Next Level: Turmoil - January 28, 2023
Scott Parker: Welcome home! We’re back after a hiatus and this is the first Next Level: Turmoil since January of 2021! Tonight, we return with an action packed show and every championship will be on the line. We’ll be headlined by Tia Santos looking to defend the EW World Championship and take us into 2023 as champion as she takes on AJ Adams.
Gemma Foster: That’s right, Scott! I’m so excited to be back here with you tonight and can’t wait to see those two go at it! Tia and AJ competed all the way back at Next Level: Victorem in July in that triple threat match with Casey Grey. Tia walked out the winner as she pinned Casey Grey to retain the championship. AJ has wanted this one on one match for months!
Scott Parker: Speaking of Casey Grey, we’ll see her compete tonight as well! She’s one of the greatest Primetime Champions in history and tonight she’ll look to capture the title for the fourth time.
Gemma Foster: Yeah, but she’s going against one of the greatest champions, PERIOD, in EW’s history as Marilyn Lee Cross defends. Say her name, Scott.
Scott Parker: But let’s start things off tonight with the Spartan Championship!
EW Spartan Championship
Melody Slayon Vs. Austin Scott Vs. Kayla Taylor Vs. Martin West (c)
The Scrappy Songbird, Melody Slayton, was the first one to the ring with a big pop from the crowd as they were excited for action inside the Warehouse once again. Slayton was clearly excited and fired up as she made her way to the ring. Taylor came out next and had a fierce look on her face as she made her way down to the ring. Foster and Parker spoke on Kayla wanting to make it the “Year of Pureheart” and have her biggest year of her career. Scott came out quickly, ready for a fight. ‘God’s Gonna Cut You Down’ by Johnny Cash kicked up as boos filled the arena for the “Reverend” Martin West. The Spartan Champion made his way to the ring and things were set to get started.
The Start: This match saw hard hitting action right from the start as the two brawlers, Austin Scott and Martin West, went blow for blow. Scott hit a big chop across the chest of West and West came right back with a forearm smash. West hit a series of strikes to the gut before clubbing lariat to the chest. Across the ring, Slayton and Taylor started things off by sharing words and things got heated quickly. Taylor tried to hit a belly to belly suplex but Slayton countered free and hit a scoop slam that she followed with an elbow to the chest. Slayton worked over Taylor before it was her and West standing in the ring. Slayton charged West and unloaded with a flurry of strikes. West drove his knee into her gut and drove her into the mat with a running bulldog. West was clearly in control in the early stages of the match.
The Match: West tried to move his strikes around to keep each competitor off balance, never sticking to one competitor for too long. Taylor and Scott both attacked West and were able to toss him out of the ring. Their alliance was short lived as Scott hit a big German suplex. Scott pulled Taylor up and delivered a double underhook powerbomb. Scott was fired up and Slayton came off the top and hit the Sonic Rainboom (Poisonrana)! She covered and had a near fall at two before Scott kicked out. Slayton readied herself and wanted to hit the Full Effect superkick but West pulled her out of the ring and tossed her into the barricade. Taylor hit a kick to the gut of West and delivered her Plan A (Shining Wizard)! Taylor got into the ring and charged at Scott but was hit with a big spinebuster!
Scott lifted Taylor up and delivered his Booze Cruisin' (Oklahoma Slam). Scott went to run the ropes but was tripped up on the outside by West. He climbed into the ring and hit Scott with a running knee to the face as he started to get up. West saw an opening and climbed to the top and delivered the Exorcism (Diving Headbutt)! He went into a cover and was pulled off by Slayton. West started to get up and Slayton hit This Magic Moment (V Trigger)! She turned and hit Taylor with the Full Effect 2.0 (Superkick, followed by a shining wizard). Slayton jumped to the middle ropes and hit Scott with the Glitter Bomb (Panama Sunrise)! She went into a cover and had a two before West broke it up!
The End: West pulled Slayton up and the two exchanged blows before West hit a big headbutt! He grabbed her arms and delivered his Inquisition (Arm-trap headbutts) which caused her to stumble back and fall on her butt. Taylor grabbed West and tried to hit the Merry Go Round (Spin Fisherman Suplex) but he was able to fight free and delivered the Come-To-Jesus Moment (Haymaker Punch)! West turned to Scott who charged with Straight Whiskey (Running Lariat) but West ducked it. West spun him around and delivered the Baptism (Cradle Piledriver)! Slayton grabbed West and tossed him out of the ring and dove onto Scott. She got a two count before West pulled her off of the cover and to the outside. She looked for This Magic Moment but she went knee first into the apron as West moved. West rolled into the ring and hit Scott with the Come-To-Jesus Moment and covered for the win.
WINNER AND STILL EW SPARTAN CHAMPION: “Reverend” Martin West via pinfall @ 17:03
West was handed the Spartan Championship as he stood in the center of the ring and celebrated. He raised his hand in victory before taking a knee as he cut away.
EW Extreme Championship
Harper Blake Vs. Manic (c)
Scott Parker: It’s time for our second championship match of the night and we’re going Extreme!
The Start: There were six trash cans around the ring filled with various objects. Blake came to the ring first and adjusted her kick pads and knee pads. She took a few deep breaths before Manic started to make her way down next. She crawled out to the stage and down the ramp. Manic removed the Extreme Championship and tossed it into the ring under the ropes and pulled herself inside. Manic charged and speared Blake and the bell sounded! Manic pounded on Blake and tried to claw at her eyes as Blake covered up. Manic pulled Blake up and landed hard forearms to the side of the head and hit a spinning back kick to the gut. Blake ducked a clothesline and delivered a sidewalk slam. Both competitors were up quickly and Blake hit a Russian leg sweep. Blake pulled Manic up but Manic quickly sent her up and over the top rope and to the floor. Blake grabbed a kendo stick and wacked Manic as she climbed out of the ring. Blake started to assault Manic with hard shots. Manic screamed and came back with a spinning backfist. These two started to fight around the floor to the cheers of the fans.
The Match: The two competitors fought around the ring and Manic got a trash can involved by smashing it over the head of Blake. Blake got a cut on her forehead but kept coming at Manic. Manic delivered the Breakneck (Fireman's Carry Neckbreaker) onto a trash can and Blake went limp. Manic pulled her up and rolled her into the ring and covered for what was somehow just two. Manic wiped Blake blood across her own chest and smacked her knee. Manic looked for her Splitting Headache (Bicycle Knee Strike) but Blake was able to get out of the way and countered into the CMS (Quasedora Flipping Facebuster)!
The End: Blake had a steel chair and used it to attack the back of Manic over and over. Manic finally got to her feet and grabbed the chair and tossed it aside. Manic hit a spinning back kick, a lifting kick to the chest, and then Insane in the Membrane (Kneecap Brainbuster)! Manic brought a table into the ring and set it up. The referee checked on Blake who was still losing some blood. Manic pushed the referee away and pulled Blake up and pulled her into the corner. Blake tried fighting back but Manic drove a knee into Blake's gut and then clawed at her forehead. Manic lifted Blake to the top rope and wanted a superplex through the table but Blake blocked it. Blake put it all on the line as she started to headbutt Manic as blood splattered between the two. Blake positioned herself and delivered her Falcon Arrow off the top and through the table! Blake covered and secured a pinfall victory to capture championship gold for the first time in her career!
WINNER AND NEW EW EXTREME CHAMPION: Harper Blake via pinfall @ 14:19
Blake was handed a towel as she tossed it and let her battle scars show as she held up the championship.
Gemma Foster: Harper Blake can taste more than her own blood here tonight, Scott. She’s a champion now!

EW Tag Team Championship
The Crew Vs. The Radicalliance (Josh Goldstein & Ronnie North) (c)
The Start: Josh and Jack Williams of the Crew came out to the ring first as the fans were buzzing from the last match. There was a pop as 'Do Ya Wanna Taste It' by Wig Wam started to play and out came Brooklyn’s Best Luchador, Josh Goldstein. The fans cheered for Goldstein as he then pointed behind him and EW fans were treated to “the Prince of Pleasure” Ronnie North for the first time in the EW Warehouse.
Scott Parker: That, ladies and gentlemen, is Ronnie North. This is the Radicalliance, your EW Tag Team Champions.
Gemma Foster: EW Management has allowed Josh Goldstein to find a new partner as it seems the Crimson Ghost has stepped away?
Scott Parker: Has he? For all we know he’s out there somewhere and just isn’t wrestling under the mask.
Jack and Goldstein were set to start the match first and Williams tried to lock up with Goldstein but the Brooklyn Luchador side stepped and hit a jumping neckbreaker! Goldstein used his speed and ran the ropes before landing a dropkick to Williams as he stood. Jack Williams was able to deliver a suplex and tag in his brother, Josh. Josh grabbed Goldstein’s leg and rolled him backwards and to his feet. Williams looked for a superkick but Goldstein dodged it and hit a headscissors takedown. Goldstein and North delivered their Inception Scoop Slam (Josh scoop slams an opponent and tags in Ronnie who then scoop slams Josh on top of their opponent) as the crowd gets their first taste of North. North started to clap as the fans clapped along with him. A big stiff clothesline leveled Williams before North could lift him back up and delivered a reverse atomic drop after sending him into the ropes.
The Match: It was clear that the champions had momentum throughout the match and North was impressing the fans in attendance. Jack Williams was in the ring and was knocked down with a jumping DDT by Goldstein. Goldstein tagged out to North and Josh Williams charged but ran into an arm drag. Williams popped up and North treated the fans to the Careless Whisper (Ronnie picks his opponent up for a delayed vertical suplex and holds them vertically as Josh leads the crowd in mimicking the sax solo from the song ‘Careless Whisper’ for probably longer than is reasonable).
Gemma Foster: The crowd is eating it up!
Josh Williams rolled out of the ring and Jack was back up. Jack caught North with a superkick. He turned to Goldstein who took him down with the Code Red!
The End: Josh Williams rolled back into the ring and North lifted Goldstein and they hit the Maximum Yeet (A Rocket Launcher [Ronnie tossing Josh]) and Goldstein hit a crossbody! Goldstein went for a cover but got two as Jack Williams broke it up. Jack hit a running crossbody on North and then turned to Goldstein. Jack Williams looked for a Quasedora roll up but Goldstein countered into a sit out facebuster. Jack rolled out of the ring as Goldstein tagged in North. Josh Williams was sent into the ropes and the duo connected with the E-RAD-Icator (Flapjack [Ronnie] into a Double Knee Gutbuster [Josh]) and North covered for the victory!
WINNERS AND STILL EW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: The Radicalliance (Josh Goldstein & Ronnie North)
Gemma Foster: A big welcome win for Ronnie North here in Empire Wrestling!
Goldstein and North celebrated in the ring as the fans cheered on.
Daniel Daemon Vs. Lacy Nelson
Gemma Foster: I’m excited for this next one, Scott. It was a little over 4 years ago that Lacy Nelson debuted at this very event as she shocked the world by attacking Chelsea Pryce and FM Young in their main event match.
Scott Parker: Her first match back in 10 months is against one of her biggest rivals. That man is the holder of the Victorem Contract. He is the Emperor of the Empire. It’s going to be one hell of a match!
The Start: “Come and Get It” by I Prevail played in the Warehouse for the first time in 10 months as the fans cheered. Lacy Nelson came bouncing out sideways and threw her hands up. She pulled down her sunglasses and flipped up the collar on her jacket as she hit the ring. Those same cheers turned to boos as “Twist of Cain” by Danzig hit and Daniel Daemon was introduced as the “Untethered Emperor”. He carried the Victorem briefcase to the ring and handed it off to the timekeeper. Daemon and Nelson stood across from each other as fans roared. They walked up to each other and Nelson looked up as Daemon looked down. The tension filled the air as Nelson looked around to take it in. Nelson went to offer her hand and Daemon leveled her with a headbutt! Nelson stumbled to her feet and Daemon flipped her inside out with the Imperial Decree (POWERFUL running lariat)! He covered and Nelson just kicked out at two! She rolled out of the ring and used some distance to reset herself.
Scott Parker: Daniel Daemon is taking the right to Lacy!
Nelson was checked on by medics as she shook her head and said she was good before climbing back into the ring. Nelson side stepped a big boot and threw some forearm shots to the kidneys of Daemon. She ducked another lariat and hit a jumping neckbreaker. Daemon got to his feet and Nelson took him down with a tornado DDT. She went to the second rope and jumped, looking for a leg drop but Daemon got out of the way. Daemon delivered a hard uppercut and lifted Nelson up with a gorilla press and slammed her down onto the mat. Daemon bent down and easily lifted Nelson and delivered the Power of Asmodeus (Deadlift Delayed Gutwrench Suplex). Daemon stomped on Nelson, slowly, as he picked her apart.
The Match: Daemon had Nelson by the leg and delivered a dragon screw. He put his knee into the knee of Nelson. As he pulled on it as she screamed out. She refused to give up and grabbed the ropes to get a break. Nelson pulled herself up in the corner and Daemon charged for a corner splash but missed as Nelson moved. Nelson jumped up and hit her Le Gasp (Lungblower Backbreaker). She grabbed at her knee and stood up slowly. Daemon was in the corner, seated, and she hit Thunderstruck (Running Corner Hip Attack). Nelson was fired up and looked for another but this time Daemon moved! Daemon got to his feet and Nelson was driven into the mat with a chokeslam! Daemon pulled Nelson up slowly and had a handful of hair. He put his hand around Nelson’s throat and looked for another chokeslam but Nelson landed a kick to the gut and a chop to the throat. Nelson reared back and hit a superkick! Daemon stumbled and Nelson hit a second superkick! Daemon fell to a knee and Nelson hit the Headline (Eat Defeat)! Nelson went for a cover but only got one before Daemon kicked out just at two.
The End: Nelson and Daemon stood across from each other as the fans cheered again with “this is awesome” chants as these two long time rivals reared up. The charged each other and exchanged blows. The heavy hands of Daemon became too much for Nelson as she started to fall back to the ropes. Nelson leaned on the ropes and used them to hold herself up and hit a double kick to the gut of Daemon. She tried to set up for the Byline (Canadian Destroyer) but Daemon countered into an Alabama Slam. Daemon pulled Nelson up and lifted her before dropping her with the Twist of Cain II (Vertical Suplex Piledriver). Daemon dropped into a cover and the crowd roared as Nelson just barely put her foot on the ropes. Daemon seemed shocked as Nelson was pulled up. She tried to fight back but Daemon delivered a second Twist of Cain II and covered for the win.
WINNER: Daniel Daemon via pinfall @ 19:41
Daemon stood over Nelson as he looked down at her before we cut away.

EW PRIMETIME CHAMPIONSHIP
Casey Grey Vs. Marilyn Lee Cross (c)
The Start:Casey Grey stepped out to the stage along with her sister and tag team partner, Alicia Monroe. The two shared a handshake and a hug before Monroe went to the back and allowed Grey to make her way to the ring. Grey looked around the Warehouse that she’s called home since its inception. She rolled into the ring and tossed her hat into the crowd and threw up one finger.
Scott Parker: The three time Primetime Champion is looking in some of the best shape of her career, Gemma. She’s ready for this fight tonight!
Gemma Foster: SAY HER NAME, SCOTT!
The crowd popped for the entrance of the current Primetime Champion, Marilyn Lee Cross.
Gemma Foster: Let me take you back to October 31, 2020. Tainted Twilight. Marilyn Lee Cross ended the 71 day reign of Daniel Daemon to become the Primetime Champion and since that night she has defeated every challenger to her crown. Casey Grey may be a three time Primetime Champion but this championship will always be synonymous with MLC.
Cross flexed on the stage with one arm and held the title over the other shoulder. She made it to the ring and held the title high. The bell rang and the two competitors circled each other before finally locking up to cheers throughout the Warehouse. There was a quick arm drag from Grey and Cross popped right up and delivered a chop to the chest that she quickly followed up with a palm strike. Cross continued with an uppercut and a swinging neckbreaker. Grey climbed to her feet and rolled out of the way of the Mary Go Round (Discus Big Boot) and smiled while wagging her finger. The two matched strikes and takedowns before Grey was sent into the ropes and came back with a crossbody. Grey started to get a little momentum on her side and delivered a big spinebuster! Grey pulled Cross up and delivered a picture perfect GTO (Fisherman Driver). Grey was fired up and soaked up some cheers before going into a cover just barely two. Grey started to pull Cross up and Cross delivered the Downgrade (Superkick to knee). Cross hit the ropes and rocked Grey with Knee Harvey Oswald (Running Knee to the side of an opponent's head)! Grey rolled out of the ring before Cross could cover and shook off the blow as quickly as she could.
The Match: Cross and Grey fought around the outside of the ring and Grey tried to bounce Cross off the announce table but Cross blocked it and drove an elbow into her gut. The referee tried to get them into the ring but allowed them to fight. Cross lifted Grey up and dropped her face first into the announce table. Cross climbed onto the apron and talked to the referee and turned around and hit Grey with a meteora! Cross slammed her hands on the announce table and pulled Grey up before rolling her into the ring. Grey crawled to a corner and Cross climbed inside the ring and looked for a handspring back elbow but Grey moved at the last moment. Grey delivered the Breath Mint (Forearm Smash) and dropped Cross. Grey pulled Cross up and set her up for the Racklash (Rack Attack) but Cross was able to struggle and free herself and countered right into a butterfly suplex! Grey got up and Cross delivered the Mary Go Round! Cross pulled Grey up and delivered the Button Down (Big Bang Theory) and covered for two!
Scott Parker: A close two count there! Cross is really taking it to Casey Grey right now!
Cross kept on the assault and tried to lock in the Hungry Jaws (Dragon Sleeper w/ body scissors) but Grey wouldn’t let her lock her legs in for the body scissors. Grey struggled as Cross had it locked in right until Grey was able to flip herself backwards and pin Cross’ shoulders to the mat for two! Grey looked around and asked the referee if it was three, thinking it was over.
Scott Parker: Casey Grey almost countered into a big win there!
Casey Grey pulled Marilyn Lee Cross up to her feet and landed a hard uppercut. Cross came back with a chop to the chest. The two went blow for blow with the fans cheering along as the strikes became more and more vicious. Grey grabbed the wrist of Cross and tried to deliver the Copperhead Road (Cobra Clutch/Single Knee Backstabber) but Cross spun out and drove her knee into the gut of Grey. Cross looked for Do A Barrel Roll (Cartwheel Death Valley Driver) but Grey slipped behind Cross as she started to lift her up. Gray grabbed Cross and lifted her up and dropped for the Racklash! Grey hooked both legs and got two before Cross kicked out!
Gemma Foster: The champion kicks out of the Racklash!
Casey Grey slowly got to her feet and leaned on the ropes as Cross sat up. “This is awesome” chants echoed throughout the Warehouse. Grey urged Cross to get up and readied herself. Cross was up and Grey charged for her Breath Mint but Cross countered into a uranage slam! Cross roared and pulled Grey up to her knees before hitting the ropes and delivering the Knee Harvey Oswald! Cross dropped her back onto Grey for a cover and Grey kicked out just before three!
The End: Cross was shocked but quickly pulled herself together and walked around the ring, stalking Grey. Her attention was turned to the ramp as Alicia Monroe came down and was cheering her sister on. Cross turned for a moment and Grey rolled her up for a shocking two count. Cross and Grey rolled to their feet and Cross looked for the Catch Your Breath (Striking Spear) but Grey moved out of the way and Cross speared through the referee!
Gemma Foster: The referee is down!
Cross checked on the referee and Grey spun her around but ate a headbutt. Cross grabbed Grey and locked in the Hungry Jaws (Dragon Sleeper w/ body scissors)! Grey tapped out but there was no referee there to call it. Cross let go and went to the referee and tried to get her up. Monroe grabbed the Primetime Championship and rolled into the ring. She looked to hit Cross with it but Cross sidestepped and sent her up and over the top rope. Grey rolled Cross up and had a three count but the referee still wasn’t up. A second ran down and counted to two when Cross kicked out. Grey quickly transitioned into the Bitch Muzzle (Crossface) in the middle of the ring! Cross looked like she was able to tap but was able to roll enough to counter into a pin where Grey’s shoulders were down for three!
WINNER AND STILL EW PRIMETIME CHAMPION: Marilyn Lee Cross via pinfall @ 22:39
Gemma Foster: Say her name!
Scott Parker: I have no idea how Cross just survived that match.
Cross snatched the title off the mat and quickly rolled out of the ring and celebrated on the ramp as Monroe and Grey sat on the mat and talked.
EW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
AJ Adams Vs. Tia Santos (c)
Scott Parker: Main event time!
The Start: The Warehouse was on their feet for the arrival of the five-time World Champion, AJ Adams. He dropped to both knees at the top of the ramp and leaned back and put his arms out as he bathed in the cheers. He rolled forward and to his feet and made it to the ring.
Scott Parker: The 14 year vet is looking to capture his sixth World Championship here tonight, Gemma. This one has been building for months and months and tonight it’s finally come to a boil.
Gemma Foster: AJ Adams has had amazing matches around the world, against some of the best competitors, but tonight’s challenge may be his toughest. He’s up against, quite arguably, the greatest competitor to step foot inside the EW Warehouse. Tia Santos has NEVER been pinned or submitted inside the ring in a one on one match.
The mixed reaction for the champion was loud as the cheers tried to drown out the boos. The World Champion, Tia Santos, made her way to the stage next. She stood under a spotlight and the camera knelt down in front of her. She showed off the championship before making her way down. The two competitors stood in the ring and stepped up to each other after the bell sounded. Adams said a few things to Santos and offered hands to lock up. She didn’t seem interested and said something to him that caused him to chuckle and then slap her across the face! Adams tackled Santos into the corner and started unloading shots to her sides as she clubbed on his back.
Gemma Foster: And we’re off!
They exchanged blows in the corner before the referee forced a break. Santos quickly jumped onto the second turnbuckle and took Adams down with a headscissors takedown. Both competitors got to their feet and Santos delivered a striking combo with chops and quick kicks. Santos hit a spinning back kick to the gut and ran the ropes but was taken down with a shoulder tackle. She brushed it off and stood with a smile as Adams walked around the ring. She shouted at him to kneel in Spanish and Adams flipped her off as the fans cheered. Santos charged and was flipped over with an arm drag but Santos landed on her feet. She looked for a springboard crossbody but Adams caught her and delivered a spinning powerslam! Adams pulled her up and sent her hard into the corner. Adams charged and delivered a big forearm to the face and then delivered a running bulldog. Adams quickly lifted Santos and looked for a suplex but Santos countered and landed on her feet behind him. Adams turned and was rocked with a chick kick! Adams stumbled and Santos ran the ropes and hit a blockbuster neckbreaker!
The Match: Santos continued to use her speed and striking abilities to keep Adams from attacking. Adams looked for a German suplex but Santos flipped behind and landed on her feet. Adams started to turn and get up and she looked for a shining wizard but Adams countered and stood before hitting a Liger Bomb! He covered and Santos kicked out at two. Adams rolled Santos up and didn’t let up now that he had an opening. Adams lifted and dropped Santos with Rough Landing (Kneecap Brainbuster)! The veteran didn’t cover but instead quickly pulled Santos up and hit his LA to NY (Sitout inverted DDT) before rolling into a cover for just two!
Scott Parker: Adams tried to put Santos away there but she is just able to get her shoulder up.
Adams adjusted his knee pads as he sat beside Santos and started to pull her up. She was sent into the corner but Santos was able to deliver Vela en la Noche ([Candle in the Night] Tia either runs up the turnbuckle (depending on the pace of the match) and performs a Whisper In The Wind leap off the top. She comes down onto her opponent’s shoulders and nails a hurricanrana)! Adams rolled out of the ring but Santos ran to the corner and launched herself off the top to the outside with Muerta Caída ([Dead Drop] Torpedo Plancha)! Santos pulled Adams up and rolled him into the ring as she climbed to the top rope. She dove and hit a big splash and covered, getting two! Santos took a few moments before trying to pull Adams up but he tripped her up and pushed her through the second and top rope and she fell to the outside. Adams looked around and hyped himself up. He ran the ropes and dove through them and took Santos out!
Gemma Foster: Adams pulling out all the stops here tonight!
Adams was fired up and pulled Santos up before he whipped her hard into the barricade. She went over the top and into the first row. Adams tried to grab her and she raked his eyes and then jumped to the top of the barricade and looked for a headscissors takedown. Adams kept himself up and swung Santos shoulder first into the barricade! Adams stumbled backwards and leaned on the announce table. Santos was up and approached but was hit with a kick. Santos battled back with an elbow to the face and Adams stumbled away to the apron. He climbed up and Santos jumped up on the other side of the turnbuckle. Adams smashed Santos’ face off the turnbuckle and started to pull her to the top as he climbed. Adams had Santos locked in and delivered LA to NY off the top rope!
Scott Parker: Both competitors are down but Adams is looking for a cover!
Adams put his arm across Santos and the referee started to come down for the three but noticed Santos’ foot was just under the ring!
Gemma Foster: Adams wins!
Scott Parker: Not so fast, Gemma!
Adams is told Santos’ foot is under the rope and he’s in disbelief. He pulled Santos up and had her in place for the Legacy Maker (Sister Abigail) but Santos was able to drop and get her feet under the arms of Adams and flipped him down for a cover for two! Both competitors got to their feet and shouted at each other and charged, taking each other out with a double clothesline! The fans echoed “this is awesome” as both competitors were down.
The End: Adams was the first to his feet and ducked behind Santos and tried to lock in Lights Out (Tazzmission). Santos used the turnbuckle to walk up it and push back, flipping over Adams and pinning his shoulders down for two. Santos grabbed Adams as he stood and delivered the Beso de Muerte ([Kiss of Death] Dream DDT)! Santos hooked the legs of Adams and covered getting a two! Adams kicked out just in time and Santos started to deliver hard right hands. The referee forced a break and Adams pulled himself up. Santos charged and ran into a kick to the gut and the Break Stuff (Stunner)! Now Adams covered and Santos kicked out just before three!
Gemma Foster: Two near falls from both AJ and Tia! What else can they throw at each other?
Adams grabbed Santos and locked in Lights Out! Santos looked like she was slipping and Adams dropped to the mat with the hold locked in. The referee checked the arm of Santos but she grabbed his wrist and used the referee to turn herself just enough to kick off her feet and roll backwards. Adams let go and she rolled to her feet. Adams tried to stand but was rocked with a chick kick! He stumbled around and Santos ran the ropes and hit a move that looked like a Canadian Destroyer but was a DDT!
Scott Parker: What was that!?
Santos stood and threw her arms out and pointed at Adams. Adams got to his knees and Santos pulled him in before hitting Beso de Muerte! Santos covered Adams and the referee dove into position and counted the three!
WINNER AND STILL EW WORLD CHAMPION: Tia Santos via pinfall @ 21:09
Santos was announced the winner as the Warehouse booed. She was handed the championship as she climbed up a corner and showed off the title.
Scott Parker: Tia Santos is still the EW World Champion after one hell of a match here tonight.
Santos walked over Adams and rolled out of the ring and made her way up the ramp as we faded away.

The Scrappy Songbird, Melody Slayton, was the first one to the ring with a big pop from the crowd as they were excited for action inside the Warehouse once again. Slayton was clearly excited and fired up as she made her way to the ring. Taylor came out next and had a fierce look on her face as she made her way down to the ring. Foster and Parker spoke on Kayla wanting to make it the “Year of Pureheart” and have her biggest year of her career.
