Episode #63 - January 9, 2021
Rightfully Due
The Angle: The show kicked off with all four members of Hell’s Belles standing in the ring. Casey Grey had a microphone in hand and looked into the camera. She cut a promo about the battle royal at Next Level: Turmoil and showed clips of how she never went over a top rope. She fell through the second and as she tried to get back in was pushed off, then someone fell on her, trainers helping her to the back.
She looked up the ramp and continued, calling out Lacy Nelson. Harper Blake responded by coming out and said that she agreed that Casey had a claim and therefore wanted tonight’s match to be a #1 contender match. Sara Logan appeared on the screen and said she understood Casey’s reasoning and would take everything under consideration.
Johnny Draco Vs. Noavrra Vs. Kasey Kash
The Start: Noavrra was fired up coming down to the ring as she was eager to compete and wanted a big win here tonight. Draco attacked Kash from behind on the ramp as he entered and the match got started. Noavrra jumped out of the ring to meet them and the three started to brawl. They eventually made it to the ring as things were fast paced.
The Match: The match itself was hard hitting as each competitor was putting all they could into each blow. Kash started to battle back and hit Draco with a blue thunder bomb. He looked for a spinning backfist on Noavrra but she ducked it and hit a big German suplex. Kash stood and fell into the corner and Noavrra hit him with a big corner splash. She moved out of the way and Draco hit him with a corner spear. Draco turned around and was hit with a running forearm to the face. Both Draco and Kash were seated in the corner and Noavrra hit a big corner cannonball splash onto them. Noavrra took control of the match and had a handful of near-falls. Draco was able to hit her with the End Game (Flying Neckbreaker) and slowed her down. He started to build momentum in the match with quick strikes and a big standing dropkick. He started to lift Kash for a Death Valley Driver but Kash countered with a DDT.
The End: Kash hit Noavrra with a ripcopd knee strike and then set up for the Aussie Knee Party (Shining Wizard) but she was able to duck it. Kash ran right into Draco’s Regime Drop (Rock Bottom). He went into a cover but Noavrra jumped and connected with Down With The Thiccness (Seated senton/hip drop to the head/neck of the opponent). She pulled Draco off and covered to pick up the victory.
WINNER: Noavrra via pinfall @ 13:44
The Aftermath: Noavrra celebrated and was approached by Kash as he gave her a quick nod of respect, possibly setting up a showdown between the two. Draco got to his feet and blindsided her with an attack from behind and landed a hard forearm and looked for a Regime Drop but Noavrra battled back and Draco left the ring in a hurry and made his way up the ramp.
Outlaw Vs. Jason Evans Vs. Alicia Monroe
The Start: The Primetime Champion Marilyn Lee Cross was sitting ringside for this match.
The Match: Evans was moving quickly around the ring with fast strikes as Monroe kept trying to ground him. Outlaw was still knocking off some of the ring-rust but looked good in the ring. He flipped her right into the Harsh Punishment (Border City Stretch) but she refused to tap before Evans broke it up. Evans quickly pulled Outlaw up and hit the Fate's Dagger (Falcon Arrow). The End: With Monroe in control, she started to head to the top rope. Evans rushed her and jumped to the second rope as he was setting up for a suplex off the top. Outlaw came over and grabbed Evans and hit a powerbomb, flipping Monroe to the mat as well. Outlaw popped up to the top rope and hit Monroe with It Came From Above II (Frog splash) and covered for a win.
WINNER: Outlaw via pinfall @ 10:39

Finding the Fight
Kevin Olson caught up with the new World Champion Lacy Nelson backstage as she flashed the white strap title on her shoulder. She removed her sunglasses and Olson quickly jumped into a question.
Kevin Olson: Lacy, what do you have to say about Casey Grey’s claim to being #1 contender?
Lacy Nelson: I say bring it on, Kev. Everyone knows that the last couple months have been weird for me. To be honest, I’m still trying to find myself and remember who I really am. One thing I do remember well is that the last time I held this title I defended it as much as I could. I was proud to the the champion of Empire Wrestling and holding this -
She pats the title.
Lacy Nelson: gives me a sense of pride, a sense of purpose. If Casey Grey is given the opportunity I am more than willing to defend this title against her. I look forward to fighting a lot of the talent here in Empire Wrestling, Kev.
The lights flickered backstage and as they came up Kevin Olson was gone and the words MANIC were painted on the walls. Lacy froze as if she saw a ghost and looked around, quickly leaving the area.
