Episode #11 - December 8, 2015
Scott Parker: We are one week away from Next Level Retribution and we have a massive main event tonight!
Gemma Foster: A ten person tag team match sure is massive!
Scott Parker: We’re also bound to get some fallout from the ending of the EW Heavyweight Championship match that took place at Gauntlet Run. Billy Way must be chomping at the bit for another shot at Notch after beating him via countout.
Gemma Foster: I have to wonder how well the Spectres and Freaks will be able to team with Notch tonight.
Chaos Breeds a Revolution
“Twin Skeleton’s” by Fall Out Boy started to play as Wade Mason made his way to the stage and looked out to the EW Warehouse. He made his way to ringside and shook hands with Todd Evans, Gemma Foster, and Scott Parker before entering the ring with a microphone in hand. His music started to die down as he gave another look around.
Wade Mason: I don’t like wasting a bunch of time when it comes to certain things and I know there’s a lot to get to tonight so I’ll try not to stall this out too long. I am beyond proud at the match representing EW at BWF’s Gauntlet Run. It was an amazing EW Heavyweight Championship match. The only thing that I disliked about it is I’ve gotten phone call after phone call after phone call from Billy Way this week. Billy claims he was able to beat Notch and felt he should be the new champion.
The fans disagree with that statement and they begin to boo.
Wade Mason: In a way, he was right. He DID manage to defeat Notch but as we all know the title did not change hands due to him winning by countout. Now the question is would Billy have beaten Notch if they weren’t able to be counted out.
He pretends to get an idea and shrugs.
Wade Mason: Why don’t we find out?
The crowd pops as Wade looks around, smiling.
Wade Mason: Two weeks from now EW will be holding its second Next Level event, Revolution. In the main event of Next Level Revolution we will see Notch put the title on the line once again against Billy Way. This time, however, the match will be contested under no countout, no disqualification rules.
There’s a large cheer from the fans at the announcement of the match.
Wade Mason: Let’s see who stands tall.
Mason hands off the microphone before leaving the ring.
Scott Parker: A bombshell of an announcement to kick off the night!
Gemma Foster: Next Level Revolution just got turned up to 11.
Alex Richards Vs. Drak
Richards and Drak were both looking for their first wins in EW after rough starts. The two exchanged a few punches to kick things off and Drak sent Richards into the corner. Drak charged and ran into a big boot from Richards. Richards hit Drak with a series of hard chops to the chest. Richards hit Drak with an arm drag and Drak stumbled to his feet. Drak looked for a clothesline and Richards ducked before delivering a German suplex. Drak staggered up and grabbed onto Richards. Drak hit a jawbreaker that he followed up with an enziguri. Richards used the ropes to pull himself up and dodged Drak’s dropkick. Drak got back to his feet and Richards hit him with the Welcome to Detroit (Double Underhook Facebuster) and covered. One… two… three!
WINNER: Alex Riachards, via pinfall 8:03
Scott Parker: Alex Richards has picked up his first win here in EW.
Gemma Foster: Sometimes all it takes is one.
Irregularly Scheduled Programming
Todd Evans: Ladies and gentlemen. The next match is...
Todd falls silent as “Hell Yeah” by Rev Theory begins to play.
Todd Evans: Uh...postponed, I guess? I don't know.
He shrugs at the announcer's table. They return the gesture. After a few moments, Casey Grey comes out of the back wearing leather wrestling shorts and a black sleeveless shirt emblazoned with the words “Cherry Bomb” written around two cherries with flaming stems, rendered in World War Two bomber nose art style. She walks to the ring with a confident step, stopping on the way to give her “Buttercup” baseball cap to a young fan at ringside. She climbs up the stairs and after sliding her boots back and forth for a moment on the apron, climbs between the middle and top ropes. She walks up to Todd and takes his microphone without a word or warning.
Casey Grey: Thank you, Mr. Evans! Nice outfit. Okay, first things first. There's been a couple of things botherin' me since the last Animosity, which is weird for me because I'm usually so calm, cool, and all “sin” and stuff...
Todd Evans walks forward and whispers something in her ear.
Casey Grey: Zen? Are you sure? That doesn't even sound like a real word, but okay. Zen, then. Thanks, Mr. Evans.
Todd Evans: Todd.
Casey Grey: Todd? Don't know him. But anyway...
Todd Evans shakes his head and stands near a corner.
Casey Grey: ...I was busy tryin' ta get in the zone at the last show because I had a tough match. But I do remember glancin' over at the monitor and seein' Gabe Shelley talking about this belt of his. How it's for those that are lookin' to prove themselves and, ya know, I thought about it. I thought about it since that night. It even kinda overshadowed that pecan pie I made for Thanksgiving and that's no easy task. Now, after mullin' over it for a couple of weeks I've decided. I don't care what it is or who has to make the decision. December twenty second. Next Level Retribution. I want in. I want my shot at the Primetime Championship Title. So, let's go. I would like an answer before...well, the end of the night would be nice. I'm looking at your camera, Mr. Mason.
Casey Grey: Okay, as far as tonight goes. I have a tag match with Azurine against Bailey Mayhew and Ursula Areano. And yeah, it is kinda weird being partners with someone that I was wrestling against last week, but I think that this, just like that Primetime Championship that I just know Mr. Mason is about to give me a shot it, is a great opportunity for me. And Azurine. Both of us, I mean. With the solid performance that I know we're both going to be able to put on tonight, it'll show that we're both great tag partners as well as singles competitors. Hey! Maybe we can get the tag team belts, too! What do you think? A belt here...
She indicates one shoulder.
Casey Grey: And here...
She indicates the other.
Casey Grey: No, no! It's okay Riley! Jo! We're not goin' to try to take them from you guys! Just if you...you know, lose them to someone. But that's still a long way off so that doesn't really matter. So, solid singles competitor. Check. Solid tag competitor. Check. Better chance to get to BWF and kick Karli Frost's ass. Check!
Casey turns around and hands the microphone back to Todd and, smiling, leaves the ring to her music.
Just Another Test
Earlier Tonight
Solitude, unblinking gaze. Derrick stared at a monitor in his locker room. Matches past, from many different times peppered across the screen. One of the few times he feels at peace. Studying many matches and many opponents at once. Hand clasping chin before finally addressing the camera behind him
Derrick Daze: If I were one who needed their existence validated with baubles; I am certain that the results of my last match would be devastating. But I have been between the ropes for far too long. Glory seeking had lost its splendor long long ago. I'm sure many shall snerk and say that I have been disproven. I have already gone over their inability to comprehend. Their complete failure of understanding when one clearly dictates their motives.
Derrick Daze:But I cannot entirely blame them. For years they have been subjugated to the smoke and mirrors. They no longer know how to handle something that is exactly how it presents itself. Let me reiterate. I am questing for perfection. I firmly place myself in a position to educate the future of this sport. I cannot be silenced. And I will not be distracted.
Derrick Daze: Mr. Noir fancies himself a natural talent. Dare I say even a prodigy. But does he have the mind of an athlete? I myself was born with a mind for excelling at this sport. I was born with the know how and laser sharp focus to turn this supposedly inferior frame into a master work machine. Be prepared to be shown how natural talent is squandered on the likes of you. You will simply be another test, another experiment. I shall move on, maybe to find a prime testing rubric.
Gabriel Noir Vs. Derrick Daze
Noir climbed into the ring and was quickly attacked by Daze as the bell sounded. Daze rocked Noir with a short arm clothesline and Noir rolled to his feet. Daze caught him with a hard throat chop before applying a headlock. Noir struggled to get free and finally slipped out and hit Daze with a hard chop across the chest. Daze responded with a chop of his own before Noir sent him into the ropes and hit a powerslam on the return. Daze climbed to his feet and caught Noir with a kick to the gut and dropped him with a DDT. Noir stumbled to his feet and Daze connected with The Fall (Running Crane Kick). Daze walked around Noir as he started to stand. Daze charged and hit the flying omoplata and forced Noir to tap.
WINNER: Derrick Daze, via submission 6:33
Gemma Foster: Impressive looking win for Derrick Daze tonight.
Tagging Rythem
“The Adorkable Angel” Azurine Vebbins accidentally bumps into intrepid interviewer Kevin Olson while pirouetting down the hallway. She’s en route to meet up with her friend and tag-team partner Casey Grey. To showcase solidarity with Casey, she’s wearing a Silver “Athena” Polka Dot Large Bow Dress designed by Black Butterfly Clothing and a pair of grey Jambu Spin Ballet Flats. Olson does his best to catch up with “Da Damsel in Dis Dress” so he can perform what he considers necessary inquiries. Subtitles appear on the video screen immediately as Vebbins starts talking. Such subtitles have been bracketed for reading comprehension.
Kevin Olson: Good evening, Azurine. Tonight, you are scheduled to compete in a tag-team match with friend and potentially future rival Casey Grey…
Azurine Vebbins: Ya wuh ca-rict da foist time, Kevin. Casey and I ah fraynds who will be facin’ Oi-suh-la Ah-ray-ah-no and Bailey Mayhew hay-ah on An-i-ma-si-tay.
[You were correct the first time, Kevin. Casey and I are friends who will be facing Ursula Areano and Bailey Mayhew here on Animosity.]
Kevin Olson: Is it jarring to be opponents the last time you both saw in-ring action to being teammates?
Azurine Vebbins: Not ay-vin one iota. Casey and I haph dev-el-ipt tray-min-dus chay-mis-tray since way hitcht up wit Jo, Riley, Alex-an-da, and Alexa. Alsa, last time was a fraynd-lay ex-hib-i-shun. Casey hoi-self calmt my noi-vs be-fa way grap-ult by bay-si-clay makin' such an a-soi-shun in a Blay-zin-book post.
[Not even one iota. Casey and I have developed tremendous chemistry since we hitched up with Jo, Riley, Alexander, and Alexa. Also, last time was a friendly exhibition. Casey herself calmed her nervous before we grappled by basically making such an assertion in a Blazenbook post.]
Kevin Olson: Is it possible she was performing reverse psychology by lowering your defenses and lulling you in a false sense of security?
Azurine Vebbins: I might bay naïve, but I know when someone is bay-rin' false wit-nis. Plus, Casey sow-nd-id pray-tay contrite in hoi Afta-shock ay-vin dough she did-int nade ta. Way ah on da same page and will do ow-ah pot ta conk-oi da boi-gin-in' tag-taym div-i-shun, Kevin.
Kevin Olson: You mentioned The Atypical Aristocracy and The Spectres as fellow allies. Should either team be concerned of you and Casey possibly usurping their championships in the foreseeable future?
Azurine Vebbins: Right now Casey and I ah still findin' ow-ah tag-in' rith-um. If we spod against Da Spec-toz, I'd say no hod fay-lin's, amigas. It's strict-lay pra-fay-shun-ul. If we spod against what didja call dem...Da A-tip-i-cul Ay-ri-stoc-ra-say? I'd want da best taym ta win and haph dem know it's nay-voi good ta snug-gull ain-gray.
Kevin Olson: Still finding your tagging rhythm? Is that supposed to be a euphemism for...? Nevermind. How do you see your team's dynamic in its embryonic state?
Azurine Vebbins: Just as it's like when way ca-rew-se all o-voi town. Casey's da dri-voi. I'm da tag-a-long. If I stot spay-kin like a b-woid, she's prooft she can muzzle my sass. Ta-gay-thoi way got ow-ah ad-voi-say-rays hand-ult like a Jaw-juh Pay-ch Pie. Alsa, I'll bay rew-tin' fa da Spec-toz, Frayks wit Ben-a-fitz, and Mista Notch ta win in deyr main ay-vint match lay-ta on. It's ben ray-ul, Kevin. Now, I haphta find Casey.
[Just as it's like when we cruise all over town. Casey's the driver. I'm the tagalong. If I start speaking like a b-word (bitch), she's proved she can muzzle my sass. Together we got our adversaries handled like a Georgia Peach Pie. Also, I'll be rooting for The Spectres, Freaks with Benefits, and Mister Notch to win in their main event match later on. It's been real, Kevin. Now, I have to find Casey.]
The scene ends with Azurine resuming her pirouettes and nearly clocking Olson in the face when extending her left leg.

On the Hunt, Hunt, Hunt
Bailey Mayhew is backstage wearing earbuds, listening to music. She's mouthing the words and bobbing her head when Kevin Olson walks up.
Kevin Olson: Uh, excuse me, Bailey...
Bailey is unaware of Kevin's presence as she gets more into the song, breaking out into a dance, or it could probably be identified as more of random flailing as Kevin tries again, talking a little louder this time.
Kevin Olson: Bailey, can I have a moment of your time?
Bailey still doesn't know Kevin is there as she now starts bellowing the lyrics.
Bailey Mayhew: I'M ON A HUNT, HUNT, HUNT FOR YOUR CHEMICALS, I GOT THE LUST, LUST, LUST FOR THE--
Kevin Olson: BAILEY!
A startled Bailey pulls the earbuds from her ears.
Bailey Mayhew: Oh, uh, hi Kevin. You.. you didn't see any of that did you?
Kevin Olson: A little bit. What were you listening to?
Bailey Mayhew: "Hunt Hunt Hunt" by There For Tomorrow. You see, I've been doing really good lately, and I think I might be on the "Hunt Hunt Hunt" for a title soon.
Kevin Olson: You certainly have been on a roll as of late, and if you win this match you could very well be in the picture for a Primetime Championship. Any thoughts on that?
Bailey Mayhew: That would be cool. Or maybe me and Ursula Areano could prove to be a good team tonight. If we show good teamwork and beat Casey Grey and Azurine Vebbins tonight, maybe we could get a shot at the Tag Team Titles. The tag division has been really good so far, and it would be cool to be involved in that as well. I'm hoping gold will be in my future soon, but right now I need to focus on the match tonight and being a good partner for Ursula. Now if you'll excuse me, I really like this song. Won't you dance with me, Kevin?
Bailey puts her earbuds back in as she goes back to her "dancing".
Kevin Olson: ...I'll pass. Good luck in your match tonight.
Alexander King Vs. Niva Sharma
King and Sharma met in the center of the ring and locked up. King locked in a side headlock that Sharma was easily about to slip out of and dropped him with a neckbreaker. Sharma pulled King to his feet but he drove his knee into her gut. He lifted his leg and delivered a kick that connected with her chest that made her stagger backwards. King grabbed Sharma and connected with a snap suplex. He looked to apply a figure four leg lock but was kicked away as he started to apply it. Sharma rolled to her feet and caught King with a step up enziguri. Sharma grabbed the leg of King and lifted it and drove it back into the mat. She then rolled him into the Bombay Crab (Boston Crab). King tried to pull himself to the ropes but Sharma pulled him back to the center of the ring. Sharma applied more pressure as she arched backwards and King refused to tap. He was able to inch his way and lunged at the bottom rope to break the hold. Sharma waited for King to stand and looked for the Snake Charmer (Springboard Tornado DDT) but King dodged her with a roll. He planted his feet and hit her with a 540 Back Kick that dropped her to the mat. King made his way over to Sharma and applied the figure four leg lock. She tried to roll King over but he held his ground and wouldn’t allow it. She reached as much as she could and was able to get her fingers wrapped around the bottom rope. King broke the hold and climbed to his feet as Sharma pulled herself up using the ropes. She grabbed King and looked for a DDT but he spun away and into the Headshot (Guyver Kick). He rolled her into a cover as he hooked a leg. One… two… three.
WINNER: Alexander King, via pinfall 10:27
Scott Parker: A great back and forth match between two strong competitors.
Gemma Foster: King has already seen success here in EW and it’s clear more could be on the way.
Scott Parker: Much like these next four competitors. Four competitors with bright futures are set for tag team action.
Chance to Start Over
Earlier Tonight
Kevin Olson and his cameraman, Juan, are set up in front of the interview set awaiting their guest for this week. The make-up girl is just doing some final touches as Kevin reads over his prepared questions. As make-up leaves and the lights come up to full strength, Kevin squares himself to camera with a smile.
Kevin Olson: We all know that we’ve just come off BWF’s Gauntlet Run where we witnessed the EW World title being defended in an amazing match. But through all, Billy Way wasn’t able to take away the title from The Notch. It makes you wonder who will be the next person to have a shot. But we can talk about that some other time right now we will welcome our guest Ursula Areano!
Ursula casually stepped into the shot and shakes hands with Kevin. She quickly finds her chair and begins to get comfortable.
Ursula Areano: Thanks for having me Kevin!
Kevin Olson: You’re truly welcome. Well shall we begin?
Ursula gives a nod.
Kevin Olson: A lot of the fans are wonder what are you reason to coming to EW?
Ursula smiles and speaks.
Ursula Areano: Well, you see Kevin a while back I was part of the BWF main roster. But in due time my personally life was getting in the way. I wasn’t completely focused and you could tell that by my ring performance. So I step back from BWF, in that time I thought about a lot things and I slowly started to compete again; But this time all around the world! But you see I was still watching BWF grow more and more. Seeing the fresh new pieces of talent come to BWF and putting on amazing matches. Made have the itch to come back here. What is where I heard of EW. It is where the new talent must prove themselves if they want to complete on the main show. I completely saw this a way of re-inventing myself. This time you have a more focused wrestler on your arms. That is willing to start at the bottom to achieve glory.
Kevin Olson: That is great to hear. Next question, how do you feeling about teaming up with Bailey Mayhew in your next match?
Ursula Areano: Well honestly I am really looking forward to it. I have always been a fan of tag team matches. So far in my career I have been a part of teams. But they collapsed both they got anywhere off the ground. But I see a lot a fight in Bailey something I haven’t seen in awhile. No telling this might not be the last time we team up? This could be the start of a new team.? Hell! We might get a shot at the Tag Team Championship one of these days. Anything can happen! But if it comes to us forming a team. It could happen.
Ursula winks at the camera.
Kevin Olson: I am sure all the fans are looking forward to this as well. Now on to the last question. What are your thoughts on possibly using your match to showcase yourself for a shot at the Primetime Championship?
Ursula Areano: That’s great to hear! Sure, everyone in EW is looking forward to the day he or she will get a shot at the Notch for the World title. But adding another title to the mix could help anyone’s chances to work their way up and finally to the World title spot. But let’s make one thing clear. I will find a way to be in that match.
Kevin Olson: You have heard it here fans. We can all expect big things from my guest, the returning Ursula Areano.
Scene fades to black.
No More Talk
Riley steps in front of the camera, accompanied by the blue smoke that usually sounds them from the Halo G-6 E-cigarette they smoke during their entrance, in full usual ring attire. They pace in front of the camera for a moment, puffing out smoke, seemingly agitated. Mighty Jo seems to be for the moment, absent.
Riley Rouse: Man, everybody’s been throwing around the word heart a lot lately. Frankly though I nod off every time Billy or Calypso talk, I catch bits and pieces. But it’s been rattling around my brain, this idea. Billy’s all gimmick, talk, talk, talk, talk.
At this Riley makes ‘talking gestures’ with their hand and uses other hand to smack it away.
Riley Rouse: 3rd Power are about as scary as a carnival sideshow and not one of those stupid haunted ones from internet creepypasta. Just the regular old lame kind. They think their dream eaters or some kind of anthropomorphized death. All this nonsense about destroying heroes and changing people’s perceptions. Here I am, happy-go-lucky, weird Riley and you know, I like that. I do everything in my power usually to avoid being serious, but you got your wish, I heard you oafs.
Riley steps back, throwing their arms wide, making the tails on their waist coat flail, puffing more blue smoke out of their nose intensely.
Riley Rouse: I hate crowds, I don’t like noise, but that ring. It gets pretty small, the lights and the rush block out the bad stuff. So I’m thinking to myself… How am I going to handle nine other people in my ring? At the risk of sounding like a Planeteer...Heart. Because Billy Way, 3rd Power, Haters? I’m a hero, I’m the thing you can’t control and I am not scared of you.
Mighty Jo wanders into frame and Riley puts their arms down, going back to sheepishly happy quiet Riley.
Mighty Jo Young: Hey, there you are, sweetie. Looks like I didn’t have to drag you after all.
Riley Rouse: Nope, made it all by myself. Yay, I’m a big kid.
Jo reaches up on her tiptoes and ruffles her fingers through Riley’s hair. Riley blushes at the gesture, but dips their head into fingers range anyway, allowing Jo to further muss their already crazy hair.
Mighty Jo Young: That you are. So what do you think of having to tag with our number one contenders?
Riley Rouse: ...I Hadn’t honestly thought that far ahead.
Jo laughs and shakes her head, kissing Riley’s cheek. Who flusters more at the contact.
Mighty Jo Young: The way I see it, so long as they play nice. Everything will be fine. See I’m a big fan of Notch and as much as I’d love to tangle with the old man someday, today ain’t that day. As much as Krista and Kayla want their title shot, today ain’t that day either. I’m not about to let Notch down, I refuse to lose this one. So let’s focus on putting down Creepy, Yappy and Baldo, alright girls?
Jo looks at Riley, who basically hefts her into their back again easily to walk down to the ring.
Mighty Jo Young: You want to add anything? I mean, you’re gonna be okay? Right?
Riley Rouse: I’ll be fine, babe and you said it, I’ve got nothing.
Riley starts to walk off camera, carrying a happily cheering Jo. Singsonging as they walk.
Riley Rouse: It's my whole heart, weighed and measured inside. Deemed and delivered a crime and while tried and tested, it's mine.
Casey Grey & Azurine Vebbins Vs. Bailey Mayhew & Ursula Areano
Grey and Mayhew would start things off as both teams took a few moments to talk strategy. Mayhew hit Grey with a quick spinning back kick to the gut that she followed right into a DDT. Mayhew applied a headlock on the mat to Grey. Grey was able to get to a knee a slip away from Mayhew and pulled her up. Grey locked in a sleeper hold that Mayhew quickly dropped to her knees and rolled Grey forward. They both got to their feet and Grey hit a running lariat. Mayhew rolled to her feet and hit a charging Grey with an uppercut. Mayhew pulled Grey in and delivered the Wings of a Butterfly (Butterfly Suplex). Mayhew rolled into a cover… One… two and pulled off by Vebbins. Vebbins quickly went back to her corner as Grey climbed to her feet. Mayhew charged and was caught with a powerslam. Grey was able to make it to her corner and tagged out to Vebbins. Vebbins pulled Mayhew up to her feet but was driven into the corner with a shoulder. Mayhew tagged out to Areano and she climbed into the ring. Mayhew and Areano hit a double flapjack. Vebbins stumbled up to her feet and was hit in the chest with the Argentina Train (Elijah Express). Areano pulled Vebbins into a cover. One… two and a kickout by Vebbins. Vebbins used the ropes to climb to her feet and Areano charged. Vebbins dropped and pulled the top ropes down and Areano flipped over the top and landed on the apron. Vebbins grabbed Areano in a half nelson from in the ring and flipped her back into the ring with a half nelson suplex.
Gemma Foster: What a maneuver!
Scott Parker: These ladies are pulling out all the stops here tonight, Gemma!
Areano stumbled slowly to her feet and Vebbins hit her with two knees to the sternum. Vebbins looked for the superkick part of the Sweetheart Sockhop but Areano dodged. Vebbins turned and was rocked with the Tempest Turn (K.O. Punch) and Areano fell to a knee as Vebbins fell backwards. Grey tagged herself in and hit the ropes and hit a single leg dropkick to the face of Areano. Areano staggered up and to her feet and Grey started to set up for the 400 6.6 (Fisherman Brainbuster) but Areano was able to spin away and tag out to Mayhew. Mayhew hit the ring and dropped Grey with a clothesline. Grey got back to her feet and Mayhew got into position for the Into the Sunset (Asai DDT) but Grey lifted her up to her shoulders and delivered the Racklash (Rack Attack). Grey fell onto Mayhew for a cover. One… two… three!
WINNERS: Casey Grey and Azurine Vebbins, via pinfall 13:21
Areano had jumped into the ring but couldn’t make it to break the cover in time and Grey rolled away and into her corner. Vebbins helped pull her up and the duo walked over to Areano and Mayhew. Areano helped pull Mayhew up as the two teams stood across from each other. They all started to shake hands to the delight of the crowd.
Shine in Primetime
Twin Skeleton’s” by Fall Out Boy kicked up as the four competitors were still shaking hands and talking after the match and out walked EW’s General Manager, Wade Mason. The fans gave a pop as the four in the ring turned their attention to him. He gives a small applause before his music cuts out and he starts to speak.
Wade Mason: That was a fantastic match.
The fans cheer in agreement as he smiles.
Wade Mason: The four of you undoubtedly have a bright future ahead of you if you continue to perform like that. I look around at EW and see nothing but great talent from top to bottom. I know that any match booked with the four of you is bound to draw eyes for Next Level Revolution.
He pauses and it’s clear he’s pretending to think and have an idea.
Wade Mason: Next Level Revolution. That sure does get me thinking. We have our main event booked for the show, we know who the Spectres are facing with the Tag Team Championship on the line. Then there’s the new Primetime Championship. A title that, according to Gabe Shelley, is a title that gave him a chance to highlight himself and started his journey to the top. I see four competitors in the ring that are also on a journey to the top, ready to shine.
Mayhew, Grey, Vebbins, and Areano all start to share looks at each other.
Wade Mason: It’s perfect. At Next Level Revolution it’ll be Bailey Mayhew versus Casey Grey versus Ursula Areano versus Azurine Vebbins to determine the first EW Primetime Champion!
The fans pop as the four women add a little space between them and then look back to Mason.
Wade Mason: Good luck, ladies.
Gemma Foster: Another big announcement by Mr. Mason!
Scott Parker: One of these four superstars will walk out of Next Level as the very first Primetime Champion.

The Notch, F.W.B., & The Spectres Vs. Billy Way, The Haters, 3rd Power
Scott Parker: Here we go folks, it’s main event time. Notch and Billy Way will meet again in two weeks and the Freaks will be taking on the Spectres. We know the Haters hate both the Spectres and the Freaks…
Gemma Foster: Pretty sure they hate everyone.
Scott Parker: And the 3rd Power wants to add to the insanity.
Notch’s team stood in the ring as Way’s team made it down second. We had a staredown once Way and his partners entered the ring and the fans loved it. The referee quickly lost control as the bell sounded and the two teams met in the middle of the ring and exchanged blows. Taylor could be seen hitting DeLuca with hard forearms. Williams was dropped by Tartarus’ chokeslam and she rolled out of the ring. Tartarus was sent out of the ring by Mighty Jo Young clotheslining him over the top and he landed on his feet. Calypso charged Young and she and Rouse backdropped him over the top and Calypso crashed onto Tartarus. Way caught Rouse with the Billion Dollar Kick (Roundhouse Kick) as Notch hit Salvatore with the N Factor (X-Factor). Taylor dropped DeLuca with the Merry Go Round (Spinning Fisherman Suplex). She stood and was hit with the Billion Dollar Kick from Way and dropped to the mat and she rolled out beside Williams. Young looked for Caught Up (Spear) on Way but he jumped over her. He jumped at her as she turned and hit Feel This (Corkscrew Forearm). Notch and Way were left standing in the ring as the fans went wild.
Scott Parker: A lot of intense action, Gemma. You knew this wasn’t going to be a standard match with tensions running high before Next Level.
Gemma Foster: I love it!
Way and Notch exchanged chops to each other’s chests that turned into forearms to the head. The Spectres and 3rd Power were near the ramp battling it out while the Freaks with Benefits exchanged blows with The Haters. Way hit Notch with the Nutcracker (Reverse Atomic Drop) and Notch staggered away and into the corner. Way looked for a corner splash but Notch moved out of the way and dropped a staggering Way with a two handed bulldog. Notch jumped up and was fired up as he jumped around, the fans spelling out N-O-T-C-H before Notch hit the West Sider (Jumping Leg Drop). Notch went for a cover. One… two and he was pulled out by DeLuca. Notch immediately dropped DeLuca with a right hand and rolled back into the ring. Tartarus was there and grabbed Notch by the throat. Notch kicked him in the gut and Young came running and hit Caught Up! She turned but was quickly hit with Calypso’s To the 3rd Power (Clothesline). Williams kicked Calypso in the knee and he dropped to the opposite knee. She and Taylor came from opposite sides of the ring and hit Calypso with the Plan A/Season Ender (Double Shining Wizard).
Gemma Foster: Krista and Kayla showed off that move last week and Calypso looks to be out of it.
Salvatore lifted Williams and dropped her with a side walk slam as Way hit Taylor with the Simply Awesome Buster (Sitout Facebuster). Way stood back up but was dropped by Rouse coming out of nowhere with Bored Now (Trouble In Paradise)! Young was back to her feet and hit Salvatore with the Caught Up. He stumbled to his feet and was hit with Rouse’s Bored Now next. He rolled back to his feet, stunned, and took a kick to the gut from Notch who then delivered the Sugar Notch (Fisherman’s DDT) and rolled into a cover. One… two… three!
WINNERS: The Notch, Rouse, Young, Williams, and Taylor, via pinfall 10:19
Scott Parker: Nothing but chaos in that match-up and I had no doubt that it would be. Notch is standing tall but will he be at Next Level Revolution?
Billy Way stood at the bottom of the ramp and motioned for Notch’s title around his waist. He pointed at Notch and back to his waist. The Freaks and Spectres stood off in the center of the ring before sharing fist bumps and raising the hands of Notch, the four all raising their hands.
Scott Parker: Showing of respect tonight from Williams, Taylor, and the Tag Team Champions.
Gemma Foster: They know they can save it for Next Level and tear the house down.
We get a final shot of the Haters and 3rd Power heading up the ramp as Way stood at the bottom watching Notch before we faded to black.
