Next Level: Revolution - April 17, 2020
Scott Parker:Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Next Level: Revolution! Every championship will be on the line tonight in what should be an action packed event. It was one year ago today that Daniel Daemon ended the night by defeating Chelsea Pryce and capturing the World Championship. It’s been a year long reign for the Emperor of the Empire. Tonight he’ll face one of eight competitors and we’ll find out who it is in tonight’s first match. Tonight is also a little different once again as I’m here solo and the Warehouse is empty. While you’re at home we hope that we can entertain you, if even for the evening.
Scott Parker: Brighton Fischer, Kaito Hirano, Allen Chaney, the newly signed Enforcer, Karli Frost, Sunshine Warrior, Kayla Taylor, and Lacy Nelson are ready to compete! This is going to be simple, folks. Be the last competitor standing and go on to tonight’s main event and face Daniel Daemon for the World Championship.
The eight all stood in the ring as the bell sounded. Everyone started to look around the ring and met in the middle of the ring and came to blows. Hirano caught Chaney in the head with a roundhouse kick that staggered him into the corner. Frost grabbed Taylor and tried to toss her over the ropes but Taylor held on. Warrior caught Hirano with the Crepuscular Ray (Springboard clothesline). Warrior turned right into a superkick from Nelson.
Scott Parker: The action is fast and furious to start things off. Everyone trying to hit high impact moves to take down the other to make it easy for elimination.
Enforcer had Hirano lifted and slammed him down with a big powerslam. He popped up to his feet and pounded his chest before rocking Taylor with a spear. Chaney came running over and hit Hirano with Makin Pancakes (Running Senton). Taylor was trying to get Frost up and over the top ropes but she was holding on tight. Warrior came over and lifted Taylor up feet first and it sent her over the top and to the floor below!
Eliminated: Kayla Taylor
Scott Parker: Sunshine Warrior with the first elimination of the night as he surprises Kayla Taylor.
Enforcer grabbed Warrior from behind and hit a snap dragon suplex. Fischer came off the second rope and caught Enforcer with a hurricanrana. Enforcer climbed to his feet and charged at Fischer and she ducked as Frost pulled down the top rope and Enforcer went over the top to the apron. Frost grabbed Enforcer and hit a stunner and he went to the floor below.
Eliminated: Enforcer
Scott Parker: And there goes Enforcer! Hold up!
Chaney hit a double clothesline on Frost and Fischer and sent them over the top and to the apron. Chaney hit a back elbow to the face on Fischer and she started to fall but grabbed the middle rope and fell to a knee. Frost tried to pull Chaney over the top but he hit her with a headbutt to break free. Chaney staggered and Frost climbed to the top rope in the corner before flying off and hitting the AMRAAM (Missile Dropkick). Hirano grabbed Chaney and pulled him up and sent him over the top but he held on and stayed on the apron. Frost popped up to her feet and was hit with a superkick from Nelson. Fischer had Frost in her sights and connected with a Spinning Back Elbow followed by Rolling Elbow that sent her over the top and to the floor.
Eliminated: Karli Frost
Chaney had fought his way back into the ring and hit Hirano with the Set-up (Double Arm DDT). Warrior came flying out of nowhere with a springboard crossbody onto Chaney. Warrior rolled to his feet and was hit with Le Gasp (Lungblower Backbreaker) from Nelson. He staggered forward and near the ropes. Chaney was up and viciously clotheslined him over the top and to the floor!
Eliminated: Sunshine Warrior II
Scott Parker: We’re down to the final four. Hirano, Nelson, Chaney, and Fischer. One of these superstars will take on Daniel Daemon later tonight.
Chaney ducked a tornado kick from Hirano and hit him with a German suplex. Chaney rolled to his feet and met Fischer with a swinging neckbreaker. Chaney was fired up and dodged a superkick from Nelson. He hit a kick to the gut and Nelson fell to a knee. Chaney looked for the Aristocrats (Curb Stomp) but she moved out of the way. Hirano came charging at Chaney but was hit with a back drop over the top and he landed on the apron. Nelson stepped up and hit him with a superkick and he fell to the floor!
Eliminated: Kaito Hirano
Chaney lifted Nelson over the top and to the apron. She started to fight back and landed a hard forearm to the face before an elbow to the side of the head that staggered Chaney. Nelson was getting ready to try and springboard into the ring and someone grabbed her by the boot.
Scott Parker: What in the hell!?
The masked, hooded figure that has pestered Nelson came out from under the ring and hand a hand on the boot of Nelson, holding her in place. Nelson tried to kick them off but Chaney knocked her off the apron!
Scott Parker: We’re down to two but we’re getting a brawl at ringside!
The hooded figure and Nelson were exchanging blows before they hit Nelson with a headbutt. She fell backward as the lights went out and came back up and the hooded figure was gone. Nelson was visibly upset as the referees ushered her to the back. Chaney and Fischer were standing across from each other and charged before coming to blows. Chaney quickly tried to send Fischer up and over the top but she flipped backward and speared Chaney into the corner. She pulled Chaney out of the corner with a ripcord knee strike! Chaney staggered but delivered a bionic elbow. Fischer staggered and Chaney hit a big dropkick that sent Fischer into the corner. Chaney charged and Fischer was able to lift Chaney up to the apron. Chaney grabbed Fischer and pulled her over the top to the apron and both teetered. Chaney hit a hard headbutt but Fischer held on to the rope. She jumped up with a vicious knee strike to the head. Chaney started to slip but he held onto the ropes. Fischer hit a superkick and Chaney fell to the floor!
Scott Parker: Brighton Fischer has earned a World Championship opportunity here tonight!
Fischer sat on the apron and held her hands up in celebration. Chaney sat up and pulled himself up with the barricade before heading to the back. Fischer looked down and nodded and jumped down.
Scott Parker: That was the easy part for Brighton. In the main event tonight she’ll face the toughest challenge in her young career by far. A date with the Emperor for the World Championship.
Scott Parker: In an interesting pairing, Dave Blazenwing and Luke Mathews are set to challenge for the Tag Team Championship tonight. Midnight Special have only been pinned once since stepping foot in Empire Wrestling. They, along with Ben Macbeth, are EMBLEM. Midnight Special set their sights on AJ Adams early on which then brought in Macbeth who took out AJ and became Primetime Champion. This brought in Outlaw, who was planning a return to take on AJ Adams, so he set his sights on Ben Macbeth. Macbeth sent Cherry and Carbine to take out Outlaw who recently got help from Blazenwing. After taking Outlaw out before their tag team match two weeks ago, Blazenwing got help from Luke Mathews. Now we have our tag match and Outlaw and Macbeth will finally face off later on tonight.
Blazenwing came out to the stage with a smile on his face and looked into the camera. He winked and pulled off his trench coat and tossed it away. He rolled into the ring and started to adjust his elbow and knee pads. Luke Mathews came out next in his leather jacket and a black tee with “Mr. LFG” in white letting. He jogged to the ring and met Blazenwing with a handshake as he started to get ready. Midnight Special walked out in unison with the Tag Team Championships on their shoulders.
Scott Parker: Cherry and Carbine have been dominant since coming to Empire Wrestling. They look to continue that here tonight against two highly decorated vets of the industry.
Cherry and Carbine climbed into the ring and started talking to each other before charging Mathews and Blazenwing and started to land hard shots. The referee grabbed the titles and handed them off and tried to get the match under control. Cherry hit Blazenwing with a stiff lariat that put him in the corner. Carbine sent Mathews into the ropes and on the return was hit with a crossbody! Mathews popped back up and grabbed Cherry by the throat as he was looking for a Chokebuster (Chokeslam lift to kneeling spinebuster) but Cherry spun away midair. Blazenwing ran the ropes and hit Cherry with a spear!
Scott Parker: The back and forth right off the bat here.
The referee finally got Blazenwing out of the ring and then Cherry. Carbine and Mathews locked up and Carbine hit a hard chop to the chest. Mathews retaliated with one of his own but Carbine came right back with another chop and then an uppercut. Carbine flowed right into an atomic drop that he followed up with a stiff clothesline. Carbine made a tag to Cherry and the duo lifted Mathews up. They lifted Mathews up and down with a double flapjack. Mathews hit the mat and started to crawl to his corner but Cherry grabbed him by the leg and pulled him to the center of the ring. Cherry locked in a single leg crab to Mathews who started to fight. He started to crawl to the ropes and Cherry walked him back to the center of the ring. Blazenwing cheered his partner on and Mathews got to a knee and was able to spin around and kick Cherry off. Mathews got to his feet but Cherry quickly took him down with a chop block. Cherry tagged out to Carbine and they once again pulled Mathews up.
Scott Parker: Midnight Special showing why they’re the best tag team in Empire Wrestling right now.
Carbine got behind Mathews and locked up as Cherry hit the Cherry’s Jubilee (Jump Stalling Sidekick), which Carbine then hit a bridging German suplex for a pin. Blazenwing was able to break it up at one as he had seen enough. He landed a hard right to Cherry as Carbine got to his feet and the referee pushed Blazenwing into his corner. This allowed Carbine and Cherry to stomp on Mathews as Blazenwing got out of the ring. The referee got Cherry out of the ring next and Carbine slowly pulled Mathews up as he jawed at Blazenwing. Mathews spun and hit a big discus elbow strike to the face of Carbine. Mathews pulled Carbine in and delivered a DDT next and collapsed to the mat.
Scott Parker: Both men down and making their way to their individual corners.
Cherry was tagged in and here came Blazenwing off a tag as well. The two met in the middle of the ring and exchanged lefts and rights before Blazenwing tired locking in a crossface chickenwing. Cherry struggled free for a moment before Blazenwing connected with an inverted DDT. Carbine looked to attack Blazenwing but Mathews was there with a spinning heel kick. Blazenwing grabbed Cherry and Mathews grabbed Carbine. Blazenwing went on to hit a trifecta of German suplexes and Mathews hit the Northern Trio (Three consecutive Northern Lights Suplexes).
Scott Parker: Dave and Luke might have the champions on the ropes.
Cherry slowly got to his feet and he was lifted up onto the shoulders of Blazenwing. Blazenwing looked for a Death Valley Driver and connected before rolling right into the Firehawk Lock (Crippler Crossface). Cherry refused to tap and tried to get to the ropes. Carbine, on the outside of the ring, pulled Cherry to the ropes and then just right out of the ring. Blazenwing made a tag and Mathews climbed into the ring and went for an over the top rope suicide dive but was blasted in the face with a big forearm by both Cherry and Carbine.
Scott Parker: Crash and burn!
Blazenwing rolled out of the ring and hit Cherry with the Full Effect (Superkick)! Blazenwing rolled Cherry into the ring before Carbine tackled him into the barricade. He lifted Blazenwing up and dropped him back first into the barricade. Mathews had climbed into the ring and locked in the Luke Lock (Garga-No Escape). Cherry struggled and Carbine broke up the hold with a chairshot to Mathews as the referee called for the bell!
Scott Parker: Oh come on!
Carbine landed a second blow as he drove the chair into the side of Mathews. Blazenwing rolled into the ring with a chair of his own and swung at Carbine but he rolled out of the ring. Cherry started to get up and Mathews tossed him over the top rope and Carbine caught his partner. They were handed the championship belts and held them up.
Scott Parker: Dave and Luke might be walking out winners but as you can see the titles will go back to Midnight Special.
Blazenwing and Mathews leaned over the ropes as we went to the back.
Beaten
We got a shot of the backstage area of the Warehouse where Lacy Nelson was collecting her things. A couple stagehands walked by and she gave them a small smile and wave, bumping elbows with them. She grabbed her bag and let out a big sigh before leaving the area. She eyed the exit and made her way to it. Lacy went to push the door open as it swung open before her and in stepped the World Champion, Daniel Daemon. She stopped as he adjusted his tie and looked down at her.
Daniel Daemon: Leaving so soon? I was informed you lost your match on my way in. Pity. I was looking forward to ending you.
Lacy just scoffed at him as she shouldered him and walked through him.
Lacy Nelson: If you make it out as champion tonight, I’ll see you next week.
Daniel Daemon: Maybe you should ask if you can use that briefcase for a shot at another championship.
Lacy stopped for a moment before walking through the exit and the door closed behind her. Daniel held out his bag as someone took it and he kept walking.
Scott Parker: Steel chairs will be legal in the next bout as the Extreme Championship is on the line. Austin Scott oddly handpicked to defend the title against Josh Goldstein tonight as he has called him out for weeks and helped him win the opportunity for the match. However, I’m being told that Goldstein is backstage right now.
The camera cuts to the backstage area with Goldstein in his street clothes. He’s talking to the liaison between EW Management and the roster, Sara Logan.
Josh Goldstein: Sorry but I’m not cleared to wrestle. It happened over in Hybrid so I’ll be out for a little bit.
Sara Logan: Oh, Josh. Not to sound selfish but I wish you had told us sooner!
Josh Goldstein: I really thought I’d be able to put on the cape and go out but I just can’t.
Sara Logan: Hey, you!
Logan calls over one of the stagehands.
Sara Logan: Mr. Goldstein can’t compete tonight so go find me Sunshine Warrior and Kayla Taylor. They competed against Mr. Goldstein for the opportunity for the Extreme Championship match, it’s only right they compete.
Josh Goldstein: Wait. It should be my guy here. My replacement should be the guy that just outlasted those two in a battle royal and my personal pick to take my opportunity.
The camera pans over to see Allen Chaney sitting nearby.
Josh Goldstein: My guy Allen.
Sara Logan: That’s okay with me if it’s okay with you, Mr. Chaney. You were runner up earlier tonight and impressed in the battle royal.
Chaney smiled and stood up, still in his gear from earlier.
Allen Chaney: Thanks for the setup, Josh. I’ll finish the punchline.
Scott Parker: You heard it, folks! Allen Chaney is going to be competing for the second time tonight after an incredible performance earlier.
Allen Chaney came walking out to the ring drinking a bottle of water and dumped the rest on his head.
Scott Parker: Chaney basically took a breather and is right back out here. That’s something that the champion will look to exploit.
Chaney went right to the apron and started to toss a few things into the ring that included a chair, a trash can, and a kendo stick. He stopped and rolled into the ring as Austin Scott’s music hit and "Kick It in the Sticks" by Brantley Gilbert played. Scott clearly wasn’t happy as he stood on the stage and looked down at Chaney.
Scott Parker: These two met back in November and it went to a draw as neither could answer the count of ten. Chaney delivered the Set Up from the top rope, to the outside, through a table.
Scott held the Extreme Championship out towards Chaney before charging the ring. He dropped the championship and slid into the ring. He popped right up and charged Chaney. Scott looked for a clothesline but Chaney ducked it and ran the ropes. The two met in the middle of the ring with a double clothesline and they staggered. Chaney hit a hard chop to the chest but Scott returned with a hard left hand and an uppercut. Scott sent Chaney into the ropes and looked for a spinebuster but Chaney countered by driving Scott face first into his knee. Chaney grabbed Scott and looked for a gutwrench powerbomb but Scott got free and countered with a backdrop. Scott opened the chair up and sat it in the middle of the ring. He grabbed Chaney and looked for a DDT onto the opened chair but Chaney hit Scott with hard right hands and broke free. Chaney looked for a swinging neckbreaker but Scott kept swinging and countered into a neckbreaker of his own.
Scott Parker: Austin Scott is really trying to stay on top of Allen Chaney but Chaney keeps finding ways to battle back.
Chaney got to his feet and Scott rocked him with Straight Whiskey (Running lariat). Scott covered and only got two as Chaney kicked out. Chaney used the ropes to help himself up and pulled them down as Scott charged, sending him over the top. Chaney rolled over and grabbed the lid to the trash can and smashed it over the head of Scott as he started to enter the ring. Chaney had Scott hanging off the second ropes and hit a rope hang version of the Set Up (Double Arm DDT). Chaney pulled Scott away from the ropes and covered but Scott kicked out at two. Chaney got to his feet and grabbed the kendo stick and cracked it over the back of Scott as he started to stand. A second shot echoed throughout the empty Warehouse. Chaney delivered a third shot as Scott got to his feet. Scott moved away and Chaney used the kendo stick to help deliver a Russian leg sweep.
Scott Parker: Lots of fight in Allen Chaney! He’s taking it to the champion now!
Chaney pulled Scott to his feet and sent him into the corner so hard he hit and dropped into the corner. Chaney ran to the other side of the ring and charged with a corner cannonball! Chaney pulled Scott to the middle of the ring and to his feet. He started to lift him up and delivered the Punchline (Package Piledriver)! Chaney covered and thought he had the match won but Scott kicked out just before three!
Scott Parker: I don’t believe it! I’m not sure if Chaney was able to hook the legs in the cover or he might have had the match won there.
Chaney stalked Scott and as he started to stand he looked for the Aristocrats (Curb Stomp) but Scott moved out of the way. Scott hit an inverted atomic drop before setting Chaney up in a pumphandle position. He eyed the chair still open and lifted Chaney up and delivered Law and Order (Pumphandle Slam) onto the open chair! Scott pulled Chaney into a cover and put his forearm across his face for a cover and Chaney kicked out.
Scott Parker: No! Allen Chaney says no! Austin Scott got cocky with his pin attempt and it cost him there.
Scott started to slowly pull Chaney up and lifted him onto his shoulder. He had him in position for the Ace in the Hole (Rikishi Driver).
Scott Parker: This is it, folks.
Chaney slipped off the shoulder of Scott and hit a desperation spinning back elbow that caught Scott right in the temple and cut him above the eye. Scott started to bleed but fought to his feet. Scott looked for Straight Whiskey again but Chaney ducked it and then caught him with a powerslam. Scott stumbled to his feet and walked right into the Set Up! Chaney looked at Scott and then to the turnbuckle. He then saw the trash can and placed it on top of the body of Scott and started to climb to the top rope.
Scott Parker: What is Allen thinking here?
Scott was still down and Chaney was in position and delivered the WTFFFF (Watch the Funny Fat Fuck Fly) (Moonsault)! Chaney crushed the trash can between himself and Scott and was clearly in pain as well. He came right up to his knees and then his feet as he fell backwards into the corner. Scott was gasping for air and was coughing as he rolled to his knees which allowed Chaney to hit the Aristocrats! He rolled Scott over and covered as the referee counted the three count!
Scott Parker: Allen Chaney is the new Extreme Champion!
Chaney rolled to the ropes and was handed the Extreme Championship as he chuckled and held it to his head and then rolled out of the ring. He dropped to a knee and took another look at his title and raised it up. Scott was checked on by the referee who was handing him a towel for the cut on his eye. He looked up with a bloody face and looked around in a daze as we cut away.
Scott Parker: It’s time for the Primetime Championship match! Outlaw is finally getting his match with Ben Macbeth. Can Outlaw do what no one else has been able to do and defeat Macbeth?
Outlaw came out to the stage and adjusted his wristbands before making his way to the ring. He sat on the apron facing the stage and just waited. Ben Macbeth made his way out to the stage in a long jacket. He opened it to reveal the Primetime Championship and dropped the jacket behind him. Outlaw rolled into the ring and readied himself, waiting. Macbeth handed off the championship to the ring announcer and rolled into the ring. The match was announced and the bell sounded. Outlaw and Macbeth circled each other and locked up for a moment before pushing off.
Scott Parker: Outlaw and Macbeth feeling each other out to start things off. Outlaw came to Empire Wrestling to take the Primetime Championship from AJ Adams but it’ll be just as rewarding if he can beat the unbeatable Macbeth.
Outlaw pulled Macbeth into a side headlock but Macbeth pushed him away. Macbeth caught Outlaw with a running forearm before running the ropes and hitting a springboard lariat. Macbeth popped right up to his feet and Outlaw rolled forward and to his feet. Macbeth landed a series of hard palm strikes to Outlaw before hitting a spinning backfist. He then jumped up and connected with a knee to the face. He kept striking and delivered a full Toil & Trouble (Combo; Knee Kicks, Spinning Back Kick, Leaping Knee, Spinning Backfist).
Scott Parker: Macbeth striking quick and hard, it’s got Outlaw off balance.
Outlaw swung at Macbeth but Macbeth rolled him up with a small package pin attempt that got two before Outlaw kicked out. Outlaw got to his feet and was hit with a jumping neckbreaker and he rolled out of the ring.
Scott Parker: Outlaw giving himself some room to breathe right now as Macbeth has him against the ropes.
Macbeth rolled out of the ring and walked after Outlaw but walked into a kick to the gut. Outlaw quickly followed it up with a Samoan drop onto the floor. Outlaw crawled to his knees and started to pull Macbeth up who drove him back first into the steel steps. Macbeth lifted Outlaw up and dropped him back first onto the steps. He rolled into and out of the ring to reset the count. Macbeth landed a hard right hand to Outlaw and Outlaw slipped away to the other side of the steps. Macbeth went after Outlaw and Outlaw landed a forearm to the face and then bounced Macbeth off the apron. Outlaw rolled Macbeth into the ring and jumped up on the apron. Macbeth rolled to his feet and turned right into Outlaw hitting a springboard crossbody. Outlaw climbed to his feet and Macbeth wasn’t too far behind. Macbeth stumbled into the corner and Outlaw charged and hit him with a running double knee to the chest.
Scott Parker: Outlaw starting to battle back.
Outlaw pulled Macbeth to the center of the ring and then into the ropes, hitting him with the Lock-up (Black hole slam) on the return. Outlaw called for the end as he stood over Macbeth. He set him up for the Breaking the Law (Canadian Destroyer) but Macbeth countered into a backdrop. Outlaw climbed to his feet and had to quickly duck the From Parts Unknown (360 Buzzsaw Kick) and rolled Macbeth up with a school boy pin. Macbeth kicked out at two and popped up to his feet. Outlaw was up at the same time and walked right into a knee strike to the face. Macbeth stepped up to Outlaw and Outlaw hit him with a kick to the gut and Breaking the Law! Outlaw rolled Macbeth over and covered and Macbeth kicked out at two!
Scott Parker: So close for Outlaw!
Macbeth staggered to his feet and Outlaw was fired up. Outlaw pulled Macbeth up but was pushed away into the corner. Outlaw looked for a spear but ran into a kick to the face. Macbeth pulled Outlaw in and delivered Serious Moonlight (Lifting Single Underhook DDT). He rolled Outlaw into a cover and Outlaw kicked out just before three. Macbeth wasted no movement and rolled right into the Inevitability (Rings of Saturn Submission), forcing Outlaw to tap.
Scott Parker: Ben Macbeth picks up the win here.
Macbeth lets go of the hold and is handed the title. He collects himself and places it on his shoulder.
Scott Parker: EMBLEM is walking out with their gold in place.
Scott Parker: This one is about as personal as it can get. Casey Grey and Alicia Monroe, cousins and former partners, Alicia feeling betrayed by Casey.
Casey Grey made her way out first and paced back and forth in the ring as Alicia Monroe came out next. Monroe charged the ring and went right after Grey as she tackled her to the mat and started to land hard punches. Monroe grabbed Grey by the hair and dropped her to the mat with a hair whip. Grey climbed to her feet and speared Monroe into the corner. Monroe kicked Grey away and hit Grey with a dropkick. Monroe pulled Grey up and locked in a side headlock. Grey tried to push her off but Monroe held on. Grey lifted Monroe up and dropped her to the mat with a belly to back suplex. They both rolled to their feet and Grey dropped Monroe with a spinebuster.
Scott Parker: Casey Grey has more power than Alicia and that gives her a big advantage.
Grey powered Monroe to her feet and scooped her up into a powerslam. Grey kept on the attack as she dropped an elbow onto Monroe. Monroe slowly got up to her feet and was tackled into the corner again. Grey started to drive her shoulder into the gut of Monroe. Monroe hit her with a lifting knee to the chest to get some space. Monroe turned and used the second ropes to springboard into a DDT. Monroe climbed to her feet and started to stomp hard on Grey.
Scott Parker: Monroe unloading on Grey!
The referee tried to get Monroe to break as Grey had gotten to the ropes but she refused. He pulled her off and gave her a warning. Grey got up to her feet and was clotheslined over the top rope. Grey landed on her feet and was hit with a baseball slide that sent her into the barricade. She collected herself and slid into the ring and dodged a right hand and then blasted Monroe with the Breath Mint (Forearm Smash). Grey locked in the Bitch Muzzle (Crossface Submission) on Monroe and screamed at her to submit. Monroe slowly fought to the apron and pulled herself out of the ring to break the hold.
Scott Parker: Monroe forcing the break by pulling herself out of the ring but here comes Casey!
Grey had rolled out of the ring and went after Monroe but ran into a kick to the gut. Monroe suplexed Grey on the outside and sat up slowly.
Scott Parker: Wait a minute! Here comes Ragnarok!
Fenryr and Karli Frost made their way down to the ring and started to attack Monroe. She tried to fight back but the numbers were too much. Fenryr tossed Monroe into the apron and then under the ropes and into the ring. Frost climbed in with Fenryr as Monroe crawled away. Frost grabbed Monroe by the hair as Fenryr waited. There was a crack of a chair as Grey was back in the ring and she attacked Fenryr. Frost turned and Monroe pushed her into a chairshot!
Scott Parker: Monroe and Grey working together to take out Ragnarok!
Grey was fired up as she swung the chair and the duo left quickly. Grey tossed the chair at them and was quickly lifted up and Monroe hit the Down in Flames (Burning Hammer)! Monroe covered and picked up the victory.
Scott Parker: This win was important for Alicia.
Monroe looked at Grey and rolled out of the ring as she started to sit up. The two looked at each other and Monroe turned and walked out.
Scott Parker: It’s time for the main event, folks. Brighton Fischer has earned the right to challenge Daniel Daemon for the World Championship. It’ll be no easy task.
Fischer came to the ring first and took a deep breath before walking down for her second match of the night. She tossed off her jacket and pulled on the top rope to stretch as “Year Zero” by Ghost boomed in the Warehouse. Daniel Daemon walked out to the stage with the World Championship on his shoulder.
Scott Parker: The Emperor is here and he is ready.
Daemon slowly walked to the ring, holding the title in place.
Scott Parker: The slow walk to the ring is a great way to get into someone’s head. Brighton has to be full of nerves right now and the champion is not doing her any favors.
Daemon climbed up the steel steps and slowly stepped into the ring. He folded the championship straps in and handed the title off to the referee who showed it to Fischer and then held it up. He handed it off and the bell sounded soon after the match was announced. Fischer put her hands up in preparation of the fight. Daemon stood in place, forcing Fischer to make the first move.
Scott Parker: More mind games from the Emperor.
Fischer tried to wait him out but Daemon didn’t budge. She stepped forward and quickly had to duck a right hand and blasted him with a hard kick to the knee. She jumped up in an attempt to plant him with a DDT but Daemon pushed her away. He took a step forward as she stood and dropped her with a big boot that drove her to the mat. She rolled to her feet and jumped to the second rope. Daemon turned and charged and Fischer jumped over him. She turned and connected with a dropkick to the back that sent him chest first into the corner. He turned and Fischer was right there with a running corner knee to the face. She pulled him out of the corner with a bulldog and popped up to her feet. Daemon started to stand and Fischer quickly ran to the corner and readied herself. Daemon turned to her and she connected with a standing moonsault. She tried for a cover but he kicked out at just one.
Scott Parker: A lot of spunk from Brighton Fischer! She’s taking it to the Emperor!
Daemon got to his knees and was rocked with a running knee to the face. She jumped up to the second turnbuckle and dove at Daemon as he stood and caught him with a tornado DDT. Fischer went for another cover and just barely got two as Daemon powered up all the way to his feet. Fischer charged and walked right into his hard right hand. She dropped to the mat and Daemon lifted her by the throat to her feet before lifting her up in the air and drove her hard into the mat with a chokeslam. He lifted her up again and caught her with a headbutt that staggered her into the ropes. She looked for a crossbody but he swatted her to the side as he moved. She landed on the mat and Daemon lifted her up into a suplex and stalled.
Scott Parker: He calls this the Power of Asmodeus.
Daemon walked around the ring in a stalled vertical suplex before falling backwards to the mat. He rolled Fischer into a cover and she was able to kick out at two. Daemon pulled her up and tossed her like a ragdoll into the corner. He drove a back elbow into the head of Fischer before turning and giving her a hard knee to the gut. Fischer doubled over as Daemon walked away. He charged but Fischer slipped through the ropes and caught him with a step up enziguri. She climbed to the top rope quickly and dove with a big spiking DDT. Fischer hurried to her feet and scurried to the corner and climbed as fast as she could. She readied and dove as she connected with the Gone Fischin’ (Diving Double Foot Stomp)! She covered and Daemon powered out at two.
Scott Parker: So close! Come on, Brighton!
She was up and pulled her knee pad down to expose her knee. Daemon started to stand and she rocked him with a knee strike to the head. She covered and Daemon pushed her off at one and stood.
Scott Parker: Daemon is pissed!
She charged and ran into a chop to the throat. Fischer staggered and Daemon lifted her above her head and dropped her with the Ritual Disembowelment II (Gorilla Press Gutbuster). Daemon stood off to the side as the referee checked on Fischer as she gasped for air. She stood and Daemon had run off the ropes and flipped her inside out with the Inquisition (POWERFUL running lariat). Daemon dropped to his knees beside her and looked down. He covered as just before the referee hit three he lifted her shoulder up.
Scott Parker: Oh come on! This match is over! The Emperor sending a message here tonight.
Daemon grabbed the exposed leg of Fischer and locked in the Altar of Torture (Over the shoulder single leg boston crab) as the referee quickly called for the bell as Fischer couldn’t respond.
The referee tried to get Daemon to release the hold but he refused.
Scott Parker: Someone stop him!
Daemon tossed Fischer down and stood over her and targeted her leg with a stomp. He collected the championship and held the title belt up as he was announced the winner. Daemon put the title on the top turnbuckle as he started to approach Fischer.
Scott Parker: Who is-
He reached down but the familiar faces of Bailey Mayhew, Caitlin Shay, and Zoey Mathews-Mitchell rushed down to the ring. Mayhew pulled Fischer out of the ring as Shay and Mathews-Mitchell entered the ring. Shay caught Daemon with a springboard headscissors that sent him head first into the middle turnbuckle. He was stunned and into Shay with a legsweep as she and Mathews-Mitchel executed the Version 1 (Leg Sweep [Any] + Shotgun Kick [Zoey])!
Scott Parker: Zoey, Caitlin, and Bailey? I don’t understand it but if it means saving the knee of Brighton…
Just then, Bailey Mayhew came flying off the top rope with the Not Just Another Frog Splash. Daemon rolled into the corner but was lifted by both Mayhew and Shay. The duo got behind Daemon and lifted him up and Mathews-Mitchel got into place and they hit him with a triple powerbomb! The looked at each other with a smile and nodded.
Scott Parker: And now the message has been sent to the Emperor. Don’t mess with Fischer!
The trio rolled out of the ring as Daemon sat up and roared in anger.
Scott Parker: And just like that he’s up.
They collected Fischer who hugged them all and they started to help her to the back. They were at the top of the ramp as Daemon sat on his knees.
Scott Parker: Well ladies and gentlemen, tonight has been one hell of a night and all of us here at Empire Wrestling thank you for joining us.
We get a shot of the foursome starting to turn and Lacy Nelson walked past them with the Victorem briefcase in hand. She charged the ring as Daemon stood and as she got closer. She tossed the briefcase to the referee and the bell rang as the two met in the middle of the ring with lefts and rights!
Scott Parker: This is it! Lacy Nelson has officially invoked her contract for a title match!
Daemon pushed Nelson to the mat but she rolled right to her feet and he caught her with a big boot. Nelson rolled up and walked right into a chokeslam. Daemon lifted her again and delivered a second chokeslam. Daemon covered and Nelson kicked out at two. Daemon quickly pulled her up to her feet and lifted her up for the Twist of Cain (Jumping spinning tombstone piledriver). Nelson slipped behind Daemon before he could hit it. He turned and she caught him with a superkick!
Scott Parker: The superkick!
Daemon staggered and came right at Nelson and she hit him with a second superkick! He dropped to a knee and Nelson delivered a DDT. She rolled him over and got two, as Daemon somehow kicked out just before the three. Nelson stood in the corner and screamed at Daemon to stand.
Scott Parker: She’s going for another kick! Do it, Lacy!
Daemon climbed to his feet and dodged the third superkick. He grabbed Nelson by the throat but she countered into the Headline (Eat Defeat)! She grabbed both legs and sat on the chest of Daemon and leaned back to put all she had into a cover as the referee counted to three!
Scott Parker: She did it! Lacy Nelson is the new Empire Wrestling World Champion! She’s dethroned the Emperor after one year of his reign!
Nelson was shocked and looked around as she grabbed the championship off the top turnbuckle and held it high. She looked at it and clutched it before jumping out of the ring as Daemon started to come to. She ran up the ramp and sat at the top of the stage and laid back with the title on her chest. Daemon looked around as he started to realize what happened and grabbed the referee by the shirt. He stood and tossed the referee out of the ring in anger as he looked up at Nelson.
Scott Parker: Ladies and gentlemen, your new champion!
Nelson blew a kiss to Daemon as she walked to the back and we went off-air.
