Episode #12 - January 5, 2016
Scott Parker: Happy New Year to one and all! Once again I am Scott Parker and I’m alongside the lovely Gemma Foster.
Gemma Foster: Thank you, Scott. It’s a new year and EW continues to roll on.
Scott Parker: We can’t go any further without talking about all of the events that happened just before the 1st of the year. We’re coming off another amazing Next Level event. Revolution saw the crowning of EW’s first ever Primetime Champion as Casey Grey was able to walk away with the title around her waist. Both Spectres and The Notch retained their respected titles and there were hard fought matches all around.
Gemma Foster: That Primetime Championship does look good with Casey, Scott.
Scott Parker: That it does. We’re back in action tonight but we still haven’t touched on the biggest news coming out of the New Year. The Notch and Billy Way kicked off BWF’s WrestleFest IX event with the EW Heavyweight Championship on the line and it was worthy of the big stage as those two tore into each other. Billy Way somehow found a way to walk out of the match the brand new EW Heavyweight Champion.
Gemma Foster: Neither man is here tonight, being given the night off after their WrestleFest matches, but I can’t wait to hear what either has to say.
Scott Parker: Let’s kick the show off with some brand new EW talent set to debut against Destruction INK.
Sin City Savages [Thompson/Anderson] Vs. Destruction INK
Thompson and Korey met in the middle of the ring and Korey danced around him briefly. Thompson pulled Korey in and drove his knee into his gut. Thompson connected with a headbutt to the side of Korey’s head before clubbing him on the back, forcing him to a knee. Thompson made the tag to Anderson and they took Korey down with a double hip toss. Korey was able to get to his corner but before he could make a tag he was pulled to the center of the ring by Anderson. Anderson pulled him up and tossed him into the ropes. Korey looked for a crossbody but was taken to the mat with a powerslam from Anderson. Anderson tagged to Thompson and Korey dove to his corner for a tag to James. James entered the ring and clothesline both men down. They climbed back to their feet and James hit Anderson with a big boot. Thompson landed a series of lefts and rights before hitting the ropes and took down James with a running elbow smash. James staggered to his feet and grabbed Thompson and pulled him in for a bearhug. Korey reached in and made the tag and jumped into the ring and came flying off the top ropes with a dropkick. Korey made a cover. One… two and an easy kickout.
Gemma Foster: Both teams showing great tag team awareness.

Anderson lifted him up with a gorilla press and Thompson dropped to a knee. Anderson dropped Korey gut first onto the knee of Thompson. They set it up behind James as he was unaware. He turned and saw the table being set up and started to land lefts and rights with Thompson. Anderson came over and the duo was too much for James as they attacked him. Anderson lifted him and drove him through the table with a powerbomb as the fans began to boo them.
Gemma Foster: I think that’s enough, Scott.
Scott Parker: The Sin City Savages clearly sending a message to the locker room. They are here and they mean business. Plus, it doesn’t look like we’re done seeing them. Here they come.
The duo exit the ring as the trainers check on Korey and James. Anderson and Thompson head over to the announce table and pull chairs off the wall nearby and set them up and sit.
Gemma Foster: I think they’re staying out here to watch their third member, Michelle Robinson, in action coming up next.

Sharma started to make her way down the ramp and hesitated as she looked at Anderson and Thompson starting to stand out of their chairs. She jumped to the apron and Robinson knocked her off and back to the floor. Sharma stood but was quickly attacked by the two men. Anderson tossed her shoulder first into the steel steps as the fans began to boo them. Anderson pulled Sharma up and rolled her into the ring. Leading to Victory
In the backstage area we get a shot of Wade Mason, who still have some effects from Krista May Williams accidentally spraying him in the face with fake tan. He’s sitting on his desk as the camera readies.
Wade Mason: Last week we saw EW represented on a huge stage as The Notch and Billy competed in an amazing match during BWF’s WrestleFest event. It’s matches like these that are making EW grow every week as we continue to show the world that we can do. There are many things in the works for EW during 2016 as we continue to grow. It’s still too early to make anything official but events are being hammered out to keep putting EW talent on the big stages of BWF and to even showcase that BWF talent during EW events.
He takes a quick pause as he points to a calendar.
Wade Mason: I can say that on March 31st, EW will march towards victory. On March 31st, EW will present Next Level Victorem. I look forward for what the next few months of EW will bring.
The Haters’ Open Challenge
The Haters, Gio DeLuca and Dominic Salvatore, begin to make their way to the ring and, as usual, Gio has a microphone in his hand. They enter the ring as Gio dances around a bit.
Gio DeLuca: You know who I am. I’m Gio DeLuca. This fella ova here? He’s Dominic Salvatore. And we’re The Haters. In the ring you have two guys that are making their way up. First we beat them Gaines boys at Next Level Revolution. Now we puttin’ out an open challenge because we know we need to get some attention. Wade sits back there and sees Spectres and some Freaks as the top teams in EW. He’s wrong and we hate that! Anyone who doesn’t think The Haters are the team to beat, we hate ‘em! So who think they got what it takes to step up?
There’s a long pause before “Plane to Spain” by Basshunter kicks up in the Warehouse. Jessica Sears comes bopping onto the stage with a big smile on her face and a wave to the fans as they cheer wildly.
Gemma Foster: That’s Jessica Sears! She’s one of the newest talents signed by EW! She’s competed all across the country and has made her way to EW and it looks like she’s ready to answer the challenge.
Jessica Sears: YATTA! Hello, New York!
She throws her arms out in excitement and the fans cheer aloud. The quote and the pose are easily recognized by some of the crowd. Then she brings the mic back to talk.
Jessica Sears: I promised to be kicking the New Year off with a bang and this is exactly what I had in mind. This being a tag team match challenge, I was lucky enough to know someone perfect for the job.
“Beat It” by Fall Out Boy feat. John Mayer kicked up as the fans gave another pop and Rosalyn Fernandes made her way to the stage. The fans in attendance were crazy for her return.
Scott Parker: Another new EW talent but she’s no stranger to the BWF community. That’s Rosalyn Fernandes, formerly Rosalyn Pryce-Darling, a former BWF Tag Team Champion alongside EW’s own Derrick Daze.
Rosalyn Fernandes: You put out this challenge and you're going to regret it. There’s always a price to pay, so congratulations… You’re fucked.
Jessica Sears: It’s time to level up or shut up, Gio. GAME ON!
Sears and Fernandes charge the ring as the Haters get ready.

|| Promises ||
The bowels of The EW Warehouse fade into view with the scene stripped of all colour. Road cases and lighting equipment are haphazardly strewn about. The camera then slowly pans over to show a man leaning against a wall with his hands clasped over the handle of an umbrella. He is sporting round sunglasses and a neutral expression.
Ben Macbeth: “It is a new year. Many people will use this as an opportunity to make promises. Promises to themselves, to their friends, their loved ones. Promises for improvement, promises to achieve goals. Promises, promises.”
A smirk.
Ben Macbeth: “The vows that these liars make will remain unfulfilled. Oh, they will try. They will make plans. They will talk. What they will not do is succeed. Do not count me among these..liars. For when Benjamin Macbeth makes a promise, he keeps it.”
Macbeth adjusts his posture and taps the point of his umbrella into the concrete.
Ben Macbeth: “Empire Wrestling is a showcase for the untested. A battle ground for the ambitious. You will hear talk of plans and of the shape of things to come from a great many competitors on this roster. Most of them are among the aforementioned liars. I am not.”
He spins the umbrella and it comes to rest over his shoulder.
Ben Macbeth: “This, our 2016th year after His death will see Benjamin Macbeth debut with Empire Wrestling. It will see me make promises. It will see me collect on said promises made. Empire Wrestling, I am Benjamin Macbeth and I am your new standard bearer.”
Macbeth leans into the camera and lowers his sunglasses down the bridge of his nose.
Ben Macbeth: “You would be best served to take note.”
With that the scene fades away, Macbeth walking out of frame with a subdued chuckle that echoes after we are left with nothing.

|| Promises ||
