Episode #62 - December 19, 2020
Austin Scott Vs. AJ Jenkynx
The Start: Jenkynx and Scott both came to the ring and quickly started to trash talk each other in the middle of the ring. Scott Parker detailed the last time these two men faced off back in August in an Extreme Division match which Austin Scott won. AJ Jenkynx had a lot to prove as he had strung together a couple wins in a row.
The Match: This match was a hard hitting match as Scott tried to wear down Jenkynx. AJ started to explode with quick, high paced moves. Scott tried to end it with the Ace in the Hole (Rikishi Driver) but AJ countered with a DDT and a two count pinfall attempt. AJ tried to lock in his 7 Deadly Sins (Rings Of Saturn) but Austin was able to slip free and counter with a roll up for two.
The End: AJ Jenkynx missed a spinning heel kick that Austin Scott then started to set up for his Law and Order (Pumphandle Slam) but Jenkynx counted into a small package to pick up a three count fall.
WINNER: AJ Jenkynx @ 12:31 via pinfall
Gemma Foster: AJ Jenkynx has put together a small series of wins here. You have to think this is doing wonders for his stock. He might be challenging for gold before we know it.
Wednesday’s Alright for Fighting, Too
The Angle: Sara Logan was backstage as she made an announcement that all future Breakout shows would air on Wednesday nights, moving from the Tuesday night that we have seen for the first few. She let us know that this is the first of changes geared towards making 2021 yet another amazing year for Empire Wrestling.
AJ Adams Vs. Marilyn Lee Cross
The Start: Before the match we got a video package showing Marilyn Lee Cross’ rise to the Primetime Championship before it staticed to AJ Adams. He cut a promo talking about needing to make changes as he’s lost some sort of edge. He promised for MLC, tonight would be LIGHTS OUT.
The Match: MLC had a step on Adams early on and landed hard palm strikes. A Hand of God (Spinning Backfist) seemed to really daze Adams as it popped him in the ear. He seemed disorientated and had trouble standing. After a few hard fists from Adams, he was able to hit the Rough Landing (Blackheart Buster) and things started to turn his way. He took control and was able to ground MLC for much of the match.
The End: Adams tried to lock in Lights Out (Tazzmission) but MLC pushed her foot off the middle rope and pushed Adams to the mat and flipped behind him for a cover for two before he let go. They both got to their feet and MLC landed Knee Harvey Oswald (Running Knee to the side of an opponent's head). Adams dropped in a heap as the referee checked on him. Blood started to trickle out of his ear and the referee called the bell to end the match.
WINNER: Marilyn Lee Cross via stoppage @ 12:09
Scott Parker: AJ may have a ruptured eardrum early on and that knee to the head ended this match.
MLC held up her title after the match and left the trainers in the ring to check on Adams.
Ursula Von Rossbach Vs. Dokueki
The Match: These two competitors wanted to go blow for blow with somewhat similar styles with their power and MMA styles mixing well together. The fans were excited as the two landed strike after strike and stood across from each other and just ate the blows. The palms of Dokueki were flying fast and furious, striking Von Rossbach. It looked like Dokueki was about to lift up Von Rossbach with a suplex but UVR countered into a suplex of her own. A big powerslam from UVR to Dokueki seemed to turn the tides. UVR slowed the match down and landed power moves to Dokueki including suplexes, slams, and a big scoop backbreaker. UVR looked for the Sambo Chokeslam but Dokueki countered and spun away before hitting a dropkick to the knees of UVR. This allowed Dokueki to his her Shining Black and cover for two and UVR kicked out with force.
The End: The match started to spill out of the ring and made it to the apron. Dokueki hit a palm strike but UVR hit her with a big headbutt that caused her to fall to the outside. UVR was stunned for a few moments on the apron before coming back inside as the count had started. Dokueki started to pull herself in at 9 but couldn’t make the 10 as the referee called for the bell.
WINNER: Ursula Von Rossbach @ 11:33 via countout
Extreme Division Match
Kasey Kash Vs. Harper Blake
The Start: Harper Blake came to the ring with a chair, Kasey Kash came down with a kendo stick wrapped in barbed wire that got a pop from fans, and the ring was surrounded by trash cans, chairs, and other various weapons. These two quickly went at it blow for blow.

He caught it and she hit him with a big running boot to the face. These two beat on each other and Blake had a trash can slammed down on her head. He then connected with a ripcord knee strike to the face. WINNER: Kasey Kash @ 9:08 via pinfall
Tia Santos Vs. Jason Evans
The Set-Up: These two ran into each other just behind the curtain before this match was set to start. Kaito Hirano and Jason Evans shouted at Tia Santos before Kamila Rose came and joined the fray. Kaito screamed things in Japanese as Tia shouted in Spanish. Evans clocked Rose which erupted the situation into a two on two brawl.
The Conclusion: Sara Logan had the two teams separated and announced that it would be Santos and Rose taking on Dishonor, in a tag team match, on Breakout this Wednesday night.
Go, My Dove
The Set-Up: We saw Manic backstage with Lacy Nelson as the main event was about to start. Nelson appeared to be in the daze we’ve seen her in for weeks now as Manic whispered something in her ear. Lacy nodded after and walked towards the ring.
The Conclusion: Manic’s laughter echoed throughout the hallways as the lights flickered and she was gone a moment later.
FM Young Vs. Lacy Nelson
The Start: We were reminded that if Lacy Nelson won tonight it would earn Manic a shot at the World Championship at Next Level: Turmoil on January 2nd. Nelson was out first and came out to no music and no emotion as the fans didn’t know how to react. FM Young came out to a big pop with the World Title on her shoulder. Once she got into the ring she tried to talk to Lacy, even pleading with her to snap out of her funk. The bell rang as Young kept trying to talk to her but it was Nelson that struck first with a hard forearm to the face.
The Match: These two, knowing each other well, were able to counter most of the holds and strikes that the other tried to go for. For every ace cutter Lacy would attempt, FM would look for a German that Lacy would then flipped behind her. Lacy would look for a German of her own and FM would counter with a hard elbow to the head. Nelson looked for her big superkick early on but FM was able to duck it and hit the first hard hitting more with a Man-Machine Interface (Discus Clothesline). Young started to land hard blows on Nelson and hit a huge spear and dropped to her knees. She covered and Nelson kicked out at two and Young once again tried to get her to snap out of her daze. Nelson tilted her head before rocking Young with a big headbutt that stunned them both. Nelson delivered the Deadline (Tiger Driver '98) and covered for a two that was almost three. Nelson delivered a corner hip check and covered for another two. Young rolled out of the ring to recover and jumped to the apron. Nelson charged and ran into a forearm to the face. Young climbed back into and hit a German suplex and started to take control once again.
The End: It looked like the match was coming to an end when Young hit her Stand Alone Complex (Elevated gutbuster) and covered but Nelson got a foot on the ropes at two. Nelson slowly pulled herself up to her feet on the ropes and caught a charging Young with a knee strike. Nelson hit the Byline (Canadian Destroyer) and covered and Young kicked out at two. Nelson took a few seconds to recover before pulling Young up. Nelson looked for a superkick and Young blocked it and hit another Man-Machine Interface. The blow seemed to stun Nelson as she kept blinking rapidly. She reached out to FM and then was hit with a knee strike to the head. Young shouted at Nelson to wake up and come home. Nelson slowly got to her feet and Young checked on her but Nelson pushed her away. Nelson started to set up for Headline (Eat Defeat) but Young spun away. Young got behind Nelson and delivered the Human Error Processor (Assault Driver). Young covered and Nelson was barely able to kick out. Young was on her knees beside Nelson and Nelson started to sit up as Young stepped back. FM took a step forward to help her up but Lacy swung wildly like a caged animal. FM looked at Lacy and said “I’m sorry” before pulling her up and hitting her with the Heart of a Phoenix (Lumbar Check) and covering for the win.
WINNER: FM Young @ 16:37 via pinfall
Gemma Foster: FM did everything she could to not pull the trigger on that but she had to do it. She’s defeated Lacy Nelson but at what cost?
The Aftermath: FM Young collected the World Title and held it as she went and checked on Lacy Nelson. Young gave her a kiss on the forehead and rolled out of the ring as the referee checked on Lacy as well. Once FM was at the top of the ramp she looked back down and Lacy was now leaning against the ropes. She looked up at FM and wrinkled her forehead in thought and held the side of her head as we went off-air.
