Dark Match: Before the show, Old Guard and the Grrrls (Mayhew and Fischer) squared off in a Warfare Series match. Each team showcased a lot of tags to try and stay fresh. The match looked to be coming to a close when Mathews tried to lock in the Luke Lock on Mayhew. Fischer came in and hit him with a Bicycle Knee Strike and then turned, hitting Blazenwing with the Fisch Hook. This allowed Mayhew to hit the Not Just Another Frog Splash on Mathews and picked up a win for the team.
Episode #46 - July 17, 2020
Scott Parker: It’s Hype 46 and welcome everyone! As always I’m Scott Parker and with me is Gemma Foster. Gemma, tonight is an action packed show as we have SEVEN matches booked for tonight. The night will be headlined by a big World Championship match as Lacy Nelson puts the championship on the line against Casey Grey!
Gemma Foster: Will she though? Casey has been off her rocker, Scott. First she was upset she didn’t have a match against Lacy, now that she has it she’s upset because she’s focused on Alicia? I don’t get it.
Scott Parker: Well we have three more Warfare Series matches tonight, on top of an Extreme Division match, and two debuts. Tonight should be a lot of fun. Before we came on air, the team of Bailey Mayhew and Brighton Fischer defeated the Tag Team Champions, the Old Guard, in a Warfare Series bout. They were able to beat the champs and are sitting at 14 points while the Old Guard are still sitting at the top with 17.
Warfare Series
Midnight Special (Josh Cherry/Harvey Carbine) Vs. The Crew (Josh and Jack Williams)
Scott Parker: Let’s start things off with some Warfare Series!
Cherry and Carbine walked out onto the stage with a more sour look on their faces than normal.
Gemma Foster: Cherry and Carbine here solo tonight as Ben Macbeth suffered an injury at the latest OATH show. I’m told he will be back for his match against AJ Adams next week for the Primetime Championship bout.
Midnight Special rolled into the ring and posed on the middle ropes before knocking forearms. They moved around the ring as The Crew jogged out to the stage. They gave each other a pep talk at the top of the ramp before looking down to Midnight Special. Josh and Jack started their walk to the ring as Cherry and Carbine chatted in their corner. The Crew jumped into the ring and started to decide who was going to start things off for them. Carbine helped them decide by knocking Josh down and then clotheslining Jack over the ropes. Josh jumped back to his feet and was blasted with a forearm to the face from Carbine. Josh came back with a forearm of his own and then a hard chop. Carbine just smiled and then returned the hard chop to the chest. Josh tried to jump onto Carbine but was driven into the mat with a spinebuster. Jack jumped into the ring and Carbine ducked a clothesline and countered into a German suplex. Carbine made a tag to Cherry who jumped into the ring and hit Josh with a step up enziguri.
Scott Parker: Midnight Special just tearing through The Crew.
Cherry slipped behind Josh as he stood and hit him with a Tequila Sunrise suplex and bridged into a pin, getting two before Jack broke it up. Cherry got to his feet and Jack hit him with a spinning back elbow which caused him to stagger into Josh, hitting him with a German.
Gemma Foster: All in on Black!
Josh crawled into a cover and Cherry kicked out at two. Both men were slow to their feet as they went for their corners. They both made a tag and Carbine and Jack got into the ring. Jack hit Carbine with a slingblade takedown and rolled to his feet. Jack looked for a DDT but was pushed away by Carbine. Carbine rocked Jack with a discus forearm and then a scoop slam. Jack started to stand and was rocked with a Knee Trembler. Carbine started to set Jack up for the Into The Void (Wild Bomb; High Speed Running Powerbomb) and Josh jumped into the ring. Cherry jumped to the top ropes and came off, hitting Josh with the Citizen Kane (Kane’s Top Rope Lariat). Carbine hit Into the Void on Jack and then made a tag to Cherry who was back to the apron. Midnight Special hit Jack with the Minutes to Midnight (Slingblade [Cherry] / Backside Spear [Carbine]) and Cherry made the cover, picking up the victory as Carbine held off Josh.
Gemma Foster: That’s going to bring EMBLEM up to a total of 14 points in the Warfare Series.
Carbine pulled Cherry up and the two knocked forearms before rolling out of the ring.
Scott Parker: Ben Macbeth would be happy with this performance by Cherry and Carbine.
HIPPA and TMI
Fenryr and Rune sit in the back of the warehouse when Karli walks up.
Rune Sigidottir: Well, look who decides to show up this week.
Karli Frost: Yeah. What's going on?
Rune Sigidottir: Nothing. I'm glad that you found the strength to leave your house tonight. And while your presence is, as always, so pleasant, you're wasting your time. There's no match tonight.
Karli Frost: I thought...don't we have a match with Dishonor this week?
Rune Sigidottir: No. We don't. You had that match last week. You know, last week when you decided not to come to wrestle and cost us in the Warfare tournament.
Karli Frost: That was...last week?
Rune Sigidottir: Yeah. And since you were out, Fenryr had to take on two opponents by themselves. Two people he would have beaten if they hadn't obviously cheated by ganging up on him two to one.
Karli Frost: I'm sorry, I just...I was sick. In case you haven't noticed, Rune, it's been important to stay home if you're not feeling well for the last few months.
Rune Sigidottir: Yeah? What was wrong?
Karli Frost: I don't know. I'm better now, though.
Rune Sigidottir: They said you couldn't talk.
Karli looks like she'd just seen a ghost.
Karli Frost: I didn't tell anyone that. But, now that you mention it, it's true. It was weird. My tongue was all swollen up, like in those internet stories you read about people that lick envelopes and get a bunch of roach eggs embedded in their tongue that hatch and...
Fenryr and Rune look sick and run off in opposite directions. Karli shrugs.
Karli Frost: Was it something I said? Karli sits at a table backstage and pulls a burger out of her White Castle bag and starts to eat.
Extreme Division Match
AJ Jenkynx Vs. Mary Mallon
Gemma Foster: This one should be interesting, Scott. I was told that Zoey HAS been cleared to return but, to be on the safe side, they held her out of this week’s show. After last week’s match between Jenkynx and Mallon, they were booked for another match tonight and this time we’ll see them compete in an Extreme Division match.
Scott Parker: These two could do very well in the division, Gemma.
Mallon made her way to the ring first and stomped out to the stage. She messed up her hair and charged her way down to the ring and quickly went underneath and pulled out three chairs and tossed them into the ring. She climbed inside and started to pace back and forth as Jenynkx made his way to the stage. He had a bottle of water in his hand and took a big swing before tossing it to the side. He started to make his way down and once he got to the bottom of the ramp, Mallon jumped from the apron and hit him with a knee to the head!
Gemma Foster: Mary Mallon taking the fight to AJ Jenkynx.
Mallon pulled Jenkynx up to his feet and the two started to brawl on the outside of the ring. Mallon bounced Jenkynx head first off the steel steps as he started to escape by walking around the ring. She went after him but he hit her with a hard elbow to the head and then tossed her into the barricade. Jenkynx hit Mallon with a German suplex on the floor. Jenkynx pulled Mallon up and rolled her into the ring. Mallon snatched a chair and dove through the ropes with it, cracking it over the skull of Jenkynx.
Scott Parker: Mallon just hit a tope suicida with a chair in hand!
Mallon swung the chair down on Jenkynx and hit him in the side with it. She pulled him up and rolled him into the ring. She slid in after him and he was getting to his feet in the corner. She charged and looked for a corner splash but Jenkynx moved out of the way and she hit the corner hard. He grabbed her from behind and hit another German suplex. Mallon got to her feet and was lifted up and driven down with a Samoan drop. Jenkynx started to climb to the top turnbuckle and got himself ready. He dove, looking for a diving headbutt, but Mallon moved out of the way.
Gemma Foster: Crash and burn!
Mallon hit the ropes as Jenkynx stood and hit him with the Seventh Plague (Running Big Boot. She looked for a cover but he kicked out at two. Jenkynx got to his feet and fell into the corner. Mallon started to approach and Jenkynx hit her with a spinning back kick to the gut. He quickly pulled her in and drove her into the mat with a DDT. He rolled out of the ring and started to search and pulled out a kendo stick. He climbed back inside and cracked it over the back of Mallon as she started to stand. Mallon almost chuckled as she stood and he cracked the kendo stick over her head as she dropped. Jenkynx covered and got a two count before Mallon kicked out. Jenkynx couldn’t believe it and started to hit Mallon with a flurry of right hands before pulling her to her feet. Jenkynx started to lift her up for the Bitter End but she countered into a small package and got two before he kicked out. They both got to their feet and Mallon hit Jenkynx with the Sixth Plague (Striking Spear). Jenkynx started to get to his knees and was rocked with a kick to the chest and then a knee to the head. This stunned Jenkynx and Mallon hit him with a sliding clothesline.
Scott Parker: Lots of back and forth action but Mallon is taking charge right now.
Mallon grabbed a chair and slammed it onto the elbow of Jenkynx and then stomped on it. She turned the chair and drove it end first into the elbow of Jenkynx. He grabbed at his elbow as he got to his feet. Mallon charged for another Sixth Plague but she ran into a kick to the chest. Jenkynx tried to hit the Broken Dreams (Tiger Driver) but he couldn’t quite lift her with his elbow damaged. Mallon spun away and flipped him over, locking in the Ninth Plague (Fujiwara Arm Bar) and forcing a submission.
Gemma Foster: Mary Mallon forces the submission here tonight to pick up her first win, a little redemption after losing to AJ last week.
Mallon grinned as she crawled across the mat and rolled out of the ring. Jenkynx sat up and rubbed his elbow and stared down Mallon as she left and we went to commercial.
Take the pledge
Warfare Series
The Haters (Gio DeLuca & Dominic Salvatore) Vs. The Kingsmen (Junji Buranku & Mr. Fixit)
When we came back from commercial, DeLuca and Salvatore were standing in the ring. DeLuca, of course, with a microphone in hand.
Gio DeLuca: Hey, AJ Jerkoff. I saw you being a keyboard warrior this week. You think you got jokes putting my name in your mouth? Tough talk coming from the guy that just got bitched in the last match. You better hope I don’t see you backstage or I’mma finna finish what Mary Mallon started tonight.
DeLuca dropped the microphone as the lights turned red and out came the Kingsmen. Junji walked slightly ahead of Fixit tonight and removed his mask. The two looked at each other and made their way to the ring. Junji climbed to the top rope and posed as Fixit climbed into the ring. Junji jumped down and the two quickly started to attack the Haters. Fixit caught Salvatore off guard with the Fixed (Powerful Haymaker). Salvatore rolled out of the ring and DeLuca started to throw wild punches at Junji. Junji hit DeLuca with a hard kick to the leg and then delivered the Akuma Buster (Leapfrog Facebuster).
Gemma Foster: The Kingsmen trying to end this one early, Scott.
Junji covered DeLuca and got a two count as he kicked out. Fixit kept an eye on Salvatore on the outside as he stood on the apron. Junji pulled DeLuca up and seemed set to lift him up but DeLuca countered into a DDT. DeLuca knocked Fixit off the apron, near Salvatore. Salvatore was up and hit Fixit with a suplex. DeLuca started to climb to the middle ropes and wanted to hit Bite Your Tongue (Jumps off 2nd rope to DDT) but as he jumped, Junji jumped up with a dropkick.
Scott Parker: Great counter there from Junji.
Salvatore climbed into the ring and hit Junji with a lariat. He hit the ropes and dropped him with a shoulder tackle as he stood. Junji started to stand and Salvatore looked for a big boot and Junji moved, Salvatore hitting DeLuca instead!
Gemma Foster: Oh no! Miscommunication there between the Haters.
Salvatore bent down to check on DeLuca and was tossed over the top rope to the floor. Salvatore stood and was hit with Fixed yet again. Junji made his way to the top as Fixit climbed into the ring and lifted DeLuca up for an electric chair, Junji diving and they hit Clearing His Throne (Electric Chair(Fixit)/Shining Wizard from top rope [Junji]). Junji covered and picked up the victory.
Junji and Fixit had their hands raised in victory before they took a knee facing the ramp.
Gemma Foster: Daemon must be watching from the back and the Kingsmen pick up a big win to bring their total to 10 points in the Warfare Series.
Strange Magic III
The lights suddenly go out in the warehouse.
Scott Parker: This is perfect. Who is paying the electric bill around here?
The screen flickers to life, and after a moment of static and white noise, a black and white scene opens on a dark table in the woods. Candles are spread over it, and candles also form a circle around the clearing. Large live oak trees dominate, and the hanging Spanish moss gives the scene an eerie feel.
The scene cuts to the table, which looks like some sort of an altar. Other than the candles, there is a small plastic model of a black car and a burning brazier. A hand, delicate and adorned with jewelry, passes over the candles. The flames flicker. The hand settles over the car. The tires on the car are shown being peeled off and thrown into the fire. After the last one is gone, the entire thing is thrown into the brazier. The camera focuses through the smoke as the model car and tires melt into a puddle of nothing.
Female Voice: So be it.
Gemma Foster: What does this mean? And I'm getting tired of this!
Scott Parker: I don't know, but I know someone that drives a black car.
Gemma Foster: You don't think...?
Scott Parker: I don't know, Gemma.
Gemma Foster: I'm just saying. It looks like someone is targeting our wrestlers with...magic or voodoo or something and with what Alicia said at Afterparty last week it looks like she may have given out some ammunition against Casey.
Scott Parker: Honestly, if anyone needs to be dealt with right now, it's Casey. She's completely flipped her lid. Maybe Lacy Nelson can beat some sense into her tonight and things can go back to normal around here.
The camera turned backstage as we saw Lacy Nelson in the middle of lacing up her boots with the EW World Championship sitting beside her. Then we cut to Casey Grey pacing in her locker room in anticipation of tonight’s main event.
Austin Scott Vs. Angel Kash
“Kick it in the Sticks” started to play and out came Austin Scott. He wore his cowboy hat low and removed his sunglasses before tossing them on his way to the ring.
Gemma Foster: It’s been a rough go ever since Austin Scott lost the Extreme Championship. Last week he had a hard fought match with Ursula Von Rossbach but she proved to be too much for him.
Scott tossed his hat as he moved around the ring and was ready for a fight. As “Superficial” started to play throughout the Warehouse, Angel Kash appeared from behind the curtain and walked out onto the stage. She put her arms out as she stood in the center of the stage and looked around, now looking frustrated. She scoffed and made her way down the ramp and she snatched a microphone from the announce table. She started to storm back up the ramp and turned to the camera.
Angel Kash: No, no, no. This is ALL wrong. The spotlight was supposed to shine down on me and the lights were supposed to dim 19% during my entrance. There was no spotlight and that was only 16%. Unacceptable. I will not compete until the production crew gets it right.
She slams the microphone down and leaves the stage, leaving Austin Scott looking around confused.
Gemma Foster: Well, that just happened.
Tia Santos Vs. Jason Evans
“De Donde Salí” by Leymy started to fill the Warehouse and out came Tia Santos. She had a bandana over her mouth and she struck a pose at the top of the ramp. She pulled the bandana down and started to make her way down the ramp.
Scott Parker: This match has potential to be an explosive one.
Santos took a knee in the corner and said a few words to herself, awaiting her opponent. “Time Bomb” started to play and the giant DISHONOR flashed on the jumbotron as Jason Evans walked out with Kaito Hirano behind him. Evans and Hirano said a few things to each other and Hirano made his way to the back. Evans jumped up and down for a moment on the top of the stage and made his way down.
Gemma Foster: Evans has only had a few matches in his short career but it’s easy to see he has talent. If he can put it all together he might go somewhere in Empire Wrestling.
Evans was in the ring and took a moment to stretch on the ropes and came out ready to grapple. Santos met him in the middle of the ring and looked for a quick chick kick that he was able to duck. Evans looked for a German suplex but Santos flipped behind him and landed on her feet. He rolled to his knees and to his feet quickly and Santos was there with a headscissors takedown. Evans flipped up to his feet and went for a pump kick that Santos dodged with a cartwheel. Santos turned and grabbed Evans and looked to take him down with a monkey flip but he landed on his feet.
Gemma Foster: Matching each other move for move early on, Scott!
Evans hit the ropes with a springboard and twisted in the air and grabbed Santos for a tornado DDT. He rolled her into a cover just getting one as she kicked out and rolled to her feet. She met Evans with a hard chop to the chest and then a forearm to the face. She sent Evans into the corner and he quickly ran up the turnbuckles and jumped to the top. He turned and dove, taking her down with a meteora. He rolled to his feet and Santos popped up into a spider walk as he approached her, throwing him off. She then proceeded to hit a combination called the Danze de la Araña (Dance of the Spider) [Tia performs the spider walk to throw off her opponent. She then thrust her body up and strikes them with a handstand pele like kick to the head. She immediately follows up with a mule kick and rolls forward. As the opponent falls back on their butt, Tia comes running in with a basement dropkick].
Scott Parker: What was that!?
Santos dropped onto a cover on Evans and got a two count before he kicked out. She waited a few moments as Evans started to get to his feet and ran to the ropes, springboarding into a moonsault and pulled him in for a reverse DDT, driving him into the mat. Santos made her way into the corner and made the climb to the top rope. She said a few words at the top and dove, hitting a big elbow across the chest of Evans. She was fired up after a moment went into a cover, getting two before he was able to kick out.
Gemma Foster: That slight hesitation there might’ve just been enough to let Jason Evans kick out.
Santos started to pull Evans to his feet but he hit her with a jawbreaker. He lifted her up and delivered Fate's Dagger (Falcon Arrow) and pulled her leg back for a cover, getting two before a kickout. Evans wasted no time as he pulled her up and scoop slammed her near the corner. He climbed to the top ropes and looked for the Red Line (450 Splash) but she got her knees up! He grabbed at his ribs as he stood and Santos followed. She pulled him in and delivered the Beso de Muerte (Kiss of Death) [Tia wraps an arm around the opponent’s neck and bends them back (think Bray Wyatt’s Sister Abigail). She places a kiss on the forehead of her opponent before transitioning her arm around the back of their neck and performs a Dream DDT.]. Santos rolled Evans into a cover and picked up a pinfall victory in her first Empire Wrestling match.
Santos raised her own hand in victory as she leaned into the ropes. She said a few things to Evans in Spanish before climbing out to the apron.
Scott Parker: Tia Santos is victorious here in Empire Wrestling and I’d love to see those two go at it again.
Harper Blake Vs. Marilyn Lee Cross
After a brief commercial we had Cross in the ring, ready for her match. She rocked side to side as she looked up at the stage, awaiting Blake. Blake’s music hit and she stormed out to the stage. She shouted down at Cross to get ready and Cross only smiled and invited her down to the ring. Blake charged the ring and slid in under the ropes, quickly popping up, only to spear Cross to the mat. The two started to roll around the ring, throwing hard punches at each other. They both got to their feet and Cross hit Blake with a hard palm strike. Blake ducked under a short-arm lariat and flipped back to hit Cross with a pelé kick. Blake got to her feet and readied herself as Cross started to stand and rocked her with a spinning backfist to the side of the head. Cross fell into the ropes and was quickly speared through the ropes and onto the apron. They bounced off the apron and fell to the mat. Blake crawled a few feet away and got to her feet as Cross started to stand as well. Blake charged and Cross jumped onto the apron. Blake turned and was hit with a hard kick to the face as Cross ran the apron. Blake took a few steps backwards and Cross dove, hitting her with a flying headscissors!
Gemma Foster: These two are really going at it, Scott!
Cross climbed to her feet and hurried in under the ropes at the count of 6. At 8, Blake was trying to make her way back in. She slid in just before ten and was safe. Cross looked for the Knee Harvey Oswald (Running Knee to the side of an opponent's head) as Blake started to get up but Blake was able to dodge it. Blake was up and rocked Cross with the Future Sight (V-Trigger). Cross bounced into the ropes and Blake grabbed her and looked for a brainbuster but Cross hit her with a knee as she was lifted into the air and came back down on her feet. Cross lifted Blake up and pulled her onto her shoulders. Blake reached out and grabbed the top ropes and Cross flipped her to the apron. Cross went at Blake but was hit with a step up kick to the head. Blake pulled Cross out onto the apron and hit her with a headbutt. Cross came back with a headbutt of her own and lifted Blake onto her shoulders and hit the Do A Barrel Roll (Cartwheel Death Valley Driver) on the apron!
Scott Parker: Marilyn Lee Cross just drove the back of Harper Blake into the apron!
Blake was in pain as she reached backwards and Cross climbed back into the ring. The referee started the count but Blake could not back it back in time, giving Cross the countout win.
Cross had her hand raised in victory as a trainer came out to check on Blake. Cross leaned onto the ropes and looked out at Blake before leaving the ring and heading to the back. Blake got up on her own and pushed away the trainers.
Gemma Foster: That was a nasty bump for Harper but she seems to be leaving on her own.
EW World Championship
Casey Grey Vs. Lacy Nelson (c)
Scott Parker: It’s time for the main event, folks. The World Championship is on the line in this one so buckle in.
“Coming Undone” by Korn started to play and out came Casey Grey. She adjusted her elbow pads on the stage and rolled her neck around before heading to the ring. She walked around the ring and stopped at the announce table and started to yell at Gemma Foster and Scott Parker about how unfairly she’s been treated in Empire Wrestling.
Gemma Foster: Scott, she’s getting a World Championship opportunity here, tonight. Is that unfair?
Scott Parker: In Casey’s eyes, yes.
Grey climbed onto the apron and “Come and Get It” started to blast in the Warehouse and out came the World Champion, Lacy Nelson, with a big smile on her face. She removed her sunglasses and put them in a front pocket of her jacket before opening it up to show the World Championship.
Scott Parker: It’s been three months since Lacy Nelson won the World Championship and she’s been on a roll since. She’s beaten both Brighton Fischer and Daniel Daemon in championship defenses and is looking to add another here tonight.
Nelson took off her jacket and laid it down on the stage as she stomped her foot twice and fixed her kickpads. Grey sat back and watched as Nelson made her way down the ramp and up into the ring. She removed the championship and held it high in the air, looking up at it with a smile. She handed it off to the referee and we got the introduction for the match. The bell rang and things started with a standard lock up. Grey pulled Nelson into a headlock and was quickly pushed off. Nelson looked for a quick ace cutter but was also pushed away. Grey rocked Nelson with the Breath Mint (Forearm Smash) when she turned back around and dropped her to the mat. Grey quickly covered but only got one as the champion kicked out.
Gemma Foster: Casey Grey tried to end it quick there, Scott!
Nelson got to her feet and backed away and readied herself. Grey charged but Nelson ducked under her and took her to the mat with a swinging neckbreaker. Both ladies rolled to their feet and Nelson delivered a hard kick to the gut. Nelson hit a picture perfect Tiger Driver ‘98 as Grey hit the mat hard! Nelson rolled her into a cover just barely getting two as Grey kicked out. Nelson didn’t let up and pulled Grey up by her hair and tossed her into the corner. Nelson charged and looked for a big corner boot to the face but Grey moved out of the way. The leg of Nelson was caught on the top rope and Grey kicked the other knee out from under her, bringing her to the mat. Nelson landed on her back and Grey followed it up with an elbow drop. Grey mounted and started to punch Nelson wildly. The referee stepped in and started to force a break of the closed fist punches as Nelson’s legs were under the ropes. Nelson rolled out of the ring for a moment and Grey yelled at the referee. Grey jumped to the apron and had her feet pulled and she landed butt first on the apron. Nelson swung her around so that her lower half was in the ring and her head was facing out. Nelson charged and hit a big lifting knee to the head of Grey! Nelson rolled Grey into the ring and covered, getting two before a kick out. Nelson got into the corner and pointed at Grey as she started to get up. Nelson looked for the Hollywood Split (Shining Wizard) but Grey moved and rolled her up with a school boy pin, getting two!
Gemma Foster: Casey almost getting a sneaky win there with that roll up!
They both popped up to their feet and Grey looked for another Breath Mint but Nelson ducked it and hit her with Le Gasp (Lungblower Backbreaker). Nelson climbed to her feet and started to set Grey up for a figure four leglock but Grey kicked her away. Grey rolled to her feet and Nelson charged right into the Bitch Muzzle (Crossface)! Nelson refused to submit and started to crawl to the ropes. Grey rolled and it moved Nelson back to the center of the ring!
Scott Parker: Grey is screaming at Nelson to tap!
Nelson refused and rolled just enough to get Grey’s shoulders on the mat, getting a two before Grey kicked out. Grey tried to lock it back in but Nelson was able to slip away. Grey wanted to hit the Copperhead Road (Cobra Clutch/Single Knee Backstabber) as she locked in the clutch but Nelson hit her with a hard back elbow to the head. Grey staggered away and Nelson connected with a dragon suplex. Nelson flipped her hair and her attitude changed quickly to a serious, pissed off look. Grey got to her feet and hit Nelson with a chop. Nelson roared and dropped Grey with a big headbutt. Nelson stumbled backwards and shook it off as Grey started to stand. Grey looked for a big clothesline and Nelson ducked it. Grey kept running the ropes and was rocked with a superkick!
Gemma Foster: Superkick!
Nelson quickly grabbed Grey and pulled her up before hitting the Headline (Eat Defeat). Nelson sat on the chest of Grey and picked up the victory.
Gemma Foster: And just like that it’s over. Lacy Nelson retains here tonight!
Nelson took a deep breath as she moved her hair from her face and was handed the championship. She held it up high as her hand was raised and she fell into the ropes. She held the title out and looked into the camera. She started to turn around and Grey was beginning to stir. Nelson thought it over and reached her hand down to offer her up. Grey was pulled up and said thanks before hitting Nelson with the Breath Mint!
Scott Parker: Boo! Nelson trying to be a good sport and Grey just blasted her in the face.
Grey stomped on Nelson and gave her a kick to the gut as she was down on the mat. Grey rolled out of the ring and grabbed a steel chair and climbed back in quickly. Nelson started to stand and Grey rammed the chair into her gut, dropping her to a knee. Grey was lining up a shot to the head when Alicia Monroe rushed down!
Gemma Foster: Here comes Alicia for the save!
Monroe slid into the ring and she and Grey started to exchange blows. Grey quickly got the best of her as she hit her with a belly to belly slam onto the chair. Grey snatched the chair and swung it down on Monroe. She yelled out to Parker and Foster to “bring me FM!”. It didn’t take long before FM Young appeared on the stage and asked if Grey really wanted to do this. Grey slammed the chair down and readied herself. Young pointed behind Grey and she turned around and Nelson rocked her with a superkick! Grey hit the mat and rolled out of the ring as Nelson grabbed the chair and chucked it over the top. Monroe started to chase after Grey and Grey ran up the ramp right into Young. Grey and Young started to brawl at the top of the ramp.
Scott Parker: Casey Grey has it coming from all sides, Gemma!
Young hit the Man-Machine Interface (Discus Clothesline) onto Grey and was fired up. Nelson sat on the top rope, looking out, watching. Monroe met up with Young and they pulled Grey up. Grey started to fight back again and hit Monroe with a kick to the gut and Young with a hard back elbow. Grey jumped off the stage and moved away quickly as trainers came out to try and keep the peace. Grey shouted at Young and Monroe as they tried to get to her but were held back.
Scott Parker: That’s all the time we have folks!
The final shot was Grey pointing at Young and Monroe saying she hates them, walking away with trainers getting her to leave.
