Episode #2 - July 25, 2018
Scott Parker: Hello once again, ladies and gentlemen. I am Scott Parker and to my right is the lovely Gemma Foster. Gemma, tonight we have one hell of a show. AJ Adams is scheduled to be in the house, F.M. Young takes on the Kumquat Kid in our main event, and Casey Grey is expected to run a gauntlet match for an opportunity at the Primetime Championship.
Gemma Foster:/ If you’ve followed along on Twitter then you know how Casey feels about not being the Primetime Champion and about this match.
Scott Parker: Also tonight we have the rematch from the first Hype as Zoey Mathews-Mitchell and Alex Silver square off once again.
Gemma Foster: And don’t forget the EW debut of Johnny Maverick! We’re in for a treat tonight!
Azurine Vebbins Vs. Billy Way
Vebbins got the majority of the cheers as she made her way down to the ring. The fans seemed behind her as she smiled in the middle of the ring. Billy Way didn’t make his way down the ramp as his music played but instead snuck into the ring from under the apron and behind Vebbins. Vebbins looked up at the screen and turned just as Way went for an attack to open the match and he just smirked.
Scott Parker: Billy Way is once again trying to “entertain” here to start things off.
The two locked up and Way quickly took Vebbins down with an arm drag and locked in an armlock with Vebbins on the mat. Vebbins tried to get to her feet but was quickly kicked down and had more pressure applied to her arm. Way pulled on the arm and then pulled Vebbins to her feet. Vebbins used her free hand and rocked Way with a left hand to the head. Then a second. And a third. Vebbins broke free and jumped up and hit Way with a knee strike to the head. She looked for a bulldog but Way countered and sent her over the top ropes and Vebbins went crashing hard to the floor. The referee began his count as Vebbins slowly got back to her feet and entered the ring around the seven count. Way hit a clubbing forearm to the back of Vebbins’ head and pulled her up. She came right back with a hard forearm of her own to the face of Way. She rocked him with an open palm strike that seemed to daze him and then took him down with a jumping clothesline. Vebbins pulled down her knee pads as Way got to his feet and she connected with two knees to the sternum, a superkick as he fell to a knee, and finished the Sweetheart Sock Hop with a DDT. Vebbins went for a cover but Way was able to roll away and under the ropes. Vebbins watched on as Way pulled himself up and fell into the crowd and seemingly disappeared through the people as Vebbins was awarded the win.
WINNER: Azurine Vebbins, via pinfall @ 7:02
Gemma Foster: Well, once again Billy Way does things his own way.
Round Two, FIGHT!
Somewhere backstage, Zoey Mathews-Mitchell is sat atop a loading crate. Donned in her ring gear, hooded vest, and neoprene mouth mask, she begins to talk.
Zoey Mathews-Mitchell: I’ve always been about making a noteworthy first impression. When I first entered the wrestling world in CCW, I stood up to the largest woman on the roster when everyone else was too afraid to. My very first appearance in EWS, I won the Goddess Championship. In AXW, The Takeover put the tag team division on notice. And now in EW, how about a leg drop off the stage after a great match? Alex Silver and I went out there and put on a match that people talked about so much that EW signed us on for a rematch. So Alex Silver, all I have to say to you is: thank you, sir, may I have another?
Zoey Mathews-Mitchell Vs. Alex Silver
The fans were really behind the start of this match after the performance they put on just two weeks prior. The two circled each other and tried to size each other up. Mathews-Mitchell looked to lock up but Silver slipped away. He grabbed Mathews-Mitchell and hit a hip toss. She rolled right to her feet and both looked for a dropkick and both missed. Both competitors jumped back up and Silver looked for an Irish whip but Mathews-Mitchell countered into one of her own. She looked for a clothesline as Silver returned off the ropes but he ducked it. He hit the ropes and looked for a clothesline of his own but Mathews-Mitchell ducked it. Silver looked for another hip toss as he stopped quickly but Mathews-Mitchell countered into one of her own.
Scott Parker: Matching each other move for move tonight.
Mathews-Mitchell held onto the arm of Silver as she pulled him back to the mat as he started to get up and she looked for a crossface but Silver eventually rolled away. Both competitors started to stand and Silver quickly pulled Mathews-Mitchell into a small package but she kicked out just after one. Mathews-Mitchell ducked under a clothesline and rolled Silver up with a school girl pin but Silver kicked out quickly and popped to his feet. Both competitors stood and Silver jumped up and took Mathews-Mitchell down with a tornado ddt. Silver looked for a cover but only got two. Silver pulled Mathews-Mitchell to her feet and lifted her into a fireman’s carry as he was looking for the Silver Rush (Carry into Cutter) but Mathews-Mitchell fought out. She got to her feet and drove a knee into the gut of Silver and connected with the Faceplant (Famasser). She quickly pulled Silver to his feet and started to look for the Z4 (C4) but now Silver battled out with elbows to the side of her head. Silver went for a tackle to the mat but the two spilled through the second and top rope and fell to the floor, crashing hard. Both were slow to their feet but Silver got in moments before the 7 count and Mathews-Mitchell was in at 8. The fans were cheering for them both as their got to their feet. Both competitors hit the ropes and connected in the middle of the ring with a double clothesline and fell hard to the mat. Each covering each other with one arm in the middle of the ring and the referee counted a double pinfall!
DRAW @ 8:21
Gemma Foster: What just happened!?
The fans seemed shocked as the referee explained the ending to the timekeeper.
Scott Parker: Now a double pinfall? It looks like that spill to the outside of the ring dazed both Silver and Mathews-Mitchell.
Spiritual Ritual
Kevin Olson finds himself in a dimly lit area of the arena. He finds Kurt Hullum.
Kevin Olson: I’m here with Kurt Hullum, Kurt, what are you doing?
Kurt Hullum: Do you have a goat?
Kevin Olson: I beg your pardon?
Kurt Hullum: Did I stutter? Do you have a goat? It’s a simple yes or no question.
Kevin Olson: Uh, no, I don’t have a goat.
Kurt Hullum: Hmm…
Kevin Olson: Should I even ask?
Kurt Hullum: I’m trying to summon a demon. Didn’t you see the pentagram on the floor? I wanted to get some practice in before my match, but you don’t have a goat I can sacrifice so this is all going to waste. Thanks a lot, Kevin.
Kevin Olson: ….I’m sorry?
Kurt Hullum: No worries. I’ll just do what I do best: win in the ring where it matters. I’m undefeated, you know.
Kevin Olson: You lost two weeks a—
Kurt Hullum: Nope! Wasn’t pinned, wasn’t submitted, I am undefeated, and the streak continues tonight.
Kevin Olson: Alright, well thanks for your time, Kurt.
Alicia Monroe stands next to the locker room. She is looking at her phone when Kevin Olson walks up.
Gemma Foster:/ If you’ve followed along on Twitter then you know how Casey feels about not being the Primetime Champion and about this match.

GATEKEEPER
Alicia Monroe stands next to the locker room. She is looking at her phone when Kevin Olson walks up.
Kevin Olson: Alicia, have you seen Casey this evening?
Alicia Monroe: Yep.
She keeps on messing around on her phone.
Kevin Olson: Well, can you tell me where she is? I would like to get her opinion on this match that she has tonight.
Alicia Monroe: Nope.
Kevin Olson: Everyone wants to know what she’s thinking. She hasn’t been very forthcoming on Twitter or anything since the announcement was made.
Alicia chuckles and shakes her head.
Alicia Monroe: They’ll find out. Sorry I can’t help you out anymore, Kev.
Kevin Olson: What am I going to do? I’m supposed to talk to her about-
Alicia Monroe: Talk to me.
Alicia continues with her phone, not bothering to look up.
Kevin Olson: Okay. Well, it looks like your second match is essentially the same as your first one, just with more people involved. What do you think about that?
Alicia slips her phone into her gym bag.
Alicia Monroe: Well, I don’t really have much of an opinion. I’m going to have to do what I can and just get out there and try to win. I watched a lot of videos of the other competitors and despite what everyone hasn’t seen, Casey has been helping me work through the intricacies of these types of matches. It’s how she won her title in the first place. I just have to make sure nobody wins while my back is turned. It'll be harder with three other wrestlers than with two, so we'll just have to see how that goes.
Kevin Olson: That is true. All right then. Well, good luck. No chance you’re going to get Casey for me?
Alicia Monroe: Bye, Kevin.
Kevin walks away. Alicia leans against the wall, guarding the door.
Daniel Daemon Vs. Kurt Hullum
There was some buzz from the fans for the start of this match. Daemon stood on the outside of the ring and looked to Hullum who was in the ring, waiting. Jace Markum ran down the ramp and attacked Daemon from behind. Daemon barely budged and turned before dropping Markum with a big boot. Markum hit the ramp and started to scurry away as Daemon went after him. The referee looked around and seemingly called off the match. Hullum raised his hand as if to celebrate victory.
Gemma Foster: I don’t think this match ever got started, Kurt.
Scott Parker: Well, he’s still unpinned then.
The Star of the Show
We open backstage, with a shot of a black jacket, the words “ULTRA CONFIDENT” and “I AM THE STAR” emblazoned with a hot pink star, as a turning Hailey Harris “greets” us with a sly smirk from under her matching pink chrome shades. Harris lowers them, rolling her eyes, shaking her head.
Hailey Harris: So is that how it works? If you speak the truth, speak it loud and clear, you’re punished and thrown into a bullshit fatal fourway match? I see how things work around here. I read you loud and clear Mr. or Mrs. Oz. Pay no attention to the person behind the curtain, and don’t piss them off by calling them out on their shit. Gotcha.
Harris clips her shades on her jacket, running her fingers through her hair.
Hailey Harris: Ollie, I’m a gamer too, but tonight, tonight games are the furthest thing from my mind, so I guess tonight I put you to bed early like the Virtual Boy. Alicia Monroe, you have no identity, no IT factor, nothing. You are a prop that holds up the “mighty” Casey Gray, and that’s as pathetic as it sounds. And then there’s my little Latina bimbo who needs to be put in her place and shown that she’s not on my level, and deserves to be a bottom feeder on this food chain. Fact is, all three of you do, and tonight, well tonight is my statement to our “mystery management”.
Harris takes a deep breath, putting her shades back on.
Hailey Harris: Don’t fuck with your star. Don’t disrespect the best. Tonight I show you, I show the world, that I. AM. YOUR STAR!
With a sly grin, Harris walks off.
Talia Areano Vs. Alicia Monroe Vs. Ollie Maverick Vs. Hailey Harris
Areano, Monroe, and Maverick all stood in the ring as Harris started to make her way to the ring. She tossed a pair of sunglasses aside in anger as her music was cut and EW Play-by-play guy, Scott Parker, was standing at the announcers table with a microphone in hand.
Scott Parker: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m sorry to interrupt but I was just given an envelope marked urgent as these fine superstars were making their way to the ring.
He takes a moment to read is as Harris is upset about her entrance being cut short and the other competitors looking around confused.
Scott Parker: It seems this match is now a tag team match! Ms. Harris will team with Ms. Areano against the team of Ollie Maverick and Alicia Monroe!
The fans cheer as Harris seems furious and Areano doesn’t seem too pleased either after hearing the promo that Harris had just cut.
Hailey Harris & Talia Areano Vs. Alicia Monroe & Ollie Maverick
Maverick and Areano were set to start the match off but Areano tagged her partner in with a hard slap to the back as she was yelling out to the crowd. Harris climbed into the ring and started to argue with Areano and Maverick snuck up behind and rolled Harris up but she kicked out at two. Harris rolled to her knees and took a hard kick to the chest from Maverick. He looked for a second but Harris ducked it and pushed Maverick on his back and through the ropes to the floor below. Harris looked over at her partner and told her to “watch how it’s done”. She hit the far ropes and flipped over the top ropes and took out Maverick. Harris picked Maverick up and rolled him into the ring. She tried for a cover but he rolled to his corner and tagged in Monroe. Monroe climbed into the ring and hit Harris with a running knee to the gut. She looked for a swinging neckbreaker but Harris went to pull her away and then pulled her down by her hair. The referee told her to watch the hair and she then tagged out to Areano. Areano came off the top rope and hit Monroe with a hurricanrana.
Gemma Foster: Areano showing off her high flying talents.
Areano gathered herself and looked for a shining wizard but Monroe ducked it. Monroe grabbed Areano from behind and hit her with the Freebird (Running Bulldog). Monroe went for a cover but Harris jumped into the ring and broke it up with a hard stomp. Maverick got into the ring and hit Monroe with the 360 No Scope (Jumping Corkscrew Roundhouse Kick) but only seemed to partially connect. Maverick went to pull Areano up but the referee started to step between him and told him to get out of the ring. He jumped out and Harris pulled him down from the apron and tossed him into the steel steps. Monroe turned her attention to Maverick which allowed Areano to try and roll her up but she only got two. Areano went to the corner and started to climb to the top ropes but Harris tagged herself in and then pushed Areano off the top ropes and onto the floor below.
Scott Parker: Hailey just took out her own partner!
Harris grabbed Monroe and hit her with the Long Shot (Twist of Fate) and covered for a victory just before Maverick could break up the pin.
Gemma Foster: And then steals the win!
WINNER: Hailey Harris & Talia Areano, via pinfall @14:31
Harris smirked as she rolled out of the ring and made her way up the ramp.
Head and Shoulders
Bailey Mayhew is backstage, watching something on a tv. Kevin Olson approaches her.
Kevin Olson: Hey Bailey. Whatcha doing?
Bailey Mayhew: Hi, Kevin. I’m just watching some Katie Shelley matches. Gosh, her hair is so pretty.
Kevin Olson: Scouting for your match tonight I take it?
Bailey Mayhew: No, I’m just really obsessed with her hair. It’s so perfect. We’re best friends now, did you know that?
Kevin Olson: Yes, I’ve been keeping up with your Twitter.
Bailey Mayhew: Stalker.
Kevin Olson: …So anyway, you’re prepared for your match then?
Bailey is glued to the tv, probably distracted by Katie’s hair.
Bailey Mayhew: What match?
Kevin Olson: Against Katie Shelley.
Bailey Mayhew: Ugh, her hair is so perfect. I wonder what kind of shampoo she uses. I’m gonna text her and ask her.
Kevin Olson: Well ladies and gentlemen, Bailey Mayhew, who always seems to have her priorities in order, seems laser focused on her match tonight against Katie Shelley. Stay tuned.
Phoenix Tears
“Lights Out” by P.O.D. engulfs the Warehouse as the fans roar to their feet. AJ Adams makes his way to the stage in jeans and a t-shirt. He offers a quick smile but it’s easy to see he’s all business tonight. He rolled into the ring and took the microphone that was offered to him from the outside. The crowd cheered him on as he paced around the ring, looking eager.
AJ Adams: Well that happened. Let’s not dwell on it too much, shall we? Emily Corlen ruined a perfectly good evening.
The fans boo at the attack he suffered and the mention of Corlen.
AJ Adams: I was out here talking about how I’ve come to Empire Wrestling to leave a legacy, to write another chapter in my story. After talking about our actions defining out legacy we get to see what legacy Emily Corlen wants to leave behind. She wants her legacy to show that while on one hand she’s ruthless by putting me through a flaming announce table, she’s also gutless by making things about “deals” and “offers”. Instead of being here tonight to fight me she is going to do things on her own time.
More boos as he just shakes his head.
AJ Adams: I’ve always said “be prepared” and here I am, prepared for a fight. Yet, Emily would rather sit behind a touchscreen and tell me that she’s going to punch my lights out.
He looks around, similar to the John Travolta confused gif from Pulp Fiction.
AJ Adams: Here I am, Emily. But here you aren’t. When you’re ready to actually face me and show some spine, you’ll be the one lights out. I’ll leave the mat covered in emerald Phoenix tears.
Adams drops his microphone and ducks out of the ring.
Johnny Maverick Vs. Brent Bradley
Bradley awaited his opponent and the crowd loved as Johnny Maverick made his debut. He was fired up and ran to the ring. Bradley tried to get a jump on Maverick with kicks just as Maverick started to get into the ring. Bradley tried to pull Maverick up and hit his Pretty Killer (Cutter) off the bat but Maverick pushed him away. Maverick hit a big German suplex and rolled to his feet. Bradley rolled to his feet and was rocked with the Third Eye Opener (Bicycle Knee Strike followed by spinning backfist). Maverick dropped into a cover and picked up an easy win.
WINNER: Johnny Maverick, via pinfall @ 2:42
Scott Parker: Brent Bradley just had his third eye opened.
Gemma Foster: Johnny Maverick picks up his first victory here in Empire Wrestling.
Bailey Mayhew Vs. Katie Shelley
These two were ready to square off but were talking before the bell sounded to start things off. Mayhew really seemed to want to know “the secret” behind Shelley’s hair and the two laughed.
Scott Parker: This is… different.
The referee asked if they were ready and they both got serious and locked up. Shelley landed the first could strikes before getting send into the corner. Mayhew charged but ran into an elbow to the face. Mayhew staggered but then hit Shelley with a pele kick as she came out of the corner. Mayhew tired for a camel clutch but Shelley slipped away. The two locked up and Shelley hit a scoop slam. She jumped up for a leg drop but Mayhew rolled out of the way. Mayhew hit Shelley with the Kneed You Tonight (Springboard Knee Strike) as she stood. Mayhew went for a cover but only got two. Shelley started to fight her way to her feet with lefts and rights and then speared Mayhew to the mat. They both rolled to their feet and Shelley charged Mayhew and hit her with the Aerial Ace (Double Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissors Takeover). Mayhew stumbled up to her feet, dazed, and Shelley hit her with a kick to the gut. Shelley looked for the Junk Yard Jam (Pedigree) but Mayhew hit a backdrop. Mayhew grabbed Shelley and took her right back down with the Into the Sunset (Asai DDT). Mayhew scrambled to her feet and climbed the turnbuckle to the top ropes. She dove and hit the Not Just Another Frog Splash but Shelley then rolled her into a small package and got a surprising three count just as Mayhew popped up!
WINNER: Katie Shelley, via pinfall @ 10:42
Gemma Foster: That’s a veteran move from Shelley, using Mayhew’s momentum from the frog splash to roll her up.
The two women met in the center of the ring for a brief handshake.
OMEN
Alicia Monroe stands next to the locker room. She is looking at her phone when Kevin Olson walks up.
Alicia Monroe: Done told you, Casey ain’t acceptin’ visitors right now. You might wanna walk on somewhere.
Kevin Olson: Come on, Alicia. This isn’t going to fly. I need to speak with Casey about her match. You need to let me talk to her.
Alicia Monroe: Nope.
Kevin Olson: Why not?
Alicia Monroe: Casey needs her time. She don’t want to be bothered. Her official statement for the fans and everyone watchin’ is that she was robbed and she ain’t lettin’ it stand.
Kevin Olson: The title was vacated. She wasn’t robbed…
Alicia Monroe: She doesn’t have it right now, right? And she never lost it? In her mind that’s stealin’. Somebody’s gotta pay. You open that door and walk in that room, it might be you.
Kevin shakes his head.
Kevin Olson: This is crazy. You know that right?
Alicia shrugs, still not looking up from her phone.
Alicia Monroe: Bye, Kevin. Talk to her at Aftershock.
Kevin Olson walks away, leaving Alicia alone and leaning against the wall. A moment passes, then a female voice from off screen.
Female Voice: You do what I ask? Anyone come by?
Alicia nods.
Alicia Monroe: Only person that came by was Kevin. He’s persistent. I shoo’d him away.
Female Voice: Good.
BANG!
It sounds like someone threw a chair against the door. Alicia stands up and backs away.
BANG! BANG!
The door flies open. The room is dark.
FADE TO BLACK.
Gauntlet Match
If Casey Grey wins she’ll earn a Primetime Championship opportunity
Casey Grey came out to the ring looking focused and determined. She was flanked by her cousin Alicia Monroe who was cheering her on as they walked to the ring. Grey walked up the steel steps and stared a hole through the stage as she awaited whatever was about to come her way. Monroe planted herself near the announcers table at ringside and the crowd got quiet in anticipation.
“I’m Bout It” by Troy Ave hit and the EW faithful seemed shocked and awed as EW alumni Gio DeLuca of the team The Haters came rushing out to the stage.
Gio DeLuca: Say it with me. I know it's been a while since you heard it like this. The boy can't miss, Rolex on the wrist. Bezel on brisk, 'bout time the real returned, we still exist! You know my name. It’s Gio DeLuca and I’m bout it.
DeLuca walked and talked his way to the ring as Grey watched on, eager to get the match started.
Gio DeLuca: Ya boy is here and I see this hater in the ring. I was asked to come back for this little shin and it’s about to be--
DeLuca entered the ring and took a running knee strike to the face as Grey screamed. She flipped DeLuca over and locked in the Bitch Muzzle (Crossface) and DeLuca began to tap.
Scott Parker: Well that didn’t last long. Welcome back to Empire Wrestling, Gio.
Grey rolled DeLuca out of the ring and wanted the next one. There’s a much louder pop as yet another EW alumni made their way to the stage. “Watch Me” by Icon For Hire played and former EW Tag Team Champion Kayla Taylor made her way out. She entered the ring and the two circled each other. Grey pulled Taylor down into a headlock and flipped her down to her back. Grey was trying to move Taylor to her stomach so she could lock in the Bitch Muzzle but Taylor slipped away. Taylor connected with a scoop slam and followed it with an elbow drop. Taylor pulled Grey to her feet and sent her into the corner and then hit a running corner splash. Taylor looked for a crossbody off the second ropes but was blasted with the Breath Mint (Forearm Smash). Grey went for a cover but only got a two count. Taylor got to her feet and was hit with a dropkick to the knees that dropped her to the mat. Grey looked for a running knee strike but Taylor rolled out of the way. Taylor hit Grey with an uppercut and then a jawbreaker. Taylor pulled Grey in for the Broadway Lights (Cross Rhodes) but Grey battled out. Taylor hit Grey with a kick to the knee that dropped her to one knee and followed it with the Stamp it Out (Superkick to opponent on knees) and then quickly hit the Plan A (Shining Wizard) right after. She covered but Grey kicked out at two.
Gemma Foster: Kayla Taylor nearly ended it right there! She’s giving Casey a run for her money.
Grey staggered to her feet and had to battle out of Taylor looking for the Broadway Lights again. Grey pulled Taylor down as she started to spin away and locked in the Bitch Muzzle and Taylor was forced to tap out!
Gemma Foster: That’s two down!
Scott Foster: Quite a good showing from Taylor and you’d have to believe it will be hard for Grey to pull off another match.
Grey sat on the mat as she caught her breath and looked up at the ramp. The third competitor for Grey came out and it was BWF alumni and the original student of the EW gym, Kaito Hirano!
Scott Parker: Former BWF Sovereign Champion Kaito Hirano is in the Warehouse!
Hirano eyed Grey from the top of the ramp as she pulled herself up. Monroe cheered her on as she had moved to the side of the ring, pounding the apron. Hirano pointed to himself and seemed to gesture he’s the final competitor. Grey nodded and readied as Hirano charged and slid under the ropes and to his feet. The two started to exchange lefts and rights and Grey hit a hip toss. Hirano rolled to his feet and hit a charging Grey with a spinning heel kick. He connected with a hard kick to the leg that staggered Grey. She hit him with the Breath Mint and he was stunned as she connected to the bridge of his nose. He blinked a few times and just dodged coming with a clothesline. Hirano dropped Grey with a drop toe hold and flipped to his feet. She got to a knee and he blasted her with Yoi Yume O [Sweet Dreams] (Running Knee to knelt opponent). He went for a cover and Grey was just able to kick out before three. Hirano pulled Grey up and lifted her onto his shoulders with ease into a fireman’s carry. Grey grabbed the top ropes to block Hirano’s overhead kick and he dumped her to the apron. He turned and she reached over the top ropes and hit another Breath Mint. She climbed to the top ropes and dove, hitting Hirano with a diving version of Breath Mint.
Scott Parker: Casey fighting with everything she has!
Hirano staggered backwards as Grey got to her feet. She charged and he quickly lifted her up and hit the Oyasumi [Goodnight] (Fireman's Carry Overhead Kick)! He covered once more and the referee stopped his count at three as she had her foot on the ropes, Monroe shouting at the referee to see it.
Gemma Foster: Great ring awareness by Casey!
The fans began to chat “this is awesome” as both competitors were slow to their feet. Hirano pulled Grey up and wanted another Oyasumi [Goodnight] (Fireman's Carry Overhead Kick). Grey slipped down and pulled him to the mat and locked in the Bitch Muzzle. Hirano battled and wouldn’t tap. He inched to the ropes and just before he could grab them, Grey kicked her foot off the bottom rope and they both rolled back to the middle of the ring and Hirano was forced to tap!
WINNER: Casey Grey @ 28:33
Monroe jumped into the ring and hugged her cousin.
Scott Parker: And Casey Grey has earned a shot at the Primetime Championship and it’s well deserved!
Gemma Foster: I can’t wait to hear what Casey is going to have to say about tonight.
Grey looked over to Hirano and smiled, pleased with herself.
F.M. Young Vs. Ryan Lewis
Young and Lewis were set for the main event as was the crowd. The two circled and locked up. Young powered Lewis into the corner and began to connect with hard right hands and then a hard knee to the gut. She looked for a corner Man-Machine Interface (Discus Clothesline) but Lewis ducked under her. He connected with a superkick that sent her into the corner and fell to the mat into a seated position. Lewis hit a cornered version of the Rolling Kumquats (Rolling Thunder senton) and pulled Young into the center of the ring and tried for a cover but just got one. Young powered to her feet and hit an open palm strike to the face. She jumped up and hit a double knee strike to the head. The fans started to buzz as Jace Markum came stumbling out from the back and to the stage. His shirt was torn and his arm had a cut on it as Daniel Daemon came out from behind the curtain. Young had her attention drawn away and Lewis hit her with a running dropkick.
Scott Parker: Has Daemon been chasing Markum around all night long!?
Markum stumbled into the ring as Daemon climbed in after him. He lifted Markum up and tossed him across the ring and right onto Young as the referee called for the bell. Young and Markum both got to their feet and Young was not happy. She lifted Markum and hit him with the Human Error Processor (Assault Driver). Daemon pulled Markum out of the ring and carried him on his shoulder to the back as the referee explained things to Lewis and Young.
WINNER: F.M. Young, via disqualification @ 7:04
Scott Parker: Young is technically being awarded this match as she was attacked by Markum and Daemon.
Gemma Foster: Not how F.M. would want to win this match.
Young looked up at Daemon on the ramp with disgust as the show came to an end.
