It's aftershock, you know the setup. There's a camera set in front of the Aftershock logo as Kevin Olsen sits nearby just in case anyone needs someone to talk to. Into frame walks EW World Champion Lacy Nelson with her championship sits on her shoulder and she has a big smile on her face. Olsen jumps to his feet and fixes his tie.
Kevin Olsen: Hello, Ms Nelson! First off I'd like to say congratulations on becoming the World Champion last week.
Lacy Nelson: Thanks, Kev. I wanted to stop by and take a look at my Kingdom.
Lacy gives a soft chuckle before she puts a hand on Kevin's shoulder.
Lacy Nelson: No but really I wanted to stop by because I wanted to take a moment to just send some get well soon thoughts out to Scott Parker. I saw what Danny did to him as I was arriving tonight and it was, well it was what I expect to see out of him. He uses scare tactics to try and claim to rule over the Empire.
She takes the championship and gives it a pat before she grabs it and holds it towards the camera.
Lacy Nelson: This means that I am at the top of Empire Wrestling.
Lacy has to take a moment to take a deep breath and puts the championship back on her shoulder.
Lacy Nelson: When I came to Empire Wrestling I may not have been liked very much and I get it. I attacked FM Young, Chelsea Pryce, anyone I needed to. But since coming to EW I have said that I am here to make headlines. L2N is here to be THE headline. Now that I am the headline, I don't plan on budging. I heard Zoey out there a little bit ago. I know that Danny wants this back. There's the weirdo that keeps attacking me. I get it, the target is bigger than ever, but I'll always be ready to fight for this prize.
Kevin Olsen: Lacy, you haven't ever given us a lot of face time when it comes to sitting down and asking questions so I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't ask you now that you're here. In the past, mainly when you were up against FM Young, we saw you aligned with someone in a hood, similar to when you first came on the scene. Now, someone in a mask and a hood is attacking and you have been at the center of a couple of these attacks. Is there any correlation between the two?
Lacy Nelson: Fair. I don't think this person is wearing what they're wearing because of me. I never wore a mask when I first came and no one knew my name. My face was never hidden. The person that was aligned with me? Well, our plans changed. I won't say why, I won't say who they even were. I changed, things changed, and this... mystery person isn't the same. Trust me, I've checked. Whoever is out there in that... creepy mask and hood... it is a bit disturbing-
There was some rattling nearby as some polls and boxes were knocked over. Olsen started to slowly back away, the smart guy he is. Nelson on the other hand started to look around for what it was.
Lacy Nelson: Kev?
She turned to see Olsen now about 20 feet away as one of the lights were knocked down and shattered at her feet. She turned and in the dimly lit area was the masked and hooded person. They tilted their head and rocked the champion with a headbutt and she fell backwards to her butt. She blinked a few times and was hit with a running knee to the face! The mystery attacker leaned over Lacy for a moment and then with the flicker of a few lights was gone again. Trainers came to check on Lacy and they started to clean up the broken light.
Lacy Nelson: I'm fine. I'm fine!
She pushed someone away as she went to stand and sat right back down as she shook her head a few times. She grabbed the championship and put it in her lap as she let out a small chuckle.
