Next Level: Revolution - June 25, 2023
Scott Parker: Ladies and gentlemen, it’s Next Level: Revolution! Top to bottom tonight we’re in for one amazing show. Every singles championship is on the line tonight and we’ll be crowning a BRAND NEW Primetime Champion. It’ll be hung above the ring and the first to pull it down will become Primetime Champion.
Gemma Foster: I can’t wait for that match as it’s packed with some of the best competitors in Empire Wrestling both present and future!
Scott Parker: We’ll see some hard hitting action tonight for sure and it’ll all end with our main event. Marilyn Lee Cross and Melody Slayton will go one on one for what is going to be the interim World Championship. Tom Carr has changed that match after a long thought process and has decided that tonight’s bout will be the first pinfall or submission to the finish. The Ironman stipulation has been changed.
Gemma Foster: Daniel Daemon is out for an undisclosed reason but due to a clause in his contract he’ll be able to hold onto the championship for a time. If he returns within that time, he’ll end up fighting whoever the interim champion is.
Scott Parker: Cross and Slayton are both hungry for the gold and to be able to call themselves the EW World Champion.
The crowd popped as “Lights Out” by POD hit and AJ Adams made good on his promise to start things off. He made his way down to the ring and rolled under the ropes before climbing to his feet. He was handed a microphone as he cut his music.
AJ Adams: Let’s do this. Anyone in the building that doesn’t have a match and wants to get added to the legacy of AJ Adams, get down here.
The crowd gave a cheer as one of Empire Wrestling’s newest signings, Missy Propaganda walked out to the stage with a large sign that says “CHALLENGE ACCEPTED” and made her way down.
AJ Adams Vs. Missy Propaganda
The bell rang and Adams looked across the ring at the young rookie. She readied herself and started to circle him as Adams nodded and pulled her in with a side headlock. Propaganda spun away and then flipped Adams down with a judo toss! Adams popped up, shocked. He charged into another toss and got to his feet. Propaganda charged and Adams dropped her with a shoulder tackle. She rolled to her feet as Adams ran the ropes and then jumped over him. He came back and ducked a clothesline. Propaganda ran the ropes and hit a crossbody as Adams ran back at her. Propaganda covered and Adams kicked out at one and shook it off as he stood. Adams pulled her in and delivered a suplex. Adams rolled up and lifted her for a second and hits it. Adams looks for a trifecta of suplexes but Propaganda countered as she turned and dropped down with a cutter!
Scott Parker: What a counter!
Propaganda was fired up and quickly dove onto Adams and only got two this time as Adams kicked out. Adams got to his feet and ducked a clothesline and pulled her in before driving her to the mat with LA to NY (Sitout inverted DDT). Adams pulled Propaganda up to her feet and sent her into the corner. He charged at her and jumped through the top and middle ropes with a big clothesline and landed on the apron. He went to the top rope as she fell to the mat and he dove, hitting a leg drop from the top! Adams hooked a leg and got two before she kicked out. Adams didn’t hesitate and pulled her up to her feet. Adams started to set up for Legacy Maker (Sister Abigail) but Propaganda countered into a small package and got a shocking three count!
WINNER: Missy Propaganda via pinfall @ 9:01
Adams popped up to his feet as Propaganda dove out of the ring and jumped up and down in celebration.
Gemma Foster: I don’t believe it!
Scott Parker: That might be the upset of the year, folks!
Adams looked around and was shocked as Propaganda threw her hands in the air as she ran up the ramp.
EXTREME CHAMPIONSHIP
Kamila Rose Vs. Manic (c)
There were six trash cans scattered around the ring as we’ve grown accustomed to in these Extreme Division matches.
Scott Parker: It’s time for our first championship match of the night!
Kamila Rose made her way to the ring first as she checked the trash cans and looked around. She grabbed a chair and slid it into the ring, along with a kendo stick. She climbed into the ring and awaited the champion. The lights went down and came up blue as Manic crawled through a puff of smoke on the stage. She made it all the way down the ramp and sat up as we could see the EW Extreme Championship around her waist. She pulled herself into the ring as the lights came up and the match was announced and set to begin. Manic and Rose stood across the ring from each other before Manic tilted her head with a smile.
Gemma Foster: Manic has been playing head games with Rose but she looks like she’s ready for this match tonight!
The two lock up and Rose hits a chop to the chest that causes Manic to smile. Rose followed it up with an uppercut to which Manic started to laugh at. Rose whipped Manic into the corner and hit a big splash as she charged. Rose quickly delivered an overhead belly to belly on Manic and tossed her across the ring. Manic stumbled up and went into the opposite corner and Rose charged and looked for a monkey flip out of the corner and Manic was sent sky high before crashing down. Manic climbed to her feet and Rose dropped her with a roundhouse kick. Rose went into a cover and only got one as Manic kicked out right before two. Manic powered to her feet and landed a hard kick to the gut. Rose doubled over and Manic hit a rising knee strike that stunned Rose. Manic delivered an exploder suplex and popped to her feet. Rose stood and was slammed down to the mat with a slingblade. Manic rose to her feet quickly and Rose stumbled up before Manic lifted her and dropped her for the Insane in the Membrane (Kneecap Brainbuster)! Manic went to the top ropes and readied herself before delivering Crashing Down (Double Stomp). She dove into a cover and got two before Rose kicked out.
Gemma Foster: Manic with a flurry of moves there almost able to put Kamila Rose away.
Manic crawled across the ring and pulled down her knee pad. She measured up Rose and looked for the Splitting Headache (Bicycle Knee Strike) but Rose was able to dodge it and cracked her across the back with a chair. Rose drove the chair into the gut of Manic before delivering a suplex. Rose pulled Manic up and then planted her back first onto the chair with a powerbomb. Manic started to get to her feet as Rose had left the ring and tossed in an empty trash can and the lid. She climbed back inside and as Manic stood, Rose clobbered her with the trash can lid to the head. She laid the trash can down and pulled Manic in before hitting the Rose Cutter (Arm Trap Headlock Driver) onto the trash can!
Scott Parker: That might be it, folks!
Rose rolled Manic over and covered, shocked when Manic somehow kicked out at two. Rose grabbed the kendo stick and cracked it across the back of Manic who just laughed. Manic snatched the kendo stick away from her and started to wack it across Rose’s back. Manic dropped the kendo stick and popped Rose with a spinning backfist. Rose stumbled around before Manic delivered the Splitting Headache! Manic covered and Rose picked out right before three!
Gemma Foster: Kamila Rose kicked out! She’s not giving up just yet!
Manic started to pull Rose to her feet and lifted her into a Fireman’s Carry but Rose countered into a DDT! Manic frantically got to her feet and looked for another wild Splitting Headache but Rose side stepped it. Manic turned and ran right into the Twisting Vines (Sunset Flip Powerbomb) and Rose covered for three!
WINNER AND NEW EW EXTREME CHAMPION: Kamila Rose via pinfall @ 17:34
Rose had her hand raised in victory as she celebrated in the ring. She held the title out in front of her so she could look at it and smiled as we cut away.
Devotion
Jenna Jillian Walker is standing next to Kevin Olsen in the interview area backstage in the Warehouse.
Kevin Olsen: I am here with tonight’s challenger for the Empire Wrestling Spartan Championship, Jenna Jillain Walker. How are you feeling going into your match tonight against the current Spartan Champion, Martin West?
Jenna Jillian Walker: I am ready and focused to step into the ring with Martin tonight, Kevin. When I arrived in Empire Wrestling I believed with every fiber of my being that the Spartan Championship is meant for me. Don’t get me wrong I want one day to become Empire Wrestling World Champion but this Spartan Championship is destined to be mine.
Kevin Olsen: Martin West isn’t someone to take lightly…
Jenna Jillain Walker: Believe me, nobody is taking the so-called good reverend lightly. Least of all me but yes Martin is a hell of a talent inside the wrestling ring. But I have to wonder, Martin, do you really have the gumption to be the Spartan Champion or do you just like having championship gold around your waist? From my perspective you just like parading around some gold and I can’t blame you or anyone else who does that.
Kevin Olsen: And that won’t be you, Jenna?
Jenna Jillian Walker: Who wouldn’t love being a champion? We all like to brag about being a winner but the difference between myself and someone like Martin is I have devoted my life to this great sport. Both on the amateur mat and now inside the square circle. That is why I am sure in my heart of hearts that I will exemplify what it means to be the Spartan Champion. So the so-called good reverend can say and do whatever he likes but at the end of the day I’ll be leaving here tonight as the new champion.
Fatal Four Way Match
Kayla Taylor Vs. Daisy Duke Vs. Samantha Hamilton Vs. Chelsea LeClair
Samantha Hamilton came to the ring first to a solid reaction from the crowd. She stood on a middle turnbuckle and threw her hair back and posed for the crowd in attendance.
Gemma Foster: Hamilton came back to Empire Wrestling on the last episode of Hype and looked impressive, Scott. She almost won the Semi-Final Battle Royal.
Kayla Taylor was out next and circled the ring as she watched Hamilton. She waited on the outside as there was another pop for Chelsea LeClair. LeClair started to make her way to the stage but was attacked from behind by Daisy Duke before the match started.
Scott Parker: Duke does NOT like LeClair!
Hamilton had her attention drawn and Taylor was in the ring and she started to attack Hamilton as the match got started. Taylor started to land clubbing blows to the back of Hamilton before Hamilton turned and hit a hard chop to the chest of Taylor. Hamilton quickly followed it up with a short arm clothesline as she pulled Taylor in. Duke and LeClair had fought their way down the ramp and were now in the ring. LeClair grabbed Duke and was able to connect with a tornado DDT that caused Duke to roll out of the ring. LeClair got to her feet and had to duck a incoming clothesline from Hamilton. Hamilton turned back around and was hit with the Jersey Drop (Diamond Cutter)! Hamilton rolled out of the ring and LeClair readied herself. She ran the ropes and delivered a big tope con hilo! LeClair popped up and was fired up as she took our Duke and Hamilton. Taylor snuck up behind LeClair and pushed her into the ring post on the outside. Taylor grabbed Duke and rolled her into the ring and climbed in, diving for a cover but was quickly pulled off by Hamilton. Hamilton pulled Taylor up to her feet and a series of kicks and strikes. She drove her knee into Taylor’s gut before delivering a facebuster. Hamilton was up and Duke quickly delivered a spiking DDT! She covered Hamilton for just one before she kicked out.
Scott Parker: The action is everywhere, Gemma. I can’t keep up!
Duke was on her knees and LeClair spiked her off the mat with the Ocean City Crusher (Hurricanrana Driver)! LeClair covered Duke and got a two count before Taylor pulled her off. Taylor dumped LeClair over the top rope and stalked around Duke. She grabbed Duke from behind as she stood and looked for the Broadway Lights (Cross Rhodes) but Duke countered and spun away. Duke grabbed Taylor and raked her eyes as the fans booed. She started to set up for the Duke of Hazzard (Cradle DDT) but Hamilton grabbed her from behind and locked in Exiled to Tartarus (Sleeper Hold).
Scott Parker: That might be it!
Duke started to pass out when LeClair came flying off the top rope and broke it up with a big splash onto Duke! LeClair and Hamilton were the first to their feet and started to exchange blows back and forth. LeClair looked for her Ocean Crash (Springboard Crossbody) but Hamilton caught her in mid-air and hit a big powerslam! LeClair got to her feet slowly and Hamilton hit the Reversal of Fate (Vertebreaker). She went into a cover and got two before LeClair kicked out. Hamilton was up and moved around LeClair before Taylor grabbed her from behind and hit the Redemption (Final Cut)! Taylor turned and Duke hit her with a chop block to the back of the knee. LeClair charged at Duke and they tumbled out of the ring and to the floor. The two rolled around the floor and got to their feet before the fight went over the barricade to the timekeepers area. Inside the ring, Hamilton spun Taylor around as she started to stand and delivered her Wrath of the Titans (Pedigree) and covered for the victory, LeClair and Duke not able to get into the ring fast enough to break the count!
WINNER: Samantha Hamilton via pinfall @ 16:09
Hamilton celebrated in the ring by having her hand raised as LeClair stood on the outside and just watched on, nodding. She gave Hamilton a slam clap before heading up the ramp as Taylor and Duke were on the outside of the ring.
Gemma Foster: A nice win here tonight for Samantha Hamilton!
Untethered Climb
Our cameras are backstage and we get to see Lacy Nelson standing in front of the Next Level: Revolution logo. She rolls her neck and looks over at Kevin Olsen who is ready to speak.
Kevin Olsen: Ladies and gentlemen, Lacy Nelson. Lacy, tonight you have the opportunity to become the brand new Primetime Champion. What are your thoughts going into the match tonight?
Lacy Nelson: Winning. Same as everyone else in this match, Kev. I see the talent in this match and I know that everyone brings something to it. Mason Harper is a fine young talent. She could grow to be one of the top stars in this company with the right tools. Hanako is a dear friend of mine. I’m her biggest fan and I know she’s going to go out there and pull off something amazing. Harper Blake? Kick ass. Just never has been able to fully put it together.
Lacy pauses and scoffs as she thinks.
Lacy Nelson: FM Young? We all know the history at this point. Tia Santos? Arguably one of the greatest competitors in this company’s history. Tonight though, I’m going to be the one to make that climb and snatch the Primetime Championship. It’s ME that’s walking out of the Warehouse tonight as the brand new Primetime Champion. Tonight, I am going to go out there and write another headline in Empire Wrestling.
EW SPARTAN CHAMPIONSHIP
Jenna Jillian Walker Vs. Martin West (c)
Scott Parker: I can’t wait for this one! The Spartan Championship is on the line, folks!
Jenna Jillian Walker made her way to the ring first to a decent reaction from the fans. She flexed at the top of the ramp before making her way to the ring. She paced around the ring as she awaited her opponent. The fans booed as Spartan Champion, Martin West, started to make his way to the ring.
Gemma Foster: The good Reverend has been Spartan Champion since defeating Melody Slayton all the way back at the Next Level: Victorem event July 30th, 2022.
West revealed the Spartan Championship as he opened a trench coat and dropped it on the ramp. He slowly climbed into the ring and handed the title off as the match was announced.
The bell rang and these two met in the middle of the ring. Walker wanted to lock up and West had no part in it as he landed a hard strike.
Scott Parker: Very smart by Martin. You do not want to get into a grappling match with Walker.
West pulled her in and drove a knee into her gut before sending her to the ropes. He delivered a shoulder block that didn’t drop her. She ran the ropes and hit a shoulder block that West ate. She ran the ropes and this time, West delivered a kitchen sink knee to her gut that folded her over. Walker started to get up but West took her right back down with a running bulldog. Both competitors climbed to their feet and West swung with the clothesline but Walker ducked it and delivered a German suplex. Both competitors stood again and Walker took West down with a swinging neckbreaker. Walker grabbed West by the arm and pulled him up and lifted right up into a belly to back suplex. West got to his feet and looked for a kick to the gut but Walker caught it and hit a dragon screw and went right into a heel lock!
Gemma Foster: Walker has West!
West was able to quickly make it to the ropes and forced a break, using his first of the match. Walker started to pull West up to his feet but he was able to push away. She caught him with a hard uppercut, forcing West to fall backwards and he came right back with Absolution (Rebound/Pendulum Lariat)! West rolled Walker up for a pinfall and she was able to kick out at two. West didn’t hesitate as he pulled Walker up and started to drive his knee into her gut over and over and over before delivering a snap suplex. West started to climb to the top rope and stood tall. He dove and connected with Exorcism (Diving Headbutt).
Scott Parker: Martin West driving his head right into the shoulder of Walker!
West pulled Walker up and started to set up for the Baptism (Cradle Piledriver) but Walker was able to struggle out. West charged at Walker and ran right into her All the Way Up (Pop Up Powerbomb)! Walker fell onto West for a pinfall and West kicked out right before three!
Gemma Foster: Walker was moments away from becoming Spartan Champion!
Walker quickly transitioned into a Texas Cloverleaf! She sat back and applied pressure as West struggled. West inched his way to the rope and was able to use his second of three rope breaks. Walker pulled West to the center of the ring and looked for a figure four but he was able to kick her off as she turned and pushed her across the ring. He was able to get to his feet and connected with the Baptism! West crawled over to Walker and went into a cover and Walker was able to kick out just before the three.
Scott Parker: 2.99!
West cracked his knuckles as he stood and clinched his fist. He was ready for the big Come-To-Jesus-Moment (Haymaker). Walker was up and she was able to duck under the punch. Walker delivered her BluePrint (Cradle Piledriver)! She quickly pulled West up and hit Under the Bridge (Bridged Dragon Suplex) and picked up a three count!

LADDER MATCH
Harper Mason Vs. Hanako Vs. Harper Blake Vs. FM Young Vs. Lacy Nelson Vs. Tia Santos
The crowd was buzzing as the next match was announced. There was a big cheer for Harper Mason as she came to the ring first and looked at the ladders set up around the ring. She climbed one of them and sat on the top and posed before climbing down and climbing onto the apron and into the ring.
Gemma Foster: When I sat down with Harper Mason, I could see how excited she was for this match. It’s a huge moment for such a young talent but she’s shown she has a lot of skill.
Hanako was out next as she took a moment to look at the ladders on her way down to the ring as well. She jumped inside the ring and climbed to the middle ropes and posed.
Gemma Foster: Hanako is a talent here in Empire Wrestling that also has so much talent and she just needs to have that breakout moment.
Harper Blake stormed her way to the ring and grabbed one of the ladders on each side and looked up.
Gemma Foster: Harper Blake has been chasing this prize for a long time and told me backstage before the show that tonight is the night she proves she belongs.
There’s a pop as FM Young hits the stage next and poses for the Warehouse on top of the ramp.
Gemma Foster: FM Young. What do we need to say? The former World Champion is looking to add to her resume here in Empire Wrestling. She’s looked impressive as of late and has plenty of experience in ladder matches to be able to win here tonight.
Young gets into the ring and looks up at the top of the ramp as she knows who is next. There’s a mixed reaction of mostly boos when Lacy Nelson comes out next.
Gemma Foster: Lacy Nelson is on a mission to write a new headline here tonight and win gold for the Untethered Empire. She wants that prize badly, Scott.
Young looked at the competitors at the ramp and made her way down. She stood on the outside of the ring and waited to get in. Tia Santos walked out onto the stage through a puff of smoke as she looked around the Warehouse.
Gemma Foster: Tia Santos is competing in her first match since losing the EW World Championship and is looking to become a Triple Crown winner.
All six competitors were finally in the ring as they looked up at the Primetime Championship hanging above them. The action started with a flurry as everyone started to exchange blows as the crowd roared in cheers. Santos and Blake were in one corner of the ring fighting while Hanako and Mason fought, and Young and Nelson exchanged blows. Young hit Nelson with a belly to belly suplex and kicked her out of the ring and shook off the blows that Nelson had landed. Santos turned away from Blake and ducked a clothesline from Young. Santos connected with a swinging neckbreaker and Young rolled out of the ring. Hanako took Blake down with a shotgun dropkick and launched her out of the ring. Hanako was up and Mason took her down with a tornado DDT! Mason turned to Santos as the fans cheered. Mason looked for a jumping knee but Santos was able to dodge it and clocked Mason with a chick kick and Santos was left standing in the ring by herself.
Scott Parker: Tia Santos has something up her sleeve here.
The other five competitors were bunched together on the outside. Santos charged at the corner and hit Muerta Caída ([Dead Drop] Top Rope Dive) and took out everyone! Santos grabbed a ladder from the outside and slid it into the ring. She started to set it up and Hanako pulled herself into the ring. Santos had started to climb to the top rope and Hanako followed on the same side. She clubbed Santos on the back and looked down. She grabbed Santos by the hair and delivered a reverse DDT off the ladder from about four steps up!
Gemma Foster: Hanako with a big spot there to take out Santos!
Blake was back in the ring and started to readjust the ladder before getting rocked with a superkick from Nelson! Blake dropped and was rolled out of the ring. Hanako delivered her Fūkiri (Reverse Ddt into facebuster) on Blake! She turned to the ladder but was clotheslined over the top rope from Santos. Santos turned and ate a superkick from Young. Each corner had someone seated in it as Nelson looked around.
Scott Parker: Now Lacy has something planned!
Nelson looked at Mason and charged, hitting Thunderstruck (Corner Hip Attack)! She ran to the opposite corner and hit Santos with Thunderstruck! She charged and delivered one to Blake! She started to charge at Young but Young had it scouted and popped up, hitting Nelson with Man-Machine Interface (Discus Clothesline)!
Gemma Foster: FM just turned Nelson inside out with that clothesline!
Young was left standing alone in the ring and started to climb the ladder for the title. She was a step or so away as the fans cheered. Hanako hit a springboard and jumped into the ring and landed on the opposite side of the ladder. She started to brawl with Young as they both tried to hang on to the ladder. Blake started to climb up behind Hanako and Santos started to climb behind Young. Blake lifted Hanako off the ladder and dropped to the mat with a Falcon Arrow! Santos delivered a poisionrana off the ladder to Young!
Scott Parker: Everyone is down! Who is going to be able to make the first move?
Harper Mason was that first person but had to dump the ladder out of the ring and slid out, grabbing a new one. She climbed into the ring and set up the new ladder and started the climb. Blake quickly scurried up the ladder and Mason slammed Blake’s head off the top of the ladder. Mason looked down and pulled Blake over to her side of the ladder into a torture rack. Mason made the crowd gasp as she hit the Encore Set (Torture Rack into Flatfliner) off the ladder!
Gemma Foster: Oh my God, Scott!
Mason started to stir and get to her feet as quickly as she could. Nelson started to quickly climb to the top and grabbed the title and tried to unhook it. Harper Mason started to climb but Nelson kicked her off and she landed on Young! Nelson yanked and pulled down the title as the bell sounded.
WINNER AND NEW EW PRIMETIME CHAMPION: Lacy Nelson @ 25:44
Scott Parker: Lacy Nelson is the new Primetime Champion!
Nelson sat at the top of the ladder as she held the title against her chest. There was a standing ovation for the competitors in the match as Nelson looked around.
Gemma Foster: What an incredible ladder match, Scott.
Nelson climbed down and checked on Mason before rolling out of the ring and helping Hanako to her feet and putting her against the barricade and slowly made her way to the back, holding the title above her head at the top of the ramp.
INTERIM EW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Melody Slayton Vs. Marilyn Lee Cross
Scott Parker: It’s main event time!
Marilyn Lee Cross was out first as the fans cheered her on. She stood at the top of the stage before getting a pop of pyro and flexing one arm. She made her way down and climbed into the ring before posing on the middle ropes and leaning over them, telling everyone to say her name.
Gemma Foster: I know that Cross has beaten Slayton before but you know Melody is coming in more focused than ever.
The crowd popped for Melody Slayton as she came jogging out onto the stage. She dropped to her knees and rolled forward, jumping up into the air as a pyro went off behind her. She was fired up and got the crowd behind her as she made her way down the ramp. She climbed into the ring and looked around at the fans.
Scott Parker: Melody Slayton has determination in her eyes, Gemma!
The match was announced as referee Molly Reynolds drew the assignment for the main event. She showed off the interim EW World Championship and the bell rang to kick us off. The two stood in opposite corners as the fans just cheered. The two met in the center of the ring and shared a few words before shaking hands and then quickly locking up. Cross hit an uppercut to start things and Slayton came right back with a hard chop to the chest. Slayton then hit an uppercut that jarred Cross and Cross came right back with a hard right hand. Cross followed it up with a palm strike and then a hip toss. Slayton flipped and landed on her feet as she popped up with a smile. She wiped her mouth and nodded and locked back up with Cross. The two battled for position and moved around the ropes as the referee forced a break. Cross hit a hard headbutt that stunned them both and caused some distance. Slayton charged and looked to clothesline Cross over the top and they both went tumbling to the outside near the announce table.
Scott Parker: Watch out!
Cross tossed Slayton onto the announce table and then bounced her face off it. Cross grabbed Slayton and tried to drag her to the ring but Slayton used the apron and hit sliced bread #2! Slayton rolled in and back out of the ring to reset the count. Slayton pulled Cross up and looked to hit a Sonic Rainboom (Poisonrana) on the outside but Cross countered into a powerbomb as the fans “ooh’ed”! Cross and the fans couldn’t believe it as they roared in cheers.
Scott Parker: Melody Slayton just kicked out!
Gemma Foster: The kid has so much heart and doesn’t know how to quit!
Cross took a moment and started to pull Slayton up to her feet. Cross started to look for another John Wilkes Boot but Slayton countered with This Magic Moment! Gemma Foster: Marilyn Lee Cross just able to break the count with her foot on the ropes.
Slayton started to pull herself up and grabbed Cross and pulled her up. Slayton started to set up for another Glitter Bomb. Cross ran over and jumped to the second rope. Cross hit a avalanche belly to belly slam and bounced Slayton off the mat. Both competitors started to stand and Slayton hit a superkick! She readied and looked for another but this one missed the mark as Cross ducked it and clinched in the Hungry Jaws (Dragon Sleeper w/ body scissors)! Cross dropped to the mat in the middle of the ring. Slayton flailed and eventually started to pass out and the referee called for the bell!
WINNER AND NEW INTERIM EW WORLD CHAMPION: Marilyn Lee Cross via stoppage @ 32:49

He was able to get to his feet and connected with the Baptism! West crawled over to Walker and went into a cover and Walker was able to kick out just before the three.
