Episode #16 - March 8, 2016
Scott Parker: Welcome everyone to Animosity! We’re two weeks away from Next Level Victorem and tonight we have a championship match in the main event.
Gemma Foster: The Spectres will step into the ring and take on the Freaks with Benefits in what should be a great match.
Scott Parker: We learned this week that two matches were set for Next Level Victorem. The news broke over on EWTorch.com that Austin Boonchan will go one on one with Bailey Mayhew. We also learned that two of the three BWF Trios Champions will be competing as Darius Wilson and Neil Daniels will take on EW’s very own Hurst Dynasty.
Gemma Foster: And breaking now is yet another match that has been set. Azurine Vebbins will go one on one with Jacob Arc.
Scott Parker: That being said let’s get into tonight’s action.
#PlaceYourBet
Todd Evans climbs into the ring when suddenly “Hell Yeah” by Rev Theory begins to play. Evans looks over at the announcers and shrugs, and they shrug back, laughing.
Scott Parker: She’s not on the schedule! I don’t know what you want me to do!
Todd Evans rolls his eyes, shaking his head as Casey comes out of the back. She high fives a few fans on her way down the ramp and climbs into the ring. She climbs one of the corners and holds the Primetime Championship up with one arm. The crowd cheers and she climbs back down the turnbuckle to the mat, shouldering the belt and walking towards Evans.
Todd Evans: Hi, Casey, I’m not sure that you read the schedule, but you don’t have a slot.
Casey takes the microphone from Todd and stands in the middle of the ring.
Casey Grey: Obviously there’s a lot of excitement for tonight’s events, yeah? And after tonight, we have Victorem coming up, and I can’t tell you how excited I am to be in a match, once again, for my Primetime Championship, where I will be defending against Ursula.
The crowd pops when Casey mentions her match.
Casey Grey: Now, I know what all you fans are thinking. Don’t worry, I’m going to be keeping this.
Casey pats her Primetime belt.
Casey Grey: But, since I’m the type that isn’t going to say anything about anyone if I can’t say something nice, I’ll say this. I like Ursula, I respect her, but she’s not getting my belt. Nobody is. I want that to be crystal freakin’ clear. I’m walking into Victorem as the champion, I’m walking out as the champion. If anyone doesn’t believe it, or if they didn’t get the memo, I really don’t have a problem reminding them. Always bet on Grey. Oh, and that’s another thing, Todd. I don’t care about your schedule.
Casey throws the microphone at Todd’s feet and she walks to the back of the warehouse as her music plays. Todd takes the microphone and waits for Casey’s music to stop.
Jacob Arc Vs. Cali
The match started with Arc connecting with a series of quick palm strikes that staggered Cali. She planted on her back foot and hit a discus forearm to the face. She fought back with kicks that cornered Arc. She hit the ropes and came back looking for a corner clothesline but Arc ducked through the ropes. He climbed the turnbuckle and took Cali down with a crossbody splash as she turned around. Cali rolled through and up to her feet and hit Arc with a dropkick to the face we he climbed to his knees. Cali pulled Arc up and looked for a backslide pin but Arc stood his ground and reversed into one of his own. Cali rolled through and both stood but she was hit with a standing dropkick. He pulled her up and into position for a suplex before connecting with the Mountain Crash (Suplex into Snap Muscle Buster). He covered and was able to pick up the win.
WINNER: Jacob Arc, via pinfall 7:31
Three Cheers for Austin
The scene starts from where we see Austin clapping and hollering for himself as the camera approaches him. He turns his head to the camera and gives a big smile as he adjusts his shades.
Austin Boonchan: Did you hear the news? No? Well then. Guess who is going to Next Level Victorem and facing Bailey Mayhew in a singles match?
He motions the camera to come closer, in which the camera does. He looks around to see if nobody can hear him say it, as if he were just telling the EW fans personally.
Austin Boonchan: (bursting out loud) ME!
He laughs and claps for himself. He bows afterwards.
Austin Boonchan: Man, isn't life great sometimes? I mean, I've had two matches here in the EW, all of which won if you forgot, and now I am booked to go to Next Level Victorem. Tonight on Animosity, I face Cody Williams in a singles 1 on 1 match. Tonight marks my 3rd victory against an opponent I've defeated. Cody, I'm sorry I have to say this, but you're just not better than me. Not even by a hair. Deep down inside of your mind, you have this little voice repeating over and over again, "Will I walk out with the win?" The answer is no, you won't. Because I'm here willing to take it into my hands and walk out with it myself. Tonight, I will defeat you just like I did with Adrian Stasiak and Gio DeLuca.
He adjusts his shades and wipes off his shoulder.
Austin Boonchan: I've got the Empire where I want it to be and you're not going to stop me from there. Nothing will; not even your thought of doing so. I will show you and everyone else in this arena why I'm just simply better than "God's Gift to Professional Wrestling". Just watch.
He smiles at the camera and walks away as the camera switches back into the arena.
Inside Scoop Pt. 1
The camera shifted to the backstage area where we see Mosh XL once again in the EW Warehouse, on hand for a podcast later tonight. He’s walking around the backstage area and stopping everyone he sees.
Mosh XL: Have you seen Ben Macbeth?
Only one question for each member of the roster and backstage staff and each says “no”.
Mosh XL: I’m looking for Ben Macbeth so if you see…-
Mosh pauses as he sees Macbeth once again looking at his leather bound journal as he’s seated in a private corner of one of the open spaces. Mosh quickly makes his way over to Macbeth and immediately starts to speak.
Mosh XL: Hey, Ben. I thought I’d give you the opportunity to talk to all of the fans out there. We’re just two weeks away from the biggest match of your career. You’ve got to be feeling anxious.
Macbeth looks up and just clears his throat as he stands up and walks away.
Mosh XL: Son of a bitch.
Jacques Mercier Vs. Chris Thompson
Mercier and Rae never made it to the ring as all three members of Sin City Savages attacked them on the ramp during their entrance. Anderson and Robinson held Rae back as Thompson slammed a chair into the back of Mercier as the fans booed. Thompson threw the chair down at Mercier as he turned to Rae. She struggled as Anderson and Robinson whipped her at Thompson and he leveled her with a clothesline and dropped her to the mat. Sin City Savages stood over the Hurst Dynasty as we cut away.

The scene opens up to the backstage area where Empire Wrestling interviewer and correspondent Kevin Olson is standing by.
Kevin Olson: Ladies and gentlemen, I am here awaiting the arrival of Cody Williams who I am told should be here shortly.
In the distance, a 2016 diamond white metallic Mercedes-Maybach S600 pulls into the parking lot, stopping short of the Warehouse doors. The driver's side door swings open and out steps "The Reflection of Perfection" Cody Williams. He is dressed in a light gray windowpane suit, a white dress shirt, a plaid pink tie and a pink paisley pocket square. A backstage attendant retrieves his bag from the trunk as Cody closes the door behind him.
Cody Williams: Hey you!
He tosses the attendant his car keys and snatches his bag out of his hands.
Cody Williams: Be a doll and find a nice spot for this. I better not see any scratches or else I'll come find you!
Cody pops his sleeves out and adjusts his lapel as he begins to walk towards the warehouse entrance.
Kevin Olson: Cody! Cody!
Kevin jogs up to Cody who rolls his eyes and doesn't seem to be too pleased with Kevin Olson's presence.
Cody Williams: Oh God... Not you again.
Kevin Olson: You have been on a roll since you arrived here at Empire and you racked up another win last Animosity against Chris Vector.
"The Reflection of Perfection" Chuckles.
Cody Williams: Chris Vector, for weeks, had announced to anyone and everyone who wanted to hear and who couldn't care less that he was unpinned and unsubmitted. We had gone back and forth on Blazenbook about who would emerge the winner in our match, and just as I predicted I put an end to his streak.. And now he's just like everyone else that has stepped into the ring with me... Just another number. Just another stepping stone on my way to the top.
He starts to count on his fingers.
Cody Williams: Azurine Vebbins... Cali and Vector in a triple threat... Vector in a one on one match. That makes me three and oh, and tonight will end the same way as the other three.. With my arm raised in the air in victory.
"The Reflection of Perfection" starts to walk but Kevin walks along side him.
Kevin Olson: Your opponent tonight, Austin Boonchan, has been on a roll himself and is confident that he will beat you tonight. What are your thoughts about your chances against Austin tonight?
Cody stops in his tracks and raises an eyebrow as he places his hands on his hips.
Cody Williams: My chances? There is not a doubt in my mind about how my match against Austin will go. And besides, Boonchan? What the hell kind of name is that? It sounds like someone who was in band in middle school and high school and now teaches music at the community center on the weekends. Surprisingly, Austin and I are a lot alike. We like to wear nice clothes, we are confident in ourselves, and we both believe that we are the best at what we do. But the difference between he and I is that he is NOT me. And after I am through with him, I want more. I want a challenge.
Kevin Olson: Don't you think you need to prove yourself before...
Annoyed, Cody swipes the microphone out of Kevin's hand.
Cody Williams: Prove myself? I proved myself when I wrestled on the independent scene for years. I proved myself when I wrestled in Mexico.. In Germany.. Canada.. When I worked full time in Japan.. And everywhere in between. I paid my dues, and now it's time for me to reap the rewards. I am the best in that ring, on this microphone and tonight Austin will find out what everyone else already knows... That I am God's gift to professional wrestling!!!
He sharply turns his head back at Kevin and tilts his head. He holds the microphone out for Kevin who teaches for it but Cody flips it upside down and drops it onto the floor. He picks up his bag and walks past Kevin, bumping his shoulder into him.
Inside Scoop Pt. 2
We’re once again positioned in the backstage area and this time we see Mosh XL somewhat hidden behind some crates and a wall. He keeps taking quick glances from the corner of the wall and puts his back against the crates. We see Ben Macbeth walking and making his way to the locker room area. As soon as Macbeth passes by Mosh, Mosh springs from the wall and starts walking beside him.
Mosh XL: Maybe we got off on the wrong foot, Ben. I’m really just doing this for your benefit. The world wants to know more about you and I’m here to help you do that.
Macbeth kept walking and made his way into the locker room and the door shut in Mosh’s face. Mosh looked at the “EW Talent Only” sign and left to rethink his plans.
Cody Williams Vs. Austin Boonchan
Williams and Boonchan trash talked each other before the match got underway as the fans awaited with anticipation. The two men locked up in the middle of the ring as the bell sounded. They struggled to gain position on the other but it ended with Boonchan applying a headlock to Williams. Williams spun behind Boonchan and applied a headlock of his own. Boonchan sent Williams into the ropes but was taken down with a shoulder tackle and popped right back up. Boonchan hit Williams with an armdrag and Williams rolled right back to his feet. Williams hit a charging Boonchan with a hard discus lariat. He pulled him back to his feet and into position for a suplex. Williams looked for a brainbuster but Boonchan twisted and landed behind Williams before connecting with a German suplex. Both men climbed to their feet and locked back up. Boonchan sent Williams up and over the top ropes but Williams held on. Boonchan charged but Williams ducked, pulled the top rope down, and Boonchan went flying over the top ropes as Williams rolled back into the ring. Boonchan slowly climbed to his feet and turned right into Williams coming through the ropes with a suicide dive!
Scott Parker: Williams putting his body on the line with a move like that!
Gemma Foster: I dare to say it but that was a perfect suicide dive by the man that calls himself the Reflection of Perfection.
Williams was to his feet first as the referee had begun the count and was up to five. Williams rolled into the ring and climbed to his feet. Boonchan was up soon after and back into the ring. Boonchan was able to block an incoming punch and returned with one of his own. Williams grabbed Boonchan and sent him into the ropes and Boonchan returned with a flying forearm smash. Boonchan popped up and pulled Williams up and into a fisherman’s carry gutbuster. Boonchan climbed to the top rope and was set up perfectly as he looked for the Elbow and Arrow (Frog Splash into Elbow Drop) but Williams rolled out of the way. Williams pulled Boonchan up and connected with the Pure Perfection (Spinning sit-out double underhook facebuster). Williams quickly pulled Boonchan back up connected with a snap suplex. Boonchan rolled into the corner and grabbed at his shoulder as the referee went over to check on him. Williams tried to attack but the referee forced him away as he wanted to make sure Boonchan could continue. Williams had his back to the ramp as Chris Vector slid into the ring and connected with the Conspiracy (Belly to back Piledriver) and rolled out of the ring. Boonchan stood up and shrugged as if nothing were wrong and covered, picking up the win.
WINNER: Austin Boonchan, via pinfall 11:39
Gemma Foster: Chris Vector just cost Cody Williams this match!
Scott Parker: Not only that but Vector just caused Williams to suffer his first loss here in EW.
Gemma Foster: This has to be payback in the eyes of Chris as Cody beat him, causing him his first loss.
Williams came to and looked around, confused. He looked up the ramp and Vector was still standing there, laughing. Williams was livid and shouted as we faded to the backstage area.
Inside Scoop Pt. 3
There’s some sort of commotion backstage as EMTs are rushing around backstage to where a group of people have circled. Wade Mason pushes his way through the crowd and we can see Mosh XL bloodied and out cold.
Wade Mason: Did anyone see what happened?
Most begin to shake their head before one member of the crew steps forward.
Crew Member: I know he was following Ben Macbeth around all night and Macbeth seemed really irritated.
Mason seems angry as he goes off in search of Macbeth.
Scott Parker: You’d have to believe that Mr. Mason would have to take the championship opportunity away from Macbeth for this.
Gemma Foster: Let’s not jump to conclusions, Scott.

Pinned. Unsubmitted.
Scott Parker: Folks, I’m getting reports of something developing in the backstage area.
A fight had broken out backstage as Cody Williams and Chris Vector were exchanging blows. Vector clotheslined Williams and sent him falling over some crates.
Chris Vector: I am still unsubmitted! I should be unpinned!
Williams came leaping over the crates and speared Vector to the floor and began to throw hard blows as security pulled the two men apart.
Inside Scoop Pt. 4
Mason has made his way down the hall where he finally makes it to where a photoshoot for the BWF Network is ongoing and we can see Macbeth partaking in a few shots. Mason approaches one of the people working the photoshoot.
Wade Mason: Has he been here long?
Photographer: Maybe twenty minutes or so.
Wade Mason: Thank you.
Mason goes to leave but is stopped.
Photographer: Oh, Mr Mason. Have you seen Billy Way? He was supposed to be in the shoot before this but he said he was going to go see Mosh XL for some podcast stuff and he never showed up.
The fans “oooh” as Mason turns away without an answer.
Gemma Foster: Did Billy Way just try to set Ben Macbeth up?
Scott Parker: I’m not sure what to think!
Mason approached one of the backstage hands working the photoshoot and got his attention.
Wade Mason: I need you to find Billy Way and tell him to meet me in the ring at the end of the night.
He then turns back to the photographer.
Wade Mason: When Ben is done tell him I need to see him in the ring after the main event.
Casey Grey Vs. Bailey Mayhew
Ursula Areano was sitting ringside for the match and Grey made sure to look at her as she showed off the Primetime Championship. The bell sounded and things got underway. Mayhew and Grey locked up and Grey flipped Mayhew to the mat with a headlock takedown. Grey spun down and tried to apply an ankle lock as she turned Mayhew but Mayhew was able to twist to her back. Mayhew threw her boot up and connected with a kick to the face to break away. Mayhew climbed to her feet and backed away before the two locked back up. Mayhew tried to set up for a DDT but Grey countered into a northern lights suplex. Grey pulled Mayhew up to her feet and sent her into the ropes and caught her with a powerslam on the rebound. Grey covered and was able to get two before Mayhew kicked out. Mayhew was able to climb to her feet. Mayhew caught a charging Grey with a back elbow to the face. She followed it up with a snapmare and a dropkick to the back of Grey’s head. Mayhew pulled Grey up to her feet and into perfect position before hitting the Wings of a Butterfly (Butterfly Suplex). Mayhew thought about a cover but pulled Grey up instead. She was able to send Grey into the corner and charged, connecting with a swinging corner clothesline. Grey staggered and fell forward as Mayhew climbed to the top ropes and hit a moonsault. Mayhew crawled into a cover and had the match nearly won before Grey kicked out just in time.
Gemma Foster: A close one there for the Primetime Champ. Casey just able to kick out in time. That would have been huge for Bailey.
Mayhew pulled Grey up and was set for the Into the Sunset (Asai DDT) but Grey was somehow able to hold Mayhew up and twisted her onto her shoulders. Grey was able to connected with the Racklash (Rack Attack). Grey was able to cover and Mayhew just was able to get her foot on the ropes. Grey crawled away and to her feet as Mayhew stood slowly. Mayhew charged and was hit with Your Fear (Black Hole Slam). Grey pulled Mayhew up and hit a second Racklash and covered for the victory.
WINNER: Casey Grey, via pinfall 12:25
Areano stood and gave Grey a golf clap before heading towards the back. Grey was handed her championship before helping Mayhew to her feet and exiting the ring.
Scott Parker: I have some breaking news coming from the back. After the actions we witnessed between Chris Vector and Cody Williams, Wade Mason has booked a “submission only” match between the two for Next Level Victorem.
Gemma Foster: What a match!
EW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Freaks with Benefits Vs. The Spectres (c)
The fans were buzzing and cheering for both teams as the match was being announced. Rouse and Young held up their titles before handing them off. Young and Taylor were going to kick things off for each team. Young and Taylor bumped fists before locking up. Young opened it up with a few blows to the gut of Taylor and then driving a knee into her gut. Young connected with a short arm clothesline and pulled Taylor back up. Taylor ducked a second clothesline and grabbed Young from behind. Young looked for a back elbow but Taylor ducked and was able to hit a t-bone suplex as Young spun on the miss. Taylor made a tag to Williams and they pulled Young up to her feet. Taylor lifted Young with a belly to back suplex and Williams caught her with a falling neckbreaker as she fell. Williams rolled Young into a cover… One… two and a kickout. Young climbed up to her feet and ducked as Williams came running from behind for a bulldog. Williams hit the mat butt first and rolled to her feet. Young grabbed Williams and connected with a Russian leg sweep before going over to Rouse and made a tag. Rouse climbed into the ring and grabbed Williams as she stood. Rouse send Williams into the Spectres’ corner and unloaded a series of strikes as the referee tried to get a break. Rouse tagged out to Young on a four count and Young jumped in. Young landed hard stomps onto Williams until the four count and made a tag to Rouse. They whipped Williams across the ring into the ropes and hit her with a double back drop on her return.
Scott Parker: The champions well in control right now.
Gemma Foster: They have a strong connection and it shows in the ring.
Williams slowly climbed back up to her feet and was taken right back down with a shoulder tackle. Rouse pulled Williams into position as she stood again and connected with the Sonic Screwdriver (Spinning Neckbreaker). Rouse pulled Williams into a cover. One… two and a kickout. Williams got back to her feet and ducked Rouse’s Bored Now (Trouble In Paradise). Williams spun Rouse around and hit the Last Breath (Swinging Inverted DDT). Both competitors were down and slowly crawled to their corners. Rouse made a tag first and Young jumped into the ring and went for Williams. Williams dove and tagged the hand of Taylor. Taylor climbed into the ring and ducked a clothesline from Young. Taylor connected with a belly to back suplex and Young rolled up to her feet. Taylor caught a charging Young with a sidewalk slam and rolled into a cover. One… kickout just before two. Taylor pulled Williams into position and connected with the Merry Go Round (Spin Fisherman Suplex) and covered once again. One… two and Rouse broke it up.
Gemma Foster: Close pinfall but Riley there to break things up.
Taylor climbed to her feet and Young was right behind her. Young lifted Taylor up and drove her to the mat with the Young Gun (AA Spinebuster). Young slowly made it to her feet and made a tag to Rouse. Rouse came in and pulled Taylor into position for the Sonic Screwdriver but Taylor spun away and connected with a dropkick to the knee of Rouse. Taylor looked for the Stamp it Out (Avada Kedavra) but Rouse dodged it and looked for a schoolboy roll up. One… two.. and Williams pulled Rouse off. Young climbed into the ring and hit Williams with the Caught Up (Spear). Taylor hit Young with the Broadway Lights (Cross Rhodes). Rouse spun Taylor around and hit her with The Force (Flapjack) and Taylor made a blind tag to Williams on her way down. Taylor and Williams hit the ropes and connected with the Plan A/Season Ender (Double Shining Wizard) combo. Taylor kicked at the ropes as Young tried to climb into the ring from the floor as Williams covered. One… two… three!
WINNERS AND NEW EW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: Freaks with Benefits, via pinfall 19:53
Scott Parker: New champs! New champs!
Gemma Foster: What a fantastic match!
Taylor and Williams embraced in the center of the ring as they were announced the winners. Young had made it back into the ring and helped pull Rouse up to their feet. The Freaks were handed the titles as they celebrated in excitement. Taylor and Williams both stopped for a moment and reached their hands out for Young and Rouse. The fans cheered as the two teams shared a handshake briefly before the Spectres left.
Gemma Foster: A big moment here on Animosity.
Inside Scoop Pt. 5
Wade Mason was standing in the ring as he stood and waited for both Ben Macbeth and Billy Way to make it to the ring. Way stood on the ramp and showed off the EW Heavyweight Championship and took his time to get into the ring. Macbeth leaned in the corner and seemed unimpressed.
Wade Mason: I’m not here to waste any time, gentlemen. You see, I have a man on his way to the hospital after someone brutally attacked him and I have a few tell me it was you.
He points to Macbeth.
Wade Mason: Other things make it sound like you.
He points to Way.
Wade Mason: At first it was pretty obvious that the punishment would be canceling the main event of Next Level Victorem because, if in fact it were you, then you wouldn’t deserve the shot.
Mason is looking over at Macbeth.
Wade Mason: Canceling the match because it was you wouldn’t be fair because that sounds like what you wanted to happen.
He’s now looking at Way.
Wade Mason: So either we can get to the bottom of this or I can strip you of the championship and then cancel the main event so neither of you come out ahead.
Neither Way or Macbeth step forward and Mason seems frustrated but a distorted voice fills the arena.
Voice: These men are bystanders in something larger. My presence will be felt at Next Level Victorem.
All three men are left in the ring looking around as we fade away.

Coming Soon to BWF Network
Tuesday, March 22, 2016

Scott Parker: I have some breaking news coming from the back. After the actions we witnessed between Chris Vector and Cody Williams, Wade Mason has booked a “submission only” match between the two for Next Level Victorem.
Gemma Foster: What a match!
