Empire Wrestling Application
Name: Molly Matchet
Height: 5' 3"
Weight: 125 lbs.
Hometown: St. Fillian's, Perthshire, Scotland
Alignment: Chaotic Face
Entrance Music: Shipping Up To Boston/Enter Sandman - Dropkick Murphy's/Metallica cover by The Goddesses of Bagpipe
Note- The Sandman Portion of the song plays as her victory music.
Fighting Style: Aerial/MMA-Brawler/Submission
Basic Moves: Molly favors alot of acrobatic, fast hit and run kinds of tactics. Highly flippy, very aerial offense oriented, but she can go toe to toe in a stand up fight and will work limbs over in joint locks and submission holds. She will absolutely dominate on the ground with BJJ holds in particular. She can literally do anything the writer wants. I only ask that she doesn't use dirty tactics unless her opponent starts using them first. If opponents cheat, she loses all respect and starts pulling dirty moves on them basically.
Signature Moves:
Spiral Dropkick - A fast spinning dropkick that can be done diving, springboard, standing, or running
The Donny Brocker Lock - Front Facelock STO
Ginger Ninja-Steiner - Prone Kip Up to Frankensteiner
The Molly Bomber - Diving Cannonball Swanton Bomb
A Splash of Ginger - Stinger Splash in the corner
Glascow Kiss - Jumping Headbutt
Ginger Snap German Suplex (Loves busting this out on someone on a ladder)
Whisky Bomb - Superwoman Punch
Finishing Moves:
Ginger Ninja Death Drop - 720 Satellite DDT (Diving, Springboard, or Running)
The Hurt Locker - Omoplata Submission hold
The Hatchet Job - Falcon Arrow Face-Buster
Quote: "FAWK YYYYEEEAAAAHHH!!!"
Superstar History: Molly Hatchet is the bastard daughter of an unknown Welsh sailor and her mother, Lindsey Hatchet, who cheated on the man who would become known as her legal father, Chadwick Bronnel O'Hatherine. Her legal father is a staunch believer of "Until Death do us Part" and never allowed Lindsey to divorce him, instead taking out physical and emotional abuse on both her and Molly on a constant, daily basis. This abusive upbringing saw Molly becoming an alcoholic by the time she was 13 as a way to cope. The Ginger Ninja's childhood was horrible, but she was bound and determined to never be like her parents. She moved to the America's after buying passage on a cargo freighter from Scotland after running away from home at 16 years of age, using money she had gained by both participating in and illegally betting on back alley street brawls. To say she knows how to fight dirty is an understatement as she can out-brawl men often twice her size by simply knowing where to hit and how to do the most damage while also using cheeky, underhanded tactics to get around them.
Shortly after moving to America, however, she found herself involved in brawls to make a living. Early in life, she looked so much like a long haired boy that most never questioned her gender. They assumed with her mouth and looks that she was a snot nosed kid that needed to be taught a lesson, but more often than not, she used her smarts and a little bit of alcohol enhanced pain tolerance to both survive the most severe of blows while also outfoxing her opponents. She didn't win all the time, but she was such a fierce fighter that she became a rather respected local figure in the New Jersey fight scene. She spent most of a year gaining US citizenship and the ability to work legally in the United States. It was at this time that a Talent Scout for Atlantic City Entertainment was sitting in attendance for one of her underground brawling shows. She impressed the scout with her ability to the point that a call was made to Samantha Bevins and after an initial interview, she found herself wrestling within the confines of the Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall under a modest contract. Despite being one of the lowest paid employees in the company at the time, she brought passion and fire to every match she participated in.
Her career was nearly ended shortly after it began, however, when she met who would become her ultimate nemesis in professional wrestling, Ursula Von Rossbach. All was not well in the land of ACE as Ms. Bevins began to manipulate things so that her chosen favorites could get ahead over the rest of the roster. This led to more than a few rebellions here and there against what became her Conglomerate, which included the likes of Ursula Von Rossbach as her primary enforcer. Molly made the mistake of mouthing off to Ms. Bevins one night and the result was Ursula being sicced on her.
At the time, Molly was very green and found herself soundly battered and broken at Ursula's feet. She was nearly paralyzed for life, but if not for the assistance of Irish wrestling legend, Rory "Silverhand" Fitzpatrick, she likely never would've recovered. He took the young aspiring wrestler under his wing and gave her many of the fundamental skills she would still employ to this day. From his teachings she became a wrestling savant of sorts, able to adapt and learn rather quickly. When ACE closed, she was an undefeated Wildkard Champion, and would go on to win a multitude of honors and titles across the globe, but there are two goals she has never accomplished.
She's never been a World Champion and she's never beaten Ursula Von Rossbach in a one on one encounter. Each time they fought, it drew closer and closer and it is this desire that has brought her to Empire Wrestling. She hopes to slay two dragons that have always eluded her.
The Ginger Ninja is a well traveled wrestler, having worked in the UK, Canada, US, Mexico, and even Italian wrestling territories. She's learned the language of each place she has wrestled or a substantial length of time in, most notably two years in Japan which serves to be where many of her fans are in the world. She is a beloved figure in Japanese wrestling despite her status as a Gaijin. She has such a strong love and respect for the culture and is often an unofficial ambassador for newer wrestlers going to the country for the first time. Japan was where she became known as a Death Match specialist as she was put through brutal hell by particular promoters who were rather racist against Foreign wrestlers but she took it all in stride and not only proved him wrong, but made money for the company everytime.
In recent years, she's tried to rekindle her American audience to disastrous results as it seems every company she's joined either doesn't know what to do with her or misuses her to the point of confusing the fans and forcing her away. It has lead to somewhat of a bad reputation locally in the U.S. but she's hoping that Empire Wrestling will be the place that will help her overcome that.
