Next Level: Ascension - September 17, 2023
Gemma Foster: Welcome to Next Level: Ascension! I’m Gemma Foster and joining me in the booth for the first time in his career, Kevin Olsen!
Kevin Olsen: Thanks, Gemma. It’s a big change to be backstage heading up interviews but I’m excited to be calling action with you tonight the best I can.
Gemma Foster: Tonight is going to see the return of the King of the Mountain match and this time, it’s for the Extreme Championship! If you’re new to the King of the Mountain match, there will be five competitors and we’ll see the Extreme Championship hanging above the ring. To be able to climb up and capture the championship, you must first secure a pinfall or submission to be eligible to do so.
Kevin Olsen: It really takes a special competitor to be able to win one of these matches and the five competitors tonight are each going to bring something special.
Gemma Foster: Our Spartan Championship is on the line tonight in what should be a HARD hitting match. Jenna Jillian Walker is going to face her toughest test as she steps into the ring to defend against Samantha Hamilton. Both of those competitors are exactly what it means to be Spartan Champion.
Kevin Olsen: I’m interested in who is going to answer the open challenge Melody Slayton has put out for the Primetime Championship. If I had a scoop, you’d know it, but I honestly have no clue! I can confirm that it is NOT Lacy Nelson, Gemma.
Gemma Foster: I think some people thought it might be. All that said, it all comes to a head in our main event tonight. The EW World Championship is set to be unified as the World Champion, Daniel Daemon, takes on the interim champion, Marilyn Lee Cross. Daemon has shown he is still as ruthless as ever with a sickening act as he sent Johnny Maverick, his own son, to the hospital.
TABLES MATCH
Gio DeLuca Vs. AJ Jenkynz
It was time for the opening match as the fans were “treated” to Gio DeLuca making his way out with a microphone in hand to cut his traditional walk to the ring promo. He walks past tables set up around the ring as he talks.
Gio DeLuca: You know what I hate?
The fans boo as he starts to talk.
Gio DeLuca: This whole song and dance with AJ. Guy comes back to Empire Wrestling and thinks he’s any better than before. You know what I think? He’s scared shitless every time he steps into the ring. I’d ask him what he thinks about the upcoming match but I think he’s mute. The guy doesn’t care about any of you.
DeLuca gets into the ring and stands in the middle as he looks at the ramp. Jenkynz music hits but nothing happens. DeLuca smiles and looks around the Warehouse and points to the ramp yelling “SEE!?” The music stops for a moment and starts back up as there’s still no sign of Jenkynz.
Gio DeLuca: See!? He doesn’t care about any of you. He can’t even make his way here to compete-
Gio is cut off as the cameras catch up backstage to see DeLuca’s partner Dominic Salvatore fighting with AJ Jenkynz backstage to try and keep him from competing. Salvatore hit Jenkynz with a chokeslam onto a crate that gives a sickening thud. Jenkynz is checked on but refused to be looked at. Salvatore came back over and took a kick to the gut. AJ started to fight back and Gio panicked in the ring. He got out and pulled a chair out from under the ring.
Gemma Foster: Gio DeLuca trying to use the returning Dominic Salvatore as muscle to take out AJ Jenkynz!
Jenkynz eventually came through the curtain and made his way to the ring. He climbed inside and the bell rang. DeLuca swung the chair and missed as Jenkynz ducked it. DeLuca turned right into Jenkynz hitting him with a jumping complete shot. Jenkynz grabbed his ribs as he stood and DeLuca climbed to his feet. Jenkynz tossed DeLuca over the top and he landed on the apron. DeLuca pulled Jenkynz to the apron and the two fought back and forth. DeLuca pulled out brass knuckles but Jenkynz kicked him in the gut. Jenkynz hit DeLuca with an elbow to the face and spun him around. He had everyone gasp as he hit DeLuca with a German suplex off the apron and through a table!
WINNER: AJ Jenkynz @ 6:29
Gemma Foster: AJ just sent Gio flying! He just picked up a big win here tonight!
Jenna Jillian Walker is standing in front of her locker room in her wrestling gear and the Empire Wrestling Spartan Championship.
Bring It All
Jenna Jillian Walker: I get it. As much respect as there is between two competitors the lead up always seems to come back knocking their opponents to stake your claim as to why you are better than your opposition. But we all know what it comes down to Samantha, that is what happens inside the squared circle. There is no if, ands, or buts about it. That is why I am standing here before the entire world with this…
Jenna pats the Spartan Championship three times.
Jenna Jillian Walker: I am glad you feel confident, Samantha, because you have every right to do so. You picked up a huge victory just to get this chance for this championship. You have done so much in this business that nobody in their right mind can do nothing else but respect you and your accomplishments. While me on the other hand only started in this business as a pro late last year. But in this almost full year since my debut I have accomplished a lot more than me or anybody else ever even thought I would accomplish. Here I am as the Empire Wrestling Spartan Champion. I spoke this title reign into existence because I truly believe that I epitomize what it means to be the Spartan Champion.
Jenna smirks.
Jenna Jillian Walker: We handle our business very similarly Samantha and the world will see that in just a little bit. So you can study the rules of a Spartan Championship match. I am actually glad you do that so if and when my hand is raised tonight I don’t want there to be any doubt in anybody's mind because I am looking to raise the stock of this championship. I want people to think of me when they think of the Spartan Championship. So as much as you bring tonight Samantha I will bring just that much more so I can walk back out with my title.
Jenna walks away.
SPARTAN CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDER MATCH
Travis Levitt Vs. Missy Propaganda Vs. Veronica Taylor Vs. Harper Blake
Kevin Olsen: A big opportunity here tonight for these four competitors, Gemma.
The four competitors all made their way to the ring. The fans were definitely behind Propaganda and Blake. Each competitor stood in a corner as the bell rang. Taylor called Blake over in an effort to reach up but quickly grabbed her by the hair and pulled her to the mat as the fans booed. Levitt and Propaganda came to blows. Missy tried to toss Levitt down with a judo toss but he clubbed her in the back of the head with a clothesline. Missy was dropped to a knee and Levitt delivered a German suplex. Taylor ran over and tried to roll him up from behind with a school boy pin. Levitt pops up just after one and turns as Taylor rolls out of the ring. She smiles and poses for everyone in the Warehouse. Blake ran around the outside of the ring and took Taylor down as she turned her way with a spear! Inside the ring, Levitt had Missy up to her feet and between his legs. He started to set up for a powerbomb but she countered into a code red! She covered and Levitt kicked out at two.
Gemma Foster: The action so far has been fast and furious.
Levitt got to his feet and Missy took him down with a headscissors and he rolled out of the ring. Missy turned and Blake was there with a missile dropkick off the top rope. Blake got to her feet and pulled Missy up. Blake lifted Missy up for her falcon arrow but Missy countered into a small package. Blake kicked out at two and both women popped up. Taylor was back in the ring and spun Blake around before hitting the D-List Remover (Implant DDT). Taylor tried to cover Blake but was pulled off by Missy. Taylor poked Missy in the eyes and tried to lock in a sleeper hold. Levitt was back in the ring and hit Taylor with a running forearm to the face. Levitt grabbed Missy and delivered his RENEE'S RISE (Double Underhook Brainbuster)!
Kevin Olsen: Renee’s Rise! That might be it but here comes Harper Blake!
Blake grabbed Levitt and hit a sidewalk slam. He started to get to his feet and was able to dodge her Future Sight (V-Trigger) and hit a snap German suplex. Taylor had Missy set and delivered her Ultra Fabulous (Backstabber)! Levit locked Blake in the Fawkes Fate (Arm-Trap Crossface)! Taylor hit Missy with the Beauty Improvement Pass (Curb Stomp)! Taylor covered Missy and the referee called for the bell as Blake tapped out!
WINNER: Travis Levitt via submission @ 17:33
Levitt rolled out of the ring with a smile on his face as Veronica Taylor yelled at the referee.
Gemma Foster: Taylor had this match had Blake not tapped out of that crossface!
PRIMETIME CHAMPIONSHIP
Unknown Vs. Melody Slayton (c)
The fans buzzed as Melody Slayton came out to the ring first and they offered cheers. She waved to everyone and smiled as she stood on the ramp.
Gemma Foster: Who is it going to be, Kev?
Kevin Olsen: …No way… I just got a text…
Slayton made her way all the way down to the ring and climbed inside. She leaned over the ropes, hard cam side, and showed off her title. She jumped back and held the title up and smiled. Her music finally cut out as she waited. The Warehouse erupted as they were shocked as “In Fate’s Hand” by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus started to play and out walked the BWF legend, Gabe Shelley.
Gemma Foster: The BWF Sovereign Champion! Former multiple time World Champion and BWF Hall of Famer, Gabe Shelley! He’s answering the open challenge!
Gabe Shelley jogged from one side of the stage to the other as he pointed out to the crowd. He went to the ramp and popped his hood up on his vest and we could see the big smile on his face. He made his way into the ring and stood across from Slayton who smiled. Shelley and Slayton shook hands in the middle of the ring before the match started. The match begins, and Melody Slayton wastes no time, darting across the ring with lightning-quick strikes. She attempts to hit Gabe with a flurry of punches and kicks, but Gabe's veteran instincts kick in, and he catches her, locking her in a gut wrench powerbomb! He slams her to the mat with authority, taking the wind out of her sails. The Scrappy Songbird just looks mildly chagrined at “Uncle Gabe” for a moment. The look on Gabe’s face says that Melody should expect nothing less.
Gemma Foster: Gabe has literally watched Melody grow up in front of his eyes. He knows all her tricks!
Melody Slayton rolls to the corner, clutching her lower back in pain. Gabe Shelley wastes no time and follows her, driving his shoulder into her midsection repeatedly, keeping her grounded and unable to utilize her high-flying offense. Gabe is pulling out all the stops in the match, he wants the title! Melody gets her knees up, ramming them repeatedly into Gabe’s midsection when he goes for his next shoulder slam! Melody's frustration begins to show, not at all liking being on the backfoot this early in the match! With a burst of energy, she manages to scuttle herself up the ring post and turn to execute an overcastle neckbreaker, stunning the veteran and creating some separation. Melody takes Gabe down and rolls away, not bothering to try for a pin yet.
Kevin Olsen: Melody is going to need to pull off something big to put this one away.
Gabe is dazed, but he pulls himself up to his feet, and just as does Melody is right there! She comes off the ropes with a hair-trigger meteora! Gabe goes down again like a sack of potatoes and Melody roars to the crowd. The Songbird finally feeling fired up after taking the marVel off his feet several times! The crowd roars in approval as Melody scrambles for the cover, thinking to put this away early!

Gabe Shelley powers out just in the nick of time, displaying his never-say-die attitude. Melody can't believe it and slams her hand on the mat in frustration. Melody is just really pumped to hold her own with such an in ring legend isn’t taking the slow to her roll well. Mel keeps it up, putting Shelley on the back foot for abit as he just can’t keep her down! For every chop Gabe gives, Melody returns it with a sharp knee! As the match continues, Gabe Shelley begins to assert his dominance with power-based moves. He lands a thunderous, wheelbarrow driver to once again taking Melody off her feet. The near falls start to stack up, but Melody refuses to give in.
Gabe Shelley looks frustrated himself, glaring at the referee after a two-count. He then sets Melody up for his signature move, the Fallout (Double Underhook Front Lungblower into Pin). The impact is brutal, and the crowd gasps as Gabe goes for the cover.

Melody miraculously kicks out, showing incredible resilience. Gabe Shelley can't believe it and argues with the referee, venting his frustration. With a fire in her eyes, Melody Slayton fights back. She manages to create some distance, and as Gabe attempts The reVolt (Cradle Shock), she scrambles away, using the ropes for leverage.
Melody takes advantage of the situation and hits Gabe with a vicious Magic Missile (V-Trigger), staggering him. She then Irish whips him into the ropes, but as Gabe returns, Melody turns it into a Hurricanrana, sending Gabe flying into the corner!
Melody quickly shoots after him pressing her running luck, connecting with a big splash in the corner! Gabe is reeling, and Melody doesn't let up. WATCH OUR FRIENDS!
Harper Mason Vs. Kimiko Hirano
Kevin Olsen: This one is personal, Gemma.
Gemma Foster: Kimiko Hirano is making her in-ring debut here tonight and is looking to just make a name by taking out Harper.
Kimiko Hirano is the first to make her way to the stage as the fans boo her. She stood on the stage in a big robe and dropped it as she made her way down. She rolled into the ring and popped up to the second turnbuckle and looked out into the crowd. She turned her attention to the stage as the crowd cheered for the arrival of Harper Mason. She had her eyes locked on Hirano as she made her way down and climbed inside the ring. The two stood across the ring from each other as the referee said a few words and rang the bell. Harper charged and came to blows with Hirano. Hirano landed a flurry of left and right hands as she fought back. Hirano looked for a swinging neckbreaker but Mason kept spinning her and slipped free. Mason pulled Hirano across the ring with an armdrag. Hirano popped up to her feet and connected with a pump kick to the chest that dropped Mason to the mat. Hirano pulled Mason to her feet and looked for a bucklebomb but Mason countered into a hurricanrana and sat on her shoulder for a pinfall, getting two.
Gemma Foster: Good counter by Harper!
Mason and Hirano were up and Hirano hit a spinning backfist that rocked Mason. Mason came back with a hard chop to the chest. Hirano came back with a hard backfist to the jaw that staggered Mason. Hirano tried to set up for a snap dragon suplex but Mason was able to block with a hard elbow to the side of her head. Mason grabbed Hirano and hit the Into The Earth (Ripcord Rolling Elbow)! Mason was fired up and pulled Hirano up. She set her up and Mason delivered her Encore Set (Torture Rack into Flatfliner)! Mason rolled Hirano over and covered and got a two count before she kicked out.
Kevin Olsen: Kimiko! Kimiko just kicked out of the Encore Set!
Hirano started to stand and told Mason to bring it. Mason looked for a clothesline and Hirano ducked it. Hirano jumped up and hit a poisionrana! Hirano pulled Mason up and started to look for Kaito’s Dishonored (Burning Hammer GTS) but Mason countered into a rollup for two! Both competitors popped up and Mason caught her with the Crowd Killer (Ripcord Diamond Cutter)! Mason looked down at Hirano and wanted to put an exclamation point on things so she went to the apron. She jumped up and delivered the Sun//Eater (Springboard 450 Splash)! She covered and got the pinfall win!
WINNER: Harper Mason via pinfall @ 16:32
Mason stood over Kimiko Hirano as she had her hand raised and the fans cheered. Kaito and Jason Evans pulled Kimiko out of the ring and helped her to the back before we cut away.
GO TIME!
The arena erupts with anticipation as FM Young stands in the center of the ring, a microphone in hand. Helix by Amaranthe fading out on the speakers. The big woman holds her ribs as she leans on the ring ropes. There’s intensity in her eyes as she waits for the crowd and music to quiet down before speaking, here on the Next Level Ascension stage.
FM Young: Empire Wrestling fans, listen up! You're in for a treat, a show like you've never seen before. Now, I’m a little more busted up than usual, I'll be honest. Earlier tonight, I participated in a hell of a match at Zenith’s Ground Zero. If you think that puts me on any kind of back foot you’ve never met me. I’ve got some things to say, before this historic King of the Mountain Match tonight.
Effy spreads out her arms with a slight wince and takes in the energy of the audience. When she stops, FM points to the camera with a smirk and a growl.
FM Young: First, the elephant in the room. Serena Riot, you may have a legendary career, but you've been handed a golden ticket back into the spotlight. Retirement hasn't been kind to you, and let's not forget, the last time we tangled, it was a draw! Tenacity won't save you this time because I won't let you have that championship easily. You want it? You’ve got to more than earn it. Because if I do nothing else, I’ll keep us BOTH away from it, before I let you just have it.
Effy’s tone softens as she continues on, back to leaning on the ropes as she adjusts her She-Hulk-themed ring gear slightly.
FM Young: Chelsea Leclair, you may not have a stellar record, but I respect your determination. This is your chance to make an impact, and I'm not underestimating anyone in this match. Especially you, because you’re so damn keen to have a place here. I want you to, but nobody is walking over me tonight. If that belt goes home with you, big IF, Btw the way. I won’t be disappointed, because you’ll have worked to make that happen.
Putting the mic closer to her face with a puff of air.
FM Young: Manic, oh Manic, you're too busy with mind games and messing around. You barely scraped by AJ Jenkins, and I expect you to get lost in the shuffle while I ascend to the gold. I don’t even consider you much of a threat even if this hardcore hell type stuff is your wheelhouse. You’ve traditionally come up empty against me, try as you might. The mind games won’t help you when there’s a ladder to climb, and trust I’ll take the time to make sure you taste the steel.
FM strokes her chin in mock thoughtfulness, and with a tilt of her head she looks out over the crowd.
FM Young: Who does that leave? Ah, yes, right… Kamila Rose, our current champion, you've been quiet for too long. You've coasted on that belt, no real challenges to speak of, not even many defenses. It's time for a change. You're just a cub, and I'm here to show you what it truly means to be a champion. The pressure of this match, this historic match type. The King of the Mountain Match will be your undoing. Because you can’t hack it, and that belt needs to be away from you.
The intensity from the big woman finally starts boiling over, as she paces the ring like the tiger she’s known to be.
FM Young: I respect you all, but respect won't win this match! It's go time, and I'm here to take that Extreme Championship and return it to its former glory. No more children, no more pretenders, and no more free passes! That belt needs a reputation rehab, bad. It’s been shunted off too long, and I intend to show *everyone* in Empire Wrestling why it is one of the best Championships we have.
FM pounds her chest with her usual roar to the crowd, again just soaking in their raucous energy with her arms and head tossed back. Then she bends forward to speak one more time.
FM Young: Empire Wrestling, get ready because FM Young is about to rise like never before! I’ve been a hardcore champion before, and I’m NOT too old to go like that again. Time to remind everyone of that. I’m the only one in this match who’s won the King of the Mountain before, and I’m damned and determined to do it again. The ladder to success is MINE to climb, and NO ONE will stand in my way! Next Level Ascension, be prepared for the chaos because FM Young, the Savage She-Hulk, the Daughter of Agiad, is coming for that championship!
FM Young drops the microphone, and the crowd roars with excitement as she exits the ring, leaving no doubt that she's ready for the King of the Mountain ladder match.
SPARTAN CHAMPIONSHIP
Samantha Hamilton Vs. Jenna Jillian Walker (c)
Kevin Olsen: This is going to be a hard hitting FIGHT!
Samantha Hamilton came out to the stage as the crowd roared for her. She fired them up with a pounding of her chest, Viking war paint on her face for this big match. She made her way to the ring and climbed inside. The Spartan Champion, Jenna Jillian Walker, came out next and her own patches of fans as they cheered her on. Walker showed the Spartan Championship around her waist as she flexed on the stage. Walker made her way into the ring and climbed inside as she held up the Spartan Championship. She handed the title off and the bell rang to get us underway. The two competitors circled each other and shook hands before quickly locking up. Walker and Hamilton tried to push each other but were able to both stand their ground. Walker slipped behind Hamilton with a wristlock and Hamilton quickly and easily got to the ropes to force a rope break, her first of three.
Gemma Foster: Really smart there to force Sam to use one of her three rope breaks early.
Hamilton gave Walker a nod, knowing what she was doing. Hamilton pulled Walker in and locked her in a side headlock and did the same. She cranked the neck of Walker and forced her to use the ropes early to break it. The two backed away from each other and started to circle. Walker speared Hamilton into the corner! Walker looked for another but Hamilton caught her with a lifting knee. Hamilton connected with a kick to the chest that caused Walker to stand and then hit a running DDT. Hamilton rolled into a cover and got one before Walker kicked out. She powered to her feet and hit a clothesline as Hamilton stood still. Hamilton came back with a big clubbing blow of her own but Walker didn’t move. Hamilton ran and hit a lariat that Walker shook off. Hamilton went for a second but Walker ducked it. Hamilton kept running and ran into a powerslam! Walker pulled Hamilton up and tried to lock in her Snap, Crackle, Pop (Cross Face Chicken Wing) but Hamitlon was able to push backwards and ran Walker into the corner to break it up. Hamilton turned and lifted Walker to the top turnbuckle. Hamilton jumped up and delivered WRATH OF THE FURIES (Springboard Spanish Fly)! Hamilton covered and got a two count before Walker kicked out.
Kevin Olsen: Kickout!
Walker slowly got to her feet as Hamilton looked for a running big boot but missed! Walker grabbed Hamilton from behind and delivered her Under The Bridge (Bridge Dragon Suplex) and looked to end things but Hamilton kicked out at two.
Gemma Foster: Sam still has some fight left in her.
Walker and Hamilton popped up to their feet and Walker lifted her up and came down to the mat with a sit-out spinebuster. Walker elected to not cover and pulled Hamilton to her feet. Walker whipped Hamilton into the ropes and wanted to hit her All the Way Up (Pop-Up Powerbomb) but Hamilton countered with a spear! Hamilton pulled Walker up and drove her into the mat with the Wrath of the Titans (Pedigree)! Hamilton rolled Walker over and hooked a leg and the crowd popped when Walker kicked out at two!
Gemma Foster: How!?
Hamilton looks around and is in disbelief that Walker kicked out. Hamilton quickly went for an anklelock but Walker was able to get free. She got to her feet and Hamilton locked in the EXILED TO TARTARUS (Sleeper Hold)! Hamilton dropped to the mat and had the hold locked in tight. Walker thrashed around and refused to give up. The referee checked on her and was ready to call the match but she had a burst of energy. She was able to wiggle her body close enough to use a rope break, her second!
Kevin Olsen: Walker just had a lot taken out of her there. Hamilton has her on the ropes.
Hamilton started to set Walker up for another Wrath of the Titans but Walker hit her with a backdrop. Walker approached Hamilton and Hamilton rolled her to the mat with a kneebar! Walker was able to get to the ropes and used her third and final rope break. Walker got to her feet and Hamilton rushed into a kick to the gut. Walker pulled her in and hit the BluePrint (Cradle Piledriver)! Walker covered Hamilton for just two as Hamilton got her foot on the ropes, her second rope break. Walker quickly started to pull Hamilton into the center of the ring and up to her feet. Walker started to lock in Snap, Crackle, Pop but Hamilton hit her in the head with a hard elbow to the face! Hamilton lifted her up, Zeus’s Wrath (One Winged Angel)! She covered and Walker got her hand on the ropes but she was out of breaks as the referee countered to three!
WINNER AND NEW EW SPARTAN CHAMPION: Samantha Hamilton via pinfall @ 22:34
Gemma Foster: Hamilton has captured gold once again in Empire Wrestling!
Hamilton sat up and was handed the championship. She celebrated for a few moments as Walker pulled herself up. The two competitors shook hands once again in the middle of the ring as Walker left to let Hamilton celebrate.

Kevin Olsen: No Manic?
The bell rang and the match was under way! The four competitors all met in the center of the ring and came to blows! Riot and LeClair paired off and landed wild punches on each other as Young and Rose went back and forth.

Riot drove her knee into the gut of LeClair and clotheslined her over the top rope. Young hit Rose with a suplex and kicked her out of the ring. Riot and Young backed up and bumped into each other and turned around. They eyed each other and the crowd roared as they exchanged a flurry of punches. Riot got to her feet and was quickly rocked with a discus elbow strike. Rose pulled Riot in and clubbed her in the back with forearm shots and then delivered a suplex.

This let LeClair hit CANCELED (Corkscrew Moonsault) on Manic! LeClair covered and got a three count!
ELIGIBLE: Chelsea LeClair
Rose snuck up behind LeClair with a chair and cracked it across her back!
Kevin Olsen: It IS the Extreme Championship after all.
Rose set the chair up and powerbombed LeClair onto it as the falls “ooh’ed”. Rose covered and got a three count.
ELIGIBLE: Kamila Rose
Rose rolled out of the ring and grabbed a ladder and pushed it into the ring. Rose quickly set it up and started to make her climb to the top but LeClair tried to reach up and grab at her foot. Gemma Foster: Oh my god!

Rose went to the other side of the ladder and made her way up. Rose started to touch the title and LeClair stopped her. They started to fight on top of the ladder and Rose flipped over, hitting LeClair with the Twisting Vines (Pop Rocks (Sunset Flip Powerbomb))! Both were down and Riot was the other one standing. Manic started to charge at her and she hit Manic with Bitch Go BOOM (Literally just pushes her opponent with both of her hands, sending them flying across the ring. Often done when opponent is running at Serena)! Riot rushed over and hit Manic with the Wicked Ways (Curb Stomp)! Riot looked at the title above the ring and started to climb. Rose was up and drove a chair into the small of her back. Riot tried to fight it and climb but took another shot to the back.
Kevin Olsen: She’s just a few steps away!
Rose pulled Riot down and tried to toss her over the ropes but Riot landed on the apron. Rose stepped to the ladder and Young hit her with the Man Machine Interface! Manic started to set a table up on the outside and looked at Riot. Manic jumped to the apron and tried to hit a uranage to Riot through the table but Riot fought back. She pulled Manic into position and delivered the Psychosis (Cradle Piledriver) off the apron and through a table! Young started to climb the ropes and Riot pulled herself up. Riot and LeClair looked up at Young as she slowly climbed down the ladder with the title over her shoulder.
Gemma Foster: FM Young is now the Extreme Champion! What a match!
Young fell backwards into the ropes and held the title up as she pointed out to the crowd.
EW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
UNIFICATION MATCH
Marilyn Lee Cross Vs. Daniel Daemon
It was time for our main event! The fans buzzed with excitement as Marilyn Lee Cross came to the stage first. She had the interim World Championship around her waist and showed it off. She pointed up and out to the fans as she made her way down. She climbed inside and took her title off. The fans booed as Daniel Daemon came out next, his World Championship over his shoulder.
Gemma Foster: The winner will become the undisputed champion, Kev. This is one we’ve been waiting for.
Daemon made his way to the ring and stepped over the top ropes. He handed off his championship as Cross did as well. The referee held them both up as the match was announced. Daemon towered over Cross and the bell rang. She didn’t back down as she looked up at Daemon. Daemon looked around and tried to take her by surprise as he looked for a chokeslam! Cross spun away as he lifted her. Cross hit the ropes and had to duck a clothesline. She sharply turned and took him down with a chop block! Cross got up and hit the ropes and hit John Wilkes Boot (Running Yakuza Kick to the back of the head)!
Gemma Foster: No way!
Cross covered to end things and Daemon kicked out angrily at one. Daemon powered to his feet and hit a vicious chop to the chest. Cross staggered backwards and slowly turned back to him and was hit with an uppercut. Cross bounced off the mat and Daemon lifted her for a stalling suplex. Daemon dropped her to the mat and sat up. He pulled himself to his feet and grabbed Cross by the hair and yanked her up. Daemon sent her into the corner and moved around the ring. He delivered a corner clothesline and took a few steps away. He charged and looked for a second but she moved and he hit the corner hard. Cross ran the ropes and hit him with Catch Your Breath (Striking Spear)! Daemon went to a knee and she hit the ropes again and delivered Knee Harvey Oswald (Running Knee to the side of an opponent's head)!
Kevin Olsen: MLC is pulling out all the stops!
Cross went for a cover and got two before Daemon kicked out. Daemon got to his feet and Cross tried to get fancy and looked for a headscissors but Daemon countered but powerbombing her onto the mat. Cross rolled up to her feet and he delivered a running big boot to the face. Daemon pulled Cross up to her feet and slit his throat. He lifted her up and slammed her to the mat with a chokeslam. He pulled her right off the mat and hit a second! Daemon dropped and covered, getting a TWO! Daemon yanked Cross up and tossed her into the ropes and flipped her around with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker.
Gemma Foster: Daemon has control. I don’t know how much longer this will last.
Daemon pulled Cross back up and hit another big suplex. He swung her up quickly and slammed her to the mat with a powerslam. Daemon stood and put his foot on her chest for a pin where she kicked out at one. He smirked as she tried to fight her way to her feet. Daemon hit a big chop and then a scoop slam. At this point he was just picking her apart and toying with her. Daemon pulled Cross up by her arm and flipped her over to the mat. He dropped his leg across her chest and covered as she was able to kick out at two. Cross was able to roll away and got out of the ring. Daemon seemed annoyed as he went after her. He approached and Cross tripped him up, sending him face first off the steel steps!
Gemma Foster: Cross still has some fight!
Cross jumped to the apron and hit a meteora as she dove at him! His head bounced off the floor as Cross rolled through. They were both up and Cross hit another Knee Harvey Oswald (Running Knee to the side of an opponent's head)! Cross tried to roll Daemon into the ring and had a hard time. The fans boo as Martin West came from over the barricade and slid Daemon his World Championship. West jumped onto the apron and distracted the referee and Cross as she had just gotten into the ring.
Kevin Olsen: Come on! Not like this!
Daemon saw the title lying there beside him and started to crawl to it. The crowd was confused as one of his hooded pawns jumped into the ring and grabbed the title. He knocked West off the apron with it as the fans buzzed. The pawn jumped out of the ring and ran up the ramp and revealed himself to be Johnny Maverick! The fans erupted as he watched on. Daemon was stunned as he sat on his knees, watching Maverick hold up his title. Cross ran the ropes and hit John Wilkes Boot (Running Yakuza Kick to the back of the head)! She looked to the corner and thought about it.
Gemma Foster: Do it, Marilyn! Do it!
Cross went to the corner and popped up to the top before hitting a rare Battery Powered Bombshell (Shooting Star Press)! She covered as the fans counted along for THREE!
WINNER AND UNDISPUTED EW WORLD CHAMPION: Marilyn Lee Cross via pinfall @ 20:09
Gemma Foster: Marilyn Lee Cross has done it!
Maverick stood at the top of the ramp and clapped as Cross was handed her title. She celebrated as her name was announced the winner and confetti dropped. She clutched the title to her chest and then leaned into the ropes. The show ended as Cross caught some confetti and smiled.

EXTREME CHAMPIONSHIP
KING OF THE MOUNTAIN MATCH
FM Young Vs. Manic Vs. Chelsea LeClair Vs. Serena Riot Vs. Kamila Rose (c)
The Extreme Championship was above the ring as the match was announced and the fans cheered. They popped loud as Serena Riot was the first to make her way to the stage. She smiled as she moved across the stage. She tilted her head and smiled before moving to the ring. Chelsea LeClair was next to the ring as the fans also cheered her on. She talked to a few people on the ramp and held up a sign “Ocean City’s Champion”. She jumped into the ring and smiled as she jumped to a corner. The crowd started to boo as the lights went out and Manic was set to come out next but nothing. A few moments go by and she still doesn’t come so we moved on. FM Young’s music hit next as the crowd roared for one of their favorites. She jogged out to the stage and was clearly in fight mode. She marched to the ring and climbed inside and looked around at the competitors. The Extreme Champion, Kamila Rose, was out last. There were mixed reactions for her as she looked up at her title hanging above the ring. She rolled into the ring and stood in the middle.
Kevin Olsen: No Manic?
The bell rang and the match was under way! The four competitors all met in the center of the ring and came to blows! Riot and LeClair paired off and landed wild punches on each other as Young and Rose went back and forth.
Gemma Foster: Remember, a competitor must score a pinfall or submission win to be able to climb the ladder!
Young caught Riot with a hard chop to the chest that dropped her to a knee. Riot stood and ate a second chop that made her go to a knee again. Riot screamed as she speared Young into a corner and unloaded shots to the gut. Riot grabbed Young and delivered a clothesline out of the corner. Riot jumped to her feet and pounded her chest as the fans cheered. On the outside, Rose and LeClair were going back and forth with strikes.
