the Cassi-Knee (Running High Knee Strike) but Sharma dodged with a roll. Sharma springboarded off the ropes and connected with the Snake Charmer (Springboard DDT). She rolled Cassidy into a cover. One… two… three!
WINNER: Niva Sharma, via pinfall 9:53
Scott Parker: A good looking win by Niva Sharma here tonight. Sabriynn looked great too.
Gemma Foster: Once again we see two competitors with bright EW futures put on a really good match. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two.
The fans were ready for this match and a possible conclusion of this rivalry but things were not as exciting as they had planned. As Lynch began to make his way to the ring he was attacked by King. King rolled Lynch into the ring and searched under the ring and found a steel chair. He entered the ring and leveled Lynch with it. He started to hammer Lynch’s knee with the chair over and over as the fans watched on in shock. The referee tried to pull King away but was shoved to the mat. Lynch was pulled to his feet as King then locked in the 616 (Rolling Kneebar). Lynch was in pain as he tapped over and over and King refused to break the hold. Referees eventually pulled King off Lynch as trainers rushed the ring to check on him. King wiped his mouth and exited the ring as if nothing happened.
Scott Parker: What in the world was that?
Gemma Foster: I think Alexander King just sent a message to everyone in the back that he isn’t a pushover.
It appeared that Young, James, and Calypso were going to start things off for their teams as the EW Tag Team Championship was shown off to the crowd by the referee before being handed off to ringside. All of the teams had their eyes on the prize as the bell sounded to start the match. Young and James worked together early to attack Calypso which was approved by the fans. They got him backed into the free corner and hammered him with lefts and rights. Young backed up and James whipped Calypso at her which allowed her to drop Calypso with the Young Gun (AA Spinebuster). Young got back to her feet and had to quickly try and block a few incoming blows from James. Young and James went back and forth with hard strikes before Young dodged one and dropped him with a neckbreaker. Young applied an arm wrench to the grounded James but was quickly dropped as she was hit with a running forearm by Calypso. Calypso hit an European uppercut before following it up with a powerslam. He made the tag to Tartarus and James tried to quickly attack the big man. Tartarus just shoved James to the mat and then dropped him with a big boot as James began to stand. Tartarus grabbed Young and tossed her with ease across the ring with a hip toss. Calypso let out his laugh as Tartarus went over to James and pulled him up. Tartarus looked for the chokeslam but James slipped out and landed a kick to the gut of Tartarus. James then hit a back elbow that just staggered Tartarus. Young hit the ropes and was able to take the big man down with Caught Up (Spear)! Young tagged out to Rouse as James tagged out to Korey. Rouse hit an elbow drop to the fallen Tartarus and turned her attention to Korey. Korey drove a knee into her gut and hit a sitout suplex.
Scott Parker: I can’t tell who has the upperhand at this point.
Gemma Foster: I’d say things are pretty even but I would worry about Tartarus.
Tartarus was back to his feet and grabbed Korey by his throat. Rouse was up and was soon grabbed by their throat. Tartarus was setting up for a double chokeslam but Korey and Rouse each landed a kick to his gut. Rouse and Korey teamed up and lifted the big man for a flapjack! Rouse rolled to her feet first and grabbed Korey and quickly delivered the Sonic Screwdriver (Swinging Neckbreaker). Rouse tagged out to Young and they started to pull Korey up. Korey tried to fight back with lefts and rights and dove to his corner to make a tag to James. James entered the ring and ducked a clothesline from Rouse and grabbed them from behind before delivered an atomic drop. Young charged James and looked for the Caught Up but James jumped over her. Young turned around, confused, and was hit with Get Him Some Ink (3D) by James and Korey! James went for a cover but Calypso had been tagged in and he broke it up quickly. Calypso hit a flurry of punches to James and backed him into a corner. He stepped back and charged before hitting the Baptism (Stinger Splash). Calypso turned and charged before delivering To the 3rd Power (Clothesline) to Young. He rolled her into a cover… One… two and a kickout.
Gemma Foster: Young kicking out on instinct there.
Young was pulled to her feet by Calypso but Calypso was hit from behind with a forearm to the back of his head by James. James delivered a flapjack as he spun Calypso around. James went to make a tag to Korey but Tartarus pulled Korey off the apron. Tartarus grabbed Korey by his throat and dropped him on the floor with a chokeslam!
Scott Parker: Tartarus just took Korey right out of this thing!
James turned around and was hit with the To the 3rd Power from Calypso. Young had tagged out to Rouse and Rouse was in the ring. Rouse grabbed Calypso and delivered Dodecahedron (SOS) as the fans popped. Rouse saw James starting to get to his feet and she looked for Bored Now (Trouble in Paradise) but James ducked! He looked for the flapjack and Rouse tagged to Young on her way down. Young entered and grabbed James and delivered the Mighty Slam (Batista Bomb). Rouse dropped Tartarus as he entered the ring with the Dodecahedron and Calypso was trying to get into the ring from the outside. One… two… three!
WINNERS AND NEW EW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: The Spectres, via pinfall 16:31
The crowd popped as Young jumped up and down in celebration. Rouse came over and the two hugged as they were handed the titles. They held them high as Calypso and Tartarus began to leave, shouting it wasn’t over. The Gaines Brothers lifted the arms of Young and Rouse out of respect and left the ring.
Scott Parker: What a moment here in EW!
Gemma Foster: It’s so great, Scott.
Scott Parker: As the Spectres celebrate let us take a moment to go over the rules for the main event for those that may not be familiar with them. The first ever EW Heavyweight Championship match is set to take place in a King of the Mountain match. There will be a referee on the outside of the ring carrying the championship around. The goal is to become eligible and take the title from the referee, scale a ladder, and hang the championship on the hook that is 15 feet above the ring. To become eligible a superstar must first capture a pinfall or submission over any of the other competitors. There’s no limit on how many competitors can be eligible at one time.
Gemma Foster: I can’t wait!
Each competitor made their way to the ring and once they all were, we were given the major introductions of each. There was a lot of tension in the ring as the referee showed off the championship before things got underway. He exited the ring and made his way over to the timekeeper. The bell sounded and at first no one budged. It wasn’t long though before Wrath hit Notch with a hard kick to the side and the ring became a warzone. All five competitors began to brawl and we could see Daze hammering Kirlia with right hands. He hit her with an open handed throat chop before wrangling her into a wristlock. Wrath was going back and forth with Notch as Way just stood in a corner clapping. Notch grabbed Wrath and delivered a tornado DDT and rolled to his feet. He turned to Way and began to charge. Way ducked out of the ring to the apron and struck Notch with a forearm. Notch staggered towards the now standing Wrath, grouped near Kirlia and Daze. Way springboarded into the ring and took them all out with the Feel This (Corkscrew Flying Forearm)! Way tried to cover Wrath… One… two and a kickout. Way jumped onto Notch next. One.. and a kickout. Before he could try to cover Daze he was grabbed by Kirlia. Kirlia landed a hard kick to the back to Way’s knees and followed it with a hard superkick to his jaw.
Gemma Foster: That’ll shut Way up!
Kirlia was grabbed by Wrath and Wrath delivered a reverse DDT. She started to stagger to her feet and he springboared off the ropes and went backwards, dropping her with the Aeoshocker (Springboard RKO)! He rolled Kirlia into a cover… One… two… three!
Scott Parker: And Aeolus Wrath is eligible!
Eligible: Aeolus Wrath
Wrath quickly rolled out of the ring but before he could grab the title from the referee he was grabbed and rolled into the ring by Notch. Notch climbed into the ring and hit a standing dropkick to Wrath as he stood. Daze was in the ring working on Way at the same with as he applied an armbar. Kirlia was getting to her feet and Wrath was sent her way by Notch. Kirlia caught him with the Pretty Petal (Chick Kick) that got a cheer from the fans. Kirlia tried to grab Notch and he flowed behind her and hit a belly to back suplex. He stood and looked around the Warehouse, excited. He spelled out NOTCH and hit the West Sider (Leg Drop) as the fans cheered. Daze made his way over to Notch and grabbed him from behind and delivered the Voyage (Spinning Unprettier). He rolled Notch into a cover. One… two… three!
Eligible: Derrick Daze
Scott Parker: That’s two that are now eligible!
Way was to his feet and hit Daze with the Billion Dollar Kick (Roundhouse Kick) as he stood! Way was fired up and the fans all booed him. He turned around and was grabbed by Kirlia and she delivered the Bleeding Rose (Sliced Bread #2). The fans all cheered as Kirlia started to crawl to Way for a cover. One… two… three!
Eligible: Kirlia Gardevoir
Notch was getting back to his feet slowly as Kirlia tried to exit the ring and he grabbed her foot. He pulled her to the center of the ring and she looked for an enziguri but he ducked her. Notch spun Kirlia around and landed a hard kick to the gut before hitting the N Factor (X-Factor). Notch rolled Kirlia over for the cover. One… two… three!
Eligible: The Notch
Scott Parker: Here we go folks! The only person left to become eligible is Billy Way.
Gemma Foster: The name of the game is about the change.
Wrath was on the outside of the ring and had grabbed the title from the referee and admired it for a few moments. He put it on the apron as he looked for a ladder under the ring. He pulled one out and slid it into the ring. Notch grabbed the ladder and began to set it up in the middle of the ring as Wrath entered. He blasted Notch with the title and began his climb. Way was there and pulled Wrath off the ladder and hit him with the Nutcracker (Reverse Atomic Drop) as he pulled him down. Daze was up and Way hit him with the Billion Dollar Kick! Kirlia was up and then dropped with the BDK! Wrath had staggered back to his feet and then hit with the BDK! Way was fired up as he looked at the carnage. He started to climb the ladder as he looked down at the competitors.
Gemma Foster: What is Billy doing? He isn’t eligible and he doesn’t have the title.
Scott Parker: I think this is about chaos for entertainment, Gemma.
Way was at the top of the ladder and stood on the top rung, looking down at Wrath. Way leaped off the top of the ladder and came crashing down with the Way of the Future (Shooting Star Leg Drop)! The fans went crazy at the high risk as Way draped himself across Wrath. One… two… three!
Eligible: Billy Way
Scott Parker: I can’t believe what we just saw! Billy Way putting everything on the line to inflict some chaos in this match.
Gemma Foster: I’m not sure I’ve ever seen something like that, Scott. Now we’re at the point where anyone can put the title on that hook and walk away the champion.
Daze was the first to his feet and he grabbed the title. He started to slowly make his way to the ladder but Kirlia was up and she tried to grab the title and we had a tug of war on our hands. Kirlia let go of the title and Daze fell into the ropes and came back at her before getting dropped with the Pretty Petal. Wrath had somehow found the strength to stand and started to set Kirlia up for a powerbomb. She lifted him up and over the top ropes and he crashed all the way to the floor. She grabbed the title and looked at the ladder.
Gemma Foster: Kirlia is about to do it! She’s going to climb the ladder and get back her life!
She started to climb the ladder but Way was going up the other side. They met at the top and Way landed lefts and rights as Kirlia did all she could to hold onto the title. Way grabbed Kirlia and slammed her head into the top of the ladder. Way grabbed her again delivered The Billy Way (Swinging Reverse STO) from the top of the ladder! Notch was at the base of the ladder and grabbed the title that Kirlia had dropped. He made his way up slowly as the fans were cheering. Wrath was getting to his feet on the outside and tried to pull himself into the ring. Way inched his way back towards the ladder as Notch was at the top. He reached up and hung the title on the hook!
WINNER AND NEW EW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: The Notch, via championship hang 25:21
Gemma Foster: Notch did it!
Scott Parker: Ladies and gentlemen, The Notch is the first ever EW Heavyweight Champion!
Notch slid down the ladder after pulling the title back off the hook and fell backwards with it on his chest. He clinched it tight as he was filled with emotion. The fans gave the competitors a standing ovation. Notch climbed to his feet and held the title high as confetti fell from the rafters.
Scott Parker: What a journey for this man. The Notch has made his way back to the top of the mountain and by doing so he’s capture the EW Heavyweight Championship.
We get a final shot of The Notch looking at the championship belt before we fade away.

Earlier Tonight
Earlier this evening a cameraman and Kevin Olsen caught up with Bailey Mayhew as she entered the Warehouse.
