Episode #92 - March 18, 2023
The show kicked off with a bang as “Come and Get It” by I Prevail started to play and the crowd popped for a moment before the boos started to overwhelm them.
Scott Parker: Looks like things are kicking off with Lacy Nelson! Maybe we’ll hear why she attacked FM Young at the last Hype!
Lacy Nelson stepped out and looked around before making her way down to the ring. She carried a microphone and rolled inside as she waved for her music to stop.
Lacy Nelson: Since the last Hype I keep being asked “why Lacy?” “Lacy, how could you?” I could come out here and say something like “because I make the headlines”. You want to know why I attacked FM?
Lacy whipped her head to look into the nearest camera and walked towards it.
Lacy Nelson: It’s because I hate FM.
The crowd began to boo and Lacy started to speak over them.
Lacy Nelson: You all cheer for her but you don’t even know the real FM. The real FM uses people around her until she’s got her fill and tosses them away. Once upon a time, I was blinded by what I thought was her love for me but in reality I was just convenient for FM. We mostly kept it quiet on air but outside of the Warehouse, FM and I loved each other. May 4th, 2021 FM asked me to marry her. We were planning on getting married and you want to know what happened? You want the dirty laundry?
Lacy takes a deep breath before looking back into the camera with hatred in her eyes.
Lacy Nelson: You up and left, FM. No note, no call, nothing. Before Christmas that year you were just gone from my life and wouldn’t return any of my texts or calls. You quickly moved on to someone else, married, and had children with them. So when I see you saunter back into Empire Wrestling and are just handed an opportunity to get into the title picture, it made me snap. I hate you so much for leaving me here to pick up all the broken pieces. As long as I live and breathe you will not touch the EW World Championship.
She moves around the ring and shakes it off.
Lacy Nelson: Tonight, I beat Casey Grey and advance in the #1 contender tournament and become one step closer to becoming a 3 time EW World Champion. Tonight’s headline is going to be Casey Grey laying here in the middle of the ring-
She’s cut off as the crowd pops and FM Young rushes down to the ring and Nelson quickly ducks out and jumps into the crowd. Young points at her as Nelson backs up through the crowd and leaves.
Gemma Foster: The history of these two date all the way back to December 2018 when Nelson debuted in EW. It’s on another level now, Scott.

DeLuca got in the referee’s face and turned back to Cross. Cross landed strikes and rocked DeLuca with a big palm strike to the chest. DeLuca charged right into the Mary Go Round (Discus Big Boot)! Cross had control of the match and looked for a neckbreaker but DeLuca countered and pushed away before landing a hard forearm to the back of the head of Cross. DeLuca hit a blue thunder bomb for a two count pinfall attempt. He went to the top and wanted his double foot stomp but Cross rolled out of the way and he rolled through to his feet.
