Dark Match: Before the show, Aaron Kincade was given a try out match against Gio DeLuca. Gio came out alone for this one and got a few quick blows in the Kincade. DeLuca even thought he had the match won at one point with a roll-up but Kincade was able to kick out. Kincade connected with his Dreamkiller and looked for a cover but DeLuca kicked out. After a couple more minutes of back and forth action, Kincade set up DeLuca for the Death Sentence [Dragon Screw Neck Whip] and ended the match. WINNER: Aaron Kincade
At the start of the show we got a recap of the Warfare Series and the current standings, showing up with the Old Guard in the lead with 17 points. We were also treated to some hype, no pun intended, for the main event of AJ Adams defending the Primetime Championship against Ben Macbeth.
Warfare Series
Midnight Special (Josh Cherry/Harvey Carbine) Vs. The Grrrls [Bailey Mayhew & Caitlin Shay)
In the first matchup of the night, the Grrrls and Midnight Special competed in what was a hot tag affair. Each team kept trying to one up the other, Mayhew and Shay using speed and Midnight Special coming with old fashioned smash mouthed wrestling. It looked like Cherry had the match won after hitting Cherry’s Jubilee (Jump Stalling Sidekick) but the referee had missed the tag before he got into the ring. As the referee forced Cherry out of the ring, this allowed Mayhew to jump into the ring and hit Carbine with the Brain Damage (Chris Hero's Death Blow) and Shay rolled him up into a small package, Mayhew taking Cherry off the apron, they picked up the upset win over the former champions.
WINNERS: Bailey Mayhew & Catlin Shay
Brighton Fischer Vs. FM Young
Young and Fischer put on a great back and forth bout as they kept trying to one up each other with hard hitting moves and kicks. Fischer hit a big moonsault to a standing Young on the outside and rolled her in, looking for a cover but just got two. Fischer wanted to start to end things as she hit the ripcord knee and then looked for the bicycle knee strike but Young had it scouted and blocked the knee before hitting the Man-Machine Interface and got a near fall. After a couple dragon suplexes, Young sent Fischer into the corner. Fischer countered with a big boot and climbed to the top, looking for the Gone Fischin’ but missing as Young moved. Young delivered the Heart of a Phoenix and picked up the win.
WINNER: FM Young
Warfare Series
Ragnarok (Fenryr & Karli Frost) Vs. Kayla Taylor & Blake Harper
Harper and Taylor tried to do everything they could to keep Frost in the ring to avoid having to face Fenryr. They worked in a lot of tags to stay fresh and keep Frost near their corner. Frost eventually hit a double bulldog on the two and made a tag. Fenryr started to clear house and dominate the match before Harper focused on his knee to take off his base. The screen flickers to life. On it is Fenryr’s car in the parking lot. His black car. Four tires are flat with knives sticking in them. Karli sees it, and tries to get Fenryr’s attention but she can’t. She jumps down off of the apron and runs outside to the parking lot. Rune is standing near the car.
Rune Sigidottir: What are you doing? Get back inside! You’re in a match! I’ll handle this! The police are already on the way!
Karli nods, stops and turns, running back inside.
Rune pulls a glass bottle of liquid out of her handbag, and stuffs a rag into the opening.
The camera cut back to the ring as Fenryr has now realized he’s by himself. He shouts out to the ring crew wondering where Frost went. This allowed Harper to hit a bicycle knee strike before Taylor connected with the Broadway Lights (Cross Rhodes) and covered for a win.
WINNERS: Kayla Taylor and Blake Harper
Frost made it back to the ring but was too late. She checked on Fenryr and tried to explain what happened as we cut away.
With gloved hands clasped before her and head lowered, Ursula Von Rossbach sits on a bench seemingly lost in contemplation. A long, neat row of jet-black hair covers half of her face. The locker room would be completely quiet if not for the muffled sound of an arena full of people being heard bleeding through the alabaster painted and amber painted walls. In the dim light one can make out the gleam of metal rivets on her stylized wrestling boots that covered leather clad legs right up to her padded knees, a matching top further protecting her modesty while leaving much of her lightly tanned and chiseled physique on display. Slowly her head lifts, eyes snapping open as she regards the man who enters her room, more specifically, the digital eye he held before him that streams her visage out to the masses in the arena and fans watching at home.
UVR: A pity that *Austin Scott* was so focused on the woman that I face in this ring tonight that he found himself easy prey against me. One must not let the downfall of obsession sway their sensibilities when someone who has earned the moniker of Terminator stands before them. It tends to end rather poorly for such individuals. Now I get to see whether or not this Extreme Champion, Zoey Mathews-Mitchell, is worthy of her gold and the obsession of my previous foe as this new upstart seeks to continue the impression she made at the expense of Mr. Scott's body previously.
Ursula's head rolls slightly to the right, her black hair parting further to reveal more of the right side of her face as a result.
UVR: I rather hope that Mrs. Mitchell's condition has had adequate time to process since the tenth of July. As such, I shall be wearing a mask during this particular match.
Dipping forward, the Lady Terminator reaches into a bag underneath her set to produce what appeared to be carved bone affixed to a filtered, metallic half mask.
UVR: A bit dramatic, I know, but it certainly helps everyone to socially distance themselves from me at the grocery store. I have survived far too much to fall to a microscopic organism wreaking havoc inside my body. I pray that biological warfare is not the only weapon she possesses. It would seem that as far as Extreme Champions go, however, that she is a rather tame specimen by comparison. With a recent history of postponing matches and failing to meet her obligations, a modest respect on the surface depreciates with each passing moment. It would seem that her colleagues, "The Girls" spelled G R R R L S...
There is a shudder of disgust as Ursula even has to spell such a repugnant team name on live camera.
UVR: Such idiocy, but nevertheless, they seem to be more prolific and active in recent times. Though despite the apparent death of her social media account, which has not been active since April sixteenth of last year, her last official match is dated on May twenty-ninth, twenty-twenty. Eighty-one days without a title defense of any kind to her name. That to me speaks to the quality of my competition.
Ursula straps the half skull mask to her face and then continues, her voice distorted a bit by the internal curvature and texturing of the mask.
UVR: Zoey Mathews-Mitchell, A champion worth their salt that cannot defend a title due to health, outside obligation, or other matters, should vacate that championship so that a more worthy successor may elevate and defend it. Tonight, Mrs. Mitchell, the burden of proving me right or wrong lay solely upon your shoulders. I walk into this battle with no expectation, only advantage. Eighty-one days is quite the period to go without actually stepping into a ring. I have seen ring rust develop in a mere three weeks without regular competition. I have been going steady since two-thousand and nine with very few breaks. It is time for you to join the club by adding your name to The Resume of Destruction....
The Lady Terminator rises from her seat, rolls her neck, then smiles beneath her mask before exiting the room and stepping out into the hallway.
Angel Kash Vs. Austin Scott
Angel Kash was set to come out first and make her debut in Empire Wrestling. On her way to the ring, Kim Roberts, the new ring announcer, introduced Kash. Kash stopped dead in her tracks and scoffed. Kash turned and started making her way to the back, screaming at the camera that “no one seems to know how to do their jobs. It’s the ‘Trillion Dollar Princess’ Angel Kash. Get it right!” and stormed off behind the curtain and the match never took place.
BURNOUT
Fenryr and Karli run through the back of the warehouse and into the lot. Outside they find Fenryr’s car. It’s burning up. Fenryr turns to Karli. He grabs her by the hair.
Fenryr Wulfsson: What happened?
Karli Frost: I don’t know! I came out here and saw Rune standing there. She said she’d called the police and told me to get back in for the match! Let me go!
Fenryr shoves Karli aside. Rune joins them.
Rune Sigidottir: Hey, you two. How was…oh my god! What happened?
Karli Frost: I don’t know. Why don’t you tell us? You’re the one that was supposed to call the police.
Fenryr Wulfsson: Did you set my car on fire?
Rune Sigidottir: No! Why would I do that? I just got here. I told you last week that I was going to be at the warehouse late tonight. Do you think I’m crazy enough to set up a fake appointment and then burn your car up and act like I just got here to cover it up?
Fenryr looks at Rune with a stern expression.
Rune Sigidottir: Okay, that’s a bad example. But do you think I’m that stupid? That has to be the worst idea anyone could ever have! I didn’t burn up your car. I don’t have a reason to.
Fenryr Wulfsson: One of you knows what happened! Karli says she saw you here and you say you were gone.
Rune Sigidottir: Wait, you lost sight of Karli and you think I did this?
Karli Frost: You think I set the car on fire? You think I want to walk home or take an Uber like some kind of pleb? You’re just way too much sometimes, Rune.
Karli storms away from the group, leaving Rune and Fenryr looking at the heap of smoking metal.
Warfare Series
Daniel Daemon Vs. Kaito Hirano
Hirano worked this match solo as he came out with quick kicks to Daemon to try and take the big man off his feet. Daemon quickly turned the match around to his favor after hitting Hirano with a big boot as he was coming off the top rope for an axe handle smash. Hirano rolled to the outside and Daemon chased after him. Hirano hit him with a drop toe hold onto the steel steps and looked for a running kick to the head but Daemon moved out of the way. He then followed it up with a big chokeslam, driving Hirano into the steel steps. Daemon rolled into the ring and picked up a countout win as Hirano couldn’t make the count.
WINNER: Daniel Daemon
Practical Magic
“Coming Undone” begins to play an instant before Casey walks down the ramp. She’s wearing her ring attire already in anticipation for her match with Alicia. She climbs up the steps and into the ring. She stands in a corner to wait for FM Young.
Helix By Amaranthe hits the speakers, a showered FM Young came out in her usual ripped jeans and worn converse kicks, this time wearing a Volta Happybara T-shirt in tasteful chill gray. She didn’t waste a lot of time in getting to the ring, sliding through the ropes and approaching Casey.
Gemma Foster: Ladies, ladies, please! The purpose of this is to have a nice, calm discussion. It’s not a match and it’s not a street fight. You have a match next week, save it for that, okay?
Casey Grey: Yeah. Sure. Save it.
Casey snatches the microphone.
Casey Grey: But you’re already on my bad side, Gemma. Why don’t you take a step back before some accident tragically happens. Look, Young, I’m only out here because someone in the top office thought it would be a good idea for us to have this little meeting. If it weren’t for their sick and twisted amusement at my current situation we’d already be sluggin’ it out. I really, really hate you and Alicia right now, so maybe you can just get on with anything you have to say? Maybe an apology for bailing?
FM: Casey, I’ve given you apologies, I’ve apologized up down and back again! I’m sorry, Casey! I can’t possibly apologize anymore. What is your deal lately? You’re acting insane, I get it, you’ve gotten a bum go of it lately, but you’ve also gotten a world title challenge and you were pissed about that too. Nothing ever seems to make you happy!
Casey Grey: Happy? How can anyone expect me to be happy? My own flesh and blood lies to me for basically my whole life and I find out in the worst way possible, the only thing I care about is stolen, and then I’m forced to blow up my relationship with my then cousin now worthless sister all because you weren’t here for this whole revenge plot Rune set up for you! The whole thing was to get back at you because you won the title from Fenryr in BWF! This is all your fault!
Casey drops the microphone and heads towards the ropes opposite of FM Young. When she reaches them, the screen flickers to life as the lights go out. On it, a door opens into what looks like a locker room. On a table there is a glass dish, covered, and filled with onions. Underneath, smoldering coals provide heat to burn the onions up. A piece of wood leans against the glass. On it the name “FM Young” is burned. A glitch. Static. Then silence.
Female Voice: So be it.
The lights come back on.
FM Young looks back at Casey, who is leaning on the ropes. Casey shrugs, smiling, before FM Young runs up the ramp to the back. She reaches her locker room and finds Alicia pounding on the door. Young throws the door open and goes to destroy the display but Alicia stops her.
Alicia Monroe: No! You can’t!
Alicia pushes the onions aside, giving herself a slight burn in the process.
Alicia Monroe: You can’t destroy it! I don’t know why she did this Young, but if you destroy it it’ll…it’ll kill you! I’ll help, but I have to go! Just leave it, I'll deal with it!
Alicia runs out of the dressing room and disappears up the stairs and onto the stage. The camera closes on FM
FM Young: WAIT! WHAT THE FUCK, ALICIA, HOW DO YOU EVEN KNOW….GODDAMNIT SOMEONE TELL ME SOMETHING!
Best of 5 Series - Match 3
Casey Grey Vs. Alicia Monroe
Alicia’s entrance theme is nearly half complete before she makes an appearance at the stage. She runs down the ramp at a sprint, sliding under the bottom rope to enter the ring. Casey is on her immediately, delivering powerful stomps to Alicia’s back and gut. The bell rings signaling the start of the match. Casey gets a warning from the referee as she pulls Alicia up by the hair and Biel Throws her across the ring. Casey ignores the referees lecture on fair play and the rules and gets a snap suplex on Alicia. Casey stalks Alicia as she is getting up, stomping her on the back of the head as she reaches her hands and knees. Alicia falls flat again, but gets a few punches into Casey’s gut as Casey pulls her to her feet. Casey throws Alicia to the opposite ropes, but Alicia reverses the Irish whip and Casey goes instead. Alicia looks for a dropkick but Casey holds onto the ropes, leaving Alicia to find nothing but air. Alicia crashes to the mat hard. When she gets back up to her feet she is taken down again by Casey with a running lariat. Casey struts around the ring for an imaginary crowd before hooking Alicia’s leg for a pin.
1…2…
Scott Parker: That’s a stupid mistake. Why would you celebrate for a crowd that isn’t here? She may have won the match there.
Alicia kicks out just after two. Casey stands up, backing the referee into a corner. Alicia is slow to her feet. She walks towards Casey.
Casey Grey: It’s not hard, you idiot! All you have to do is get to three!
Casey slaps her hands together three times and turns around into a jumping reverse STO from Alicia! Casey rolls onto her back holding her face while Alicia takes a quick breather. Alicia is slow to get back to her feet but she beats Casey. She grabs Casey’s leg in what could be an attempt at Tangled Web, but Casey scrabbles and crawls to a corner and grabs the ropes. When she turns around Alicia starts kicking her in the abdomen, eventually driving Casey down to a sitting position. Then Alicia puts her boot into Casey’s throat and starts choking her. Alicia holds her boot in place until the referee counts to four and backs away. Casey holds her throat as Alicia is reminded about the rules herself. Alicia pulls Casey up and hits Freebird (Running Bulldog) in the center of the ring. She goes for a quick cover.
One…Two…Thr…kickout. Alicia slaps the mat in frustration and lifts Casey by the hair. Casey grabs the top of Alicia’s head with both hands and drops with a jawbreaker. Alicia is staggered, stumbling towards the ropes but falls to one knee as Casey runs forward and gets a solid knee on the side of Alicia’s face with a sharp “THWACK” sound. Alicia goes down as Casey rests a moment on her knees. Casey then throws Alicia out of the ring towards the announcers’ table. Casey leaves the ring, grabs Alicia, and throws her into Scott Parker! Alicia and Scott both crash into a heap on the floor as Casey looks on.
Casey Grey: Oh my god, Scott, are you okay?
Scott recovers his dignity and gets back into his chair after Casey “pats” him on the cheek a couple of times before “playfully” ruining his hair style.
Casey Grey: Are you okay? That was an accident! You were just…on the tracks when the train came through. I totally apologize!
Casey looks at Gemma Foster.
Casey Grey: Something wrong, Gemma?
Gemma Foster: Nope. No, looked like an accident to me.
Casey takes Alicia then and throws her into the ring steps. She follows through and rolls Alicia into the ring. Casey drags Alicia to the center of the mat where she hits Racklash on Alicia. Casey goes for the pin.
1… 2…3…
WINNER: Casey Grey
Casey celebrates for a moment, then looks down at Scott Parker, wiping her eyes as if she’s crying.
Casey Grey: I’m really so sorry, Scott!
Casey leaves the ring and hurries to the back as Alicia checks on Scott Parker.
Zoey Mathews-Mitchell Vs. Ursula Von Rossbach
Zoey and Von Rossbach met in the middle of the ring in a slugfest. They exchanged hard blows before Von Rossbach hit a headbutt that dropped Zoey. Zoey started to mount a comeback and even hit a shotgun kick but Von Rossbach got right back up. She looked for the Faceplant but Von Rossback countered into a big powerbomb. When Zoey stood she was hit with the Great Slam but kicked out before three. Von Rossbach didn’t waste any movement and went right into the Great Lock. Zoey refused to tap out and started to pass out as the referee called for the TKO.
WINNER: Ursula Von Rossbach
Primetime Championship
Ben Macbeth Vs. AJ Adams (c)
Macbeth came out to this match with his ribs taped up, still nursing an injury he suffered in OATH two weeks ago. Adams came out and gave Macbeth a look at the Primetime Championship as he stood on the ramp. As Adams got into the ring the two went to battle right away. Macbeth had an answer for everything Adams was throwing at him. Where normally Macbeth might come out fast and reckless, he was a little more calculated due to his injury. Adams kept trying to lock in a Boston Crab but Macbeth would quickly get to the ropes. Macbeth would focus on the shoulder and arm of Adams as the two kept moving their chess pieces. Adams looked for Legacy Maker but Macbeth countered into From Parts Unknown but couldn’t get 3 as Adams got his foot on the ropes. After Adams started to make a comeback he hit Macbeth with the Last Call. This time, Macbeth got his foot on the ropes. Macbeth got to his feet and exploded with the Toil and Trouble combo and Adams hit the mat and rolled out of the ring. Macbeth climbed out of the ring and the two started to fight near the announce tables and then on top of it. Adams hit a suplex on the table but it didn’t break and Macbeth rolled off and hit the floor hard. Adams rolled in and out of the ring to reset the count.
Adams started to pull Macbeth up and Macbeth speared him over the barricade and into the empty chairs. They started to fight through the empty rows and near some equipment. The referee gave them warnings and restarted his count. They fought up some steps to the side of the stage and kept exchanging blows. The moved across the stage to the other side as the referee was getting closer to ten, being lenient on his speed. Adams and Macbeth locked up and pulled each other off the stage and around a 10 foot fall onto the boxes that absorbed most of their fall. Both seemed okay but the referee called for the countout.
DRAW
Macbeth checked himself and appeared to be fine as he got up on his own power and Adams rolled off the boxes. The two were quickly pulled apart as Macbeth walked away and shook his head. Adams held up the Primetime Championship that the referee walked up to him. The show ended on Macbeth pulling the tape off his ribs and tossing it to the side as Adams sat on the floor.

FM Young: WAIT! WHAT THE FUCK, ALICIA, HOW DO YOU EVEN KNOW….GODDAMNIT SOMEONE TELL ME SOMETHING!
