A shot of Casey Grey, Billy Way, and Ollie Maverick.
Voiceover: Rising upward.
A shot of Johnny Maverick, Kurt Hullum, F.M. Young.
Voiceover: Tonight, ascension means winning.
A shot of Daniel Daemon and Chelsea Pryce.
Voiceover: Who will ascend to a higher level and capture their prize?
A shot of the Primetime and Heavyweight Championships end the video package as we cut to ringside for the start of the show.
Scott Parker: Welcome to Next Level: Ascension! Tonight we crown champions and ladders will be involved in both matches.
Gemma Foster: Can Casey Grey, Ollie Maverick, and Billy Way will look to become the Primetime Champion. One of them will climb to the top of a ladder and pull down the championship belt.
Scott Parker: For the EW Heavyweight Championship we will see the return of the King of the Mountain match. The ladder is the end game but to become eligible to climb the ladder you must first score a pinfall or submission victory.
Gemma Foster: Basically you have to win twice to win big.
Scott Parker: Throw in other matches like AJ Adams versus Emily Corlen, Zoey Mathews-Mitchell versus Alex Silver, and more and we have a great night in store.
Falls Count Anywhere
Primetime Championship #1 Contender Match
Zoey Mathews-Mitchell Vs. Alex Silver
Scott Parker: It’s time we finally get a winner between these two and there’s a lot on the line.
Mathews-Mitchell made her way to the ring first and sat in the corner and waited for Silver. She seemed very calm as Silver came out to the stage. He was fired up and was basking in the reaction from the fans. He hit the ring and things got underway quickly. Mathews-Mitchell and Silver locked up and Silver hit a hard chop to the chest. Silver tried to send Mathews-Mitchell into the ropes but she counters and pulls him into a side headlock. Mathews-Mitchell then takes Silver down with a Russian leg sweep. She pops up and quickly lands an elbow drop across the chest of Silver. Silver rolled to his feet and was hit with an European uppercut. Silver staggered and returned with a superkick that rocked Mathews-Mitchell and sent her through the middle ropes and to the outside. Silver hit the ropes and went diving through the middle ropes and hit a flying forearm smash to Mathews-Mitchell. They were both slow to get to their feet but Silver was up first. He grabbed Mathews-Mitchell and smashed her face first into the announcers table. Silver tried to suplex Mathews-Mitchell on the floor but she countered. She jumped up and looked for a DDT but Silver pushed her away. She charged and hit Silver with a big Shotgun Kick. She covered and the referee was in position on the outside to make a two count before Silver kicked out.
Scott Parker: Only two!
Silver was pulled to his feet and he speared Mathews-Mitchell into the apron. He rolled her into the ring and climbed in after her. Silver stalked Mathews-Mitchell as she got to her feet holding her back. He lifted her up and connected with a backbreaker across his knee. He went for a cover and got a two count as she kicked out. Mathews-Mitchell was pulled to her feet and sent into the ropes and had to duck a clothesline attempt. She slid out of the ring and Silver went after her. She turned and hit Silver with a flapjack that dropped him on top of the announcer table. He took a knee beside the table as Mathews-Mitchell climbed on top of it. She jumped off and hit a devastating Faceplant (Famouser). Mathews-Mitchell rolled Silver over and went for a cover as the referee got into position and Silver kicked out just in the last moment possible. Mathews-Mitchell pulled Silver up and rolled him into the ring. Silver somehow got to his feet as Mathews-Mitchell climbed into the ring. He landed a hard kick to the gut and lifted her up for the Silver Rush (Fireman’s Carry into Cutter). Mathews-Mitchell struggled out and landed on her feet. Silver turned around and was hit with Z4 (C4). Mathews-Mitchell covered and the crowd counted along for the three as she picked up the victory.
WINNER: Zoey Mathews-Mitchell, via pinfall @ 14:22
Scott Parker: And Zoey Mathews-Mitchell has assured herself a shot at the Primetime Champion, whoever that may be later tonight.
Gemma Foster: More importantly she finally has secured a win in his rivalry that started the night that Empire Wrestling came back to the airwaves.
Mathews-Mitchell celebrates in the ring as Silver uses the ropes to pull himself up. The two shake hands and get a standing ovation as Silver waves to the crowd and heads to the back.
The Queen of Ice
“Ascension…”
A strong, feminine voice softly resonates as the darkness becomes light. Within a solitary room, Chelsea Pryce is seated upon a throne that artistically resembles ice. Her sexy ice blue dress hugs the curves of her body and her legs for days are crossed to display elegance. Adorned on the top of her head is a crown embedded with sapphires and blue topaz. Her lips with a soft shade of blue lipstick curl up into a smile.
Chelsea Pryce: It is the act of rising to a higher level. How appropriate that this is tied in with the “Next Level”. A level that the world has never seen before… and that is what the world deserves.
She tilts her head, a few strands of her blonde hair falling in front of her right eye, and her jade green eyes stare straight into the camera.
Chelsea Pryce: A new monarchy. The people are not impressed by the silent. Kurt Hullum allows his actions to speak for him. That’s boring. Boring doesn’t work in the modern era.
She covers her mouth with her left hand and feigns a yawn before she continues.
Chelsea Pryce: The people are not impressed by the unprepared. They look at F.M. Young, the “One Woman Army”, and they realize she’s not fit to be a queen.
Raising her left hand, she wags her index finger condescendingly.
Chelsea Pryce: The people are not impressed by the lowly. A man who claims to be “the ruthless evil bastard by which all other ruthless evil bastards must be judged against”... Daniel Daemon, I know a real bastard when I see one. You, sir, are no bastard. I should introduce you to THE Eternal Bastard, Jack Darling.
A charming laugh escapes her parted lips before she uncrosses her legs. She lightly clicks her stiletto heels on the tile floor and smirks.
Chelsea Pryce: The people are not impressed by the familiar. They have already seen Johnny Maverick as the world’s champion… five times. It’s old and repetitive. It’s time for a change in power. It’s time for a new champion to rise in the Empire.
The Ice Queen rises from her throne and she closes the distance between herself and the camera.
Chelsea Pryce: There is always a price to pay… It’s time for the Ice Queen to claim what has eluded her for the last ten years.
She raises her left hand over her mouth, blows a kiss into the camera’s view, and she saunters off-screen. The camera focuses on the artistic “ice” throne before everything fades to black.
Ash Fi Vs. Izumi Sato
Gemma Foster: I’m really looking forward to the debut of Izumi Sato.
Scott Parker: I think she’s going to have her hands full with Ash here tonight.
Ash Fi and Izumi Sato are in the ring and the crowd is firmly in the corner of the Joshi Sensation. The bell rings and Ash rushes at Sato, backing her into the corner and laying into her with a series of elbow strikes. The referee starts to count and Ash backs away, making a clean break.
The two of them exchange strikes but Ash always seems to get the upper hand in these exchanges, returning fire with some stiff shot that kills the building excitement of the crowd starting to cheer for Izumi as she is mounting offense. The loudest boos come when Ash whips Izumi hard into the corner and hits her with the Ionsaí (Cornered Running Double Knee Strike) and Izumi slumps out of the corner.
With Izumi laid out, Ash locks in a coquina clutch, seemingly squeezing the life out of Izumi. The Ref checks on Izumi who keeps her hand raised, the audience cheering her on and giving her the strength to flip back with the hold still in place, pinning Ash’s shoulders to the mat for a two count that forces Ash to release the hold.
With both stars soon up to their feet Ash attempts a lariat but Izumi ducks under, quickly turning to face Ash and hitting her with a quick flurry of strikes ending in the Uraken! (Spinning backfist) Ash is on wobbly legs now and it gives Izumi the chance to quickly snap Ash down with the BUSHIDO! (Judo Style Uranage) and she quickly goes for a cover and gets the three count. The crowd goes wild!
WINNER: Izumi Sato, via pinfall @ 8:10
Kaito Hirano Vs. Josh Goldstein
Hirano and Goldstein were set to compete as they circled each other in the ring. Goldstein opened things up with a hard chop to the chest. Hirano answered with a chop of his own. Goldstein puffed up his chest and returned the chop to Hirano. Hirano responded with a kick to the shin and then a stiff uppercut. He looked for a kick to the gut but Goldstein caught it. Hirano looked for an enziguri but Goldstein ducked it and Hirano planted face first into the mat. Goldstein looked for a sunset flip pin and just barely got two as Hirano kicked out. Both men rolled to their feet and Hirano busted out a tornado kick to the face that dropped Goldstein.
Gemma Foster: The Jew Blazer is down!
Hirano was set in position and looked for the Yoi Yume O [Sweet Dreams] (Running Knee to knelt opponent) but Goldstein ducked under it. Goldstein jumped up and hit the Hannukanrana (Reverse Hurricanrana). Goldstein was fired up and got the crowd behind him. Hirano climbed to his feet and ducked a clothesline before hitting the blue thunder bomb. He rolled backwards to his feet and pulled Goldstein into position for the Osaka Bomb (Code Red). Goldstein countered with a big back drop. Hirano got to his feet and was dropped with the Chutzpah Boot (Bicycle Kick). He quickly followed it with the Dreidel Drop (Somersault Leg Drop) as the crowd went wild. Goldstein pulled Hirano and the crowd counted along but Hirano kicked out at two.
Scott Parker: Kaito somehow getting his shoulder up just in time.
Goldstein started to pull Hirano to his feet and Hirano pushed him away. Hirano lifted Goldstein onto his shoulders and wanted the Oyasumi [Goodnight] (Fireman's Carry Overhead Kick). Goldstein struggled and rolled Hirano up into a small package and got a shocking three count pinfall.
WINNER: Josh Goldstein, via pinfall @ 9:42
Regular Butterflies
Alicia stands in the back with Kevin Olson. Alicia wears black ring attire, with “Belle 01” written on her top.
Kevin Olson: Ladies and Gentlemen, we’re backstage with Alicia Monroe, who is about to walk out for the first pay per view match of her career. Alicia, how does it feel tonight knowing how important a win here tonight would be for you?
Alicia Monroe: It feels a lot better than my first match. I mean, the sparrow sized butterflies have shrunk back down to butterfly sized butterflies, but I guess that’s normal right? I mean, you train hard, you get out there and give it your all, but every match is three heartbeats from being over and it could be my shoulders down, my partner’s, or one of our opponents on the mat.
Kevin Olson: Right you are. Do you have any idea who your partner will be tonight?
Alicia Monroe: I don’t know. I’ve watched tapes and I’ve trained with Casey to be able to face both Talia and Azurine tonight, because with my luck they’ll make it a handicapped match at the last minute and I’ll end up facing them both on my own anyway.
Kevin Olson: That could certainly be a possibility. And on that note, I’d like to wish you the best of luck tonight.
Alicia Monroe: Thanks, Kevin.
Talia Areano/Azurine Vebbins Vs. Alicia Monroe/??
Alicia Monroe came out to the ring first as she awaited to find out who her partner would be. She didn’t have to wait long as the fans came to life when former EW Tag Team Champion Kayla Taylor made her way to the ring. She and Monroe quickly started to talk strategy as they prepared for the match. Areano and Vebbins came out next and the two were fired up for their tag match.
Scott Parker: Talia and Azurine have been on a roll since teaming up here in EW.
From the early goings of this match we can see that Azurine and Areano are very much on the same page as a team after their win on the last show, maintaining control of Kayla with frequent tags that keep her in their corner as Alicia eagerly stretches out her arm in anticipation of the pin.
Kayla at one point is able to hit Talia with a DDT but hadn’t noticed the blind tag to Azurine who quickly locks up with Kayla and suplexes her to the outside of the ring, causing an audible groan of concern from the audience as she hits the outside HARD. Talia rolls her back into the ring for Azurine to get the cover but it’s broken up at the two count with a running knee strike from Alicia. Alicia rushes back to her corner and the knee strike seems to have had enough of an effect on Azzy that Kayla is barely able to crawl over and make the tag to Alicia who comes out of her corner on fire, getting in some exciting offense before hitting Azurine with the Freebird (Running Bulldog). Azurine seems shuts down the fiery offense from the hot tag, countering a second attempt at the running bulldog with a northern lights suplex that bridges for a pin attempt that only gets a two.
Alicia is whipped into the corner but instead of hitting the corner she knocks Talia off the apron, but is grabbed from behind by Azurine who attempts an O’Connor Roll for a pin attempt but Alicia rolls through and Azurine’s shoulders are on the mat and out of nowhere Alicia gets the three count. Alicia rolls out of the ring to check on her tag partner as Talia and Azurine can’t believe they let that win slip away from them.
WINNERS: Alicia Monroe and Kayla Taylor, via pinfall @ 7:09
Monroe celebrated outside the ring as trainers came down to check on Taylor who appeared to be favoring her shoulder.
Gemma Foster: Kayla took a nasty bump when she landed on the outside of the ring. You have to hope she’s okay.
Formality
The audience buzzes for a moment but pops when “Rock Superstar” by Cypress Hill begins to play. Rune Sigidottir and Casey Grey step out onto the platform and head to the ring. Casey is wearing her black ring attire, with “Belle 02” written in script on her top. She greets fans on the way to the ring, while Rune strides purposefully and climbs up the steps. She takes a microphone from ringside while Casey climbs the turnbuckles to hype up the crowd. When she climbs back down, the crowd quiets.
Rune Sigidottir: Empire! Are you ready to re-crown the only true Primetime Champion tonight?!
The crowd gets loud again, egged on by Casey.
Rune Sigidottir: It’s sad, really, that it’s taken this long, and for that I would like to apologize to all of you fans on behalf of the management. But it’s been an interesting road, right? After putting our champion through the ringer over several weeks to prove to…someone…that she deserves a shot at her own championship, those in control just pick two people to put into a triple threat ladder match with Casey. But after all the injustice regarding the Primetime Championship, we’re not going to dwell on that. It’s just the nice little cherry on top of this sad little sundae. I just wanted to say to Ollie Maverick that there’s no reset or autosave in this match and Billy Way, you’re getting in the ring with a wolverine tonight. It’s not going to be pretty for either of you. Anything to add, Casey?
Casey takes the microphone from Rune.
Casey Grey: Yeah. Ya know, with everything that’s happened over the last eight weeks, I’m the only person on the roster that has shown I deserve my belt. This whole ladder match tonight is a formality, somethin' put on by Empire to make it seem like anyone else has a claim to the Primetime Championship. And since Maverick and Way haven’t proven anything, they certainly aren’t gettin' the belt. All they’re gonna get is a sinkin' feelin' in their stomach when they realize they’ve wasted their time by showin' up tonight.
Casey passes the microphone back to Rune, who hands it through the ropes. She and Casey return to the back of the warehouse.
Bombshell
We cut to the backstage area where F.M. Young sits in her ring gear, on a steel chair, in the middle of a room. She’s looking forward to the wall in front of her and there’s four pictures. Each having one of her opponents for tonight’s match.
F.M. Young: This isn’t the world of Kurt. I’ll be savoring watching you lose after you screwed me out of my BWF World Championship all those years ago.
She adjusts herself in the chair as she sits up straight.
F.M. Young: It’s time to send a demon back to Hell’s Kitchen. You should’ve stayed retired, Daniel.
Now she’s standing and is walking over to the pictures.
F.M. Young: This isn’t a revolution. Your unfinished business is going to stay unfinished.
She lets out a chuckle.
F.M. Young: Call me a pyro because I’m ready to melt an ice queen.
She starts to tear down the pictures from the wall.
F.M. Young: It’s my time. Time to drop this battery powered bombshell.
AJ Adams Vs. Emily Corlen
The fans were buzzing as the next match was about to start and they had been waiting weeks to see it. There was a thunderous roar for AJ Adams as he made his way to the ring and an equal amount of boos for Emily Corlen. Both competitors were fired up and ready to go. Adams slid out of the ring and charged up the ramp before the bell even rang to get his hands on Corlen. The two exchanged lefts and rights on the ramp as the referee yelled at them to get into the ring. Adams hit forearm after forearm and sent Corlen hard into the steel steps. Adams was fired up and pounded his chest before rolling Corlen into the ring. He climbed in after her and the referee held him back and forced him to allow Corlen to her feet to verify she could compete. She got up with the corner of her lip busted, a small amount of blood trickling out. She smirked and told Adams to bring it on. The bell sounded and the two came to blows once again.
Scott Parker: The referee has his hands full here tonight!
Corlen tackled Adams to the mat and the two rolled around the ring landing blows. Adams pulled Corlen to her feet and sent her into the corner. He charged and hit a big corner clothesline. Adams ran to the opposite corner and came running back for a second clothesline. He looked for a third but ran into a big boot from Corlen this time around. Adams staggered away and turned back to Corlen and she drove him into the mat with a big spear. She popped to her feet and Adams wasn’t far behind but he was hit with an European uppercut. She followed it up with a headbutt and then sent him into the ropes. She bent down and looked for a back body drop but Adams was ready and hit his Eat It (Fame Asser). Adams rolled Corlen into a cover but she was able to kick out at two. Adams started to pull Corlen to her feet and she pushed him away and quickly hit him with a knee lift strike to the chest. She pulled him in for a piledriver but he tried to fight out. Corlen landed hard blows to his sides and then connected with a sit down piledriver. Corlen rolled Adams over and covered but just got two as he kicked out.
Scott Parker: AJ and Emily exchanging a series of pinfall attempts here.
Corlen pulled Adams to his feet and he caught her with a right hand. He tripped her up and rolled behind her and locked in an anklelock. Corlen tried to get to the ropes but Adams kept pulling her back to the center of the ring. The fans were cheering Adams on as Corlen was in a lot of pain. She rolled out of the lock and rolled right out of the ring. Adams climbed out to the apron as Corlen got to her feet. He charged and hit Corlen with a diving clothesline. Adams pulled Corlen up to her feet and rolled her into the ring. He climbed up and immediately started to climb to the top turnbuckle. Corlen ran up the corner and tried to suplex Adams off but he stood his ground. He hit her with a few headbutts and then pushed her down to the mat. Adams steadied himself and dove, looking for his Truly Awesome (Shooting Star Press) but Corlen got her knees up and then went into the ribcage of Adams. She pulled him to his feet and quickly dropped him with the Down in Flames (Pedigree). She covered as the fans were in shock and Adams kicked out just before three. Corlen couldn’t believe it and started to pull him back to his feet. He pushed her away out of desperation and she planted her feet. She looked for the Skullcracker (Chick Kick) but Adams moved out of the way and she caught the referee in the side of the head.
Gemma Foster: The ref is down!
Adams spun Corlen around and connected with the Legacy Maker (Sister Abigail) as the fans popped. He rolled her over and into a pin attempt as the fans counted along to the three but there was no referee. Adams pounded the mat as he looked over at the referee. He stood and continued his attack. Adams stalked Corlen and called for the Lights Out (Tazzmission) but the lights went out!
Scott Parker: AJ yelled lights out and they just went out.
The moments came on a few moments later and two hooded figures stood in the ring, each with a chair in hand. Adams turned and took a hard chairshot to the head. The fans began to boo as they took turns landing shots to the downed Adams. The lights went out after the damage had been done and when they came back up they were gone and the referee was started to come to. Corlen wiped some blood away from her mouth as she crawled to Adams and was able to pull him to his feet. She dropped him with the Foregone Conclusion (Skull Crushing Finale) to add insult to injury and rolled him into a cover and picked up the victory.
WINNER: Emily Corlen, via pinfall @ 19:46
Corlen raised her hand in victory as she stood over Adams and the fans let her hear their displeasure.
Gemma Foster: Who were those hooded figures?
Scott Parker: You don’t think they were hoodie ninjas do you?
Gemma Foster: Whoever they were they just helped Emily win this match tonight.
Corlen stepped over Adams and left for the back as the referee checked on him and we cut away.
Primetime Championship
Ladder Match
Casey Grey Vs. Ollie Maverick Vs. Billy Way
Maverick and Way came out to the ring first as they stood around and looked up at the title belt hanging above them. Grey came out to the ring next and she walked down staring at the title the entire time. She grabbed the ladder that was set up ringside and slid it into the ring. She climbed in and set it up and started to climb the ladder right away as Way and Maverick seemed shocked.
Gemma Foster: Casey Grey going up to claim what she says is hers.
Way grabbed her by the foot and pulled her down and she clocked him with a hard elbow to the side of the head and pushed him away. She pointed up at the championship and said it belonged to her as she turned to Maverick. The two locked up and Maverick quickly hit an arm drag to Grey. He turned to Way and hit him with one as well. Grey grabbed Way as he stood and drove a knee into his gut and tossed him to the outside of the ring. Grey turned back to Maverick and he hit her with a kick to the gut and quickly landed a snap suplex. Maverick pulled her to her feet and tossed her out to the apron. Maverick started to climb the ladder for the championship but Way was there to climb the other side and hit Maverick in the gut. Way landed a flurry of right hands on Maverick. Way grabbed Maverick by the head and pulled him off the top of the ladder and hit the Simply Awesome Buster (Sitout Facebuster).
Scott Parker: Way and Maverick just came crashing to the mat hard!
Gemma Foster: But do you see what Billy Way did while he was outside of the ring? He set up a table near the bottom of the ramp.
Grey was getting to her feet and began to move the ladder back into position. She climbed up one side but Way was up and he grabbed her foot again. She tried to kick him away but he pulled her down. He looked for a belly to back suplex but she flipped behind him and landed on her feet. Way turned to her and was rocked with the Breath Mint (Forearm Smash). Way staggered and turned, allowing Grey to hit a lungblower. Maverick had used the ropes to pull himself up ino the corner and Grey charged and hit a big corner splash. She went for a bulldog but he lifted her up. She kicked the ladder and it pushed it over the top ropes. Maverick still had Grey in the air in a belly to back suplex position but used her as a battering ram on Way who was in the corner and then hit a belly to back suplex. Maverick pulled Grey on top of Way and ran across the ring and off the ropes, hitting the Sonic Spindash (Rolling Thunder into a Senton Splash) on them both.
Gemma Foster: Wow!
Maverick got out of the ring and pulled a ladder out from the ring and slid it in. He climbed in and set it up as quickly as he could. He started to climb but Grey was to her feet. She climbed the other side of the ladder and the two fought on the top. Way was slowly getting back up to his feet and stood at the bottom of the ladder. He grabbed it and started to push it over and the fans gasped and held their breath. Maverick and Grey worked together to try and shift their weight to put the ladder back down. Way pushed again and the ladder started to wobble. He gave it one last push and it started to tip. Maverick went falling to the outside and went crashing through the table and Grey jumped off and somehow balanced herself on the top ropes. She tried to jump backwards but Way pushed her to the outside and she went hard to the ground. Way repositioned the ladder and started his climb. He was fingertips away but Grey had made it back into the ring. She started to pull at Way and he slipped a few steps down. Grey climbed up a couple steps and put Way onto her back. She jumped off and hit the Racklash (Rack Attack)!
Scott Parker: Casey Grey with the Racklash!
Grey started to climb the ladder and Maverick was pulling himself out of the rubble. Grey struggled but started to try and unhook the belt. Maverick was to the apron and was pulling himself in just as she was able to secure the belt!
WINNER: AND NEW EW PRIMETIME CHAMPION, Casey Grey @ 25:11
Grey fell from the top of the ladder clutching the championship to her chest, screaming with excitement.
Gemma Foster: Good for Casey!
Scott Parker: This really was anyone’s match to win and she was able to pull it off.
Maverick nodded a few times as trainers wanted to check on him but he seemed to be okay for the most part. Grey had her hand raised in victory and showed the title for all to see.
Scott Parker: We’ve crowned one champion tonight and we’re close to crowning a new EW Heavyweight Champion.
Two of a Kind
We cut to the backstage area where we see EW’s liaison to management, Sara Logan, standing in a makeshift office.
Sara Logan: Tonight has been a fantastic return to Next Level events for Empire Wrestling and we’re nearing the end. It’s at this time I’m given the wonderful honor to announce the next Next Level event. On December 12th Empire Wrestling will present Next Level: Turmoil.
She smiles and then acts as if she’s thinking of something.
Sara Logan: Turmoil. That word is used a lot in wrestling, like in tag team turmoil. That’s right-
She snaps her fingers.
Sara Logan: And that night we will end the first ever Empire Wrestling Tag Team Championship Invitational where we’ll crown tag team champions. More on that in the next few days though. For now, let’s get back to the main event!
EW Heavyweight Championship
King of the Mountain Match
Kurt Hullum Vs. F.M. Young Vs. Daniel Daemon Vs. Johnny Maverick Vs. Chelsea Pryce
The fans were still buzzing from the big announcement as the superstars all came down to the ring. There was excitement for the debut of Pryce as she came out last. There were ladders scattered around the ring much like the last match. Once all five competitors got into the ring Young went right at Daemon and stood toe to toe and didn’t back down despite him looming a foot over her. Maverick eyed the two and then over to Pryce. Hullum seemed to be the odd man out and struck Pryce first to start things!
Scott Parker: Kurt letting those actions speak for him!
Hullum locked in a side headlock on Pryce but she was able to get out fairly easily as Young and Daemon came to blows. Maverick joined Young in backing Daemon into the corner with blows. Pryce had taken Hullum down with an arm trap neckbreaker and had him locked into a sleeper hold. Daemon powered out of the corner and hit a double clothesline on Maverick and Young. He hit Young with a scoop slam and then a headbutt on Maverick. Young was right back up but he lifted her up into a gorilla press and dumped her to the outside. Maverick hit Daemon with a hard kick to the leg and kept it up with a series of them to try and get him off balance. Maverick tried to suplex Daemon but couldn’t get him up. Maverick landed another kick to the leg and this time just rocked him with the OFMF (Running Palm Strike) that dropped him. Maverick backed up and backed right into Pryce. They turned to each other and went blow for blow before Maverick took her down with a swinging neckbreaker. Maverick got to his feet before he could take a moment Hullum grabbed him and hit the Crash Landing (Snapmare Driver). Hullum hooked both legs as he covered Maverick and got a three count!
ELIGIBLE: Kurt Hullum
Hullum scurried to the outside and went to grab a ladder but Young was there and dropped him with a spear. She popped up and rolled into the ring. Daemon stood and she dropped him with a spear. She popped up against and hit Pryce with a spear. Maverick was up and he turned right into a spear from Young. She was fired up and pumped her fist.
Scott Parker: F.M. is feeling it!
She turned and Daemon was there and he rocked her with the Inquisition (Powerful Running Lariat). He dropped onto her and picked up a pinfall.
ELIGIBLE: Daniel Daemon
Daemon grabbed Young and tossed her into the corner. He wanted to put her away and charged for another Inquisition but ran into the The K.O. Shot [Roundhouse Kick] from Pryce. Daemon was staggered and Pryce hit her Pay the Pryce [Double Knee Facebreaker] and dropped him. She covered the big man and got a three count pin.
ELIGIBLE: Chelsea Pryce
Pryce surveyed the damage around the ring and Maverick was back to his feet. She went to charge but was grabbed by the shoulder by Young. Young turned her around and connected with a DDT. Young got to her feet and Hullum was back in the ring, a ladder leaning against the ring. Hullum turned to Maverick and wanted to hit another Crash Landing but Maverick countered into a German suplex. He pulled Hullum up and hit a dragon suplex and finished off the Johnny Special with a rolled into a half and half suplex. Hullum staggered to his feet, dazed, and was hit with the ripcord bicycle knee strike and a spinning backfist, the Third Eye Opener. Maverick covered and picked up a pinfall.
ELIGIBLE: Johnny Maverick
Scott Parker: The action is fast and furious here but we must be getting close to the end. It seems everyone is starting to--
He’s cut off as Daemon tossed Pryce over the announcer table. He started to move chairs away and seemed determined to put her through the table. Young had left the ring and came back with a chair and hit Maverick in the back. Maverick staggered but took the shot. He turned back and Young blasted him over the head with the chair. Hullum pulled the chair away from Young and tried to DDT her onto it but Young countered. He slid away and grabbed the ladder on the outside. He was in the ring and went to ramp it into the face of Young but she ducked and he took out Maverick. Hullum turned around and the ladder clocked Young in the back of the head. Hullum started to set up the ladder in the middle of the ring. Daemon tried to chokeslam Pryce through the table but Pryce countered and landed a spiking DDT that put Daemon through the table. Back in the ring Hullum was climbing the ladder and Pryce charged back into the ring. She scurried up the side and stopped Hullum from grabbing the belt. The two were both going for the title before Maverick pulled Pryce off and Young pulled Hullum off. Young hit Hullum with the Human Error Processor (Assault Driver) and Maverick hit Pryce with a belly to belly suplex. Young had covered and picked up a pinfall.
ELIGIBLE: F.M. Young
Maverick was trying to get to the title as Young went after him. They fought at the top of the ladder before she pushed him off and he went falling to the mat. Young looked at the title but could see Hullum, Pryce, and Maverick starting to stir. She climbed to the top of the ladder and readied herself before jumping off and took all three out with the Battery Powered Bombshell (Shooting Star Senton)!
Gemma Foster: Oh my god! F.M. Young just went for broke and it worked!
Daemon was pushing pieces of the table away as he got to his feet. He was back in the ring and grabbed the chair and drove it into the back of Maverick. He delivered the same shot to Hullum. He then turned into another K.O. Shot from Pryce! Daemon staggered and was hit with a big spear from Young. Daemon got to his feet and was clotheslined over the top ropes by Pryce and Young. Hullum was to his feet and the two clotheslined him over the top ropes. Maverick was up and hit Young with a running knee strike and then a capture suplex. Pryce grabbed Maverick and landed her Vengeful Bitch [Cobra Clutch Slam]. Pryce took a few moments to gather herself before setting the ladder back up in the middle of the ring. She started to climb to the top of the ladder as Young pulled herself to the ladder. She reached up for Pryce but took a kick to the face. Young slid off the ladder and tried to climb but up and took another kick to the face. This one busted Young open across the forehead. Young shook it off and climbed up behind Pryce and smashed her head first into the top of the ladder. Pryce’s head bounced off the top of the ladder once more as she reached for the belt and had it by the strap. Young pushed her off the ladder and Pryce fell onto Hullum who was getting into the ring. Young had her hands on the hook holding the belt as Daemon got into the ring and pushed the ladder away, Young holding onto the hook and now had nothing under her.
Scott Parker: Oh no…
Daemon reached up at Young and tried to pull her down but she kicked away at him. She used her strength to climb the cord holding the belt to get away. Young started to slip and unhooked the title as she fell and crashed into Daemon as the fans went crazy!
WINNER: AND NEW EW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, F.M. Young @ 27:11
Scott Parker: F.M. did it! F.M. Young is the champion!
Young rolled off of Daemon and looked down at the championship and smiled. She wiped the blood away from her forehead and pumped the title in the air in celebration. The fans cheered as confetti started to fall.
Gemma Foster: And the celebration begins.
Pryce was up and looked over to Young and nodded but motioned for the belt around her waist.
Scott Parker: I think Pryce just let Young know that this is going to be a short reign.
Young climbed onto the turnbuckle and celebrated as we went off air.
Voiceover: The act of rising to an important position or a higher level.
