Episode #19 - May 3, 2016
Scott Parker: Hello, all. We’ve made it to Animosity episode 19 and next week, for 20, we have Animosity Supershow.
Gemma Foster: I hear that Mr. Mason is planning on stacking the show to celebrate.
Scott Parker: Before we get into tonight’s action we have some breaking news. Chris Vector has been pulled from tonight’s show after his actions at BWF’s Danger Zone event where he attacked Allen Chaney. Mr. Mason insists that Vector IS still an EW contracted superstar and, while he and the Wyatts determine how to handle Vector’s punishment, he will not be appearing on tonight’s show.
Gemma Foster: It was a pretty stupid move, Scott. Vector has had a decent run since coming back from his first suspension and he goes and does something like that.
Scott Parker: Mason has also put out the ultimatum for Ben Macbeth to sit down with Mosh XL or for Azarov to talk about what he knows of the attack on Mosh. Neither has been seen in the Warehouse so far tonight.
Caleb Masterson Vs. Alex Zion
The newcomer Zion started the match off with his sunglasses on as he walked around the ring. Masterson shouted at him to fight him and Zion stopped in the corner and placed his glasses down on the top turnbuckle. He turned and charged, dropping Masterson with a cross-over clothesline. Zion pulled Masterson up to his feet and flipped him into the corner. Masterson pushed Zion away with a boot in his gut and then connected with a swinging neckbreaker. Zion climbed to his feet and ducked under an incoming clothesline before hitting Masterson with a high angle backdrop suplex. Zion rubbed the bottom of his boot across the face of Masterson before dropping a knee to his chest. Masterson climbed to his feet and pulled Zion into a front facelock. Masterson started to pull Zion up for the Clown Collage (Brainbuster) but Zion fought out with punches to the gut. Zion hit the ropes and came back with the Adrenaline Rush (Running spinning snap neckbreaker). Masterson staggered to his feet and was hit with the Legacy Driver (Omega Driver) as Zion covered and picked up the victory.
Zion made his way over to the turnbuckle he placed his glasses on and picked them up before rolling out of the ring and put them back on with a smirk on his face.
Chicago Trouble
Scott Parker: This is where we were supposed to see Maverick Fantastico and Jew Blazer take on the team of Sin City Savages but Thompson and Anderson are reportedly not here tonight. Jewcha Libre is in the ring though.
“Light it Up” by Rev Theory queued up and there was some confusion until two men walked out onto the stage.
Scott Parker: That’s Chris and Zach Marshall, the Chi-Town Connection. Former TGW Tag Team Champions.
Jewcha Libre awaited in the ring as the Chi-Town Connection walked onto the stage. Zach and Chris Marshall charged the ring and the four began to exchange lefts and rights. Jew Blazer was tossed over the top ropes by Chris as Fantastico planted kicks to Zach in the corner. Chris pulled Fantastico off and sent him into the ropes and Fantastico baseball slid under the ropes and to the floor. Jew Blazer came off the top ropes and hit a front dropkick to Chris and then rolled out of the ring before Zach could grab him. Zach and Chris want Jewcha Libre to get back in the ring but referees made their way down and kept the two teams separated.
Scott Parker: The Chi-Town Connection has come to EW and they want to fight!
Gemma Foster: I’m sure Jewcha Libre will give it to them too!
Jew Blazer and Fantastico kept trying to push past the referees until Wade Mason made his way to the stage.
Wade Mason: Seems like we have our first match set for the big Animosity Supershow next week. Chi-Town Connection and Jewcha Libre in tag team action.
The fans cheer as Fantastico and Jew Blazer walk backwards up the ramp nodding.
Cody Williams Vs. Gio DeLuca
"Personal Jesus" by Marilyn Manson plays as ''The Reflection of Perfection' Cody Williams comes out to a chorus of boos. However, he is not dressed in his ring attire, rather he is dressed in a suit and tie. He lifts his arm up, microphone in hand and taps it a few times to check if it is working.
Cody Williams: When I came to Empire Wrestling, I came here to face the best competition that this promotion had to offer. All I heard while I was in Japan was about how Empire Wrestling was the hottest promotion out there today, and that it was the place to be. And that if you proved yourself, you would get a shot at competing for the BWF, the greatest wrestling promotion in the world today.
He walks up the ring steps and wipes his oxfords on the ring canvas before stepping through the ropes.
Cody Williams: But I have been here three months already and who have I faced? Azurine Vebbins?... Chris Vector?... Austin Boonchan?.. Casey Grey?... A list that reads like a who's who of wrestling rejects! Where is the competition that I heard so much about? Where is the competition that I crave? Please tell me, because quite frankly everyone I have faced have been fours.. Fives at best. My only losses were because Vector was so upset that I was the first person to pin him.. And then become the first person to choke him out.. That he cost me my match... And the other because I walked out on my own accord because I wasn't satisfied with the kind of...
He does quote fingers.
Cody Williams: 'competition' I was given. For weeks I made it perfectly clear that if the Mason or any of you idiots in the audience ever want to be graced with my presence in this very ring then I DEMAND and EXPECT.. REAL competition!
He removes his sunglasses and places them in his breast pocket, letting out a small chuckle as he turns his attention to across the ring.
Cody Williams: And your answer to that is... Gio Deluca?!?! Well then consider this your lucky day Gio, because I am saving you from the beat down I WOULD have given you for disgracing me with your presence in MY ring! I said it before and I will say it again…
Cody turns his attention to the ramp, making sure his point gets across and he is heard.
Cody Williams: MASON!!!... Until you give me what I deserve: a challenge, an opportunity, or a championship match, don't count on me showing up and delivering. I am GOD'S GIFT... to PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING!!! And until I am treated as such and you decide to put me in a deserving SPOT... don't expect me to grace you with my presence.
He flips his microphone and lets it drop out of his hand. Cody pulls his sunglasses out of his jacket and puts them back on just as the lights go off. A child’s voice says as “I’m going to kill you” over and over. It stops as “Horrifiction” by Lordi starts to play as the lights pulsate red and dark again, red and dark again, and so. Smoke rises on the stage and as it starts to dissipate, the fans roar seeing “The Monster Messiah” Martin Karloff sitting on his knees. He’s wearing a headdress and rolls forward and right up to his feet. He throws his arms out before making his way to the ring. He crawls up the ring steps and through the bottom and middle ropes. The lights come up as he stands and Cody Williams hasn’t budged from the center of the ring.
Scott Parker: Martin Karloff is in the Warehouse!
Karloff looks at Williams and looks at his tie and then into his sunglasses. Karloff reached up and took William’s glasses off and begun to look at them. Williams blasted Karloff with a right hand and Karloff hit the mat before bouncing right up. Williams lifted Karloff onto his shoulders and wanted to hit the Carpe Omnia (Fireman's carry popped up into a roundhouse kick to the head) but Karloff struggled off his shoulders after hard elbows to the side of the head. Karloff lifted Williams up for the Ritual Disembowelment (Fireman’s Carry Gutbuster) but Williams slipped right off and landed behind Karloff. Karloff flipped backwards and hit the Sine Oculus (Pele Kick) as the fans roared. Williams rolled out of the ring and ripped off his tie and jumped back onto the apron. Karloff went at him and Williams jumped off the apron and took a deep breath before walking around the ring the long way and made his way up the ramp.
Gemma Foster: Cody said he wanted some competition!
Karloff grabbed Williams’ sunglasses and looked at himself in the lenses.
No Sign
Wade Mason is seen walking around the backstage area and questions everyone he sees, asking if they’ve seen Macbeth or Azarov and all say no.
Gemma Foster: What do you think Mr. Mason will do if neither of them show up?
Scott Parker: I know he doesn’t want to be strong armed by some silly lawsuit but his job is to handle situations like this. That last thing anyone needs is for Macbeth to appear and have Mosh take things to court.
Ursula Areano & Hurst Dynasty Vs. Casey Grey & Freaks with Benefits
Rae and Williams were the first two to start the match off as they entered the ring for their teams. Rae pulled Williams into a grapple and floated into a wristlock. Rae went into a side headlock and looked for a bulldog but was pushed off and into the ropes. Mercier tagged himself as Rae ran the ropes and he climbed into the ring. Williams hit Rae with a backdrop and turned to Mercier. Mercier hit Williams with a kick to the gut and then a hard elbow to the back of the head. He locked in a sleeper hold and Williams trashed about. She pushed her feet off the turnbuckles and landed backwards onto Mercier and he broke the hold as she rolled to her feet. Williams went for a Russian legsweep but Mercier broke out with elbows to the head. She staggered away and tagged out to Grey. Areano begged for Mercier to tag her in and he made his way over as Grey wanted Areano too. The two stood in the ring across from each other as Areano and Grey both charged each other and took each other down with double clotheslines. They both got to their feet quickly and tackled each other and began to throw wild punches at each other. Areano pulled Grey to her feet but was planted by Grey’s GTO (DDT). Grey shouted as she was fired up. She pulled Areano to her feet and Areano started to try and fight out with hard right hands. Areano hit Grey with a spinning backfist. She looked for the Fist of Fury (KO Punch) but Grey ducked it. Grey started to lift Areano up for the Racklash (Rack Attack) but Areano fought out and tagged out to Rae. Grey tagged out to Taylor and chased after Areano. Areano and Grey exchanged left and rights as they fought all the way up the ramp and into the backstage area.
Gemma Foster: Casey and Ursula do not like each other one bit.
Scott Parker: I think this just shows that the Primetime Championship is a championship worth fighting for.
Rae hit Taylor with Gah Damn (Superkick). She pulled Taylor in and was applied a front facelock. Taylor countered into a northern lights suplex and bridged into a pin for two as Mercier broke it up. Williams jumped into the ring and hit Mercier with Last Breath (Swinging Inverted DDT). Rae dumped Williams over the top ropes and was grabbed from behind by Taylor. Taylor shouted and then hit her with the Broadway Lights (Cross Rhodes) and covered for a victory.
Williams grabbed the Tag Team Titles and rolled into the ring and handed one to Taylor as the two celebrated.
Billy Way Vs. Bailey Mayhew
Way took his time getting into the ring as he held the title in the air and walked around the ring.
Scott Parker: Billy Way must be feeling really good about things right now. No Ben Macbeth coming forward tonight means no title match at the Animosity Supershow.
Way finally made his way into the ring and kept his distance from Mayhew. The two danced around each other and Way kept dodging her trying to grapple. She went forward at him against and he hit her with a kick to the gut and then delivered a swinging neckbreaker. Mayhew climbed to her feet and hit Way with a palm strike to the chest. She connected with a spinning back kick to the gut and hit a sit-out faceplant. Mayhew pulled Way to his feet and tossed him into the corner. She connected with a swinging corner clothesline and Way staggered forward. She springboarded back into the ring and took him down with a hurricanrana. Mayhew dove onto a cover and just got two as Way kicked out. Way powered his way to his feet and hit Mayhew with a forearm club to the head. He sent her into the ropes and connected with a big boot on her return. He jumped to the second ropes and dove with a diving elbow to the chest. He covered but only got a two. Mayhew was pulled up to her feet and sent into the corner. Way unloaded with hard clotheslines before twisting her around and sent her into the posts with a northern lights suplex. Way pulled her out of the corner and dropped into a cover, once again getting two.
Scott Parker: Bailey showing a lot of fight here by kicking out of a move like that.
Way pulled Mayhew back up slowly by her hair. Mayhew hit a back elbow and turned herself and looked for Into the Sunset (Asai DDT) but Way countered into a belly to back suplex. Way hit the ropes as Mayhew stood and he hit her with Feel This (R-Truth's Corkscrew flying forearm smash). Way made his way to the corner and looked for the Final Destination (Moonsault) but Mayhew rolled out of the way. He staggered to his feet and was hit with the Brain Damage (Chris Hero's Death Blow). Mayhew pulled Way into position for Wings of a Butterfly (Butterfly Suplex) but he broke free and rolled out of the ring. He grabbed the EW Heavyweight Championship and started to make his way up the ramp, done with the match. The referee made the count of ten and awarded the match to Mayhew.
Mayhew had her hand raised in victory as the fans gave her a cheer. Way shrugged and showed off the championship. The fans cheered and Way turned around to see Ben Macbeth standing there. Way swung at him but Macbeth ducked it and kicked Way with a hard kick to the knee that dropped him to the other. Macbeth planted his feet and hit the From Parts Unknown (360 Buzzsaw Kick). Macbeth picked up the EW Heavyweight Championship and held onto it for a few moments before dropping it on Way as the show went to black.
