Episode #56 - October 10, 2020
Griffin Hawkins & Dokueki Vs. Social Elite (Summer Page & Angel Kash)
The near 150 fans in attendance started off the night with the entrance of Griffin Hawkins and they gave him a solid cheer. Hawkins threw up two rock fists before he made his way down to the ring. He climbed into the ring just as Dokueki came out to the stage next with a mixed reaction. Dokueki made it to the ring as she and Hawkins started to talk about the match.
Gemma Foster: Interesting pairing here tonight with Griffin and Dokueki. Dokueki picked up a win over Griffin Hawkins after some interjection from the Social Elite.
With that, the fans began to boo as the Social Elite hit the stage. Tiffany Page was with the duo as they stood back to back and shook their head. They made their way down to the ring and climbed up to the apron. They laughed as Griffin had to be held back by the referee before the match started. Summer Page offered to start the match and things got started. Page and Griffin locked up and Page connected with a stiff right hand and Griffin hit a discus forearm smash. Page stomped on the foot of Griffin and then flipped him over with a snapmare. She kicked him in the back and ran the ropes, allowing Kash to take herself in. Page came back with a dropkick to the face and Kash came running over with an elbow drop. Griffin started to sit up and Kash looked for a running knee to the face but he was able to duck it. He got to his feet and rocked Kash with a dropkick as she charged at him again. She got to her feet and Griffin connected with a spear.
Scott Parker: Griffin Hawkins getting a head of steam!
Griffin tagged out to Dokueki and she climbed into the ring. Griffin hit Kash with a swinging neckbreaker. She climbed to her feet and was hit with a jumping kick from Dokueki. Dokueki pulled Kash up and hit German suplex. Dokueki grabbed Kash again and pulled her up. Kash put a thumb in her eyes which blinded Dokueki. Kash raked her nails down the back of Dokueki and then pulled her backwards down to the mat by her hair. Kash tagged in Page and she climbed inside. Page grabbed Dokueki and delivered the Total Knockout (Springboard Bulldog). Page rolled into a cover and Griffin was right there to break it up at two. Kash jumped into the ring and the match started to fall apart as the four came to blows. Dokueki and Kash clotheslined both Kash and Page over the top rope as Tiffany Page was screaming at the referee. Tiffany Page stopped her clients from getting back inside the ring and they started to leave up the ramp. Tiffany Page screamed at the referee for showing favoritism.
Scott Parker: The Social Elite has had enough it looks like.
The referee got to the count of ten and the match ended.
WINNERS: Dokueki & Griffin Hawkins

Wobble Up
Cameras come up to see two muscled and well oiled men wielding palm fans, standing on either side of a black and green clad Noavrra. She enjoys the light breeze of the two attractive men for a moment before tossing her hair back over her shoulder.
Noavrra: Tonight tonight…
She puts her hand over her mouth, suppressing a giggle.
Noavrra: I admit, I’m nervous. I expected to get more time to prepare for this match, but I am not about to look a gift opportunity sideways. Beating Austin Scott and Hayley Halsey was only step one. This is where I get to prove if I’m the real deal, or just another pretender - falling to Alicia Monroe in her bid to establish herself as a strong champion. I’m warmed up and ready, and excited for the ability to take Alicia Monroe’s National championship and wrap it around one of these thighs...because I guarantee you it won’t fit ‘round these hips.
She bumps her hips up against each of her boys, who smile and continue to fan her.
Noavrra: It’s been an amazing ride for Alicia. After her victory over Casey Grey… she has taken that momentum to its natural conclusion...the National title and several defenses of it. So by no means is this match going to be easy. Couple that with the extra rules, and I naturally am at a disadvantage. Only my match with the entitled Hayley Halsey was conducted under those rules. So while Alicia may not be as ‘fresh’ as me, she’s got the experience advantage - both here in Empire Wrestling and with the National title rules.
She shakes her hands out, pushing out the nerves.
Noavrra: But my journey here has been too long. It was almost over before it even started. I almost gave up on my dreams. So to be standing here, moments away from the first one on one title match ever? It takes me off my game, I’ll admit.
She looks up at the two fanboys, and winks to the both of them. They look at each other, and then exit the view, leaving Noavrra by herself.
Noavrra: So while Alicia Monroe would love nothing more than to add me to the list of names she’s beaten to retain that National championship - a title that has gained so much attention since it was introduced just under a month ago...it’s just not in the cards. Her safeword is “wobble”, just like this ass, and just like how she’s going to wobble out of her, without the title.
She shakes her head, emphasizing it with a click of her tongue.
Noavrra: I have put myself through a mountain of pain to get here. What Alicia has planned for me tonight is not anything I haven’t had done to myself, or done myself. Just a reminder for our current National champ: You can’t deter me with promises of pain. You’re going to have to out-wrestle me, or just plain get lucky if you want to leave here tonight with another defense on your record. And while you’ve got the talent and experience, I’ve got the will, the desire, the determination, and raw power that you don’t. I’m jazzed enough to put you through the mat with the Mastodon special, to sit on your back until you pass out. I’m psyched enough to yeet you from one side of the ring until the other until you can’t stand up. I am ready to trap your neck between these thighs until you do a little ‘tap-tap-tap’ to signify that you give up. I need that from you, Alicia. I need it like birds gotta fly, like fish gotta swim, and like how we gotta breathe. I need to wrap my hands around that National title and never let it go. I need to make it my own. And none of it is personal. You just happen to be in the way of my stampede, and I can’t stop until I gain what it is that I am looking for.
The Elephant of Saraswati approaches the camera lens.
Noavrra: So I’m glad that I lit a fire until you, just like you did to me. Because this is going to be an epic contest that defines your reign as National champion. But it’s also going to be the one that ends it. The sooner you reconcile with that, babe...the sooner the both of us can get one step closer…
She closes her eyes, and folds her hands over her chest.
Noavrra: To shanti…
Her eyes snap open, and she sticks her tongue out at the left corner of her mouth and grins. She then slowly moves out of frame as the scene fades.
WATCHING
The scene opens up in a dark room where a solo, dimmed light hits a wall. It swings from the ceiling giving off some spooky season vibes. The camera starts to pan around the room where dozens of candid photos of Lacy Nelson are disorderly hung. Her eyes are X’ed out on each one with a red marker. An echoing laughter of a woman can be heard as we see one final picture on the wall with pictures of Lacy all around it.
Black.
Molly Hatchet Vs. Kaito Hirano
“Time Bomb” by Hollywood Undead kicked up the boos of fans as both members of Dishonor made their way to the stage. Evans said a few things to Hirano before turning back. Hirano bowed at the top of the ramp before making his way down.
Scott Parker: Molly Hatchet is about to make her return to the Warehouse for the first time since Next Level: Ascension.
Hatchet jogged out to the stage to her music to some excitement as she was fired up for the match.
Gemma Foster: She’s looking pretty healed up too.
She ran down to the ring and rolled in under the bottom rope and climbed to her feet. She jumped onto the second turnbuckle and put her arms up. The fans booed as Hirano jumped to the second rope behind her and delivered a second rope German suplex!
Scott Parker: Kaito Hirano attacking before the bell even rings!
Hirano started to wildly stomp on Hatchet as the referee tried to hold him back. Hirano lifted the referee up and delivered his Oyasumi [Goodnight] (Fireman's Carry Overhead Kick). The bell rang continuously as Hirano was a man possessed.
Gemma Foster: Kaito Hirano just took out Ava Thompson!
Hirano tried to pull Hatchet up to her feet but Molly hit him with the Glasgow Kiss (Jumping Headbutt). Hatchet hit the ropes and connected with the Whiskey Bomb (Superwoman Punch) as Hirano stood. Hatchet started to pull Hirano to his feet but he was able to roll out of the ring as she kept reaching for him.
Scott Parker: The claws have come out!
Gemma Foster: Kaito and Molly are being held back by some of the trainers.
Hatchet turned and took a knee beside Thompson as she was being checked on as Hirano pointed to the armband with the kanji of “Dishonor” on his arm.
Scott Parker: I think Kaito might have felt some type of way tonight.
Gemma Foster: Do you think he ever intended to start the match or was this all planned out beforehand?
Scott Parker: Maybe something happened before the show kicked off that got him heated.
Hatchet turned back to Hirano and invited him back down to the ring but he disappeared behind the curtain as we cut away.
Honor the past… Embrace the future.
#HEAR ME NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!
Machine Head's "Imperium" assaults the senses with thunderous, brutal guitar riffs and heavy drum thuds. This coincides with several columns of sparks exploding from beneath the corrugated steal as a tall and powerfully built woman with fierce, piercing eyes and a stone cold resting bitch face steps out onto the stage. Muscles rippled and flexed as she stood there for several seconds, her half shaven black hair cut neat and trim as it frames half of her face. Her attire is all black leather, with a vest and tights, fingerless gloves studded at the knuckles, with heavy knee pads and kick padded boots decorated in chrome rivets. Everything about her screamed cold, calculating destruction personified.
Ursula Von Rossbach heads for the ring with a confident, unwavering stride. There is no fear, no anger, no fury, only certain death in those dark brown eyes. Arriving at ringside, she leaps onto the apron and slips through the ropes.
She walks to the center of the ring. There she raises her arms in a V-shape, fists clenched tightly as she crosses one leg in front of the other. Ursula then dips forward and curls her arms down and towards her chest, flexing every muscle her body has to offer, showing off that rippling power. With a wave of her hand, she motions for a microphone and it is tossed towards her by the time keeper outside. In one fluid motion, she catches it with a flourish, flips the switch, and brings it directly to her lips.
UVR: Good evening, denizens of the Empire. I stand before you in this Imperial ring, mere minutes before I face Harper Blake, but I wish to address a moment of error and dare I say, weakness, on my part. This event has been brought to you at such short notice that a few of us had actually taken exception to being asked to compete this night, myself in particular. I made a rather sizeable public display of myself in an effort to give the talent more time to prepare and for the event itself to be properly advertised, the talent to have more preparation, and for the possibility that we could make for a more grand spectacle.
One arm slips behind her back as she starts to slowly pace around in the ring.
UVR: The reward for my efforts was the initial cancellation of this match to my great displeasure, a partial expenditure of my dignity, and numerous vultures circling around, vying for my place on the card as well as exposing their sycophantic nature by throwing around statements such as, "I shall pay for my own airfare!" or "I will work the event for free!"
She stops and turns to look out upon the crowd.
UVR: There is nothing wrong with wanting to be compensated for one's effort, nor is it wrong to actually show a little care for the well being of your company and those who work for it. In the end, however, I wrestle for no one but myself. I shall never claim to be completely altruistic in my motives. Once upon a time, that was so as I chose to put corporate interests ahead of my own and suffered dearly for it.
The Lady Terminator resumes her pace, lifting her head slightly up and back as she stares at the dark spaces above her between the arena lights and the far back walls of the arena.
UVR: But that was another time and another place.
Once more, she stops and turns her gaze towards the entryway arch.
UVR: However, to all of those who lined up to take your free shots and make me look weak, I promise you this. Retribution shall be swift and I am a merciless reaper who shall harvest the debts each of you have accrued with me last night. Right now, you thrive because I allow it, AND YOU SHALL END BECAUSE I DEMAND IT!
That unnerving smile crosses her face.
UVR: Speaking of endings, HARPER BLAKE, THE TIME IS NOW!
She then tosses the microphone out of the ring and surprisingly, the time keeper is right there to catch it.
Ursula Von Rossbach Vs. Harper Blake
With UVR in the ring already, Harper Blake came out to no music. No tron. No flashing lights. She looked down at her opponent and just walked.
Gemma Foster: I got to talk to Harper Blake earlier tonight and she feels SLIGHTED, to put it mildly. She’s upset that Ursula got involved in the business between her and Kayla last week and that’s why this match was made.
Blake climbed into the ring as the fans weren’t sure how to react to how things were happening. Blake accepted the referee talking to her about the rules of the match before the bell rang. The referee was about to start the match and Harper Blake rolled out of the ring and walked over to the announce table. Blake picks up a spare headset and speaks to Foster, Scott, and the people at home.
Harper Blake: She can wait. I want everyone to listen up about something because I keep being asked why I’ve attacked Kayla twice now and I didn’t realise that I had to explain it to anyone because it’s clear as day to me. I dropped her in the match with Social Elite because it was clear that our partnership wasn’t going anywhere here in Empire Wrestling. I came here to help her out with the promise of being a champion someday. The pairing of Harper and Kayla just wasn’t working like we thought and, surprise, I tried to end things nicely backstage. The problem was that Kayla doesn’t listen to anyone else but herself speak. The last couple weeks she’s been so crazy because she heard -
The referee tried to get Blake in the ring as it appeared UVR was growing restless and frustrated.
Harper Blake: I said WAIT.
She holds a finger up to the referee and Von Rossbach.
Harper Blake: She heard that her ex was returning from the void or wherever she’s been recently. That second attack last week? Because I’m angry. I’m angry that she goes over to BWF with her damned ex and win gold as if it was second nature to them.
Scott Parker: Well, Harper, the two of them are two of the greatest tag champs in Empire Wrestling history.
Blake was visibly frustrated and slammed her headset down before rolling into the ring. UVR goes to square up but takes a hard forearm to the face as the bell rang. Blake unloaded hard left forearms and backed her into the corner and shouted as she threw wildly. The referee started a five count and she broke. She hit the ropes but was lifted up and driven into the mat with a spinebuster on the return!
Gemma Foster: Oh! Harper might be on dream street with that slam. It looked like her head bounced off the mat hard!
UVR lifted Blake up to her feet and carried her around the ring before slamming her down with a sidewalk slam. She covered and hooked a leg for one.
Scott Parker: Yeah. Harper definitely isn’t all there right now. Just look at her face.
Blake was pulled back up to her feet and caught UVR with a kick to the leg and then a kick to the knee. This staggered UVR for a moment which allowed Blake to hit the ropes and come back with Future Sight (V-Trigger)! UVR stumbled and was grabbed as Blake looked for a Russian legsweep but it was blocked. UVR turned and flipped Blake around with a hard clothesline. Blake got to her feet and was flipped around with a powerslam. UVR moved around the ring slowly and let Blake get to her feet. The two locked up in the middle of the ring and UVR tossed Blake into the corner. Blake tried to charge but was caught and hit with the Great Slam (Michinoku Driver)!
Gemma Foster: That might be it!
The referee jumped into position and counted the pinfall but Blake kicked out at two. UVR grabbed Blake and started to pull her up slowly but Blake was able to counter with a jawbreaker. This gave Blake some space and she looked for a small package roll up and got two! Blake popped up first and caught UVR with a hard penalty style kick to the head!
Scott Parker: Blake just punted Urusla to the moon!
Blake started to go for a cover and UVR sat straight up and looked at her.
Gemma Foster: What!?
UVR climbed to her feet and grabbed Blake as she charged and drove her to the mat with a Sambo Chokeslam. UVR rolled Blake into a cover and picked up the victory.
WINNER: Ursula Von Rossbach
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Alicia Monroe (c) Vs. Noavrra
It was main event time and the fans were on their feet as the challenger Noavrra made her way out to the ring. She moved around the top of the stage with a little dance to all watching. She pointed down to the ring and then to the sky as she made her way down the ramp.
Gemma Foster: A huge opportunity tonight for the challenger. Noavrra has battled and has earned this match here tonight.
Noavrra bounced around the ring as the fans gave Alicia Monroe a nice reaction as she came out next. She had the National Title around her waist as she tossed her Hell’s Belles hat off and made her way down to the ring. She jumped up to the apron and tossed a wristband out into the crowd.
Gemma Foster: Alicia looking to successfully defend the title for the second time.
The two ladies circled each other as the match was announced. The bell rang and we got started with a lock up. Noavrra overpowered Monroe by pushing her down to the mat but Alicia popped right back up. Noavrra applied a side headlock and squeezed. Monroe tried to push her off but Noavrra planted her feet and locked herself in place before flipping Monroe to the mat. Noavrra tried to quickly lock in the Sensual Embrace (Code of silence aka leg choke submission) but Monroe was able to slip away and roll out of the ring.
Scott Parker: Good ring awareness there by Alicia and slipping away before Noavrra could lock in that hold.
Monroe eventually got back onto the apron and connected with a punch to Noavrra as she came over to the ropes. Monroe climbed inside and hit her opponent with a dropkick to the knee that took her down. Monroe flipped over Noavrra and slammed her into the mat with a flipping blockbuster. Monroe and Noavrra climbed back up to their feet and Monroe met her with a hard forearm smash to the face. Noavrra swung with a lariat but Monroe ducked and jumped onto the back of Noavrra and locked in a sleeper hold. Noavrra slipped down to one knee after a few moments as Monroe had the hold locked in tight.
Gemma Foster: Alicia has that sleeper locked in tight in the middle of the ring and it’s started to take a lot out of Noavrra.
Noavrra powered her way back up to both feet and jumped backward onto her back and landed right on top of Monroe! They were both slow to their feet as the fans were clapping along and Noavrra met Monroe with a striking combo of forearms and then a back elbow to the face. Monroe looked for another forearm to the face but Noavrra ducked it and activated her YEET MACHINE GO combo by hitting 4(!) German suplexes in a row. Noavrra was fired up as the fans gave her a big cheer. Noavrra climbed up to the second rope and came crashing down onto Monroe with a splash and a cover. The crowd counted along for the two count before Monroe was able to put her foot on the ropes for her first rope break.
Scott Parker: I thought that was going to be it!
Noavrra pulled Monroe up to her feet slowly and whipped her hard into the corner. Noavrra jumped up and down for a second and charged into the corner and hit the Stampede (Repeated running Meteora knee strikes to a cornered opponent)! Noavrra pulled Monroe out of the corner and covered once again and got a big two count as Monroe was able to once again get her foot on the ropes to save her energy.
Gemma Foster: Alicia is smart to just use one of those rope breaks to conserve having to push Noavrra off her to kick out.
Noavrra went to pull Monroe up and Alicia rolled her up with a small package for two. Both competitors climbed up to their feet and Monroe caught her opponent with an enziguri! Noavrra started to stagger back to her feet and Monroe delivered Freebird (Running Bulldog). Monroe was slow to get back to her feet but made it into the corner. She climbed up to the top and flipped off with the Phoenix Dive (Swanton Bomb)! Monroe slid right off Noavrra and had to crawl back over to her for a cover and couldn’t hook a leg and got two before Noavrra kicked out.
Scott Parker: So close for Alicia! The champion just couldn’t hook a leg for any leverage on the pinfall attempt.
Monroe pulled herself up to her knees as Noavrra started to get up slowly. Monroe caught Noavrra with a dropkick to the side of the head before she stood. Monroe hit the ropes and dropped down with an elbow drop. Monroe pulled Noavrra back into position for Freebird but Noavrra countered into a German suplex. They both rolled to their feet and Noavrra lifted Monroe up and dropped her with Mastodon Special (Pinning powerbomb) and got a two count and she flipped right into a Boston crab submission! Noavrra sat on the back of Monroe as Monroe tried to reach out.
Gemma Foster: I think Alicia is going to tap!
Noavrra’s hold started to slip and Monroe was able to reach out just enough to get the ropes for her final rope break. Noavrra walked Monroe back out a couple steps and locked in the Boston crab once again!
Scott Parker: Alicia doesn’t have any more rope breaks!
Monroe was able to wiggle and flail just enough to grab the ropes and hold on tight to stop herself from tapping. She grabbed the apron and started to pull herself out of the ring and Noavrra couldn’t hold on and Monroe fell to the floor.
Gemma Foster: Both of these ladies are giving it their all for the National Championship!
Noavrra climbed up to her feet and stumbled against the far ropes. Monroe was very slow to get up but got up around 9 of the 20 count. Noavrra charged and looked for a suicide forearm but Monroe caught her with a spinning back elbow to the head and they both dropped to the floor! Monroe was up first and pulled Noavrra up to her feet and rolled her inside. Monroe climbed back inside and readied herself. Noavrra was up and the two exchanged hard blows back and forth. They both ran the ropes in opposite directions and came back with a double clothesline and each draped an arm across each other and the referee counted a double pinfall!
Gemma Foster: Wait a minute! What just happened!?
Scott Parker: Noavrra and Alicia just pinned each other at the same time! This has never happened in the entirety of Empire Wrestling!
The referee conferred with the timekeeper outside the ring and the match was officially called a draw!
MATCH DRAW!
Scott Parker: It’s a double pin!
The fans were stunned as the two laid in the middle of the ring from the hard hitting match and were quickly surprised as Hayley Halsey climbed into the ring, having jumped the barricade. She snatched the National Title from the referee as he held it in the ring. She looked at it and held it up as the fans booed.
Gemma Foster: Looks like Hayley Halsey is saying she’s not done with the National Title scene just yet.
Halsey dropped the title across Noavrra and Monroe as she rolled out of the ring. Monroe and Noavrra started to come around as they were told what happened. The show ended with Monroe slowly climbing to her feet with Noavrra sitting in the corner.
Scott Parker: Alicia Monroe is walking out of Hype with the title due to how this thing ended tonight. Give it up for both ladies.
Gemma Foster: Give me round two!
